Description

光センサ装置
 本開示は、光センサ装置に関する。
 波長走査干渉方式を採用した波長掃引型光干渉断層計(SS-OCT:Swept Source - OCT)は、時間の経過とともに周波数が変化する波長掃引光を信号光及び参照光に分岐する。SS-OCTは、分岐した信号光を測定対象に向かって出射し、当該測定対象によって反射された信号光を受信し、受信した信号光を、分岐した参照光と干渉させ、干渉光を発生させることによりビート信号を取得する。SS-OCTは、取得したビート信号の周波数を測定することにより、光源から測定対象までの距離を測定する。
 上記のようなSS-OCTが光の周波数を広帯域に掃引した場合、波長掃引光の周波数の時間変化が理想的な線形性を示さず、非線形性を示すため、上述の距離分解能が劣化してしまう。そこで、特許文献1に記載の光学的距離測定装置は、このような波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する。より詳細には、当該光学的距離測定装置は、周波数変調波形が既知のレーザ光源を用い、ビート信号に対して、デジタル信号処理により既知の周波数変調波形を基に回帰分析を行うことによって、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する。

 しかしながら、特許文献1の方法では、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償するための回帰分析が測定毎に必要であり、信号処理負荷が大きくなってしまうという問題がある。
 本開示は、上記のような問題点を解決するためになされたものであり、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償することによって生じる信号処理負荷を軽減させる技術を提供する。
 本開示に係る光センサ装置は、時間の経過とともに周波数が変化する光を出力する波長掃引光源と、波長掃引光源1が出力した光を信号光及び局発光に分岐させる光分岐器と、光分岐器が分岐させた信号光を測定対象に向かって出射し、当該測定対象によって反射された反射光を受信する光センサヘッドと、光分岐器が分岐させた局発光、及び光センサヘッドが受信した反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての受信信号を取得する光ヘテロダイン受信器と、光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換するアナログデジタルコンバータと、アナログデジタルコンバータの第1のクロック信号を生成する第1のデジタルアナログコンバータと、アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した受信信号に基づいて、測定対象に関する測定データを算出する信号処理装置と、を備え、光ヘテロダイン受信器は、光分岐器が分岐させた局発光と、光分岐器が分岐させた信号光が内部反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得し、アナログデジタルコンバータは、光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号にさらに変換し、信号処理装置は、アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、波長掃引光源が出力した光の周波数変動に対する基準となる第1の周波数変動基準信号データをさらに算出し、第1のデジタルアナログコンバータは、前記信号処理装置が算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、第1のクロック信号として第1の周波数変動基準信号を生成し、アナログデジタルコンバータは、第1のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した受信信号をサンプリングする。
 本開示によれば、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償することによって生じる信号処理負荷を軽減させる。

 以下、本開示をより詳細に説明するため、本開示を実施するための形態について、添付の図面に従って説明する。
実施の形態1.
 図1は、実施の形態1に係る光センサ装置1000の構成を示すブロック図である。図1が示すように、光センサ装置1000は、波長掃引光源1、光分岐器2、光サーキュレータ3、参照反射点4、光センサヘッド5、光ヘテロダイン受信器6、アナログデジタルコンバータ7(ADC)、デジタルアナログコンバータ8(DAC)(第1のデジタルアナログコンバータ)、信号処理装置9、基準クロック10、分岐器11、フェーズロックドループ12(PLL)、及びスイッチ13を備えている。
 波長掃引光源1は、時間の経過とともに周波数が変化する光(波長掃引光)を光分岐器2に出力する。つまり、波長掃引光源1は、周波数掃引(波長掃引)を行う。換言すれば、波長掃引光源1は、時間の経過とともに波長が変化する光を光分岐器2に出力する。
 例えば、波長掃引光源1として、共振器長を制御することにより波長制御可能なレーザ光源、又は、注入電流量により波長が変化するレーザ光源等が使用可能である。例えば、波長掃引光源1は、周波数掃引を行うことにより、連続三角波的なアップチャープ及びダウンチャープを交互に繰返す光を出力してもよいし、鋸波的なアップチャープを繰返す光を出力してもよいし、又は鋸波的なダウンチャープを繰返す光を出力してもよいし、パルス化されたアップチャープ又はダウンチャープのチャープパルス信号を出力してもよい。
 光分岐器2は、波長掃引光源が出力した光を信号光及び局発光に分岐させる。光分岐器2は、分岐させた信号光を光サーキュレータ3に出力し、分岐させた局発光を光ヘテロダイン受信器6に出力する(図1の22)。
 光サーキュレータ3は、光分岐器2が分岐させた信号光を参照反射点4に出力する。
 参照反射点4は、光分岐器2が分岐させた信号光を部分的に反射することにより内部反射する。より詳細には、実施の形態1では、参照反射点4は、光サーキュレータ3が出力した信号光を部分的に反射することにより内部反射する。参照反射点4によって内部反射された内部反射光は、光サーキュレータ3を介して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6に出力される。参照反射点4を通過した信号光は、光センサヘッド5に出力される。参照反射点4の例として、部分反射ミラー、又はコネクタ端面が挙げられる。
 光センサヘッド5は、光分岐器2が分岐させた信号光(図1の51)を測定対象999に向かって出射し、測定対象999によって反射された反射光(図1の51)を受信する。より詳細には、実施の形態1では、光センサヘッド5は、参照反射点4を通過した信号光(図1の51)を測定対象999に向かって出射し、測定対象999によって反射された反射光(図1の51)を受信する。光センサヘッド5は、受信した反射光を、参照反射点4及び光サーキュレータ3を介して光ヘテロダイン受信器6に出力する(図1の31)。
 なお、光サーキュレータ3は、上記のように、光分岐器2側から入力された信号光(図1の21)を参照反射点4に出力し、参照反射点4側から入力された反射光又は内部反射光(図1の31)を光ヘテロダイン受信器6に出力する。
 光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光(図1の22)、及び光センサヘッド5が受信した反射光(図1の31)を合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての受信信号(ビート信号)を取得する。つまり、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光(図1の22)、及び光センサヘッド5が受信した反射光(図1の31)に対してヘテロダイン処理を行う。なお、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、例えば、フォトダイオード(PD)を用いて、合波した光を光電変換する。
 一方で、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光(図1の22)と、光分岐器2が分岐させた信号光が内部反射された内部反射光(図1の31)とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得する。より詳細には、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光(図1の22)と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光(図1の31)とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得する。光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、取得した受信信号及び内部受信信号(図1の61)をそれぞれアナログデジタルコンバータ7に出力する。
 基準クロック10は、基準クロック信号を生成する。基準クロック10は、生成した基準クロック信号を分岐器11に出力する。分岐器11は、基準クロック10が生成した基準クロック信号を信号処理装置9とフェーズロックドループ12とに分岐する。
 フェーズロックドループ12(PLL)は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7の第2のクロック信号を生成する。より詳細には、実施の形態1では、フェーズロックドループ12は、分岐器11が分岐した基準クロック信号に同期して、アナログデジタルコンバータ7の第2のクロック信号を生成する。フェーズロックドループ12は、生成した第2のクロック信号(図1の121)をデジタルアナログコンバータ8に出力し、また、生成した第2のクロック信号(図1の122)をスイッチ13に出力する。
 デジタルアナログコンバータ8(DAC)は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7の第1のクロック信号を生成する。より詳細には、デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、アナログデジタルコンバータ7の第1のクロック信号を生成する。デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、生成した第1のクロック信号(図1の81)をスイッチ13に出力する。第1のクロック信号の詳細については後述する。
 なお、上記のように、実施の形態1では、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、アナログデジタルコンバータ7の第1のクロック信号を生成する構成について説明する。しかし、光センサ装置1000は、別途、クロックを生成する回路をさらに備えていてもよく、デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、当該回路が生成したクロックに同期して、アナログデジタルコンバータ7の第1のクロック信号を生成してもよい。つまり、第1のクロック信号の周波数と第2のクロック信号の周波数とは、同期している必要はない。
 スイッチ13は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7のクロック信号を、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1のクロック信号、又はフェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号の何れか一方に切り替える。例えば、光センサ装置1000が後述する第1の周波数変動基準信号データを取得する際には、スイッチ13は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7のクロック信号を、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に切り替える。例えば、光センサ装置1000が後述する測定対象999に関する測定データを取得する際には、スイッチ13は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7のクロック信号を、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1のクロック信号に切り替える。
 アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換する。より詳細には、実施の形態1では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングする。さらに詳細には、実施の形態1では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、スイッチ13が切り替えた第2のクロック信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングする。アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号(図1の71)を信号処理装置9に出力する。
 信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、波長掃引光源1が出力した光の周波数変動に対する基準となる第1の周波数変動基準信号データを算出する。
 より詳細には、実施の形態1では、信号処理装置9は、分岐器11が分岐した基準クロック信号に同期して、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、第1の周波数変動基準信号データを算出する。信号処理装置9は、算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データをデジタルアナログコンバータ8に出力する(図1の91)。より詳細には、信号処理装置9は、算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データを図示しないメモリに格納し、当該メモリが、格納された第1の周波数変動基準信号データをデジタルアナログコンバータ8に出力する。第1の周波数変動基準信号データの詳細については後述する。
 デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、信号処理装置9が算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、上述の第1のクロック信号として第1の周波数変動基準信号を生成する。より詳細には、実施の形態1では、デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、信号処理装置9が算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、上述の第1のクロック信号として第1の周波数変動基準信号を生成する。デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号をスイッチ13に出力する。
 アナログデジタルコンバータ7(ADC)は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号にさらに変換する。より詳細には、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した受信信号をサンプリングする。さらに詳細には、実施の形態1では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、スイッチ13が切り替えた第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した受信信号をサンプリングする。アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタル信号に変換した受信信号(図1の71)を信号処理装置9に出力する。
 信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した受信信号に基づいて、測定対象999に関する測定データを算出する。信号処理装置9は、算出した測定データを外部に出力する(図1の92)。図示しないが、光センサ装置1000は、算出した測定データを画像として表示する表示装置をさらに備えていてもよい。信号処理装置9が算出する測定データの例として、光センサ装置1000から測定対象999までの距離を示す情報、又は測定対象999の位置を示す情報等が挙げられる。
 以下で、実施の形態1に係る光センサ装置1000による、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する方法の具体例について図面を参照して説明する。まず、比較対照のために、波長掃引光の周波数が線形性を示す場合の例について説明する。図2は、波長掃引光の周波数が線形性を示す場合の光センサ装置1000による信号処理の具体例を説明するためのグラフである。つまり、当該具体例では、波長掃引光源1が、線形性を示す波長掃引光(例えば、線形なアップチャープ等)を出力する。
 図2の(a)は、光分岐器2が分岐した局発光の周波数の時間変化(破線)と、光センサヘッド5が測定対象999から受信した反射光の周波数の時間変化(実線)とを示すグラフである。図2の(b)は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した受信信号(差ビートA)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化を示すグラフである。図2の(c)は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した受信信号を信号処理装置9が高速フーリエ変換(FFT)した結果である周波数スペクトルを示すグラフである。
 当該具体例のように、波長掃引光源1が出力した波長掃引光の周波数が理想的な線形性を示す場合には、図2の(a)が示すように、局発光と、測定対象999によって反射された反射光との間の時間遅延Aは一定となり、図2の(b)が示すように、それらを合波することにより得られたビート信号である差ビートAの周波数も一定となる。従って、図2の(c)が示すように、差ビートAに基づいた周波数スペクトルは、特定の周波数において鋭いピークを示す。これにより、信号処理装置9は、当該特定の周波数が含まれるFFT bin番号に基づいて、測定対象の位置情報を算出することができる。
 次に、比較対照のために、波長掃引光の周波数が非線形性を示すが、光センサ装置1000が非線形性を補償しない場合の例について説明する。図3は、非線形性を補償しない場合の光センサ装置1000による信号処理の具体例を説明するためのグラフである。つまり、当該具体例では、波長掃引光源1が、非線形性を示す波長掃引光(例えば、線形なアップチャープ等)を出力する。また、当該具体例では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、上述のように、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期せずに、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した受信信号をサンプリングしたものとする。
 図3の(a)は、当該具体例における、光分岐器2が分岐した局発光の周波数の時間変化(破線)と、光センサヘッド5が測定対象999から受信した反射光の周波数の時間変化(実線)とを示すグラフである。図3の(b)は、当該具体例における、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した受信信号(差ビートA)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化を示すグラフである。図3の(c)は、当該具体例における、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した受信信号を信号処理装置9が高速フーリエ変換(FFT)した結果である周波数スペクトルを示すグラフである。
 当該具体例のように、波長掃引光源1が出力した波長掃引光の周波数が非線形性を示す場合には、図3の(a)が示すように、局発光の周波数と、測定対象999によって反射された反射光の周波数とは、それぞれ、曲線を示し、局発光と、測定対象999によって反射された反射光との間の時間遅延Aは、時間の経過とともに変化する。そのため、図3の(b)が示すように、それらを合波することにより得られたビート信号である差ビートAの周波数も時間の経過とともに変化する。従って、図3の(c)が示すように、差ビートAに基づいた周波数スペクトルは、周波数軸方向に広がってしまい、測定対象の位置測定の分解能が低下してしまう。
 次に、実施の形態1に係る光センサ装置1000による信号処理の具体例について説明する。つまり、波長掃引光の周波数が非線形性を示し、光センサ装置1000が非線形性を補償する構成の具体例について説明する。
 まずは、測定対象999から反射された反射光を遮断した状態で、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号を取得する。アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、スイッチ13が切り替えた第2のクロック信号(フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号)に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換する。
 信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、第1の周波数変動基準信号データを算出し、図示しないメモリに格納する。例えば、信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号をヒルベルト変換することにより、当該内部受信信号の瞬時周波数を算出し、算出した瞬時周波数を逓倍することにより、第1の周波数変動基準信号データを算出する。より具体的には、例えば、信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号をヒルベルト変換することにより、当該内部受信信号の瞬時周波数fref(t)を算出し、算出した瞬時周波数fref(t)をK逓倍することにより、周波数成分Kfref(t)の第1の周波数変動基準信号データを算出する。なお、ここにおけるKは、正の整数である。
 デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、信号処理装置9が算出し、図示しないメモリに格納した第1の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、第1のクロック信号として第1の周波数変動基準信号を生成する。
 当該具体例では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した上述の内部受信信号及び上述の受信信号をそれぞれサンプリングすることによりそれぞれデジタル信号に変換する。なお、ここにおける内部受信信号は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が再度取得したものである。また、ここにおける受信信号は、上述のように、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光、及び光センサヘッド5が受信した反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号として取得したものである。
 当該具体例では、信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号及び受信信号に対してそれぞれ高速フーリエ変換(FFT)を行う。
 図4は、実施の形態1に係る光センサ装置1000による、内部反射光に対する信号処理の具体例を説明するためのグラフである。図4の(a)は、当該具体例における、光分岐器2が分岐した局発光の周波数の時間変化(破線)と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光の周波数の時間変化(点線)とを示すグラフである。
 図4の(b)は、当該具体例における、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び内部反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した内部受信信号(差ビートB)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化(点線)を示すグラフである。なお、図4の(b)の一点鎖線は、第1の周波数変動基準信号を示す。
 図4の(c)は、当該具体例における、信号処理装置9が内部受信信号を高速フーリエ変換した結果である周波数スペクトル(破線)を示すグラフである。なお、ここにおける内部受信信号は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が再度取得し、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述の第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期してサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換したものである。また、図4の(c)の点線は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述のフェーズロックドループ12の第2のクロック信号に同期して内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換した場合の周波数スペクトルを示す。
 図4の(a)が示すように、局発光の周波数と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光の周波数とは、それぞれ、曲線を示し、局発光と内部反射光との間の時間遅延Bは時間の経過とともに変化する。そのため、図4の(b)の点線が示すように、それらを合波することにより得られたビート信号である差ビートBの周波数も、図3の(b)の差ビートAと同様に、時間の経過とともに変化する。しかし、当該具体例では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述の第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して内部受信信号をサンプリングすることにより、波長掃引光の非線形性が補償されるため、図4の(c)の破線が示すように、スペクトルの広がりが抑制される。
 図5は、実施の形態1に係る光センサ装置1000による、反射光に対する信号処理の具体例を説明するためのグラフである。図5の(a)は、当該具体例における、光分岐器2が分岐した局発光の周波数の時間変化(破線)と、光センサヘッド5が測定対象999から受信した反射光の周波数の時間変化(実線)とを示すグラフである。
 図5の(b)は、当該具体例における、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した受信信号(差ビートA)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化(実線)を示すグラフである。なお、図5の(b)の一点鎖線は、第1の周波数変動基準信号を示す。
 図5の(c)は、当該具体例における、信号処理装置9が受信信号を高速フーリエ変換した結果である周波数スペクトル(破線)を示すグラフである。ここにおける受信信号は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述の第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期してサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換したものである。また、図5の(c)の実線は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述のフェーズロックドループ12の第2のクロック信号に同期して受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換した場合の周波数スペクトルを示す。
 図5の(a)が示すように、局発光の周波数と、光センサヘッド5が測定対象999から受信した反射光の周波数とは、それぞれ、曲線を示し、局発光と反射光との間の時間遅延Aは時間の経過とともに変化する。そのため、図5の(b)の実線が示すように、それらを合波することにより得られたビート信号である差ビートAの周波数も、時間の経過とともに変化する。しかし、当該具体例では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述の第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して受信信号をサンプリングすることにより、波長掃引光の非線形性が補償されるため、図5の(c)の破線が示すように、スペクトルの広がりが抑制される。これにより、信号処理装置9は、FFT bin番号に基づいて、測定対象の位置情報を算出することができる。
 上記のように、実施の形態1では、内部反射光に基づいて予め算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データを基準にしてサンプリングを行う構成を採用することにより、簡便であり且つ測定時の信号処理負荷が低減された高精度な光センサ装置1000を実現することができる。
 以上のように、実施の形態1に係る光センサ装置1000は、時間の経過とともに周波数が変化する光を出力する波長掃引光源1と、波長掃引光源1が出力した光を信号光及び局発光に分岐させる光分岐器2と、光分岐器2が分岐させた信号光を測定対象に向かって出射し、当該測定対象によって反射された反射光を受信する光センサヘッド5と、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光、及び光センサヘッド5が受信した反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての受信信号を取得する光ヘテロダイン受信器6と、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換するアナログデジタルコンバータ7と、アナログデジタルコンバータ7の第1のクロック信号を生成するデジタルアナログコンバータ8と、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した受信信号に基づいて、測定対象に関する測定データを算出する信号処理装置9と、を備え、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光と、光分岐器2が分岐させた信号光が内部反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得し、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号にさらに変換し、信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、波長掃引光源1が出力した光の周波数変動に対する基準となる第1の周波数変動基準信号データをさらに算出し、デジタルアナログコンバータ8は、信号処理装置9が算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、第1のクロック信号として第1の周波数変動基準信号を生成し、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した受信信号をサンプリングする。
 上記の構成によれば、内部受信信号に由来する第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、測定対象からの反射光に由来する受信信号をサンプリングすることにより、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償することができる。これにより、測定毎に、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償するための信号処理が不要になるため、信号処理波長掃引光の非線形性を補償することによって生じる信号処理負荷を軽減させることができる。
実施の形態2.
 実施の形態1では、波長掃引光源1が出力する波長掃引光の波形が変化しない構成について説明した。しかし、波長掃引光の波形が変化する場合、測定対象の位置測定の分解能が低下してしまう。そこで、実施の形態2では、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する構成について説明する。
 以下で、実施の形態2について図面を参照して説明する。なお、実施の形態1で説明した構成と同様の機能を有する構成については同一の符号を付し、その説明を省略する。図6は、実施の形態2に係る光センサ装置1001の構成を示すブロック図である。図6が示すように、光センサ装置1001は、実施の形態1に係る光センサ装置1000の構成に加えて、デジタルアナログコンバータ14(第2のDAC)(第2のデジタルアナログコンバータ)、周波数位相比較器15、ループフィルタ16、及び第2の分岐器17(分岐器)をさらに備えている。なお、実施の形態2では、上述の通り、波長掃引光源1が出力する波長掃引光の波形は、変化するものとする。
 第2の分岐器17は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した内部受信信号を、周波数位相比較器15とアナログデジタルコンバータ7とに分岐させる。なお、ここにおける内部受信信号は、上述の通り、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号として取得したものである。実施の形態2では、測定対象999からの反射光を遮断した状態で、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が内部受信信号を取得する。
 アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、第2の分岐器17が分岐させた内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換する。アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号を信号処理装置9に出力する。
 信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、第2の周波数変動基準信号データをさらに算出する。より詳細には、実施の形態2では、信号処理装置9は、分岐器11が分岐させた基準クロック信号に同期して、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、第2の周波数変動基準信号データをさらに算出する。信号処理装置9は、算出した第2の周波数変動基準信号データをデジタルアナログコンバータ14に出力する(図6の93)。より詳細には、実施の形態2では、信号処理装置9は、算出した第2の周波数変動基準信号データを図示しないメモリに格納し、当該メモリが、格納された第2の周波数変動基準信号データをデジタルアナログコンバータ14に出力する。
 第2の周波数変動基準信号データは、例えば、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号そのものであってもよい。または、信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号から不要な周波数成分を除去することにより、第2の周波数変動基準信号データを算出してもよい。
 デジタルアナログコンバータ14は、信号処理装置9が算出した第2の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、第2の周波数変動基準信号を生成する。より詳細には、実施の形態2では、デジタルアナログコンバータ14は、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、信号処理装置9が算出した第2の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、第2の周波数変動基準信号を生成する。デジタルアナログコンバータ14は、生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号を周波数位相比較器15に出力する(図1の141)。
 周波数位相比較器15は、第2の分岐器17が分岐した内部受信信号と、デジタルアナログコンバータ14が生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号とを比較することにより、周波数の誤差信号を生成する。周波数位相比較器15は、生成した誤差信号をループフィルタ16に出力する。
 ループフィルタ16は、周波数位相比較器15が生成した誤差信号を積分することにより制御信号を生成する。ループフィルタ16は、生成した制御信号を波長掃引光源1に出力する。
 波長掃引光源1は、ループフィルタ16が生成した制御信号に基づいて、出力する光の周波数を調整する。
 以下で、実施の形態2に係る光センサ装置1001による、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する方法の具体例について図面を参照して説明する。図7は、実施の形態2に係る光センサ装置1001による、内部反射光に対する信号処理の具体例を説明するためのグラフである。図7の(a)は、当該具体例における、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び内部反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した内部受信信号(差ビートB)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化(点線)を示すグラフである。図7の(a)の破線は、デジタルアナログコンバータ14が生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号を示す。
 図7の(a)の点線が示すように、波長掃引光源1が掃引する毎に波長掃引光の波形が変化するため、差ビートBの瞬時周波数を描く曲線が変化する。そこで、ある掃引時に、周波数位相比較器15は、上述のように、第2の分岐器17が分岐した内部受信信号である差ビートBと、デジタルアナログコンバータ14が生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号とを比較することにより、周波数の誤差信号を生成する。ループフィルタ16は、周波数位相比較器15が生成した誤差信号を積分することにより制御信号を生成する。波長掃引光源1は、ループフィルタ16が生成した制御信号に基づいて、出力する光の周波数を調整することにより、出力する波長掃引光の周波数及び位相を、第2の反射点周波数変動信号と同じ周波数及び位相に収束させる。このような収束動作により、波長掃引光の非線形性の再現性が向上する。
 図7の(b)は、当該具体例における、信号処理装置9が内部受信信号を高速フーリエ変換した結果である周波数スペクトル(実線)を示すグラフである。なお、ここにおける内部受信信号は、波長掃引光源1が、ループフィルタ16が生成した制御信号に基づいて周波数を調整した波長掃引光に由来する内部受信信号を光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得し、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述の第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期してサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換したものである。また、図7の(b)の点線は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述のフェーズロックドループ12の第2のクロック信号に同期して内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換した場合の周波数スペクトルを示す。また、図7の(b)の破線は、波長掃引光源1が波長掃引光の周波数を調整しなかった場合の周波数スペクトルを示す。
 波長掃引光源1が波長掃引光の周波数を調整しなかった場合、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性が補償されないため、図7の(b)の破線が示すように、差ビートBのスペクトルが周波数軸方向に広がってしまう。一方で、波長掃引光源1が上述のように波長掃引光の周波数を調整した場合、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性が補償されるため、図7の(b)の実線が示すように、差ビートBのスペクトルの広がりが抑制される。
 図8は、実施の形態2に係る光センサ装置1001による、反射光に対する信号処理の具体例を説明するためのグラフである。図8の(a)は、当該具体例における、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した受信信号(差ビートA)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化(破線)を示すグラフである。図8の(a)の点線は、波長掃引光源1が波長掃引光の周波数を調整しなかった場合における差ビートAの周波数の時間変化を示すグラフである。図8の(a)の一点鎖線は、第1の周波数変動基準信号を示す。
 図8の(a)の点線が示すように、波長掃引光源1が掃引する毎に波長掃引光の波形が変化するため、差ビートAの瞬時周波数を描く曲線が変化する。そこで、上述の手段により波長掃引光源1が出力する光の周波数を調整することにより、波長掃引光の周波数及び位相を、第2の反射点周波数変動信号と同じ周波数及び位相に収束させる。これにより、図8の(a)の破線が示すように、差ビートAの瞬時周波数も収束し、掃引毎の変動幅が小さくなる。
 図8の(b)は、当該具体例における、信号処理装置9が受信信号を高速フーリエ変換した結果である周波数スペクトル(内側の実線)を示すグラフである。なお、ここにおける受信信号は、波長掃引光源1が、ループフィルタ16が生成した制御信号に基づいて周波数を調整した波長掃引光に由来する受信信号を光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得し、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述の第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期してサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換したものである。また、図8の(b)の外側の実線は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7が上述のフェーズロックドループ12の第2のクロック信号に同期して受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換した場合の周波数スペクトルを示す。また、図8の(b)の破線は、波長掃引光源1が波長掃引光の周波数を調整しなかった場合の周波数スペクトルを示す。
 波長掃引光源1が波長掃引光の周波数を調整しなかった場合、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性が補償されないため、図8の(b)の破線が示すように、差ビートAのスペクトルが周波数軸方向に広がってしまう。一方で、波長掃引光源1が上述のように波長掃引光の周波数を調整した場合、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性が補償されるため、図8の(b)の内側の実線が示すように、差ビートAのスペクトルの広がりが抑制される。これにより、信号処理装置9は、FFT bin番号に基づいて、測定対象の位置情報を算出することができる。
 上記のように、実施の形態2では、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性を補償するための追加の干渉計を用いることなく、センサ分解能を向上させることができる。また、環境変動等による波長掃引光の非線形性、及び掃引周波数幅の変化による測定データのドリフトを抑制することができ、例えば、複数回の測定データを平均化することにより、測定精度の向上を図ることができる。
実施の形態3.
 実施の形態3では、測定対象999によって反射された反射光に由来する受信信号と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光に由来する内部受信信号とを分離する構成について説明する。
 以下で、実施の形態3について図面を参照して説明する。なお、実施の形態1又は実施の形態2で説明した構成と同様の機能を有する構成については同一の符号を付し、その説明を省略する。図9は、実施の形態3に係る光センサ装置1002の構成を示すブロック図である。図9が示すように、光センサ装置1002は、実施の形態2に係る光センサ装置1001の構成に加えて、光周波数シフタ18、シフト周波数発振器19、第3の分岐器20、ローパスフィルタ201(第1のフィルタ)、ハイパスフィルタ202(第2のフィルタ)、2逓倍器203、及び周波数ミキサ204を備えている。光周波数シフタ18は、参照反射点4と光センサヘッド5の間に設置されている。ローパスフィルタ201は、第2の分岐器17と周波数位相比較器15との間に設置されている。ハイパスフィルタ202及び周波数ミキサ204は、第2の分岐器17とアナログデジタルコンバータ7との間に設置されている。
 シフト周波数発振器19は、周波数シフトを行うための周波数シフト信号を第3の分岐器20に出力する。
 第3の分岐器20は、シフト周波数発振器19が出力した周波数シフト信号を、光周波数シフタ18と2逓倍器203とに分岐させる。
 2逓倍器203は、第3の分岐器20が分岐させた周波数シフト信号を2逓倍する。2逓倍器203は、2逓倍した周波数シフト信号を周波数ミキサ204に出力する。
 光周波数シフタ18は、参照反射点4を通過した信号光を周波数シフトさせる。より詳細には、実施の形態3では、光周波数シフタ18は、第3の分岐器20が分岐させた周波数シフト信号に基づいて、参照反射点4を通過した信号光を周波数シフトさせる。さらに詳細には、実施の形態3では、光周波数シフタ18は、参照反射点4を通過した信号光の周波数をダウンシフトさせる。光周波数シフタ18は、周波数シフト(ダウンシフト)させた信号光を光センサヘッド5に出力する。
 光周波数シフタ18として、例えば、音響光学変調器(AOM)を用いることができる。その場合、シフト周波数発振器19が出力する周波数シフト信号の波形は、sin波形である。例えば、光周波数シフタ18として、参照反射点4を通過した信号光に対して線形な位相チャープを与えることによりセロダイン変調を与えるLiNbO3位相変調器を用いることができる。その場合、シフト周波数発振器19が出力する周波数シフト信号の波形は、線形な電圧変化を繰り返す鋸波形である。
 光センサヘッド5は、光周波数シフタ18が周波数シフトさせた信号光を測定対象に向かって出射し、当該測定対象によって反射された反射光を受信する。光センサヘッド5は、受信した反射光を光周波数シフタ18に出力する。光周波数シフタ18は、光センサヘッド5が出力した反射光を、再度、周波数シフトさせる。光周波数シフタ18は、周波数シフトさせた反射光を参照反射点4及び光サーキュレータ3を介して光ヘテロダイン受信器6に出力する。
 光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光と、光周波数シフタ18が出力した反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての受信信号を取得する。また、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得する。
 第2の分岐器17は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得した受信信号及び内部受信信号を、ローパスフィルタ201とハイパスフィルタ202とに分岐させる。
 ローパスフィルタ201は、第2の分岐器17が分岐させた内部受信信号を通過させ、第2の分岐器17が分岐させた受信信号を遮断する。つまり、上述の光周波数シフタ18によるダウンシフトによって、反射光と局発光との周波数差に基づくビート信号である受信信号は、内部反射光と局発光との周波数差に基づくビート信号である内部受信信号よりも周波数が高くなるため、ローパスフィルタ201によって遮断される。
 ハイパスフィルタ202は、第2の分岐器17が分岐させた受信信号を通過させ、第2の分岐器17が分岐させた内部受信信号を遮断する。つまり、上述の光周波数シフタ18によるダウンシフトによって、反射光と局発光との周波数差に基づくビート信号である受信信号は、内部反射光と局発光との周波数差に基づくビート信号である内部受信信号よりも周波数が高くなるため、ハイパスフィルタ202を通過する。
 周波数位相比較器15は、ローパスフィルタ201が通過させた内部受信信号と、デジタルアナログコンバータ14が生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号とを比較することにより、周波数の誤差信号を生成する。
 周波数ミキサ204は、光周波数シフタ18によるシフト量の2倍の周波数分、ハイパスフィルタ202が通過させた受信信号を周波数シフトさせる。より詳細には、実施の形態3では、周波数ミキサ204は、ハイパスフィルタ202が通過させた受信信号と、2逓倍器203が2逓倍した周波数シフト信号とを掛け合わせることにより、当該受信信号をダウンシフトさせる。周波数ミキサ204は、周波数シフト(ダウンシフト)させた受信信号をアナログデジタルコンバータ7に出力する。
 アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が予め生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、ハイパスフィルタ202が通過させた受信信号をサンプリングする。より詳細には、実施の形態3では、アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、周波数ミキサ204が周波数シフトさせた受信信号をサンプリングする。
 以下で、実施の形態3に係る光センサ装置1002による、受信信号と内部受信信号とを分離する方法の具体例について説明する。図10は、実施の形態3に係る光センサ装置1002による、受信信号と内部受信信号とを分離する方法の具体例を説明するためのグラフである。図10の(a)は、当該具体例における、光分岐器2が分岐した局発光の周波数の時間変化(破線)と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光の周波数の時間変化(点線)と、光センサヘッド5が測定対象999から受信し、光周波数シフタ18が再度周波数シフトさせた反射光の周波数の時間変化(実線)とを示すグラフである。
 光周波数シフタ18は、fshift(シフト周波数発振器19の周波数に対応)の分、参照反射点4を通過した信号光を周波数シフトさせ、fshiftの分、光センサヘッド5が測定対象999から受信した反射光の周波数を再度ダウンシフトさせる。結果として、図10の(a)が示すように、光ヘテロダイン受信器6に入力される光のうちの反射光成分のみが2fshiftのダウンシフトを受けることになる。
 図10の(b)は、当該具体例における、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び内部反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した内部受信信号(差ビートB)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化(点線)と、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した受信信号(差ビートA)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化(実線)と、を示すグラフである。
 例えば、掃引中における、局発光と参照反射点4による内部反射光との差ビートBの瞬時周波数の最大値よりも2fshiftが大きくなるようにfshiftを設定することにより、図10の(b)が示すように、局発光と測定対象によって反射された反射光との差ビートAをハイパスフィルタ202により選択的に抽出可能となる。これにより、差ビートBは、ローパスフィルタ201によって選択的に抽出可能となる。
 図10の(c)は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7に入力される受信信号(差ビートA)の周波数の時間変化を示す。図10の(d)は、周波数位相比較器15に入力される内部受信信号(差ビートB)の周波数の時間変化を示す。
 図10(d)が示すように、第2の分岐器17がローパスフィルタ201に分岐させた受信信号及び内部受信信号のうち内部受信信号(差ビートB)のみが、ローパスフィルタ201により選択的に抽出され、周波数位相比較器15に入力される。一方で、第2の分岐器17がハイパスフィルタ202に分岐させた受信信号及び内部受信信号のうち受信信号(差ビートA)のみが、ハイパスフィルタ202により選択的に抽出され、周波数ミキサ204に入力される。そして、周波数ミキサ204は、入力された受信信号を、光周波数シフタ18によるシフト量の2倍の周波数分、ダウンコンバートする。これにより、図10(c)が示すように、受信信号は、光周波数シフタ18によってシフト成分が除去された状態で、アナログデジタルコンバータ7に入力される。
 上記のように、実施の形態3では、実施の形態2の効果に加えて、周波数位相比較器15に入力される信号から、不要な、測定対象からの反射光に由来する受信信号成分を除去することができ、波長掃引光の収束精度を向上させ、測定対象の位置測定の分解能を向上させることができる。
 なお、信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した受信信号に基づいて、測定対象999に関する測定データを算出する際に、光周波数シフタ18による周波数シフトによって生じた受信信号の非線形性を補償してもよい。
実施の形態4.
 実施の形態2では、波長掃引光源1が波長掃引光の周波数を調整することにより、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する構成について説明した。実施の形態4では、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光を周波数シフトさせることにより、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する構成について説明する。
 以下で、実施の形態4について図面を参照して説明する。なお、実施の形態1、実施の形態2又は実施の形態3で説明した構成と同様の機能を有する構成については同一の符号を付し、その説明を省略する。図11は、実施の形態4に係る光センサ装置1003の構成を示すブロック図である。図11が示すように、光センサ装置1003は、実施の形態2に係る光センサ装置1001の構成に加えて、光周波数シフタ18、周波数ミキサ204、及び電圧制御発振器205をさらに備えている。
 実施の形態4に係るループフィルタ16は、周波数位相比較器15が生成した誤差信号を積分することにより制御信号を生成し、生成した制御信号を電圧制御発振器205に出力する。
 電圧制御発振器205は、ループフィルタ16が生成した制御信号に基づいて、光周波数シフタ18の制御信号を発生させる。電圧制御発振器205は、発生させた制御信号を光周波数シフタ18に出力する。
 光周波数シフタ18は、電圧制御発振器205が発生させた制御信号に基づいて、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光を周波数シフトさせる。光周波数シフタ18は、周波数シフトさせた局発光を光ヘテロダイン受信器6に出力する。
 光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光周波数シフタ18が周波数シフトさせた局発光と、光分岐器2が分岐させた信号光が内部反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより内部受信信号を取得する。より詳細には、実施の形態4では、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光周波数シフタ18が周波数シフトさせた局発光と、参照反射点4によって反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより内部受信信号を取得する。
 光センサ装置1003が測定対象999に関する測定データを測定する際は、光ヘテロダイン受信器6は、光周波数シフタ18が周波数シフトさせた局発光と、光センサヘッド5が受信した反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより受信信号を取得する。
 周波数ミキサ204は、第2の分岐器17が分岐させた内部受信信号を周波数シフトさせる。光センサ装置1003が測定対象999に関する測定データを測定する際は、周波数ミキサ204は、第2の分岐器17が分岐させた受信信号を周波数シフトさせる。より詳細には、周波数ミキサ204は、フェーズロックドループ12が生成した第2のクロック信号(図11の124)に同期して、内部受信信号及び受信信号をそれぞれ周波数シフトさせる。周波数ミキサ204の詳細な構成については後述する。
 以下で、実施の形態4に係る光センサ装置1003による、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する方法の具体例について図面を参照して説明する。図12は、当該具体例における、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が局発光及び内部反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電交換することにより取得した内部受信信号(差ビートB)の周波数(ヘテロダイン周波数)の時間変化(点線)を示すグラフである。図12の破線は、デジタルアナログコンバータ14が生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号を示す。
 当該具体例では、光周波数シフタ18は、電圧制御発振器205が発生させた制御信号に基づいて、瞬時周波数fvco(t)の分、光分岐器2が分岐させた局発光を周波数シフトさせる。これにより、図12の点線が示すように、ある掃引時Xにおいて、光ヘテロダイン受信器6が取得する内部受信信号(差ビートB)の瞬時的なヘテロダイン周波数は、fbX(t)+fvco(t)となる。fbX(t)は、ある掃引時Xにおける差ビートBの周波数である。
 信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号の周波数にオフセットを与えることにより、第2の周波数変動基準信号データを算出する。より詳細には、当該具体例では、信号処理装置9は、アナログデジタルコンバータ7がデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号の周波数にオフセットfoffsetを与えることにより、図12の破線が示すように、周波数がfref(t)+foffsetの第2の周波数変動基準信号データを算出する。結果として、周波数位相比較器15が生成した誤差信号に基づいてループフィルタ16が生成する制御信号は、fbX(t)+fvco(t)=fref(t)+foffsetが成り立つように、電圧制御発振器205が出力する制御信号の瞬時周波数fvco(t)を制御する。
 周波数ミキサ204は、第2の分岐器17が分岐した内部受信信号の周波数を、オフセットの分、ダウンシフトさせる。より詳細には、当該具体例では、周波数ミキサ204は、第2の分岐器17が分岐した内部受信信号(差ビートB)の周波数を、オフセットfoffsetの分、ダウンコンバートする。これにより、差ビートBの内部受信信号は、fbX(t)+fvco(t)-foffset=fref(t)に収束する。アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、周波数ミキサ204がダウンシフトさせた内部受信信号をサンプリングする。
 測定対象999に関する測定データを測定する際は、周波数ミキサ204は、第2の分岐器17が分岐した受信信号の周波数を、オフセットfoffsetの分、ダウンシフトさせる。アナログデジタルコンバータ7は、デジタルアナログコンバータ8が生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、周波数ミキサ204がダウンシフトさせた受信信号をサンプリングする。
 以上のように、実施の形態4では、オフセットの分、周波数位相比較器15での比較周波数を高くできるため、動作が安定し、高精度な測定データが得られるという効果を奏する。また、局発光を周波数シフトすることにより、波形が変化する波長掃引光の非線形性を補償することができるため、波長掃引を外部制御できない波長掃引光源を使用することができ、設計自由度を向上させることができる。
 光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の機能は、処理回路により実現される。すなわち、信号処理装置9は、上述の処理を実行するための処理回路を備える。この処理回路は、専用のハードウェアであってもよいが、メモリに記憶されたプログラムを実行するCPU(Central Processing Unit)であってもよい。
 図13Aは、光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の機能を実現するハードウェア構成を示すブロック図である。図13Bは、光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の機能を実現するソフトウェアを実行するハードウェア構成を示すブロック図である。
 上記処理回路が図13Aに示す専用のハードウェアの処理回路300である場合、処理回路300は、例えば、単一回路、複合回路、プログラム化したプロセッサ、並列プログラム化したプロセッサ、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)、FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array)又はこれらを組み合わせたものが該当する。
 光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の機能を別々の処理回路で実現してもよいし、これらの機能をまとめて1つの処理回路で実現してもよい。
 上記処理回路が図13Bに示すプロセッサ301である場合、光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の機能は、ソフトウェア、ファームウェア又はソフトウェアとファームウェアとの組み合わせによって実現される。
 なお、ソフトウェア又はファームウェアは、プログラムとして記述されてメモリ302に記憶される。
 プロセッサ301は、メモリ302に記憶されたプログラムを読み出して実行することにより、光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の機能を実現する。すなわち、光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9は、これらの各機能がプロセッサ301によって実行されるときに、上述の処理が結果的に実行されるプログラムを記憶するためのメモリ302を備える。
 これらのプログラムは、光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の手順又は方法をコンピュータに実行させる。メモリ302は、コンピュータを、光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9として機能させるためのプログラムが記憶されたコンピュータ可読記憶媒体であってもよい。
 プロセッサ301には、例えば、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、処理装置、演算装置、プロセッサ、マイクロプロセッサ、マイクロコンピュータ、またはDSP(Digital Signal Processor)などが該当する。
 メモリ302には、例えば、RAM(Random Access Memory)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、フラッシュメモリ、EPROM(Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory)、EEPROM(Electrically-EPROM)などの不揮発性又は揮発性の半導体メモリ、ハードディスク、フレキシブルディスク等の磁気ディスク、フレキシブルディスク、光ディスク、コンパクトディスク、ミニディスク、DVD(Digital Versatile Disc)などが該当する。
 光センサ装置1000、光センサ装置1001、光センサ装置1002又は光センサ装置1003の信号処理装置9の機能について一部を専用のハードウェアで実現し、一部をソフトウェア又はファームウェアで実現してもよい。
 このように、処理回路は、ハードウェア、ソフトウェア、ファームウェア又はこれらの組み合わせにより上記機能のそれぞれを実現することができる。
 なお、各実施の形態の自由な組み合わせ、あるいは各実施の形態の任意の構成要素の変形、もしくは各実施の形態において任意の構成要素の省略が可能である。
 本開示に係る光センサ装置は、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償することによって生じる信号処理負荷を軽減させることができるため、波長掃引光の非線形性を補償する技術に利用可能である。

Claims (11)

  1.  時間の経過とともに周波数が変化する光を出力する波長掃引光源と、
     前記波長掃引光源が出力した光を信号光及び局発光に分岐させる光分岐器と、
     前記光分岐器が分岐させた信号光を測定対象に向かって出射し、当該測定対象によって反射された反射光を受信する光センサヘッドと、
     前記光分岐器が分岐させた局発光、及び前記光センサヘッドが受信した反射光を合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての受信信号を取得する光ヘテロダイン受信器と、
     前記光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号に変換するアナログデジタルコンバータと、
     前記アナログデジタルコンバータの第1のクロック信号を生成する第1のデジタルアナログコンバータと、
     前記アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した受信信号に基づいて、前記測定対象に関する測定データを算出する信号処理装置と、を備え、
     前記光ヘテロダイン受信器は、前記光分岐器が分岐させた局発光と、前記光分岐器が分岐させた信号光が内部反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得し、
     前記アナログデジタルコンバータは、前記光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングすることによりデジタル信号にさらに変換し、
     前記信号処理装置は、前記アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、前記波長掃引光源が出力した光の周波数変動に対する基準となる第1の周波数変動基準信号データをさらに算出し、
     前記第1のデジタルアナログコンバータは、前記信号処理装置が算出した第1の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、前記第1のクロック信号として第1の周波数変動基準信号を生成し、
     前記アナログデジタルコンバータは、前記第1のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、前記光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した受信信号をサンプリングすることを特徴とする、光センサ装置。
  2.  前記光分岐器が分岐させた信号光を部分的に反射することにより内部反射する参照反射点をさらに備え、
     前記光ヘテロダイン受信器は、前記光分岐器が分岐させた局発光と、前記参照反射点によって反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光センサ装置。
  3.  前記アナログデジタルコンバータの第2のクロック信号を生成するフェーズロックドループをさらに備え、
     前記アナログデジタルコンバータは、前記フェーズロックドループが生成した第2のクロック信号に同期して、前記光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した内部受信信号をサンプリングすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光センサ装置。
  4.  前記アナログデジタルコンバータのクロック信号を、前記第1のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第1のクロック信号としての第1の周波数変動基準信号、又は前記フェーズロックドループが生成した第2のクロック信号の何れか一方に切り替えるスイッチをさらに備えていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の光センサ装置。
  5.  前記信号処理装置は、前記アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号をヒルベルト変換することにより、当該内部受信信号の瞬時周波数を算出し、算出した瞬時周波数を逓倍することにより、前記第1の周波数変動基準信号データを算出することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光センサ装置。
  6.  分岐器、第2のデジタルアナログコンバータ、周波数位相比較器、及びループフィルタをさらに備え、
     前記分岐器は、前記光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した内部受信信号を、前記周波数位相比較器と前記アナログデジタルコンバータとに分岐させ、
     前記信号処理装置は、前記アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、第2の周波数変動基準信号データをさらに算出し、
     前記第2のデジタルアナログコンバータは、前記信号処理装置が算出した第2の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、第2の周波数変動基準信号を生成し、
     前記周波数位相比較器は、前記分岐器が分岐した内部受信信号と、前記第2のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号とを比較することにより、周波数の誤差信号を生成し、
     前記ループフィルタは、前記周波数位相比較器が生成した誤差信号を積分することにより制御信号を生成し、
     前記波長掃引光源は、前記ループフィルタが生成した制御信号に基づいて、出力する光の周波数を調整することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光センサ装置。
  7.  参照反射点、光周波数シフタ、第1のフィルタ、及び第2のフィルタをさらに備え、
     前記参照反射点は、前記光分岐器が分岐させた信号光を部分的に反射することにより内部反射し、
     前記光周波数シフタは、前記参照反射点を通過した信号光を周波数シフトさせ、
     前記光センサヘッドは、前記光周波数シフタが周波数シフトさせた信号光を前記測定対象に向かって出射し、当該測定対象によって反射された反射光を受信し、
     前記光ヘテロダイン受信器は、前記光分岐器が分岐させた局発光と、前記参照反射点によって反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより電気信号としての内部受信信号をさらに取得し、
     前記分岐器は、前記光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した受信信号及び内部受信信号を、前記第1のフィルタと前記第2のフィルタとに分岐させ、
     前記第1のフィルタは、前記分岐器が分岐させた内部受信信号を通過させ、前記分岐器が分岐させた受信信号を遮断し、
     前記第2のフィルタは、前記分岐器が分岐させた受信信号を通過させ、前記分岐器が分岐させた内部受信信号を遮断し、
     前記周波数位相比較器は、前記第1のフィルタが通過させた内部受信信号と、前記第2のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号とを比較することにより、周波数の誤差信号を生成し、
     前記アナログデジタルコンバータは、前記第1のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、前記第2のフィルタが通過させた受信信号をサンプリングすることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の光センサ装置。
  8.  周波数ミキサをさらに備え、
     前記光周波数シフタは、前記光センサヘッドが受信した反射光をさらに周波数シフトさせ、
     前記周波数ミキサは、前記光周波数シフタによるシフト量の2倍の周波数分、前記第2のフィルタが通過させた受信信号を周波数シフトさせ、
     前記アナログデジタルコンバータは、前記第1のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第1の周波数変動基準信号に同期して、前記周波数ミキサが周波数シフトさせた受信信号をサンプリングすることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の光センサ装置。
  9.  前記信号処理装置は、前記アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した受信信号に基づいて、前記測定対象に関する測定データを算出する際に、前記光周波数シフタによる周波数シフトによって生じた受信信号の非線形性を補償することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の光センサ装置。
  10.  分岐器、第2のデジタルアナログコンバータ、周波数位相比較器、ループフィルタ、電圧制御発振器、及び光周波数シフタをさらに備え、
     前記分岐器は、前記光ヘテロダイン受信器が取得した内部受信信号を、前記周波数位相比較器と前記アナログデジタルコンバータとに分岐させ、
     前記信号処理装置は、前記アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号に基づいて、第2の周波数変動基準信号データをさらに算出し、
     前記第2のデジタルアナログコンバータは、前記信号処理装置が算出した第2の周波数変動基準信号データをアナログ信号に変換することにより、第2の周波数変動基準信号を生成し、
     前記周波数位相比較器は、前記分岐器が分岐した内部受信信号と、前記第2のデジタルアナログコンバータが生成した第2の周波数変動基準信号とを比較することにより、周波数の誤差信号を生成し、
     前記ループフィルタは、前記周波数位相比較器が生成した誤差信号を積分することにより制御信号を生成し、
     前記電圧制御発振器は、前記ループフィルタが生成した制御信号に基づいて、前記光周波数シフタの制御信号を発生させ、
     前記光周波数シフタは、前記電圧制御発振器が発生させた制御信号に基づいて、前記光分岐器が分岐させた局発光を周波数シフトさせ、
     前記光ヘテロダイン受信器は、前記光周波数シフタが周波数シフトさせた局発光と、前記光分岐器が分岐させた信号光が内部反射された内部反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより前記内部受信信号を取得し、前記光周波数シフタが周波数シフトさせた局発光と、前記光センサヘッドが受信した反射光とを合波し、合波した光を光電変換することにより前記受信信号を取得することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光センサ装置。
  11.  周波数ミキサをさらに備え、
     前記信号処理装置は、前記アナログデジタルコンバータがデジタル信号に変換した内部受信信号の周波数にオフセットを与えることにより、前記第2の周波数変動基準信号データを算出し、
     前記周波数ミキサは、前記分岐器が分岐させた受信信号及び内部受信信号の各周波数を、前記オフセットの分、ダウンシフトさせることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の光センサ装置。
