続いて、情報処理システムSyで実現される情報処理(実施形態に係る情報処理)の流れについて図1を用いて説明する。ここでは、車両VE1を運転するユーザU1に対して、車両VE1の車載装置に相当する端末装置10を介して音声コンテンツが再生出力される場面を想定する。係る場面では、端末装置10は、自装置が有するセンサにより検出されたセンサ情報を随時、エッジコンピュータECP1に送信している。
次に、情報整合エンジンによって行われる情報整合処理について、具体的な一例を用いてより詳細に説明する。図2は、情報整合処理の一例を示す図である。図2には、情報整合エンジンE100-1によって情報整合処理が行われる場面が示される。
図1では、エッジコンピュータECP1、および、クラウドコンピュータCCP2の間で、実施形態に係る情報処理が行われる例を示した。ここからは、情報整合エンジンE100-1または情報整合エンジンE100-2を有するコンピュータを、実施形態に係る情報処理装置100として説明する。
まず、図3を用いて、情報処理装置100についてより詳細に説明する。図3は、実施形態に係る情報処理装置100の構成例を示す図である。図3に示すように、情報処理装置100は、通信部110と、記憶部120と、アプリケーションAPx、制御部130とを有する。
通信部110は、例えば、NIC等によって実現される。そして、通信部110は、ネットワークと有線または無線で接続され、例えば、端末装置10との間で情報の送受信を行う。
記憶部120は、例えば、RAM(Random Access Memory)、フラッシュメモリ等の半導体メモリ素子またはハードディスク、光ディスク等の記憶装置によって実現される。記憶部120は、コンテンツデータベース121(コンテンツバッファ)と、走行情報データベース122とを有する。
コンテンツデータベース121は、コンテンツ情報に関する各種情報を記憶する。ここで、図4に実施形態に係るコンテンツデータベース121の一例を示す。図4の例では、コンテンツデータベース121は、「アプリID」、「コンテンツID」、「コンテンツデータ」、「カテゴリ」、「メタ情報」、「範囲情報」といった項目を有する。
走行情報データベース122は、車両の走行状況に関する走行情報を記憶する。ここで、図5に実施形態に係る走行情報データベース122の一例を示す。図5の例では、走行情報データベース122は、「車両ID」、「搭乗者人数」、「端末ID」、「時刻」、「走行情報」といった項目を有する。
図3に戻り、アプリケーションAPxは、図1で説明した実施形態に係るアプリケーションAP1xまたはAP2xに対応する。
制御部130は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)やMPU(Micro Processing Unit)等によって、情報処理装置100内部の記憶装置に記憶されている各種プログラム(例えば、実施形態に係る情報処理プログラム)がRAMを作業領域として実行されることにより実現される。また、制御部130は、例えば、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)やFPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)等の集積回路により実現される。
第1取得部131は、車両の走行状況に関する走行情報を取得する。例えば、第1取得部131は、状況把握エンジンE30-1(E30-2)による状況把握処理によって把握された車両の走行状況を示す走行情報を取得する。
第2取得部132は、コンテンツ情報の再生出力を終了させるべき地理的位置または地理的範囲を示すエリア情報を取得する。例えば、第2取得部132は、地理的位置としてコンテンツ情報に応じた目標地点に対する手前の所定地点、または、地理的範囲としてコンテンツ情報に応じた目標地点に対する手前の所定の距離幅を条件付けるエリア情報を取得する。例えば、エリア情報は、メタ情報に含まれた状態でコンテンツ情報とともにアプリケーションAPxによって送信される。したがって、第2取得部132は、アプリケーションAPxによって入力されたコンテンツ情報を取得することで、エリア情報も取得することができる。
特定部133は、車両の走行状況に関する走行情報に基づいて、コンテンツ情報が配信される配信先の車両を特定する。なお、コンテンツ情報が配信される配信先の車両とは、コンテンツ情報が配信される配信先の端末装置10を指し示す。また、ここでいう走行情報は、第1取得部131により取得された走行情報であってよい。
決定部134は、コンテンツ情報の再生時間と、エリア情報とに基づいて、走行中の車両においてコンテンツ情報の再生出力を開始させる出力開始タイミングを決定する。例えば、決定部134は、コンテンツ情報の再生時間と、エリア情報と、配信先の車両の速度とに基づいて、配信先の車両の車内においてコンテンツ情報の再生出力を開始させる出力開始タイミングを決定する。
出力制御部135は、コンテンツ情報を再生出力するよう端末装置10に対して出力制御する。例えば、出力制御部135は、決定部134により決定された出力開始タイミングでコンテンツ情報が再生出力されるよう、コンテンツ情報を車両に配信する。
ここからは、図6を用いて、実施形態に係る情報処理(決定処理)の具体的な一例を示す。図6は、実施形態に係る情報処理の一例を示す図である。
次に、図8を用いて、実施形態に係る情報処理の手順について説明する。図8は、実施形態に係る情報処理手順を示すフローチャートである。
実施形態に係る情報処理装置100は、コンテンツ情報の再生出力を終了させるべき地理的位置または地理的範囲を示すエリア情報を取得し、コンテンツ情報の再生時間と、エリア情報とに基づいて、走行中の車両においてコンテンツ情報の再生出力を開始させる出力開始タイミングを決定する。このような情報処理装置100によれば、予め決められている地点でコンテンツ情報の再生出力が終了するよう、適切なタイミングでコンテンツ情報の再生出力を車両において開始させることができる。
また、上述してきた実施形態に係る情報処理装置100は、例えば、図9に示すような構成のコンピュータ1000によって実現される。図9は、情報処理装置100の機能を実現するコンピュータの一例を示すハードウェア構成図である。コンピュータ1000は、CPU1100、RAM1200、ROM1300、HDD1400、通信インターフェイス(I/F)1500、入出力インターフェイス(I/F)1600、及びメディアインターフェイス(I/F)1700を有する。
また、上記各実施形態において説明した処理のうち、自動的に行われるものとして説明した処理の全部または一部を手動的に行うこともでき、あるいは、手動的に行われるものとして説明した処理の全部または一部を公知の方法で自動的に行うこともできる。この他、上記文書中や図面中で示した処理手順、具体的名称、各種のデータやパラメータを含む情報については、特記する場合を除いて任意に変更することができる。例えば、各図に示した各種情報は、図示した情報に限られない。

Claims (13)
- コンテンツ情報の再生出力を終了させるべき地理的位置または地理的範囲を示すエリア情報を取得する取得部と、
前記コンテンツ情報の再生時間と、前記エリア情報とに基づいて、走行中の車両において前記コンテンツ情報の再生出力を開始させる出力開始タイミングを決定する決定部と
を有することを特徴とする情報処理装置。 - 前記取得部は、前記地理的位置として前記コンテンツ情報に応じた目標地点に対する手前の所定地点、または、前記地理的範囲として前記コンテンツ情報に応じた目標地点に対する手前の所定の距離幅を条件付ける前記エリア情報を取得する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の情報処理装置。 - 車両の走行状況に関する走行情報に基づいて、前記コンテンツ情報が配信される配信先の車両を特定する特定部をさらに有し、
前記決定部は、前記コンテンツ情報の再生時間と、前記エリア情報と、前記配信先の車両の速度とに基づいて、前記配信先の車両の車内において前記コンテンツ情報の再生出力を開始させる出力開始タイミングを決定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記特定部は、前記走行情報に基づいて、前記コンテンツ情報に応じた目標地点を進行方向とする車両を抽出し、抽出した車両を前記配信先の車両として特定する
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記特定部は、前記走行情報に基づいて、将来、前記エリア情報が示す位置である前記地理的位置または前記地理的範囲に到達すると予測される車両を特定し、特定した車両を前記目標地点を進行方向とする車両として抽出する
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記特定部は、前記走行情報に基づいて、前記コンテンツ情報に応じた目標地点が存在する側の車線を走行する車両を抽出し、抽出した車両を前記配信先の車両として特定する
ことを特徴とする請求項3~5のいずれか1つに記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記決定部は、前記配信先の車両に関する所定の情報に基づいて、前記配信先の車両が、前記エリア情報が示す位置の通過に要する所要時間を推定し、推定した所要時間をさらに用いて、前記出力開始タイミングを決定する
ことを特徴とする請求項3~6のいずれか1つに記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記決定部は、前記エリア情報が示す位置での渋滞情報に基づいて、前記配信先の車両が、前記エリア情報が示す位置の通過に要する所要時間を推定する
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記決定部は、前記エリア情報が示す位置の通過に要する所要時間の統計値を、前記配信先の車両が、前記エリア情報が示す位置の通過に要する所要時間として推定する
ことを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記決定部は、前記所要時間と、前記エリア情報とに基づき、前記エリア情報が示す位置での前記配信先の車両の速度を推定し、推定した速度を用いて前記出力開始タイミングを決定する
ことを特徴とする請求項7~9のいずれか1つに記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記決定部により決定された出力開始タイミングで前記コンテンツ情報が再生出力されるよう、前記コンテンツ情報を車両に配信する配信部をさらに有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1~10のいずれか1つに記載の情報処理装置。 - 情報処理装置が実行する情報処理方法であって、
コンテンツ情報の再生出力を終了させるべき地理的位置または地理的範囲を示すエリア情報を取得する取得工程と、
前記コンテンツ情報の再生時間と、前記エリア情報とに基づいて、走行中の車両において前記コンテンツ情報の再生出力を開始させる出力開始タイミングを決定する決定工程と
を含むことを特徴とする情報処理方法。 - コンピュータを備える情報処理装置によって実行される情報処理プログラムであって、
前記コンピュータを、
コンテンツ情報の再生出力を終了させるべき地理的位置または地理的範囲を示すエリア情報を取得する取得手段と、
前記コンテンツ情報の再生時間と、前記エリア情報とに基づいて、走行中の車両において前記コンテンツ情報の再生出力を開始させる出力開始タイミングを決定する決定手段と
として機能させることを特徴とする情報処理プログラム。
