Abstract

The invention relates to a device for transporting and storing garments, comprising at least one hanger (101) having a top portion including the hook and the junction of the shoulders of the hanger, said top portion comprising at least one through-opening, and a cover (1000) comprising a front wall (110) and a rear wall (120), secured to one another at a top wall (140), the cover (1000) comprising an opening intended to allow the insertion of at least one garment (103) hung on a hanger (101), said top wall (140) including: a through-opening (141) sized to allow the insertion of the top portion of at least one hanger (101), and a holding member (104) comprising one end connected to the cover (1000), the opposite end being intended to be inserted into the opening of the hanger (101) so as to hold the top portion of the hangers (101) outside the cover (1000).

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE DEVICE FOR CLOTHES

The invention relates to the field of transport and storage covers for protecting clothing after cleaning.

It relates more specifically to a device comprising at least one hanger and a cover advantageously making it possible to facilitate the transport of clothing, in particular for people on bicycles, scooters or scooters.

Previous techniques:

Conventionally, transport and storage covers for clothing are formed from a roll of transparent plastic film in the form of a sheath, generally made of polyethylene. The covers are cut from the roll, to the length of the garment you wish to protect. The plastic being very fragile and for hygienic reasons, the covers are for single use.

However, the search to reduce the consumption of plastic material generated by this type of cover is now pushing dry cleaners to equip themselves with reusable covers, which are more respectful of the environment, which can be washed and disinfected without degrading them. .

By way of example, the document US5090559 describes a reusable dry-cleaning cover whose upper wall is pierced with an opening, thus allowing the upper portion of one or more hangers to protrude. The clothes, hung on the hangers, are inserted into the cover from the lower opening of the cover. The cover can also be closed and used as a laundry bag thanks to the presence of a drawstring in a hem of the lower opening of the cover.

However, this type of cover has several disadvantages. To transport the cover, a user must hold all of the hangers by hand. If there are too many hangers or if a hanger slips out of the grip of the user during transport, it happens that the latter falls back into the cover, then crumpling the garment hanging on the fallen hanger. If the cover is not closed at the lower end, it even happens that the garment slips out of the cover and is soiled or even lost.

In addition, the shape of the hooks of the hangers is not suitable for transport. Thus, during transport, the user risks injuring himself or wrinkling the clothes by carrying the cover astride his arm.

The problem that the invention proposes to solve is therefore to develop a cover making it possible to secure the clothes contained in the cover and to facilitate their transport.

Description of the invention:

To solve this problem, the invention proposes to develop a transport and storage device for clothing comprising:

- at least one hanger having an upper portion including the hook and the junction of the shoulders of the hanger, said upper portion comprising at least one through opening, and

- a cover comprising a front wall and a rear wall, joined together at an upper wall. The cover has an opening intended to allow the insertion of at least one garment hung on a hanger.

The top wall includes:

- at least one through opening sized to allow the insertion of the upper portion of the at least one hanger, and

- a holding member comprising one end connected to the cover, the opposite end being intended to be inserted into the opening of the hangers so as to hold the upper portion of the hangers out of the cover.

Within the meaning of the invention, the shoulders of the hanger are generally inclined downwards. The hanger therefore has a lower portion whose shape is similar to that of a triangle. The junction of the hanger's shoulders corresponds to the top vertex of this triangle.

In the case of a hanger formed from wire, the shoulder junction of the hanger is the area where one end of the wire is wrapped around another portion of the wire. The substantially triangular-shaped area located just below the roll-up area corresponds to the opening of the handlebar junction.

In the case of a thicker hanger, typically made of wood or plastic, the hanger has a boomerang shape, at the top of which is inserted a metal hook. The top can be pierced with an opening allowing the insertion of the holding device. We will favor hangers whose top of the boomerang forms an outgrowth and where the opening is located in the upper portion of the outgrowth to leave room for a shirt collar or a hood.

In other words, the invention makes it possible on the one hand to secure the hangers present in the cover, both thanks to the opening made in the upper wall and thanks to the holding member. Indeed, the opening of the upper wall is sufficiently narrow so that the hooks of the hangers cannot be easily released and fall back into the cover. A complex tilting movement following the shape of the hanger hook must be performed to release the hanger from the opening. In addition, the securing of the hangers is also achieved thanks to the holding device, which allows the hangers to be gathered together and prevents them from falling back into the cover.

On the other hand, the holding member also has a carrying means function. Indeed, a user can grab the holding device instead of the hooks of the hangers to transport the cover. It thus reduces the risk of injury or of creasing the clothes contained in the cover.

The combined action of these two means makes it easier to transport clothes in the cover, especially between the laundry and the home. Indeed, the hangers are not likely to fall into the cover and wrinkle the clothes hanging on it. In addition, the hangers move less relative to each other and relative to the cover, which also facilitates transport. Advantageously, the periphery of the at least one through-opening of the upper wall is reinforced by an eyelet.

Unlike the plastic film sheaths of the prior art, the cover of the invention is intended to be reused and to make many round trips between the customer's home and the laundry. The cover of the invention is therefore preferably more resistant than the covers of the prior art, in particular thanks to the presence of the eyelet, which reinforces the through opening of the upper wall and prevents it from deforming during the time, by dint of the passages of the hangers.

Advantageously, the through opening of the top wall has an elongated, oval, oblong or rectangular shape, the largest dimension of which is oriented perpendicular to the largest dimension of the top wall.

According to the invention, the largest dimension of the upper wall corresponds to the width of the cover, that is to say the direction parallel to the axis connecting the shoulders of the hangers.

Indeed, this type of shape is particularly indicated in the case where the cover includes several hangers. These can be aligned, one behind the other, in the direction of the thickness of the cover. The hooks are overlapped in the opening of the top wall, along the largest dimension. This facilitates, on the one hand, the insertion of the holding device into the opening made at the level of the junction of the hanger, and on the other hand, the transport of the cover thereafter.

Several embodiments of the holding member can be envisaged.

According to a first embodiment, the holding member is a strap. A first end of the strap is connected to the cover, typically on the top wall, the front wall, the back wall or one of the side walls. The second end can be inserted into the opening made at the junction of the hangers. The upper portion of the hangers is thus held out of the cover by the strap and the hangers cannot fall back into the cover. The second end of the strap can then also be fixed to a wall of the cover or even be folded back on itself to form a portion wider than the opening of the junction of the hangers, thus preventing the removal of the holding member from the opening.

In addition, the strap also has a second function to facilitate the transport of the cover. Thus, according to a first example, the strap comprises fastening means making it possible to fold the strap on itself to form a handle.

A user then does not need to grab the hooks of the hangers to carry the cover, he can grab the handle, which is more practical and more comfortable than the hooks of the hangers. Indeed, these risk injuring the user or even deforming, thus increasing the risk that the hangers fall back into the cover, since their shape is no longer adapted to the opening of the upper wall.

According to another example, the strap comprises attachment means on the front or rear wall of the cover making it possible to form a shoulder strap. The shoulder strap also makes it easier to transport the cover. A user can indeed carry the cover on his back, especially when he is traveling by bicycle, scooter or scooter, because he can then release his hands to handle the handlebars.

According to a second embodiment, the holding member comprises a rod provided with an end portion. This end portion can adopt a first configuration allowing the insertion of the holding member into the opening of the junction of the hanger and a second configuration, making it possible to prevent the withdrawal of the holding member from the opening of the hanger junction.

Such a system makes it possible to secure the hangers by simply switching between two configurations of the holding device. Advantageously, the holding member has dimensions greater than those of the opening of the upper wall of the cover and the holding member cannot fall into the cover through the opening of the upper wall. The upper portion of the hangers is thus held out of the cover thanks to the holding device and the hangers cannot fall back into the cover.

According to a third embodiment, the cover has two additional through openings allowing the passage of the holding member, so that the holding member successively passes through a first through opening to enter the within the cover, the opening formed at the upper level of said junction of the hanger and the second through opening to come out of the cover.

In practice, the through openings can be located on the front and rear walls opposite the opening made at the upper level of the handlebar junction.

Alternatively, the through openings can also be located on the top wall.

This solution advantageously makes it possible not to have to bring out the upper portion of the hangers of the cover to secure the hangers. Indeed, the through opening of the hangers is accessible through the openings of the front and rear walls. Thus, the holding device and the hangers are better protected from bad weather and other external attacks that could damage them.

Advantageously, the cover comprises attachment means on the front or rear wall making it possible to fold the lower portion of the cover over the upper portion of the cover to adapt its height.

In practice, these attachment means comprise an eyelet configured to be crossed by the holding member. Thus, the cover can be folded back on itself and held by the holding member at the same time that the latter fulfills its function of holding the hangers.

The cover thus adapts to the height of the clothes contained therein. It is also possible to adapt the height of the cover so that it does not drag on the ground when it is stored or transported.

According to one characteristic, the cover comprises means for closing the lower opening. Closing the bottom opening helps secure clothes in the cover when transporting. Indeed, if a garment slips from its hanger, it cannot slip out of the cover and fall to the ground. In addition, these closure means also allow the cover to be used as a laundry bag. The “pele mixes” clothes are thus secured in the bag during transport. Advantageously, the cover comprises a handle, fixed to a wall of the cover, making it possible to attach an identification device, and in particular the ticket acting as an invoice for the laundry service. The ticket can for example be stapled to the cover by wrapping the ticket around the handle and stapling it on itself. The handle thus allows easy access to the information contained on the ticket. Furthermore, it is easy to attach and remove the ticket, unlike the plastic pouches used conventionally, which deteriorate rapidly, make the insertion and removal of the ticket more complex, and induce an overall waste of time.

Detailed description of embodiments:

As illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, the device according to the invention comprises a cover

10000, 2000, 8000 and at least one hanger 101, 201, 301, 401, 501, 601, 801.

The cover 10000, 2000, 8000 comprises a front wall 120, 220, 820 and a rear wall 110, 210, 810 that are substantially rectangular. The front 120, 220, 820 and rear 110, 210 walls are bonded together at the side edges. To do this, the front 120, 220, 820 and rear 110, 210, 810 walls can be connected directly to each other by sewing, heat sealing or gluing with glue or adhesive. As a variant, the front 120, 220, 820 and rear 110, 210, 810 walls can be connected indirectly by the addition of side walls 130, 230, 830 which can also take the form of bellows, in order to increase the capacity of the cover.

The cover preferably has a top wall 140, 240, 840 to form a flat upper area of the cover. Alternatively, the front 120, 220, 820 and rear 110, 210, 810 walls are directly connected together by sewing, heat sealing or gluing.

The cover 1000, 2000, 8000 has an opening 150, 250, 850 to allow clothing to be inserted into the cover 1000, 2000, 8000. Preferably, this opening 150, 250, 850 is located opposite the wall upper 140, 240, 840 to facilitate the insertion of the garments 103, 203. Alternatively, the opening 150, 250, 850 can be provided in one of the walls of the cover, typically on the front wall 120, 220, 820 or rear 110, 210, 810 or on a side wall 130, 230, 830.

The cover 1000, 2000, 8000 is preferably made of a material that is resistant to washing and preferably waterproof. By way of example, the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 can be made of non-woven polypropylene, polyester or coated fabric, typically with a thickness of between 0.1 and 2 mm. The cover 1000, 2000, 8000 has a height between 80 and 200 cm, a width between 30 and 80 cm and a thickness between 1 and 40 cm.

The cover 1000, 2000, 8000 can also have means making it possible to close the opening 150, 250, 850 of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 in order to protect the clothes contained in the cover 1000, 2000, 8000.

These means are for example a tightening cord, not shown in the figures, inserted into a hem sewn on the periphery of the opening 150, 250, 850 of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000. When the cord is pulled, the opening is tightened to close opening 150, 250, 850.

As a variant, the means making it possible to close the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 are for example buttons, press studs or a zipper.

These means also make it possible to use the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 as a bag for receiving used clothes 103, 203. These do not need to be hung on hangers. They can be inserted into the 1000, 2000, 8000 cover from the 150, 250, 850 opening. The 1000, 2000, 8000 cover is then closed and can be transported to or from the laundry.

The cover 1000, 2000, 8000 may also have means for adjusting the height of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 to adapt it to the size of the clothes 103, 203 hanging inside. To do this, the lower part of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 can be folded and folded over the upper part of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000. The means for adjusting the height of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 thus allow to fix the lower part of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 on the upper part of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000.

By way of example, these means are pressures, the female/male portion of which is arranged at the level of the lower part of the front wall 120, 220, 820 or rear wall 110, 210, 810 of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 while the complementary male/female portion 121, 221, 122, 222 is arranged on the front 120, 220, 820 or rear 110, 210, 810 wall at the height where you want to fold the lower part of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000. According to a variant, the means making it possible to adjust the height of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 are for example buttons or zippers arranged on the side edges of the front 120, 220, 820 and/or rear 110, 210 walls, 810.

Advantageously, as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the front wall 120, 220 or rear wall 110, 210 comprises a handle 125, 225 in the form of a strip with a width of between 0.5 and 3 cm and with a length of between 5 and 30 cm, typically made of the same material as the cover 1000, 2000. The ends of the handle 125, 225 are preferably fixed by gluing or sewing to the front wall 120, 220 and/ or rear 110, 210 of the cover 1000, 2000. Thus, it is possible to attach a ticket 126, 226 comprising information on the contents of the cover 1000, 2000, and/or on the customer for whom the cover is intended 1000, 2000. Preferably, the ticket 126, 226 is stapled to the handle 125, 225. To do this, as shown in Figure 9, the upper portion of the ticket 326 is folded around the handle 325, then the ticket is stapled 327 to itself, thus forming a loop around the handle 325. This method thus makes it possible not to damage the handle 325.

As illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, the upper wall 140, 240, 840 of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 is provided with at least one opening 141, 241, 841 formed, preferably, in the center of the wall upper 140, 240, 840. The opening 141, 241, 841 can for example have a rectangular, oblong, round or oval shape. The opening 141, 241, 841 has for example a diameter of 1 to 5 cm. Preferably, the largest dimension of the opening 141, 241, 841 is oriented perpendicular to the width of the upper wall 140, 240, 840 to allow the alignment of several hangers according to the thickness of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 as illustrated in Figure 6. As a variant, the cover may have several openings aligned in the direction perpendicular to the width of the upper wall 140, 240, 840. Several openings of smaller dimensions make it possible to limit the weakness of the fabric against the tearing and deformation. They also make it possible to group the hangers into “bundles”, the heads of which pass through one or other of the openings. Preferably, as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the periphery of the opening 141, 241 is reinforced, by the presence of an additional thickness of fabric or by the presence of an eyelet 142, 242, by example made of plastic or metal.

The garments 103, 203, hung on hangers 101, 201, are inserted into the cover 1000, 2000 from the opening 150, 250 so that the hook 102, 202 of the hanger 101, 201 as well as the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 101, 201 protrudes from opening 141, 241.

To do this, the hook 102, 202 is inserted into the opening 141, 241 of the upper wall 140, 240 by a tilting movement which follows the shape of the hook 102, 202. Thus, the opening 141, 241 is dimensioned so that the hook 102, 202 can be inserted and uninserted by this same tilting movement, but cannot fall into the cover 1000, 2000 once inserted. In fact, the opening 141, 241 is preferably narrower than the width of the hook 102, 202. Alternatively, the opening 141, 241 is preferably narrower than the width of the shoulders of the hanger 101, 201 so that it it cannot be torn out of the cover 1000, 2000.

By way of example, as illustrated in FIG. 6, the opening 541 is round in shape, with a diameter D. The periphery of the opening 541 is reinforced by an eyelet 542 with a thickness of between 1 and 3 mm. This arrangement allows the passage of the upper portion of a hanger 501. For this purpose, the opening 541 is dimensioned to allow the passage of the hook 502 and to allow the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 501 to protrude over a height between 1 and 5 cm. In this configuration, the shoulder junction of hanger 501 has an opening 508 which also protrudes from opening 541.

As illustrated in Figure 7, the opening 641 can also be oblong in shape, of width D. The periphery of the opening 641 is reinforced by an eyelet 642 with a thickness of between 1 and 3 mm. This arrangement allows the passage of the upper portion of several hangers 601, aligned in a direction perpendicular to the width D. For this purpose, the opening 641 is dimensioned to allow the passage of the hooks 602 and to allow the junction of the shoulders of the hangers 601 to exceed on a height between 1 and 5 cm. In this configuration, the hanger shoulder junction 601 has an opening 608 which also protrudes from the opening 641.

The cover 1000, 2000, 8000 also comprises a holding member 104, 204 making it possible to hold the upper portion of the hangers 101, 201 out of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 thus securing the hangers 101, 201 to prevent them from falling back into the cover 1000, 2000, 8000.

In the embodiment of Figures 1 to 3, the holding member is a band 104, 204, 804 with a width between 0.5 and 3 cm and a length between 20 and 120 cm, typically made in the same material as the cover 1000, 2000, 8000. One end of the strip 104, 204, 804 is attached to the upper wall 140, 240 of the cover 1000, 2000, 8000 or to the upper portion of a side wall 130, 230, 830 or of the front 120, 220, 820 or rear 110, 210, 810 wall. The opposite free end of the strip 104, 204, 804 is intended to pass through an opening made at the junction of shoulders of hangers 101, 201, 801.

More specifically, as illustrated in Figures 5 and 8, the strip 404, 706 is sized to be able to penetrate the opening 408, 708, which in the configuration of Figures 5 and 8, corresponds to the triangular portion formed at the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 401, 701. Alternatively, the hanger can have a shape similar to the hanger 301 of FIG. 4 and the opening in which the band 404 passes can correspond to a through hole 308. hangers 301, 401, 701 pulling on strip 404 has the effect of bringing hangers 301, 401 together. In order to prevent strip 404 from disengaging from opening 308, 408 of hangers 301, 401, the end free of the strip 404 can be tied or a clasp, wider than the opening 308, 408, can be inserted on the strip 404. As illustrated in Figure 8, the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 701 preferably comprises two shoulders 743 to accommodate a shirt collar or a hood. The junction of the shoulders of the hanger 701 then forms the opening 708. The latter is preferably elongated in shape to be able to protrude by 1 to 5 cm from the cover 300 and thus allow the insertion of the holding member 706.

Alternatively, as shown in Figure 3, the strip 804 can also cross the cover 8000 to be engaged in the opening of the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 801. To this end, the cover 8000 has a through opening 805 provided on each front 820 and rear 810 wall of the cover 8000. Alternatively, through openings 805 are provided on the upper wall 840. They are preferably aligned with the opening 841 allowing to show the head of the hangers 801. Preferably, the openings 805 are distant from the opening 841 allowing the heads of the hangers 801 to be shown by a length of between 5 and 10 cm. The through openings 805 can be slots or alternatively circular shaped openings with a diameter of between 1 and 3 cm. The through openings 805 are preferably reinforced by the presence of an eyelet. Thus, the strip 804 crosses a first opening 805. This opening 805 is generally located opposite the opening of the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 801 in order to facilitate the insertion of the strip 804. After having crossed the opening of the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 801, the strip 804 is inserted, from the inside of the cover 8000, through the second opening 305. The strip 804 which emerges can then be taken in hand to transport the cover 8000, while maintaining the head of the hangers out of the 8000 cover.

In other embodiments not shown, the holding member may be in the form of a cord or the like, that is to say a member having a section which is not flat, but more bulging , and in particular of substantially circular outline.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the means making it possible to adjust the height of the cover 8000 are a through opening 851 located at the level of the lower part of the front 820 or rear wall 810. The opening 851 is typically reinforced by the presence of a carnation. The lower part of the cover 8000 can thus be folded down so as to make a through opening 805 of the upper part of the cover 8000 coincide with the through opening 851 of the lower part of the cover 8000. The band 804 thus passes through the openings 805, the hanger shoulder junction opening 801 and the through opening 851.

Alternatively, as shown in Figure 4, the holding member 304 may include a rod 307, with a length between 10 and 20 cm and a width between 0.5 and 1.5 cm. Typically, rod 307 can be parallelepipedic or cylindrical. One end 305 of the rod 307 is advantageously connected to the upper wall of the cover so as not to lose the retaining member 304. The opposite end has a terminal portion 306 that can move between two positions. By way of example, the terminal portion 306 is a terminal rod 306 with a length of between 2 and 5 cm fixed at the level of an axis 309 of rotation, integral with the rod 307. Thus, the terminal rod 306 can enter in rotation around the axis 309 to adopt two positions. In a first position, the terminal rod 306 is parallel to the rod 307. For example, the terminal rod 306 can then be positioned in a housing formed in the rod 307. The terminal rod 306 then does not interfere with the insertion of the holding member 304 in the opening 308 of the hangers 301. In the second position, the terminal rod 306 can be turned a quarter turn to position itself perpendicular to the rod 307, as shown in Figure 4. The terminal rod 306 then prevents the withdrawal of the retaining member 304 from the opening 308 of the hangers 301 because its length is greater than the dimensions provided by the opening 308 of the hangers 301. The rod 307 then makes it possible to bring the hangers 301 and prevent them from falling back into the cover. In the embodiment of Figure 4, the junction of the shoulders of the hanger 301 protrudes from the shoulders by 5 to 7 cm to allow, on the one hand, the opening 308 to protrude from the cover, and on the other hand, to accommodate the presence of a shirt collar or a hood, without interfering with the insertion of the holding member 304 into the opening 308.

The combined action of the opening of the upper wall of the cover and of the holding member therefore makes it possible, at the same time, to gather the hangers contained in the cover, and to prevent them from falling back into the latter.

As illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the holding member 104, 204 can also have an additional function of gripping member.

Indeed, as shown in Figure 1, the holding member 104 may include attachment means for folding the end of the holding member 104 on itself to form a handle 105. A user will thus be able to transport the cover 1000 by hand, in its cover configuration and in its bag configuration.

As a variant, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the end of the retaining member 204 can be folded over the front 220 or rear 210 wall and be attached thereto via means attachment 223, typically a button, snap or loop, to form a strap. A user can thus carry the cover 2000 on his back.

To conclude, the invention advantageously makes it possible to develop a cover making it possible to secure the clothing contained in the cover and to facilitate its transport.

Claims

1. Transport and storage device for clothing comprising:

- at least one hanger (101, 201, 301, 401, 501, 601, 801) having an upper portion including the hook and the junction of the shoulders of the hanger, said upper portion comprising at least one through opening, and
