前記第2ハウジングに形成され、前記第1ハウジングと前記第1フレキシブルケーブルを貫通することによって前記第1ハウジングと前記第1フレキシブルケーブルとを位置決めする第2ボスピンと、を備えている。
最初に本開示の実施形態を列記して説明する。
本開示のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタは、
(1)第1ハウジングと、前記第1ハウジングに積層される第2ハウジングと、前記第1ハウジングに取り付けた第1端子金具に接続される第1フレキシブルケーブルと、前記第2ハウジングに取り付けた第2端子金具に接続される第2フレキシブルケーブルと、前記第1ハウジングに形成され、前記第2ハウジングと前記第2フレキシブルケーブルを貫通することによって前記第2ハウジングと前記第2フレキシブルケーブルとを位置決めする第1ボスピンと、前記第2ハウジングに形成され、前記第1ハウジングと前記第1フレキシブルケーブルを貫通することによって前記第1ハウジングと前記第1フレキシブルケーブルとを位置決めする第2ボスピンとを備えている。本開示の構成によれば、第1ボスピンは、第2ハウジングと第2フレキシブルケーブルを位置決めする機能と、第1ハウジングと第2ハウジングを位置決めする機能とを兼ね備えている。第2ボスピンは、第1ハウジングと第1フレキシブルケーブルを位置決めする機能と、第1ハウジングと第2ハウジングを位置決めする機能とを兼ね備えている。1つのボスピンが2つの位置決め機能を兼ね備えているので、第1ハウジングと第2ハウジングの形状を簡素化することができる。
[実施例1]
本開示のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタを具体化した実施例1を、図1~図9を参照して説明する。なお、本発明はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、請求の範囲によって示され、請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれる。本実施例1において、前後の方向については、図1~3,5における斜め左下方、図4,6における斜め左上方、及び図7,8における左方を、前方と定義する。上下の方向については、図1~9にあらわれる向きを、そのまま上方、下方と定義する。上下方向と高さ方向を同義で用いる。左右方向と幅方向を同義で用いる。
本発明は、上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、請求の範囲によって示される。本発明には、請求の範囲と均等の意味及び請求の範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれ、下記のような実施形態も含まれる。
上記実施例1では、第1フレキシブルケーブルを、第1ハウジングのうち第1ボスピンとは反対側の面に配置したが、第1フレキシブルケーブルを第1ボスピンと同じ側の面に配置してもよい。
上記実施例1では、第2フレキシブルケーブルを、第2ハウジングのうち第2ボスピンとは反対側の面に配置したが、第2フレキシブルケーブルを第2ボスピンと同じ側の面に配置してもよい。
上記実施例1では、第1接続端部の一部のみと第2接続端部の一部のみが、幅方向において互いに異なる領域に配置されているが、第1接続端部の全体と第2接続端部の全体とが、幅方向において互いに異なる領域に配置されていてもよく、第1接続端部の全体と第2接続端部の全体が、幅方向において同じ位置に配置されていてもよい。
上記実施例1では、第1フレキシブルケーブルに一対の第1接続端部が形成されているが、第1接続端部は1つだけであってもよい。
上記実施例1では、第1接続端部がロックアームを挟むように配置されているが、第1接続端部の少なくとも一部が、ロックアームと重なるように配置されていてもよい。
上記実施例1では、アウタハウジングに窓孔を形成したが、アウタハウジングは、窓孔を有しないものであってもよい。
上記実施例1では、保持部が第1ハウジングと第2ハウジングを挟む状態で窓孔に第1ボスピンと第2ボスピンが嵌合されるが、保持部が第1ハウジングと第2ハウジングを挟む状態で、窓孔に第1ボスピンと第2ボスピンが嵌合されないようにしてもよい。
上記実施例1では、第1モジュールと第2モジュールとの2つのモジュールのみで構成されているが、3つ以上のモジュールを積層してもよい。

- 第1ハウジングと、
前記第1ハウジングに積層される第2ハウジングと、
前記第1ハウジングに取り付けた第1端子金具に接続される第1フレキシブルケーブルと、
前記第2ハウジングに取り付けた第2端子金具に接続される第2フレキシブルケーブルと、
前記第1ハウジングに形成され、前記第2ハウジングと前記第2フレキシブルケーブルを貫通することによって前記第2ハウジングと前記第2フレキシブルケーブルとを位置決めする第1ボスピンと、
前記第2ハウジングに形成され、前記第1ハウジングと前記第1フレキシブルケーブルを貫通することによって前記第1ハウジングと前記第1フレキシブルケーブルとを位置決めする第2ボスピンと、を備えているフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタ。 - 前記第1フレキシブルケーブルは、前記第1ハウジングのうち前記第1ボスピンとは反対側の面に沿うように配置され、
前記第2フレキシブルケーブルは、前記第2ハウジングのうち前記第2ボスピンとは反対側の面に沿うように配置されている請求項1に記載のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタ。 - 前記第1フレキシブルケーブルは、前記第1端子金具と接続するための第1接続端部を有し、
前記第2フレキシブルケーブルは、前記第2端子金具と接続するための第2接続端部を有し、
前記第1接続端部には前記第2ボスピンが貫通され、
前記第2接続端部には前記第1ボスピンが貫通され、
前記第1ハウジングと前記第2ハウジングの積層方向と直交する幅方向において、前記第1接続端部の少なくとも一部と、前記第2接続端部の少なくとも一部とが、互いに異なる領域に配置されている請求項1又は請求項2に記載のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタ。 - 前記第1ハウジングと前記第2ハウジングを積層状態で収容するアウタハウジングを備えており、
前記アウタハウジングの前記幅方向における中央部には、ロックアームが形成され、
前記第1ハウジングには、前記ロックアームとの干渉を回避する切欠部が形成され、
一対の前記第1接続端部が、前記幅方向において前記ロックアームを挟むように配置されている請求項3に記載のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタ。 - 前記第1ハウジングと前記第2ハウジングを積層状態で収容するアウタハウジングを備えており、
前記アウタハウジングの外面には、前記第1ボスピンと前記第2ボスピンを露出させる窓孔が形成されている請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタ。 - 前記アウタハウジングには、前記第1ハウジングと前記第2ハウジングの積層方向に揺動可能であり、前記第1フレキシブルケーブルと前記第2フレキシブルケーブルを挟んだ状態に保持する保持部が形成され、
前記保持部に前記窓孔が形成され、
前記保持部が前記第1フレキシブルケーブルと前記第2フレキシブルケーブルを挟む状態では、前記窓孔に前記第1ボスピンと前記第2ボスピンが嵌合される請求項5に記載のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタ。 - 前記第1ハウジングと前記第2ハウジングは、前記第1ハウジングと前記第2ハウジングを積層状態に保持するための係止部を有している請求項5又は請求項6に記載のフレキシブルケーブル用コネクタ。
