- the opening area of the port 60 is set smaller than the area of the bottom wall 42A of the speaker frame 42 to which the port 60 is connected, so that the air in the first space C1 on the back side of the diaphragm 44 is is an air spring, the air in the port 60 resonates.
- the resonance point (resonance frequency) of the port 60 is changed according to the length of the port 60. Therefore, by adjusting the length of the port 60, it is possible to change the resonance point of the port 60 and intentionally adjust the sound pressure of the sound reproduced by the speaker device 10 in a predetermined frequency band.
- the tip side of the port 60 can be arranged in the closed cross-section portion 30, there are few restrictions due to the structure of the vehicle in terms of securing the installation space, and the length of the port 60 can be easily adjusted. can be adjusted. As a result, the reproduced sound of the speaker device 10 can be adjusted with a simple structure.
- the tip of the port 60 is arranged within the closed cross-section portion 30, the length of the port 60 can be adjusted according to the variation of the sealing property within the closed cross-section portion 30, thereby intentionally increasing the speaker device 10. sound pressure of the reproduced sound can be adjusted to a predetermined frequency band.
- the tip portion 60A of the port 60 is arranged inside the vehicle with respect to the reinforcement member 26 (or waterproof panel) interposed between the cowl side panel 22 and the front fender panel 14 . Therefore, since the port 60 can be attached at a position that does not interfere with the reinforcing and waterproof structure inside the closed cross-section portion 30 , the speaker device can be easily attached to the frame of the vehicle 12 .
- the cowl side panel 22 is formed with through holes 23 through which harnesses connected to electrical components are inserted.
- a waterproof design is generally provided to cope with submersion of the vehicle. Therefore, even if the vehicle-side opening 28 through which the port 60 is inserted is formed in the cowl side panel 22, the waterproof performance in the closed cross-section portion 30 can be ensured. As a result, since the speaker device 10 does not need to be designed to be waterproof, the degree of freedom in designing the speaker device 10 can be increased.
- the mounting legs 62 provided integrally with the port 60 extend from the end of the port 60 on the connection side with the speaker frame 42 to the side of the cowl side panel 22 on the inner side of the vehicle compartment R of the vehicle 12 . extends to Therefore, since the mounting legs 62 of the port 60 extend from the vicinity of the center of gravity of the speaker device 10, the mounting of the speaker device 10 can be stabilized.
- the speaker device is attached to the cowl side panel 22 and arranged inside the front fender panel 14 of the vehicle.
- the speaker device 10 can be arranged at the corner portion on the front end side of the passenger compartment R, which has relatively little influence on the passenger compartment R space of the vehicle 12 .
- sound can be output from the front side of the listener (occupant of the vehicle), the distance between the diaphragm of the speaker and the listener can be shortened, and the required sound pressure level can be lowered.
- the inner panel and outer panel according to the present invention are composed of the cowl side panel and the front fender panel, but the present invention is not limited to this.
- the inner panel and the outer panel forming the closed cross-section may be composed of the inner panel and the outer panel of a pillar forming the frame member of the vehicle.
- the outer panel of the present invention may be used as the rear fender panel of the vehicle, and the inner panel may be used as the frame member of the vehicle arranged inside the vehicle of the rear fender panel.
- the speaker frame 42 is configured to be connectable to the port 60 by inserting the port connection portion 42C into one end of the port 60, but the present invention is not limited to this.
- the port connecting portion 42C and the port 60 may be integrally formed.
