Definitions
- the invention relates to a particle filter for producing a disinfectant, a kit, the use of the particle filter or the kit for protection against harmful and/or toxic aerosols and a method of use.
- Particle filters are filters that protect people from pollutants by cleaning the air they breathe, in particular from particles such as viruses, bacteria or dust and pollen. Viruses or bacteria in the form of droplets or aerosols are combined with other particles, such as saliva or suspended matter, and form so-called conglomerates which are transmitted through the air. Particulate filters are used in particular as mask filters or room air filters.
- MNS mouth and nose protection
- the filter is replaced or disposed of.
- some filters can be disinfected by air drying for at least 72 hours, heat treatment or UV (ultraviolet) radiation to kill viruses and bacteria.
- CN 103768871 A describes a functional composite air filter element comprising a three-layer filter layer, the first layer removing contaminants in the form of large particles, the second layer being an adsorption layer for removing pollutants and toxic gases in the form of small particles and the third layer being a germicidal layer for removing viruses and bacteria.
- the adsorption layer is sandwiched between the large particle filter layer and the germicidal layer.
- the adsorption layer is made of activated carbon fibers and the germicidal layer is made of UV ray-transmitting optical fibers.
- 8,529,830 B2 describes possibilities for air disinfection, in particular absorption filters, electrostatic absorption, high-energy ion sterilization and purification, ultraviolet sterilization and purification, photocatalytic sterilization and purification, and plasma sterilization.
- US Pat. No. 8,529,830 B2 describes a device for the plasma sterilization of air, comprising a plasma reactor and two air filters.
- DE 10 2008 010 862 A1 discloses a filter system having at least one adsorbing area through which air can flow and which binds pollutants on its surface, and adjacent to the adsorbing area a second absorbing area in which pollutants can be stored and stored permanently, in particular an electrically heatable fleece for adsorption purposes, the electrode arrangement being selected in such a way that a current flows within the electrode (resistance heating) and the filter is thus regenerated.

Description
