Description
前記ワンウェイクラッチは、前記入力部材の内周面に直接または他の部材を介して備えられた外径側係合面と、前記ケース部材の外周面に直接または他の部材を介して備えられた内径側係合面と、前記外径側係合面と前記内径側係合面との間に配置された係合子とを有することができる。
図1~図5は、本発明の実施の形態の第1例を示している。図1は、本例の差動装置1を組み込んだ電気自動車用駆動装置2を示している。電気自動車用駆動装置2は、駆動モータ3の出力トルクを動力伝達機構4により増大してから、差動装置1に伝達し、差動装置1によって、1対のドライブシャフト5に分配する。これにより、1対のドライブシャフト5の先端部に、図示しないサスペンションを介して支持された駆動輪6が回転駆動される。
車両を前進させるべく、シフトレバーをDレンジやLレンジなどの前進走行レンジに切り換えた状態では、電動モータ43への通電に基づいて、クラッチ装置13を切断する。この状態で、運転者によるアクセルの操作などに基づいて、駆動モータ3から、車両を前進させる方向のトルクが出力されると、このトルクは、図4に示す経路を通って、1対のドライブシャフト5に伝達される。
シフトレバーが前進走行レンジに切り換えられ、かつ、クラッチ装置13が切断された状態での、車両の高速巡航中に、コースティング走行やセーリング走行などと呼ばれる惰性走行を行うべく、アクセルをオフして、駆動モータ3から入力部材8へのトルクの入力がなくなると、入力部材8の正転方向への回転速度が低下し、ケース部材9の正転方向への回転速度よりも遅くなる。すなわち、入力部材8がケース部材9に対して逆転方向に相対回転する。この結果、ワンウェイクラッチ10がオーバーラン状態に切り換わって、ケース部材9が、入力部材8に対して空転可能になる。要するに、1対の駆動輪6が、動力伝達機構4および駆動モータ3から切り離されて、惰性走行が可能になる。
車両を後進させるべく、シフトレバーをRレンジ、すなわち後進走行レンジに切り換えた状態では、電動モータ43への通電に基づいて、クラッチ装置13を接続して、入力部材8とケース部材9とを一体的に回転可能とする。この状態で、運転者によるアクセルの操作などに基づいて、駆動モータ3から、車両を後進させる方向のトルクが出力されると、このトルクは、図5に示す経路を通って、1対のドライブシャフト5に伝達される。
図6および図7は、本発明の実施の形態の第2例を示している。本例の差動装置1aでは、入力部材8aに、ワンウェイクラッチ10に潤滑剤を供給するための油穴63を設けている。油穴63は、側板部に相当する軸方向他側の接続部16bの周方向1または複数箇所を軸方向に貫通するように備えられている。本例では、油穴63は、接続部16bの周方向等間隔8箇所に備えられている。

前記ケース部材の中心軸に直交する軸を中心とする回転を可能に、前記ケース部材に対し支持された少なくとも1個のピニオンギヤと、
前記入力部材の中心軸と同軸に、前記入力部材および前記ケース部材に対する相対回転を可能に支持され、かつ、前記ピニオンギヤと噛合する1対のサイドギヤと、
