Abstract

Es wird ein Lattenrost (100) zum Stützen einer Matratze beschrieben. Der Lattenrost weist ein Stützgestell (104), welches eine Stützfläche zum Abstützen der Matratze bereitstellt; und einen Lattenrostrahmen (102) zum Abstützen des Stützgestells (104) auf, wobei das Stützgestell (104) zumindest teilweise in dem Lattenrostrahmen (102) aufgenommen ist und über wenigstens eine Verbindungsvorrichtung (106) mit dem Lattenrostrahmen (102) verbunden ist. Das Stützgestell (104) weist eine Mehrzahl von quer zu einer Längsachse des Lattenrosts (100) verlaufenden Querstreben (108) auf, welche ein Kopfteil (110), ein Mittelteil (112) und ein Fußteil (114) des Stützgestells (104) ausbilden, wobei eines oder mehrere des Kopfteils (110), des Mittelteils (112) und des Fußteils (114) über die wenigstens eine Verbindungsvorrichtung (106) um eine quer zur Längsachse des Lattenrosts (100) verlaufende Schwenkachse schwenkbar gelagert sind, und wobei die Mehrzahl von Querstreben (108) derart dimensioniert sind und derart voneinander beabstandet sind, dass die Querstreben wenigstens 70%, insbesondere wenigstens 80%, der durch das Stützgestell (104) bereitgestellten Stützfläche überdecken.
