Abstract
Description
図1または図2に示すように、持続投与装置100は、概説すると、本体部10と、液体透過部20と、押圧部30と、栓体40と、放出部50と、を備える。また、持続投与装置100は、本体部10の内腔11の内周面と栓体40の外周面との間には、栓体40の初期摺動抵抗および常用摺動抵抗を低減させるための摺動性固体被覆層60を有する。
さらに、第2のシリコーン系化合物として、アミノアルキルアルコキシシランを用いてもよい。アミノアルキルアルコキシシランとしては、3-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、3-(2-アミノエチル)アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-(2-アミノエチル)アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-フェニルアミノプロピルトリメトキシシランなどが好適である。
次に、本実施形態に係る持続投与装置100の動作例について図3A~図3Dを参照して説明する。
以上説明したように、本実施形態に係る持続投与装置100は、内腔11を有する筒状の本体部10と、内腔11内を液密に摺動可能な栓体40と、内腔11において栓体40よりも上流側に配置され、栓体40を下流側へ押圧する押圧部30と、内腔11において栓体40よりも下流側に収納され、栓体40の下流側への摺動によって生体内に放出される投与物Xと、を備え、投与物Xを持続的に徐放するために生体内に留置される装置である。この持続投与装置100は、少なくとも、栓体40の外表面または内腔11における栓体40の摺動領域のいずれか一方に、シリコーン系樹脂組成物またはフッ素系樹脂フィルムからなり、栓体40の初期摺動抵抗および常用摺動抵抗を低減させるための摺動性固体被覆層60を有する。
評価試験1では、潤滑剤として一般的に適用され得るシリコーンオイルと、前述した本実施形態に係る摺動性固体被覆層に適用可能なシリコーン系樹脂組成物およびフッ素系樹脂フィルムとの初期摺動抵抗および常用摺動抵抗の比較を行った。
試験機器は、引張・圧縮試験機「EZ-test(島津製作所株式会社製)」を使用した。本体部は、ピーク(突出部に相当)を有するガスケット(栓体に相当)を備えた1mlシリンジ「PLAJEXルアーロックタイプ(テルモ株式会社製)」を、針を未装着の状態で使用した。
表1に示すように、実施例1、実施例2および比較例1を速度1で摺動させた場合、実施例1と実施例2の初期摺動抵抗は、比較例1の初期摺動抵抗よりも小さく、常用摺動抵抗についても比較例1よりも小さかった。実施例1、実施例2および比較例1を速度2で摺動させた場合、実施例1と実施例2の初期摺動抵抗は、比較例1の初期摺動抵抗より小さく、常用摺動抵抗についても比較例1より小さかった。一方で、実施例1、実施例2および比較例1を速度3で摺動させた場合、実施例1と実施例2の初期摺動抵抗は、比較例1の初期摺動抵抗よりも小さく、常用摺動抵抗は、比較例1よりも高かった。
評価試験2では、潤滑剤として一般的に適用され得るシリコーンオイルと、前述した本実施形態に係る摺動性固体被覆層に適用可能なシリコーン系樹脂組成物およびフッ素系樹脂フィルムとを栓体(ガスケット)に塗布したときの栓体の摺動開始時間の比較を行った。
本体部となる容器サンプルは、試験1で使用したシリンジと同仕様のものを使用した。シリンジのガスケットの外表面を被覆する潤滑剤は、本実施形態に係る摺動性固体被覆層に適用可能なシリコーン系樹脂組成物「i-coating(テルモ株式会社製)」を実施例1とし、本実施形態に係る摺動性固体被覆層に適用可能なフッ素樹脂系フィルムを実施例2として使用した。また、比較例1として、シリコーンオイル「360メディカルフルイド12500(東レ・ダウコーニング株式会社製)」を使用した。なお、比較例1については、シリコーンオイルの課題となる固着状態を再現するため、苛酷条件(60℃で1週間)で保存した。
表2に示すように、実施例1および実施例2におけるガスケットの摺動開始時間(実施例1:44.5分、実施例2:54.8分)は、いずれも比較例1の摺動開始時間(140.9分)と比べて約1/3程度に短縮された。以上のことから、実施例1および実施例2は、比較例1よりも初期摺動抵抗を優位に低減することが確認された。したがって、本実施形態に係る摺動性固体被覆層に適用可能な材料であるシリコーン系樹脂組成物およびフッ素系樹脂フィルムは、栓体の初期摺動抵抗を優位に低減させることが証明された。
評価試験3では、潤滑剤として一般的に適用され得るシリコーンオイルと、前述した本実施形態に係る摺動性固体被覆層に適用可能なシリコーン系樹脂組成物の比較を実際の投与装置で使用されるサイズの本体部及びピストン(栓体)を用いて行った。
試験機器は、引張・圧縮試験機「EZ-test(島津製作所株式会社製)」を使用した。本体部は、先端に放出部を備え、外周面にピーク(突出部に相当)を有するガスケット(栓体に相当)を打栓した金属製パイプを使用した。各構成要素の材質および寸法を以下に示す。
・パイプ(材質:64チタン合金、全長45mm、外径4mm、内径3mm)
・ガスケット(材質:塩素化ブチルゴム(CIIR))
・放出部(材質:高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)、流路内径0.15mm、螺旋状流路長さ30mm)
表3に示すように、実施例3および比較例2を速度4で摺動させた場合、実施例3の初期摺動抵抗は、比較例2の初期摺動抵抗よりも小さく、常用摺動抵抗についても比較例2よりも小さかった。

Claims (7)
- 内腔を有する筒状の本体部と、
前記内腔内を液密に摺動可能な栓体と、
前記内腔において前記栓体よりも上流側に配置され、前記栓体を下流側へ押圧する押圧部と、
前記内腔において前記栓体よりも下流側に収納され、前記栓体の下流側への摺動によって生体内に放出される投与物と、を備え、
前記投与物を持続的に徐放するために前記生体内に留置される持続投与装置であって、
少なくとも、前記栓体の外表面または前記内腔における前記栓体の摺動領域のいずれか一方に、前記栓体の初期摺動抵抗および常用摺動抵抗を低減させるための摺動性固体被覆層を有する、持続投与装置。 - 前記摺動性固体被覆層は、シリコーン系樹脂組成物またはフッ素系樹脂フィルムからなる、請求項1に記載の持続投与装置。
- 前記シリコーン系樹脂組成物は、末端シラノール基を有する反応性シリコーンの縮合物からなり前記シラノール基に由来するシロキサン結合を有するシリコーン系樹脂を含有する組成物からなると共に、固体微粒子を含まない、請求項2に記載の持続投与装置。
- 前記シリコーン系樹脂組成物は、更に、シロキサン結合を有する前記シリコーン系樹脂と異なる第2のシリコーン系化合物としてアルキルアルコキシシランを、第3のシリコーン系化合物としてアミノアルキルアルコキシシランを、さらに、第4のシリコーン系化合物としてグリシドキシアルキルアルコキシシランを含有する、請求項3に記載の持続投与装置。
- 前記押圧部は、前記栓体を1mm/min以下で摺動するように押圧する、請求項1に記載の持続投与装置。
- 前記押圧部は、前記栓体を0.01mm/min以下で摺動するように押圧する、請求項1に記載の持続投与装置。
- 前記押圧部は、前記栓体を0.0015mm/min以下で摺動するように押圧する、請求項1に記載の持続投与装置。
