Description

The present invention relates to a saddle-ride type vehicle.
A straddle-type vehicle equipped with a motor-equipped component is conventionally known (see Patent Document 1, for example). Patent Document 1 describes an ABS modulator provided with a motor, and describes a configuration in which the ABS modulator is arranged on a stay extending forward from a head pipe. The ABS modulator is covered by the front cowl.
Japanese Patent No. 6419349
Generally, when a motor operates, a motor sound is emitted. In Patent Document 1, an ABS modulator with a motor is arranged inside a front cowl as a vehicle body exterior cover. In a straddle-type vehicle such as that disclosed in Patent Document 1, the rotating portion of the front fork is covered from above by a front cowl, and a steering stem protrudes from an opening in the upper surface of the front cowl. For this reason, the opening in the upper surface of the front cowl is closed by the steering stem, and it is likely to be covered with a handle cover or the like from above, so that the operating noise of the ABS modulator is unlikely to pose a problem. However, some saddle type vehicles have a front cowl with an opening that opens the range in which the front fork rotates. There is a problem that it may be transmitted.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a saddle-ride type vehicle that has an opening in the upper surface of the front cowl and that can suppress the sound of the motor from echoing outside the front cowl. aim.

The recessed portion 134d prevents the steering system 12 from contacting the rear cover 130 when the steering system 12 is steered to the right. That is, the rear cover 130 bulges rearward only in the portion that covers the second stay 64, thereby ensuring a clearance between the steering system 12 and the rear cover 130 when turning left and right. By providing a concave portion 134d in the rear cover 130 where the stay covering portion 134 is biased leftward to cover the biased pipes 86 to 88, a clearance is secured between the steering system 12 and the rear cover 130 when steering to the right. ing.
FIG. 9 is a perspective view from the left rear showing the wiring relationship between the rear cover 130 and the wire harness 100. As shown in FIG. FIG. 10 is a perspective view from the right rear showing the wiring relationship between the rear cover 130 and the wire harness 100. As shown in FIG.
7, 9, and 10, a cover fixing portion (fastening portion) 135 is formed on the upper portion of the lower right side portion 158 of the rear cover 130 so as to protrude rightward. A right end of the cover fixing portion 135 is formed with a fixing hole 135a penetrating in the left-right direction. The cover fixing portion 135 overlaps the right side portion 115 of the front cover 110 when viewed from the rear of the vehicle (see FIG. 6). An inner cover (curved cover) 161 of the front cowl 50 is fixed to the cover fixing portion 135 .
FIG. 11 is a perspective view of the front portion of the vehicle body as viewed from the lower left, and is a perspective view showing the inner cover 161 of the front cover 34. As shown in FIG.
The inner cover 161 has a curved plate shape. The inner cover 161 is provided with a fixing portion 161 a fixed to the rear cover 130 . The inner cover 161 is fastened to the rear cover 130 by fastening the fixing portion 161a with the fastening member 60a (see FIG. 10). The inner cover 161 also includes a fixing portion 161b fixed to the front cover 34 of the front cowl 50. As shown in FIG. Specifically, the front cover 34 includes a pair of left and right outer covers 162L and 162R (see FIGS. 11 and 9), and the inner cover 161 is fixed to the right outer cover 162R by its fixing portion 161b. Therefore, the inner cover 161 of the present embodiment is fixed and supported by the rear cover 130 and the right outer cover 162R.
A notch-shaped harness wiring portion 161c (see FIG. 9) is provided above the fixing portion 161a. A harness 197 can be routed in the harness routing portion 161c from the outer side to the inner side of the inner cover 161 in the vehicle width direction. A plurality of vertically extending slit holes 161d are formed in the lower portion of the inner cover 161 . The inner cover 161 forms an air guide passage 163 (see FIG. 11) with the outer cover 162R on the right side of the front cowl 50. As shown in FIG.
When the motorcycle 10 is running, running wind enters the lower opening 51b (see FIG. 11) of the space 51 of the front cowl 50 (see FIG. 11). The wind that has entered the opening 51 b can pass through the slit hole 161 d of the inner cover 161 and flow into the air guide passage 163 . Thus, by providing the slit hole 161d and the air guide path 163, the wind flowing in the opening 51b and flowing toward the steering wheel 25 is partially directed outward from the space 51 along the steering system 12. This makes it easier to control the pressure of the running wind that the front cowl 50 receives.
As shown in FIG. 7, a clamp support portion 136 is formed below the cover fixing portion 135 . Clamp support 136 projects rearward from right side 154 . As shown in FIG. 9, the clamp support portion 136 supports a clamp 164 and clamps a harness 197 extending from the harness routing portion 161c. Therefore, harness 197 can be held by rear cover 130 .
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 10, an opening 137 is formed on the left side of the stay covering portion 134 when viewed from the rear of the vehicle. A piece-shaped holding portion 138 projecting forward is formed in the opening portion 137 . The holding portion 138 is formed at the same height as the headlight fastening portion 114c (see FIG. 6). An annular clamp 171 is supported by the holding portion 138 . A branch harness (harness) 101 a of the left harness 101 routed from below the front cover 110 is clamped to the clamp 171 . A connector 172 is provided at the tip of the branch harness 101a. The connector 172 has a rectangular box-like appearance. Connector 172 is positioned behind opening 137 . Branch harness 101 a is led out rearward of front cover 110 from opening 137 , and connector 172 is arranged in an inner box (not shown) attached to front inner cover 35 .
As shown in FIG. 7, the rear cover upper portion 131 is formed with an upper opening (opening portion) 139 penetrating in the thickness direction. A fence 139a is formed in the upper opening 139. As shown in FIG.
Traveling wind enters between the front cover 110 and the rear cover 130 when the motorcycle 10 is running. Due to the upper opening 139 , running wind can easily pass through the upper opening 139 and escape to the rear of the resin cover 98 . In particular, in the front cover 110 and the rear cover 130 of the present embodiment, the rear cover upper portion 131 is in contact with the upper side 121, the left side 123, and the right side 124 of the front cover 110, and is easily sealed. . Therefore, the presence of the upper opening 139 in the vicinity of the upper side 121 makes it easier for the running wind to pass rearward and less likely to stay there.
FIG. 12 is a diagram of the meter 40 and the periphery of the handle 25 viewed from the rear upper side.
As shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 12, the front cover 34 of the front cowl 50 has an upper cover 181. As shown in FIG. The upper cover 181 extends rearward and upward. A rear end portion of the upper cover 181 is bent rearward. The upper cover 181 is formed with a rear surface 182 that extends downward. A plurality of slit holes 182a are formed in the rear surface 182 . Running wind entering the front cowl 50 can escape rearward through the slit holes 182a.
A tubular harness lead-out portion 183 extending in the vertical direction is formed in the upper cover 181 . A harness 103 a connected to the meter 40 is led out from below through the harness lead-out portion 183 . Protruding walls 184 that protrude downward are formed on the left and right sides of the harness lead-out portion 183 .
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 7 , the bent portion 140 of the rear cover upper portion 131 is arranged above the upper side 121 of the front cover 110 . A wall-like cover avoidance portion 141 that protrudes upward is formed in the center portion of the bent portion 140 in the left-right direction. The cover avoidance portion 141 is arranged along the rear side of the harness lead-out portion 183 . Cover projecting walls (protrusions) 142 projecting upward are formed on the left and right sides of the cover avoiding portion 141 . The cover protruding wall 142 is spaced rearward from the protruding wall 184 . The cover projecting wall 142 overlaps the projecting wall 184 of the upper cover 181 in the vertical direction. That is, when viewed from the rear of the vehicle, the cover protruding wall 142 and the protruding wall 184 partially overlap. The cover projecting wall 142 is visible through the slit hole 182a of the upper cover 181, as shown in FIG.
Here, the light from the headlight 44 also travels backward due to reflection or the like. Light traveling backward passes between the upper cover 181 and the resin cover 98 and travels backward, but the light is easily blocked by the cover protruding wall 142 and the protruding wall 184 . Light is also easily blocked by the harness lead-out portion 183 and the cover avoidance portion 141 .
In particular, since the cover protruding wall 142 is spaced rearward from the protruding wall 184, the running wind can pass through, and the light from the headlight 44 is easily blocked while the running wind can easily pass through the slit holes 182a. ing. Therefore, it is difficult for the passenger to see the light through the slit hole 182a.
