Claims (2)
- 画像信号が入力される画像信号入力部と、
前記画像信号入力部に入力された画像信号又は前記画像信号入力部に入力された画像信号に第一の処理を行った第一の処理信号について、所定のガンマ特性を有するように補正するガンマ補正手段と、
前記ガンマ補正手段で補正されたガンマ補正信号又は前記ガンマ補正手段で補正されたガンマ補正信号に第二の処理を行った第二の処理信号について、表示パネルのムラを低減させる補正データに基づいて補正するムラ補正手段と、
前記ムラ補正手段で補正されたムラ補正信号をD/A変換して表示パネルに出力するとともに、出力電圧範囲が可変のD/A変換手段とを備え、
前記ムラ補正手段は、前記D/A変換手段の出力電圧範囲に応じて補正方法を変更することを特徴とするパネル駆動回路。 - 前記ムラ補正手段は、前記出力電圧範囲が基準電圧範囲V0の場合に対応するムラ補正テーブルを有し、
前記出力電圧範囲がV0の場合、前記ガンマ補正信号又は前記第二の処理信号と、前記ガンマ補正信号又は前記第二の処理信号を前記ムラ補正テーブルを参照して補正した差分信号とを加算して前記ムラ補正信号を生成し、
前記出力電圧範囲がV0と異なるVの場合、前記ガンマ補正信号又は前記第二の処理信号と、前記ガンマ補正信号又は前記第二の処理信号に入力係数V/V0を乗じたものを前記ムラ補正テーブルを参照して補正し、その後に出力係数V0/Vを乗じた差分信号とを加算して前記ムラ補正信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパネル駆動回路。
