Description
本発明は、極性油、炭化水素油、シリコーン油、及びポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の混合物中に紫外線散乱剤粒子が分散している組成物、特に化粧料組成物、より特に日焼け止め化粧料組成物に関する。
日焼け止め用化粧料の分野では、紫外線防御剤として、主に紫外線散乱剤粒子が使用されている。このような紫外線散乱剤粒子は、油性媒体中に分散させて配合することが多い。油性媒体としては、一般的に、例えばエステル油や紫外線吸収剤等の極性油、炭化水素油、シリコーン油、又はこれらの組合せを用いることが知られている。
一方で、高いSPF(Sun Protection Factor)を得るために、紫外線散乱剤粒子を多量に油性媒体中に分散させて配合する必要がある。
例えば、特許文献1では、高濃度の酸化チタン粒子を油性媒体中に分散させた分散体が開示されており、より具体的には、炭素数が18以上のエステル油及びポリヒドロキシステアリン酸を含有し、酸化チタン粒子は、有機ケイ素化合物で有機表面被覆されたものであり、酸化チタン粒子が分散体全重量の50.0重量%以上であり、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の量が分散体全重量に対して0.5~8.0重量%であることを特徴とする分散体が開示されている。
より高いSPFを得るために、高濃度の紫外線散乱剤粒子と共に、油性媒体中に、紫外線吸収剤等の極性油を配合することが考えられる。
極性油中で紫外線散乱剤粒子を分散させるための分散剤としては、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸が知られている。しかしながら、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸は、化粧料の使用性を向上させるためのシリコーン油との相性が悪く、したがって、油性媒体中でシリコーン油を用いると、高濃度の紫外線散乱剤粒子をうまく分散できないと考えられていた。
本発明は、上記の事情を改善しようとするものであり、その目的は、良好な使用性を維持しながら、高濃度の紫外線散乱剤粒子の分散性も良好である組成物を提供することである。
上記の目的を達成する本発明は、以下のとおりである。

本発明によれば、良好な使用性を維持しながら、高濃度の紫外線散乱剤粒子の分散性も良好である組成物を提供することができる。
以下、本発明の実施の形態について詳述する。なお、本発明は、以下の実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の本旨の範囲内で種々変形して実施できる。
《組成物》
本発明の組成物は、

本発明者らの鋭意研究によれば、極性油とポリヒドロキシステアリン酸とを併用したうえで、このポリヒドロキシステアリン酸と相性が悪いとされていたシリコーン油を比較的少量のみ用いることによって、高濃度の紫外線散乱剤粒子の分散性が良好である組成物が得られることが見出された。また、本発明の組成物はシリコーン油を含有しているので、使用性も良好である。
なお、本発明において、「高濃度の紫外線散乱剤」とは、本発明の組成物において、特に、極性油、炭化水素油、及びシリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、紫外線散乱剤粒子が、30質量部以上である態様を指す。
また、本発明において、紫外線散乱剤粒子の「分散性」は、本発明の組成物に対してせん断速度をかける場合とかけない場合の粘度の比によって評価することができる。より具体的には、組成物に対して、せん断速度が低い場合の粘度の値を「L」として求め、また、せん断速度が高い場合の粘度の値を「H」として求めたときに、「H/L」の値が大きいほど、分散性が良好であると評価することができる。
また、本発明において、使用性は、本発明の組成物を人肌に塗布した時のべたつきの有無によって、評価することができる。より具体的には、後述する「実施例」の項目を参照してよい。
本発明において、極性油、炭化水素油、及びシリコーン油を合わせて、「油性媒体」とも称する。これによって、例えば、「極性油、炭化水素油、及びシリコーン油の合計100質量部」を、単に「油性媒体の合計100質量部」とも称する。
〈極性油〉
本発明の組成物は、極性油を含む。ここで、「極性油」とは、シリコーン油以外の、化粧料に使用可能な油分の中で極性が高い油分を指し、例えば、IOB値が0.10以上、0.11以上、0.12以上、又は0.13以上のものを指す。また、本発明にかかる極性油のIOB値は、0.50以下、0.45以下、又は0.40以下であってよい。なお、IOB値とは、Inorganic/Organic Balance(無機性/有機性比)の略であって、無機性値の有機性値に対する比率を表す値であり、有機化合物の極性の度合いを示す指標となるものである。IOB値は、具体的には、IOB値=無機性値/有機性値として表される。「無機性値」、「有機性値」のそれぞれについては、例えば、分子中の炭素原子1個について「有機性値」が20、水酸基1個について「無機性値」が100といったように、各種原子又は官能基に応じた「無機性値」、「有機性値」が設定されており、有機化合物中の全ての原子及び官能基の「無機性値」、「有機性値」を積算することによって、当該有機化合物のIOB値を算出することができる(例えば、甲田善生著、「有機概念図-基礎と応用-」、p.11~17、三共出版、1984年発行参照)。
本発明の組成物は、極性油を含む。ここで、「極性油」とは、シリコーン油以外の、化粧料に使用可能な油分の中で極性が高い油分を指し、例えば、IOB値が0.10以上、0.11以上、0.12以上、又は0.13以上のものを指す。また、本発明にかかる極性油のIOB値は、0.50以下、0.45以下、又は0.40以下であってよい。なお、IOB値とは、Inorganic/Organic Balance(無機性/有機性比)の略であって、無機性値の有機性値に対する比率を表す値であり、有機化合物の極性の度合いを示す指標となるものである。IOB値は、具体的には、IOB値=無機性値/有機性値として表される。「無機性値」、「有機性値」のそれぞれについては、例えば、分子中の炭素原子1個について「有機性値」が20、水酸基1個について「無機性値」が100といったように、各種原子又は官能基に応じた「無機性値」、「有機性値」が設定されており、有機化合物中の全ての原子及び官能基の「無機性値」、「有機性値」を積算することによって、当該有機化合物のIOB値を算出することができる(例えば、甲田善生著、「有機概念図-基礎と応用-」、p.11~17、三共出版、1984年発行参照)。
本発明において、極性油は、例えばエステル油、紫外線吸収剤、又はこれらの混合物を含んでよく、より高いSPFを得る観点から、紫外線吸収剤を含むことが好ましい。
本発明の組成物において、極性油は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、10質量部以上かつ70質量部以下である。
本発明の組成物において、極性油が、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、10質量部以上であることは、紫外線散乱剤粒子の分散性の観点から好ましい。また、極性油が、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、70質量部以下であることは、特に、使用性の観点から好ましい。
本発明の効果をより発揮する観点から、本発明の組成物において、極性油は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、10質量部以上、15質量部以上、20質量部以上、25質量部以上、30質量部以上、35質量部以上、40質量部以上、45質量部以上、50質量部以上、又は55質量部以上であってもよく、また70質量部以下、65質量部以下、又は60質量部以下であってよい。

本発明において、極性油として使用されうる紫外線吸収剤の具体例には、安息香酸誘導体、サリチル酸誘導体、ケイ皮酸誘導体、ジベンゾイルメタン誘導体、β,β-ジフェニルアクリラート誘導体、ベンゾフェノン誘導体、ベンジリデンショウノウ誘導体、フェニルベンゾイミダゾール誘導体、トリアジン誘導体、フェニルベンゾトリアゾール誘導体、アントラニル誘導体、イミダゾリン誘導体、ベンザルマロナート誘導体、4,4-ジアリールブタジエン誘導体等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。また、以下にこれらのいくつかの具体例及び商品名等を例示的に説明する。

安息香酸誘導体としては、例えばパラ-アミノ安息香酸(PABA)エチル、エチル-ジヒドロキシプロピルPABA、エチルヘキシル-ジメチルPABA(例えば「エスカロール507」;ISP社製)、グリセリルPABA、PEG-25-PABA(例えば「ユビナールP25」;BASF社製)、及びジエチルアミノヒドロキシベンゾイル安息香酸ヘキシル(例えば「ユビナールAプラス」)等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
サリチル酸誘導体としては、ホモサレート(「ユーソレックス(Eusolex)HMS」;ロナ/EMインダストリーズ社製)、エチルヘキシルサリチレート(例えば「ネオ・ヘリオパン(NeoHeliopan)OS」;ハーマン・アンド・レイマー社製)、ジプロピレングリコールサリチレート(例えば「ディピサル(Dipsal)」;スケル社製)、及びTEAサリチラート(例えば「ネオ・ヘリオパンTS」;ハーマン・アンド・レイマー社製)等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
ケイ皮酸誘導体としては、オクチルメトキシシンナメート(例えば「ユビナールMC80」;BASFジャパン株式会社製)、メトキシケイ皮酸イソプロピル、メトキシケイ皮酸イソアミル(例えば「ネオ・ヘリオパンE1000」; ハーマン・アンド・レイマー社製)、シンノキセート、DEAメトキシシンナメート、メチルケイ皮酸ジイソプロピル、グリセリル-エチルヘキサノエート-ジメトキシシンナメート、及びジ-(2-エチルヘキシル)-4'-メトキシベンザルマロネート等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
ジベンゾイルメタン誘導体としては、4-tert-ブチル-4’-メトキシジベンゾイルメタン(例えば「パルソール1789」)等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
β,β-ジフェニルアクリレート誘導体としては、オクトクリレン(例えば「ユビナールN539」;BASF社製)等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
ベンゾフェノン誘導体としては、ベンゾフェノン-1(例えば「ユビナール400」;BASF社製)、ベンゾフェノン-2(例えば「ユビナールD50」;BASF社製)、ベンゾフェノン-3またはオキシベンゾン(例えば「ユビナールM40」;BASF社製)、ベンゾフェノン-4(例えば「ユビナールMS40」;BASF社製)、ベンゾフェノン-5、ベンゾフェノン-6(例えば「ヘリソーブ(Helisorb)11」;ノルクアイ社)、ベンゾフェノン-8(例えば「スペクトラ-ソーブ(Spectra-Sorb)UV-24」;アメリカン・シアナミド社製)、ベンゾフェノン-9(例えば「ユビナールDS-49」;BASF社製)、及びベンゾフェノン-12等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。

ベンザルマロナート誘導体としては、ベンザルマロナート官能基を有するポリオルガノシロキサン(例えば、ポリシリコーン-15;「パルソールSLX」;DSMニュートリション ジャパン社製)等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
4,4-ジアリールブタジエン誘導体としては、1,1-ジカルボキシ(2,2’-ジメチルプロピル)-4,4-ジフェニルブタジエン等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
本発明において、極性油に含まれる紫外線吸収剤の量は、例えば極性油の合計100質量部に対して、40質量部以上、50質量部以上、60質量部以上、70質量部以上、80質量部以上、又は90質量部以上であってよく、また100質量部以下であってよい。
(エステル油)

本発明において、極性油に含まれるエステル油の量は、例えば極性油の合計100質量部に対して、10質量部以上、20質量部以上、30質量部以上、40質量部以上、50質量部以上、又は60質量部以上であってよく、また100質量部以下であってよい。
〈炭化水素油〉
本発明の組成物は、炭化水素油を含む。ここで、「炭化水素油」は、極性油以外の、炭化水素油を指す。

本発明の組成物において、炭化水素油が、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、1.0質量部以上であることは、特に相溶性の観点から好ましい。また、炭化水素油が、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、60質量部以下であることは、特に、使用性の観点から好ましい。
本発明の効果をより発揮する観点から、本発明の組成物において、炭化水素油は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、1.0質量部以上、5.0質量部以上、10質量部以上、12質量部以上、15質量部以上、17質量部以上、20質量部以上、25質量部以上、30質量部以上、35質量部以上、37質量部以上、40質量部以上、45質量部以上、50質量部以上、又は55質量部以上であってもよく、また60質量部以下、又は55質量部以下であってもよい。
本発明において、炭化水素油は、揮発性炭化水素油であってもよく、不揮発性炭化水素油であってもよい。
なお、本発明において、「揮発性」の指針として、1気圧(101.325kPa)下における沸点を使用することができる。この沸点は、紫外線散乱剤を良好に分散させる観点から、250℃以下、240℃以下、又は230℃以下であることが好ましく、また、80℃以上、100℃以上、120℃以上、150℃以上、又は160℃以上であることが好ましい。また、本開示において「不揮発性」とは、十分に大きい平底皿に試料を入れて、105℃で3時間放置したときの揮発分が5%以下を呈するものを意図する。
本発明において、炭化水素油の具体例としては、例えばデカン、ドデカン、イソドデカン、イソヘキサデカン、流動パラフィン、スクワラン、スクワレン、パラフィン、及びこれらの2以上の混合物等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
〈シリコーン油〉
発明の組成物は、シリコーン油を含む。ここで、「シリコーン油」とは、化粧料に使用可能な油分の中で、シロキサン結合による主骨格をもつものを指す。

本発明の組成物において、シリコーン油が、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、10質量部以上であることは、特に使用性の観点から好ましい。また、シリコーン油が、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、50質量部以下であることは、特に、分散性の観点から好ましい。
本発明の効果をより発揮する観点から、本発明の組成物において、シリコーン油は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、10質量部以上、12質量部以上、15質量部以上、17質量部以上、20質量部以上、22質量部以上、25質量部以上、28質量部以上、30質量部以上、32質量部以上、35質量部以上、又は37質量部以上であってもよく、また50質量部以下、45質量部以下、又は40質量部以下であってよい。
本発明において、シリコーン油は、揮発性シリコーン油であってもよく、不揮発性シリコーン油であってもよい。粉末分散性を向上させる観点から、シリコーン油は、揮発性シリコーン油であることが好ましい。
また、本発明において、シリコーン油は、非環状シリコーン油(すなわち、鎖状シリコーン油)であってもよく、環状シリコーン油であってもよい。粉末分散性を向上させる観点から、シリコーン油は、非環状シリコーン油であることが好ましい。
本発明において、シリコーン油の具体例として、例えばポリジメチルシロキサン(ジメチコン)、メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、及びメチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサン等の鎖状シリコーン油、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、及びドデカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサン等の環状シリコーン油、並びにこれらの2以上の混合物等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
〈ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸〉
本発明の組成物は、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸を含む。

ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸は、主に、紫外線線散乱剤粒子を油性媒体中に均一に分散させる役割を有する。ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸は、ヒドロキシステアリン酸がエステル結合を形成することで、オリゴマー化した化合物であり、市販のものとしては、例えばHSオリゴマー600(豊国製油株式会社製)、及びサラコスHS-6C(日清オイリオ社製)等が販売されており、これらを使用することができる。また、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸は、重合度を特に限定されず、例えば4~8であってよい。
本発明の組成物において、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の紫外線散乱剤粒子に対する質量比(ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の質量/紫外線散乱剤粒子の質量)は、0.02以上である。ここで、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の紫外線散乱剤粒子に対する質量比が0.02以上であることは、分散効果の観点から好ましい。より具体的には、本発明の組成物において、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の紫外線散乱剤粒子に対する質量比は、例えば0.02以上、0.04以上、0.06以上、0.08以上、0.10以上、0.11以上、0.12以上、0.13以上、0.14以上、0.15以上、0.16以上、0.17以上、0.18以上、0.19以上、又は0.20以上であってもよく、また0.50以下、0.40以下、又は0.30以下であってよい。
また、本発明の組成物において、ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸は、油性媒体及びポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の合計100質量部に対して、例えば1.0質量部以上、1.5質量部以上、2.0質量部以上、2.5質量部以上、3.0質量部以上、3.5質量部以上、4.0質量部以上、4.5質量部以上、5.0質量部以上、5.5質量部以上、6.0質量部以上、6.5質量部以上、7.0質量部以上、7.5質量部以上、8.0質量部以上、8.5質量部以上、9.0質量部以上、9.5質量部以上、又は10質量部以上であってもよく、また15質量部以下、14質量部以下、13質量部以下、12質量部以下、11質量部以下、又は10質量部以下であってもよい。
〈紫外線散乱剤粒子〉
本発明の組成物は、紫外線散乱剤粒子が油性媒体中に分散している。ここで、紫外線散乱剤粒子は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、30質量部以上である。より高いSPFを得る観点からは、紫外線散乱剤粒子は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、30質量部以上、32質量部以上、35質量部以上、38質量部以上、40質量部以上、42質量部以上、45質量部以上、48質量部以上、50質量部以上、52質量部以上、55質量部以上、58質量部以上、60質量部以上、62質量部以上、65質量部以上、68質量部以上、70質量部以上、72質量部以上、75質量部以上、78質量部以上、80質量部以上、82質量部以上、85質量部以上、88質量部以上、90質量部以上、92質量部以上、95質量部以上、98質量部以上、又は100質量部以上であってもよい。なお、油性媒体中に分散している紫外線散乱剤粒子の量の上限は、特に限定されず、例えば紫外線散乱剤粒子は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、200質量部以下であってもよい。
本発明の組成物は、紫外線散乱剤粒子が油性媒体中に分散している。ここで、紫外線散乱剤粒子は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、30質量部以上である。より高いSPFを得る観点からは、紫外線散乱剤粒子は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、30質量部以上、32質量部以上、35質量部以上、38質量部以上、40質量部以上、42質量部以上、45質量部以上、48質量部以上、50質量部以上、52質量部以上、55質量部以上、58質量部以上、60質量部以上、62質量部以上、65質量部以上、68質量部以上、70質量部以上、72質量部以上、75質量部以上、78質量部以上、80質量部以上、82質量部以上、85質量部以上、88質量部以上、90質量部以上、92質量部以上、95質量部以上、98質量部以上、又は100質量部以上であってもよい。なお、油性媒体中に分散している紫外線散乱剤粒子の量の上限は、特に限定されず、例えば紫外線散乱剤粒子は、油性媒体の合計100質量部に対して、200質量部以下であってもよい。
本発明において、紫外線散乱剤粒子は、紫外線防御効果を有していれば、特に限定されず、例えば酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛、酸化鉄、及び酸化セリウムからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種であってよい。
紫外線散乱剤粒子は、疎水化処理されたものであってもよい。ここで、疎水化処理は、疎水化される公知の表面処理剤を用いて行えばよいが、例えば、フッ素化合物処理、シリコーン処理、シリコーン樹脂処理、ペンダント処理、シランカップリング剤処理、チタンカップリング剤処理、油剤処理、N-アシル化リジン処理、ポリアクリル酸処理、金属石鹸処理、アミノ酸処理、無機化合物処理、プラズマ処理、メカノケミカル処理、シラン化合物処理、シラザン化合物処理等が挙げられる。これら処理の中では、分散安定性等の観点から、シリコーン又はシリコーン樹脂による処理、シラン化合物又はシラザン化合物による処理、イソステアリン酸アルミニウム等の金属石鹸処理が好ましい。
紫外線散乱剤粒子は、平均一次粒子径が、特に限定されず、例えば5nm以上、10nm以上、又は15nm以上であってもよく、また200nm以下、100nm以下、又は50nm以下であってもよい。なお、「平均一次粒子径」は、SEM画像における一次粒子の投影面積円相当径として求めてよい。
紫外線散乱剤粒子の形状は、特に限定されず、例えば球状、板状、棒状、紡錘状、針状、不定形状等が挙げられる。
〈好適態様〉
上述したように、本発明の組成物は、その特定の組成によって、本発明の効果を発揮できるものである。以下では、本発明の組成物の好適な組成態様を例示的に示すが、本発明を限定するものではない。

〈組成物の沈降率〉
本発明の組成物は、極性油、炭化水素油、シリコーン油、及びポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の混合物中に紫外線散乱剤粒子が分散している状態である。この状態は、例えば、25℃で1日間に静置した際の沈降率が1.0質量%以下であることが好ましい。このような沈降率の低い安定した分散状態を長期間にわたって維持できると、長期保管、運搬等に適したものとなるため、流通上においても好ましい。なお、沈降率の測定は、例えばJIS A 1204:2020に規定の「土の粒度試験方法」を参照して行ってよい。
本発明の組成物は、極性油、炭化水素油、シリコーン油、及びポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の混合物中に紫外線散乱剤粒子が分散している状態である。この状態は、例えば、25℃で1日間に静置した際の沈降率が1.0質量%以下であることが好ましい。このような沈降率の低い安定した分散状態を長期間にわたって維持できると、長期保管、運搬等に適したものとなるため、流通上においても好ましい。なお、沈降率の測定は、例えばJIS A 1204:2020に規定の「土の粒度試験方法」を参照して行ってよい。

本発明の組成物の製造方法は、特に限定されず、公知の方法で、上述した各成分を混合し、紫外線散乱剤粒子を分散させることによって、本発明の組成物を製造することができる。分散装置としては、例えばビーズミル、サンドミル、ボールミル、又はペイントシェーカー等のメディア型分散装置や、ホモジェナイザー又はディスパー等の高速攪拌機や、高圧分散機、又は超音波分散機等のメディアレス分散装置等が挙げられる。ビーズミルには、横型と縦型が存在するが、どちらであっても構わない。一般的に、分散時の分散体の温度が低いほうが貯蔵安定性良好な分散体組成物を得ることができる。例えば、分散体の温度が10℃~40℃になるように分散してよい。

《化粧料》
本発明の組成物は、化粧料又はその原料として好適に使用することができる。すなわち、本発明は、特に化粧料組成物、より特に日焼け止め化粧料組成物を提供する。

本発明の化粧料組成物の形態は、特に限定されない。したがって、本発明の化粧料組成物は、水中油型の乳化化粧料組成物、油中水型の乳化化粧料組成物、油剤をベースとした油性化粧料組成物等であってよい。
また、本発明の化粧料組成物は、上述した成分以外に、化粧品分野において使用することができる任意の水性成分又は他の成分を更に含んでもよい。
本発明の化粧料組成物は、例えば界面活性剤、保湿剤、高級アルコール、金属イオン封鎖剤、天然及び合成高分子、水溶性及び油溶性高分子、各種抽出液、有機染料等の色剤、防腐剤、酸化防止剤、色素、増粘剤、pH調整剤、香料、冷感剤、制汗剤、殺菌剤、皮膚賦活剤、その他の薬剤、並びに各種粉体等の他の成分を更に含んでもよいが、これらに限定されない。
上記界面活性剤としては、親油性非イオン界面活性剤、親水性非イオン界面活性剤等が挙げられる。
ここで、親油性非イオン界面活性剤としては、特に限定されず、例えばソルビタンモノオレエート、ソルビタンモノイソステアレート、ソルビタンモノラウレート、ソルビタンモノパルミテート、ソルビタンモノステアレート、ソルビタンセスキオレエート、ソルビタントリオレエート、ペンタ-2-エチルヘキシル酸ジグリセロールソルビタン、テトラ-2-エチルヘキシル酸ジグリセロールソルビタン等のソルビタン脂肪酸エステル類、モノ綿実油脂肪酸グリセリン、モノエルカ酸グリセリン、セスキオレイン酸グリセリン、モノステアリン酸グリセリン、α,α’-オレイン酸ピログルタミン酸グリセリン、モノステアリン酸グリセリンリンゴ酸等のグリセリンポリグリセリン脂肪酸類、モノステアリン酸プロピレングリコール等のプロピレングリコール脂肪酸エステル類、硬化ヒマシ油誘導体、及びグリセリンアルキルエーテル等が挙げられる。
親水性非イオン界面活性剤としては、特に限定されず、例えばPOEソルビタンモノオレエート、POEソルビタンモノステアレート、POEソルビタンテトラオレエート等のPOEソルビタン脂肪酸エステル類、POEソルビットモノラウレート、POEソルビットモノオレエート、POEソルビットペンタオレエート、POEソルビットモノステアレート等のPOEソルビット脂肪酸エステル類、POEグリセリンモノステアレート、POEグリセリンモノイソステアレート、POEグリセリントリイソステアレート等のPOEグリセリン脂肪酸エステル類、POEモノオレエート、POEジステアレート、POEモノジオレエート、システアリン酸エチレングリコール等のPOE脂肪酸エステル類、POEラウリルエーテル、POEオレイルエーテル、POEステアリルエーテル、POEベヘニルエーテル、POE2-オクチルドデシルエーテル、POEコレスタノールエーテル等のPOEアルキルエーテル類、POEオクチルフェニルエーテル、POEノニルフェニルエーテル、POEジノニルフェニルエーテル等のPOEアルキルフェニルエーテル類、ブルロニック等のプルアロニック型類、POE・POPセチルエーテル、POE・POP2-デシルテトラデシルエーテル、POE・POPモノブチルエーテル、POE・POP水添ラノリン、POE・POPグリセリンエーテル等のPOE・POPアルキルエーテル類、テトロニック等のテトラPOE・テトラPOPエチレンジアミン縮合物類、POEヒマシ油、POE硬化ヒマシ油、POE硬化ヒマシ油モノイソステアレート、POE硬化ヒマシ油トリイソステアレート、POE硬化ヒマシ油モノピログルタミン酸モノイソステアリン酸ジエステル、POE硬化ヒマシ油マレイン酸等のPOEヒマシ油硬化ヒマシ油誘導体、POEソルビットミツロウ等のPOEミツロウ・ラノリン誘導体、ヤシ油脂肪酸ジエタノールアミド、ラウリン酸モノエタノールアミド、脂肪酸イソプロパノールアミド等のアルカノールアミド、POEプロピレングリコール脂肪酸エステル、POEアルキルアミン、POE脂肪酸アミド、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル、POEノニルフェニルホルムアルデヒド縮合物、アルキルエトキシジメチルアミンオキシド、及びトリオレイルリン酸等が挙げられる。
その他の界面活性剤としては、例えば脂肪酸セッケン、高級アルキル硫酸エステル塩、POEラウリル硫酸トリエタノールアミン、アルキルエーテル硫酸エステル塩等のアニオン界面活性剤、アルキルトリメチルアンモニウム塩、アルキルピリジニウム塩、アルキル四級アンモニウム塩、アルキルジメチルベンジルアンモニウム塩、アルキルアミン塩、ポリアミン脂肪酸誘導体等のカチオン界面活性剤、及び、イミダゾリン系両性界面活性剤、ベタイン系界面活性剤等の両性界面活性剤を安定性及び皮膚刺激性に問題のない範囲で配合してもよい。
上記保湿剤としては、特に限定されず、例えばキシリトール、ソルビトール、マルチトール、コンドロイチン硫酸、ヒアルロン酸、ムコイチン硫酸、カロニン酸、アテロコラーゲン、コレステリル-12-ヒドロキシステアレート、乳酸ナトリウム、胆汁酸塩、dl-ピロリドンカルボン酸塩、短鎖可溶性コラーゲン、ジグリセリン(EO)PO付加物、イサイヨバラ抽出物、セイヨウノコギリソウ抽出物、及びメリロート抽出物等が挙げられる。
高級アルコールとしては、特に限定されず、例えば、ラウリルアルコール、セチルアルコール、ステアリルアルコール、ベヘニルアルコール、ミリスチルアルコール、オレイルアルコール、セトステアリルアルコール等の直鎖アルコール、モノステアリルグリセリンエーテル(バチルアルコール)、2-デシルテトラデシノール、ラノリンアルコール、コレステロール、フィトステロール、ヘキシルドデカノール、イソステアリルアルコール、オクチルドデカノール等の分枝鎖アルコール等を挙げることができる。
金属イオン封鎖剤としては、特に限定されず、例えば、1-ヒドロキシエタン-1,1-ジフォスホン酸、1-ヒドロキシエタン-1,1-ジフォスホン酸四ナトリウム塩、クエン酸ナトリウム、ポリリン酸ナトリウム、メタリン酸ナトリウム、グルコン酸、リン酸、クエン酸、アスコルビン酸、コハク酸、エデト酸等を挙げることができる。
天然の水溶性高分子としては、特に限定されず、例えばアラアビアガム、トラガカントガム、ガラクタン、グアガム、キャロブガム、カラヤガム、カラギーナン、ペクチン、カンテン、クインスシード(マルメロ)、アルゲコロイド(カッソウエキス)、デンプン(コメ、トウモロコシ、バレイショ、コムギ)、グリチルリチン酸等の植物系高分子、キサンタンガム、デキストラン、サクシノグルカン、プルラン等の微生物系高分子、コラーゲン、カゼイン、アルブミン、ゼラチン等の動物系高分子等が挙げられる。
半合成の水溶性高分子としては、特に限定されず、例えばカルボキシメチルデンプン、メチルヒドロキシプロピルデンプン等のデンプン系高分子、メチルセルロース、ニトロセルロース、エチルセルロース、メチルヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、セルロース硫酸ナトリウム、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム(CMC)、結晶セルロース、セルロース末等のセルロース系高分子、アルギン酸ナトリウム、アルギン酸プロピレングリコールエステル等のアルギン酸系高分子等が挙げられる。
合成の水溶性高分子としては、特に限定されず、例えばポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルメチルエーテル、ポリビニルピロリドン等のビニル系高分子、ポリエチレングリコール20,000、40,000、60,000等のポリオキシエチレン系高分子、ポリオキシエチレンポリオキシプロピレン共重合体共重合系高分子、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリエチルアクリレート、ポリアクリルアミド等のアクリル系高分子、ポリグリセリン、ポリエチレンイミン、カチオンポリマー、カルボキシビニルポリマー、アルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマー、(アクリル酸ヒドロキシエチル/アクリロイルジメチルタウリンNa)コポリマー、(アクリル酸Na/アクリロイルジメチルタウリンNa)コポリマー、(アクリロイルジメチルタウリンアンモニウム/ビニルピロリドン)コポリマー、(アクリロイルジメチルタウリンアンモニウムメタクリル酸ベヘネス-25)クロスポリマー等が挙げられる。
無機の水溶性高分子としては、特に限定されず、例えばベントナイト、ケイ酸AlMg(ビーガム)、ラポナイト、ヘクトライト、及び無水ケイ酸等が挙げられる。
その他薬剤成分としては、特に限定されず、例えばビタミンA油、レチノール、パルミチン酸レチノール、イノシット、塩酸ピリドキシン、ニコチン酸ベンジル、ニコチン酸アミド、ニコチン酸DL-α-トコフェロール、アルコルビン酸リン酸マグネシウム、2-O-α-D-グルコピラノシル-L-アスコルビン酸、ビタミンD2(エルゴカシフェロール)、dl-α-トコフェロール、酢酸dl-α-トコフェロール、パントテン酸、ビオチン等のビタミン類;エストラジオール、エチニルエストラジオール等のホルモン;アルギニン、アスパラギン酸、シスチン、システイン、メチオニン、セリン、ロイシン、トリプトファン等のアミノ酸;アラントイン、アズレン等の抗炎症剤、アルブチン等の美白剤、;タンニン酸等の収斂剤;L-メントール、カンフル等の清涼剤やイオウ、塩化リゾチーム、塩化ピリドキシン等が挙げられる。
各種の抽出液としては、特に限定されず、例えばドクダミエキス、オウバクエキス、メリロートエキス、オドリコソウエキス、カンゾウエキス、シャクヤクエキス、サボンソウエキス、ヘチマエキス、キナエキス、ユキノシタエキス、クララエキス、コウホネエキス、ウイキョウエキス、サクラソウエキス、バラエキス、ジオウエキス、レモンエキス、シコンエキス、アロエエキス、ショウブ根エキス、ユーカリエキス、スギナエキス、セージエキス、タイムエキス、茶エキス、海藻エキス、キューカンバーエキス、チョウジエキス、キイチゴエキス、メリッサエキス、ニンジンエキス、マロニエエキス、モモエキス、桃葉エキス、クワエキス、ヤグルマギクエキス、ハマメリスエキス、プラセンタエキス、胸腺抽出物、シルク抽出液、及び甘草エキス等が挙げられる。
上記各種粉体としては、ベンガラ、黄酸化鉄、黒酸化鉄、雲母チタン、酸化鉄被覆雲母チタン、酸化チタン被覆ガラスフレーク等の光輝性着色顔料、マイカ、タルク、カオリン、セリサイト、酸化亜鉛、シリカ等の無機粉末やポリエチレン末、ナイロン末、架橋ポリスチレン、セルロースパウダー、シリコーン末等の有機粉末等が挙げられる。
以下に実施例を挙げて、本発明について更に詳しく説明を行うが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。
下記の表1~4に示す処方で、実施例及び比較例の組成物を調製し、得られた各組成物について、分散直後の相溶性、分散性、及び使用性を、以下の基準に従って評価して、それらの結果も表に併せて示す。
なお、表1~4において、使用される原料(組成物の成分)の詳細は、以下のとおりである:
・極性油:オクチルメトキシシンナメート;BASFジャパン株式会社製の商品名「ユビナールMC80」、
・炭化水素油:イソドデカン;丸善石油化学株式会社製の商品名「マルカゾールR」、
・シリコーン油:ジメチコン;信越化学工業株式会社製の商品名「KF-96-1.5CS」、
・酸化チタン:テイカ株式会社製の商品名「MT-100TV」、
・ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸:豊国製油株式会社製の商品名「HSオリゴマー600」、
・イソステアリン酸:高級アルコール工業株式会社製の商品名「イソステアリン酸EX」。

・イソステアリン酸:高級アルコール工業株式会社製の商品名「イソステアリン酸EX」。
〈直後の相溶性〉
各組成物に対して、調製直後から静置で3時間以内に、2層に分離するかどうかを観察することによって評価した。なお、評価基準は、以下のとおりである:
〇:分離せず、均一な1層のままであった(良好);
×:2層に分離した(不良)。

〈分散性の評価〉
各組成物に対して、BL型粘度測定装置を用いて、せん断速度が0.6rpmである場合の粘度の値を「L」として求め、またせん断速度が60rpmである場合の粘度の値を「H」として求め、これらの値から、「H/L」の値を得た。この「H/L」の値が大きいほど、分散性が良好であることを意味している。なお、粘度の値は、BL型粘度測定装置によって、測定した。
各組成物に対して、BL型粘度測定装置を用いて、せん断速度が0.6rpmである場合の粘度の値を「L」として求め、またせん断速度が60rpmである場合の粘度の値を「H」として求め、これらの値から、「H/L」の値を得た。この「H/L」の値が大きいほど、分散性が良好であることを意味している。なお、粘度の値は、BL型粘度測定装置によって、測定した。
各組成物から得られた「H/L」の値を、以下の基準によって、分散性として評価した:
A:「H/L」の値が、20超であった;
B:「H/L」の値が、10以上20以下であった;
C:「H/L」の値が、10未満であった。
A:「H/L」の値が、20超であった;
B:「H/L」の値が、10以上20以下であった;
C:「H/L」の値が、10未満であった。
〈使用性の評価〉
各組成物に対して、専門パネル10名が試料を腕に塗布したときにべたつきを感じたかについて評価した。評価人数によって各評価項目を評価付けした:
A:塗布時にべたつきを感じたパネルは3名以下であった;
B:塗布時にべたつきを感じたパネルは4~6名であった;
C:塗布時にべたつきを感じたパネルは7名以上であった。
各組成物に対して、専門パネル10名が試料を腕に塗布したときにべたつきを感じたかについて評価した。評価人数によって各評価項目を評価付けした:
A:塗布時にべたつきを感じたパネルは3名以下であった;
B:塗布時にべたつきを感じたパネルは4~6名であった;
C:塗布時にべたつきを感じたパネルは7名以上であった。
表1~4から明らかであるように、実施例1~5の組成物は、いずれも良好な使用性を維持しながら、高濃度の紫外線散乱剤粒子の分散性も良好であることが分かった。
これに対して、比較例1~21の組成物は、本発明の特定の構成を満たしておらず、いずれも、高濃度の紫外線散乱剤粒子の分散性が悪いことが分かった。
《本発明の組成物の処方例》
以下では、本発明の組成物を使用した化粧料の処方例を挙げるが、本発明は、これらの例示に限定されるものではない。

Claims (10)
- 極性油、炭化水素油、シリコーン油、及びポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の混合物中に紫外線散乱剤粒子が分散している組成物であって、
前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、及び前記シリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、前記極性油が、10質量部以上かつ70質量部以下であり、
前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、及び前記シリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、前記炭化水素油が、1.0質量部以上かつ60質量部以下であり、
前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、及び前記シリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、前記シリコーン油が、10質量部以上かつ50質量部以下であり、
前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、及び前記シリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、前記紫外線散乱剤粒子が、30質量部以上であり、かつ
前記ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の前記紫外線散乱剤粒子に対する質量比(前記ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の質量/前記紫外線散乱剤粒子の質量)が、0.02以上である、
組成物、特に化粧料組成物。 - 前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、及び前記シリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、前記極性油が、20質量部以上かつ60質量部以下である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、及び前記シリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、前記炭化水素油が、10質量部以上かつ60質量部以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、及び前記シリコーン油の合計100質量部に対して、前記シリコーン油が、10質量部以上かつ40質量部以下である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記極性油、前記炭化水素油、前記シリコーン油、及び前記ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の合計100質量部に対して、前記ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸が、1.0質量部以上かつ15質量部以下である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記紫外線散乱剤粒子が、酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛、酸化鉄、及び酸化セリウムからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種である、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記極性油が、紫外線吸収剤を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記シリコーン油が、揮発性シリコーン油である、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記シリコーン油が、非環状シリコーン油である、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 日焼け止め化粧料組成物である、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
