Definitions
- This disclosure relates to a method for producing cyclopentadiene.
- Non-Patent Document 1 describes a method for producing cyclopentadiene from n-pentane, n-pentene, etc. using a Pt / SiO 2 catalyst.
- Non-Patent Document 1 Although a high yield of cyclopentadiene can be obtained within the first few minutes when the activity of the catalyst is maintained, the reaction was carried out for a long time (time exceeding 15 minutes). In some cases, there is a problem that a high yield cannot be obtained.
- an object of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing cyclopentadiene, which can produce cyclopentadiene in a high yield even when the reaction is carried out for a long time.
- One aspect of the present disclosure is to contact a dehydrogenating catalyst with a raw material component containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a normal form of a hydrocarbon having 5 carbon atoms, cyclopentane and cyclopentene to obtain cyclopentadiene.
- the present invention relates to a method for producing a cyclopentadiene, which comprises a dehydrocarbonation step, wherein the dehydrocarbon catalyst has a metal oxide carrier containing Al and a Group 2 metal element and a supported metal containing Pt supported on the carrier.
- the content of the Group 14 metal element in the dehydrogenation catalyst may be 1.0% by mass or less based on the total amount of the dehydrogenation catalyst.
- the molar ratio of the Group 14 metal element to the Pt (the number of moles of the Group 14 metal element / the number of moles of Pt) in the dehydrogenation catalyst may be 1.0 or less.
- the content of Pt in the dehydrogenation catalyst may be 0.1 to 10% by mass based on the total amount of the dehydrogenation catalyst.
- the Group 2 metal element may contain Mg.
- the dehydrogenation step may be performed in an atmosphere containing hydrogen.
- a method for producing cyclopentadiene which can produce cyclopentadiene in a high yield even when the reaction is carried out for a long time.
- Example 3 is a graph showing the yields of major components contained in the reaction products obtained in Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4.

・試料量:約0.1g(小数点以下4桁目まで精秤した)
