Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dipole antenna, a polarization shared antenna, and an array antenna suitable for an antenna for a mobile communication base station, and has been difficult to realize in the past especially at a frequency of 28 GHz band or higher assigned in 5G. Also related to dipole antennas, polarization shared dipole antennas, and array antennas.
- MIMO Multi Input Multi Output
- polarization MIMO uses orthogonal polarization sharing to realize MIMO.
- the mobile phone base station antenna uses a polarized wave shared antenna.
- a single polarization antenna can radiate two orthogonal polarizations, which contributes to the miniaturization of the base station antenna.
- the SUB6 band that is, the frequency band of 6 GHz or less, which is conventionally assigned, for example, a dipole antenna as described in Patent Document 2 and a polarization shared antenna as a patch antenna as described in Patent Document 1 are known. There is. On the other hand, in the 28 GHz band allocated in 5G and the millimeter wave band higher than that, a dipole antenna is difficult, so a patch antenna or the like is being studied.

That is, in the SUB6 band, each polarization antenna balun can be configured by a separate substrate to have a self-supporting structure.
- the wavelength is very short, and the antenna structure is small and fine, so that the substrate alone cannot stand on its own, and it is difficult to secure the same stand-alone structure as the SUB6.
- a dipole antenna as described in Patent Document 2 with a multilayer board.
- a conductor is formed by through holes in the vertical direction (direction in which a balun circuit is formed), but in a through hole, a flat plate (strip line structure) is used as in a conventional configuration example. I can't.
- a patch antenna can be realized because it is easy to design because it is usually three-dimensionalized using a multilayer board or the like. If it is a patch antenna as described in Patent Document 1, it is possible to share the polarization by using a three-dimensional circuit such as a multilayer board, but the cross-polarization characteristics and isolation characteristics are better than those of a dipole antenna. not.

Further, the present invention obtains better isolation / cross-polarization characteristics in a wider band than a patch antenna at a frequency of 28 GHz or higher allocated by 5G, thereby improving MIMO performance and beamforming performance. It is an object of the present invention to provide a suitable dipole antenna, a shared polarization antenna, and an array antenna.
- the dipole antenna according to claim 1 of the present invention is It has an antenna portion provided on the dielectric layer and has an antenna portion.

- the dipole antenna according to claim 4 of the present invention is The signal line is It is arranged through the gap between the two antenna elements of the antenna portion, and excites the antenna portion. It is characterized in that it faces one of the antenna elements at a distance of a predetermined distance, is connected to the other antenna element, and the other antenna element is grounded by the pseudo-coaxial circuit.
- the dipole antenna according to claim 5 of the present invention is The signal line is It is arranged through the gap between the two antenna elements of the antenna portion, and excites the antenna portion.
- the claim is characterized in that the two antenna elements of the antenna portion are opposed to each other by a predetermined distance, and the end on the side opposite to the side to which the high frequency current or the high frequency current is supplied is open.
- the dipole antenna according to claim 6 of the present invention is The dielectric layer has a first dielectric layer and a second dielectric layer. The antenna portion is provided on the second dielectric layer, and the antenna portion is provided on the second dielectric layer.
- the dipole antenna according to claim 7 of the present invention is The dipole antenna according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the dielectric layer has a transmission layer having a transmission line on the side opposite to the side where the antenna portion is provided. ..
- the polarization shared antenna according to claim 8 of the present invention is A polarization shared antenna comprising two dipole antennas according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the two dipole antennas are orthogonal to each other.
- the polarization shared antenna according to claim 9 of the present invention is The polarization shared antenna according to claim 8, wherein the two dipole antennas are formed on different dielectric layers.

Abstract
