- the high voltage pulse generator 252 When the transition from the temporary on state to the normal on state is made, the high voltage pulse generator 252 generates a high voltage pulse in response to the pressing of the pulse button 231.
- the output of the high voltage pulse at this time is larger than that in the low output mode, and it is possible to output up to the maximum value of the pulse that can be output by the high voltage pulse generator 252. This operation mode is called the normal output mode.
- either the in-camera 111 or the out-camera 112 is activated to start recording the video (S119). If it is connected to the police WEB system, the video is transferred to the WEB system. The sound input from the microphone may be recorded and transferred to the WEB system.
- the position information calculated by GPS 161 or the like can also be configured to be transferred to the WEB system at regular intervals or according to the movement of a fixed distance. Further, the operation status of the high voltage pulse generator 252 may be collected and transferred periodically.
- the cooperation monitoring unit 404 transmits a forced termination signal to the smartphone 100 (S121).
- the case where the cooperation is forcibly terminated is a case where the termination operation is performed on the self-defense device 2 side instead of the normal termination state executed when the biometric authentication by the smartphone 100 is successful.
- the power button 230 of the self-defense tool 2 is turned off, the connection with the smartphone 100 is turned off, the self-defense tool 2 is destroyed, and the like, the cooperation becomes impossible.
- the cooperation release unit 304 of the smartphone 100 shifts the smartphone 100 to the virtual power off mode (S122). What is the "virtual power off mode"? Although the police report by the smartphone 100 continues, the voice output, vibration output, and display output from the smartphone 100 are stopped, and although it seems that the smartphone 100 is not functioning at first glance, it is actually.
- the input function, the call function, and the communication function such as the out-camera 112, the in-camera 111, and the microphone 121 are kept on.
- the processing of steps S120 to S122 is performed only when the forced termination signal is transmitted / received.
