Then, the control switching unit 522 selects one of the control methods used to determine the steering angle control command, in other words, the steering angle control command defined by each control method, based on the acquired information.
- the control methods 521a, 521b, 521c Have at least the first control method and the second control method for acquiring the steering angle control command so that the magnitudes of the steering angle control amounts with respect to the speed V are different from each other.
- the first control method is feedback control that reduces the physical quantity related to the lateral difference or the turning direction difference between the vehicle 200 and the traveling target of the vehicle 200, and the steering angle control amount increases as the speed V of the vehicle 200 decreases. Acquire the first steering angle control command for controlling so as to increase.
- the second control method is a second rudder for controlling the rudder angle control amount with respect to the speed V to be smaller than the magnitude of the rudder angle control amount with respect to the speed V in the above-mentioned first rudder angle control command. Acquire the angle control command.
- the control switching unit 522 selects the first control method when the physical quantity related to the speed V is larger than the predetermined threshold value, and selects the second control method when the physical quantity related to the speed V is smaller than the predetermined threshold value or the predetermined threshold value. In other words, when the speed V is higher than the predetermined threshold value Vth (V> Vth), the control switching unit 522 outputs the first rudder angle control command, and when the speed V is lower than the predetermined threshold value Vth or the predetermined threshold value Vth (V). ⁇ Vth), the second rudder angle control command is output.
- the predetermined threshold value Vth is, for example, a speed of about 20 km / h, and a state in which the speed V is higher than the predetermined threshold value Vth (V> Vth) is a medium / high speed running state of the vehicle 200. Further, the state where the speed V is lower than the predetermined threshold value Vth or the predetermined threshold value Vth (V ⁇ Vth) is the low speed running state of the vehicle 200, and the low speed running state is when the vehicle 200 whose speed V increases from zero starts. , And when the vehicle 200 whose speed V drops to zero stops.

- a control method for acquiring the steering angle at which the wheel is directed to the target point as a steering angle control command is provided.
- the track tracking control unit 520 acquires information such as the lateral deviation Yerr and the angle deviation ⁇ err, which are the deviation amounts of the vehicle 200 with respect to the target track at the forward gazing point, and the curvature of the target track at the forward gazing point. Based on this, the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd is calculated so as to reduce the deviations Yerr and ⁇ err.
- the actuator control unit 530 converts the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd acquired from the trajectory tracking control unit 520 into the steering angle command ⁇ cmd as the steering angle control command, and the signal of the steering angle command ⁇ cmd is the electronically controlled power steering device 600. It is transmitted to the steering control unit 602.
- the actuator control unit 530 converts the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd into the steering angle command ⁇ cmd according to the mathematical formula 1.
- Lwb is the wheelbase
- Goa is the overall gear ratio, which is the ratio of the steering angle to the actual steering angle.
- the steering angle command ⁇ cmd becomes larger as the amount of deviation of the vehicle 200 from the target track is larger and the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd becomes larger. Further, in the process of converting the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd into the steering angle command ⁇ cmd, the steering angle command ⁇ cmd is inversely proportional to the square of the speed V, and the steering angle command ⁇ cmd becomes larger as the speed V is lower.
- the control method for converting the lateral acceleration command for making the vehicle 200 follow the target track into the steering angle control command is a physical quantity related to the lateral deviation Yerr, which is the lateral difference between the vehicle 200 and the target track, or.
- It is a feedback control that reduces the physical quantity related to the angle deviation ⁇ err, which is the difference in the turning direction between the vehicle 200 and the target track, and the steering angle is controlled so that the steering angle control amount increases as the speed V decreases.
- the command ⁇ cmd (in other words, the first steering angle control command) is acquired.
- the track tracking control unit 520 is different in the control method of acquiring the steering angle at which the wheel is directed to the target point as a steering angle control command, depending on whether the vehicle 200 follows the preceding vehicle or the vehicle 200 travels independently. Select a target point.
- FIG. 2 shows the selection of a target point when the vehicle 200 is made to follow the preceding vehicle 800.
- the track tracking control unit 520 selects the rear end center 810 of the preceding vehicle 800 traveling in front of the own vehicle as a target point for tracking control (in other words, a traveling target). Then, the track tracking control unit 520 acquires the steering angle command ⁇ cmd2 so as to be a steering angle control command in which the wheels of the own vehicle face toward the rear end center 810 of the preceding vehicle 800.
- the track tracking control unit 520 sets the front wheels 210L and 210R of the preceding vehicle 800 to the preceding vehicle 800.
- the steering angle command ⁇ cmd2 for directing to the center 810 of the rear end is calculated according to Equation 2.
- FIG. 3 shows selection of a target point when the vehicle 200 travels alone, in other words, when the preceding vehicle 800 traveling in front of the vehicle 200 does not exist or is farther than a predetermined value.
- the track tracking control unit 520 selects the target point closest to the vehicle 200 in front of the vehicle 200 as the target point for the front wheels 210L and 210R among the plurality of target points forming the target track.
- the track tracking control unit 520 directs the wheels (specifically, front wheels 210L and 210R) to the target point closest to the vehicle 200 in the same manner as in the case where the rear end center 810 of the preceding vehicle 800 is set as the target point.
- the actuator control unit 530 acquires the steering angle command ⁇ cmd2 from the trajectory tracking control unit 520, the actuator control unit 530 transmits the steering angle command ⁇ cmd2 as it is to the steering control unit 602 of the electronically controlled power steering device 600.
- the control switching unit 522 is a rudder that directs the wheels to the target point when the vehicle 200 starts or stops, and when the target track is far or not, until the vehicle 200 gets on the target track.
- a second control method for acquiring an angle as a steering angle control command is selected, and the vehicle control device 500 outputs a steering angle command ⁇ cmd2 (in other words, a second steering angle control command) as a steering angle control command.
- the control switching unit 522 selects the first control method for converting the lateral acceleration command for making the vehicle 200 follow the target track into the steering angle control command.
- the vehicle control device 500 outputs a steering angle command ⁇ cmd as a steering angle control command.
- the vehicle 200 when the vehicle 200 starts or stops, it is a case where the physical quantity related to the speed V of the vehicle 200 is smaller than a predetermined threshold value or the predetermined threshold value. Further, until the vehicle 200 gets on the target track when the target track is far or not, the physical quantity related to the difference in the lateral direction or the difference in the turning direction (specifically, the lateral deviation Yerr or the angular deviation ⁇ err). However, it is larger than a predetermined value or cannot be obtained.
- the condition for selecting the second control method for directing the wheel to the target point is that when the first control method for converting the lateral acceleration command into the steering angle control command is implemented, This is a condition in which there is a high probability that the steering angle command ⁇ cmd by the first control method will become large and overshoot of the steering angle control will occur.
- the condition for selecting the second control method for directing the wheel to the target point is that the steering angle command ⁇ cmd2 by the second control method converts the lateral acceleration command into the steering angle control command, and the steering angle command ⁇ cmd by the first control method. It is also a condition that becomes smaller.
- the track tracking control unit 520 steers by selecting a second control method instead of the first control method when the vehicle 200 starts or stops, and when the target track is far or not.
- the amount of angle control is kept small to suppress the occurrence of overshoot. That is, when the vehicle 200 starts or stops, and when the target track is far or not, the track tracking control unit 520 obtains the steering angle command ⁇ cmd from the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd by the first control method. Since the amount of deviation of the vehicle 200 from the target track is large and the speed V of the vehicle 200 is low, the steering angle command ⁇ cmd becomes large. If the steering angle command ⁇ cmd is large, an overshoot of steering angle control may occur, the steering angle may swing, and the vehicle 200 may meander.
- the rudder angle command ⁇ cmd2 acquired by the second control method when the vehicle 200 starts or stops, and when the target trajectory is far or not, is a lateral acceleration command by the first control method. It is smaller than the rudder angle command ⁇ cmd obtained from Ygcmd, and in the rudder angle control based on the rudder angle command ⁇ cmd2, the overshoot of the rudder angle control is suppressed. Therefore, the vehicle control device 500 is used when the vehicle 200 starts or stops, and when the target track is far or not, that is, when the speed V of the vehicle 200 is low and the amount of deviation from the target track is large.
- the track tracking control unit 520 uses the target.
- the first control method for converting the lateral acceleration command for making the vehicle 200 follow the track into the steering angle control command the followability of the vehicle 200 to the target track is improved.
- the vehicle control device 500 suppresses the deflection of the steering angle and the meandering of the vehicle 200 due to the overshoot of the steering angle control in the low speed traveling state of the vehicle 200, and suppresses the vehicle 200 in the medium / high speed traveling state of the vehicle 200. It can follow the target trajectory with good response.
- the vehicle control device 500 switches the responsiveness of the control method for converting the lateral acceleration command into the steering angle control command according to the speed V, and is more than in the medium / high speed running state in the low speed running state.
- the responsiveness it is possible to prevent the rudder angle from swinging due to the overshoot of the rudder angle control and the meandering of the vehicle 200 in a low-speed running state such as when the vehicle 200 starts or stops.
- the trajectory tracking control unit 520 is a control method for converting a lateral acceleration command into a steering angle control command, and includes a plurality of control methods having different responsiveness to each other, and the control switching unit 522 is in a low-speed running state.
- the control switching unit 522 is in a low-speed running state.
- the actuator of the electronically controlled power steering device 600 has a response delay, and there is also a response delay due to a change in the direction of the vehicle 200 with respect to a change in the steering angle of the front wheels 210L and 210R.
- the vehicle control device 500 can prevent the vehicle 200 from deteriorating the followability to the target track due to the wasted time due to the response delay.
- FIG. 4 is a block diagram conceptually showing a function when the vehicle control device 500 calculates a steering angle control command using model prediction control.
- the vehicle control device 500 includes a vehicle model 550 (in other words, a prediction model), a control unit 560, and a look-ahead compensation unit 570.
- the vehicle control device 500 predicts the response after a predetermined prediction time, and performs look-ahead compensation for searching for a steering angle control command that reduces the tracking error in the prediction interval.
- the vehicle control device 500 can reduce the responsiveness of the steering angle control by changing the prediction time in the model prediction control for a long time.
- the vehicle control device 500 increases the predicted time as the speed V of the vehicle 200 decreases when the speed V of the vehicle 200 is lower than the predetermined threshold value Vth or the predetermined threshold value Vth (V ⁇ Vth).
- the responsiveness of the steering angle control is lowered to prevent the steering angle control from overshooting in a low-speed traveling state such as when the vehicle 200 starts or stops. That is, the process of changing the predicted time in the model predictive control by the vehicle control device 500 corresponds to the switching of the control method for switching the responsiveness of the steering angle control (in other words, the responsiveness of the electronically controlled power steering device 600). do.
- the vehicle control device 500 increases the predicted time as the speed V of the vehicle 200 decreases, and lowers the responsiveness of the steering angle control as the speed V of the vehicle 200 decreases. For example, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of overshoot of the steering angle control while suppressing the responsiveness from becoming excessively low in the low speed running state.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram showing one aspect of the correlation between the predicted time ET and the speed V in the process of changing the predicted time in the model prediction control according to the speed V of the vehicle 200.
- the vehicle control device 500 sets the predicted time ET variably according to the speed V based on the characteristics of FIG. 5, in other words, a table or a function for obtaining the predicted time ET from the speed V of the vehicle 200, and sets the predicted time.
- Model prediction control is performed using ET.
- the first steering angle control command is acquired by the model predictive control, that is, the first control method.
- the predicted time ET is set to the predetermined time ET1 or more, and as the speed V of the vehicle 200 becomes lower than the predetermined threshold Vth.
- the predicted time ET is gradually changed to a longer time, and the model predictive control in which the predicted time ET> the predetermined time ET1 is set, that is, the second steering angle control command is acquired by the second control method.
- the magnitude of the steering angle control amount with respect to the speed V of the vehicle 200 in the required steering angle control command becomes smaller. Therefore, if the vehicle control device 500 increases the predicted time ET in the model predictive control as the speed V decreases in the low speed running state, the steering angle control amount can be sufficiently suppressed under each speed condition, and the steering angle control overshoot can be suppressed. Is suppressed.
- FIG. 6 shows a steering angle control amount (that is, a steering angle control command in the first control method) obtained when the predicted time ET is set to the predetermined time ET1 in a low-speed running state, and the predicted time ET from the predetermined time ET1.
- the steering angle control amount (that is, the steering angle control command in the second control method) required when the length is increased is shown.
- the fluctuation width of the rudder angle control amount with respect to the deviation with respect to the target trajectory is higher than when the predicted time ET is set to be longer than the predetermined time ET1 and the responsiveness is lowered, and when the predicted time ET is set to the predetermined time ET1 and the responsiveness is increased. It gets smaller.
- the vehicle control device 500 determines the steering angle control obtained by making the predicted time ET longer than the predetermined time ET1 when the speed V of the vehicle 200 continues the low-speed running state lower than the predetermined threshold value Vth or the predetermined threshold value Vth.
- the vehicle control device 500 continuously uses a control method with low responsiveness, in other words, the predicted time ET is set to a predetermined time.
- the rudder angle control is performed by continuing the output of the rudder angle control command obtained longer than ET1.
- FIG. 7 shows a model prediction using the same predicted time ET as in the medium / high speed running state even in the low speed running state without changing the predicted time ET according to the speed V, that is, changing the responsiveness according to the speed V.
- 6 is a time chart showing changes in speed V and steering angle control amount when the vehicle 200 starts when a steering angle control command is obtained by control.
- the steering angle control is performed with high responsiveness in the low speed traveling state when the vehicle 200 starts, and as a result, the fluctuation of the steering angle control amount becomes large and an overshoot occurs.
- FIG. 8 shows changes in the speed V and the steering angle control amount when the vehicle 200 starts when the predicted time ET is lengthened and the responsiveness is lowered in the low speed running state as compared with the medium / high speed running state. It is a time chart showing. At this time, although the steering angle command becomes large and the overshoot is likely to occur at low speed, the occurrence of overshoot is suppressed because the prediction time of the model prediction control is set to be long and the responsiveness is set low. , The runout of the rudder angle is suppressed sufficiently small.
- the vehicle control device 500 calculates the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd based on the deviation amount of the vehicle 200 with respect to the target track at the forward gazing point (specifically, lateral deviation Yerr or angle deviation ⁇ err), and the lateral acceleration command.
- the front gaze point is set, that is, the forward gaze distance is changed according to the speed V to switch the responsiveness of the steering angle control.
- the lateral displacement corresponding to the lateral deviation Yerr may be obtained by traveling by the forward gaze distance Lp.
- the vehicle control device 500 increases the forward gaze distance Lp as the speed V decreases, contrary to the general setting of the forward gaze distance Lp, to speed up the responsiveness of the steering angle control. By lowering the V as it becomes lower, it is possible to prevent the overshoot from occurring due to the large steering angle control command.
- FIG. 9 is a diagram showing one aspect of the correlation between the speed V of the vehicle 200 and the forward gaze time Tp when the forward gaze time Tp is changed according to the speed V.
- the forward gaze time Tp is lengthened as the speed V becomes lower, and the speed V of the vehicle 200 becomes higher.
- the forward gaze time Tp when the speed V of the vehicle 200 is the predetermined threshold value Vth is maintained.
- the vehicle control device 500 can increase the forward gaze distance Lp as the speed V decreases by increasing the forward gaze time Tp as the speed V decreases in the low speed traveling state. Then, the vehicle control device 500 obtains the amount of deviation from the target track at the forward gaze point set based on the forward gaze distance Lp, thereby lowering the responsiveness of the steering angle control as the speed V decreases. As a result, the vehicle control device 500 suppresses the steering angle sufficiently small in a low-speed traveling state such as when the vehicle 200 starts, and suppresses the deflection of the steering angle due to the overshoot and the meandering of the vehicle 200.
- FIG. 10 is a diagram showing one aspect of the correlation between the speed V of the vehicle 200 and the forward gaze distance Lp when the forward gaze distance Lp used in the low-speed traveling state is assigned to each speed V in advance.
- the vehicle control device 500 sets the forward gaze distance Lp longer as the speed V of the vehicle 200 becomes lower.
- the forward gaze distance Lp set according to the table or function for obtaining the gaze distance Lp is adopted.
- the vehicle control device 500 determines the forward gaze distance Lp as described above, thereby lowering the responsiveness of the steering angle control as the speed V decreases, whereby when the vehicle 200 starts, etc.
- the steering angle is suppressed sufficiently small in a low-speed running state to suppress the deflection of the steering angle due to the overshoot and the meandering of the vehicle 200.
- the vehicle control device 500 has a plurality of control methods in which the characteristics of the compensator used for the calculation of the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd are different, in other words, the lateral deviation Yerr and the like due to the different characteristics of the compensator.
- a plurality of control methods having different responsiveness of the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd (pulling, steering angle control amount) are provided, and one of these control methods is selected according to the speed V of the vehicle 200.
- FIG. 11 is a diagram for explaining one aspect of variables used by the vehicle control device 500 for the calculation of the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd.
- the x-axis is the front-rear direction of the vehicle 200
- the y-axis is the lateral direction of the vehicle 200
- the point P on the target track located in the y-axis direction from the vehicle center at the front gaze point and the vehicle center. Let the distance be the lateral deviation Yerr.
- the angle formed by the tangential direction of the target track at the point P and the front-rear axis (x-axis) of the vehicle 200 is defined as an angle deviation ⁇ err
- the vehicle control device 500 calculates the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd for reducing the lateral deviation Yerr and the angular deviation ⁇ err based on the lateral deviation Yerr, the angular deviation ⁇ err, the radius of curvature R, and the velocity V, for example, according to Equation 3. do.
- the vehicle control device 500 reduces the compensators G1, G2, and G3 of the equation 3 as the speed V decreases when the vehicle 200 is in a low-speed running state, that is, the lateral deviation Yerr, the angle deviation ⁇ err, and the curvature 1.
- the gain of the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd with respect to / R is reduced as the velocity V becomes lower to lower the responsiveness.
- the compensator G can be made smaller as the speed V becomes lower to lower the responsiveness. ..
- the vehicle control device 500 can set the forward gazing point to one point and obtain the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd according to the equation 4 based on the lateral deviation Yerr at the forward gazing point.
- the vehicle control device 500 sets the forward gazing points at two points at different distances from the vehicle 200, and issues a lateral acceleration command Ygcmd according to the equation 5 based on the lateral deviations Yerr1 and Yerr2 at the respective forward gazing points. You can ask.
- the lateral deviation Yerr1 is the lateral deviation at the front gaze point on the side closer to the vehicle 200
- the lateral deviation Yerr2 is the lateral deviation at the forward gaze point on the side farther from the vehicle 200.
- the vehicle control device 500 reduces the compensator G of the formula 4 or the compensators G1 and G2 of the formula 5 as the speed V becomes lower in the low speed traveling state, that is, the lateral deviation Yerr or the lateral deviation Yerr1.
- the responsiveness can be lowered by reducing the gain of the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd for Yerr2.
- the vehicle control device 500 changes the size of the compensator used for the calculation of the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd according to the speed V, and lowers the responsiveness of the steering angle control as the speed V decreases.
- a low-speed running state such as when the vehicle 200 starts, the steering angle is suppressed sufficiently small, and the steering angle swing due to overshoot and the meandering of the vehicle 200 are suppressed.
- the compensator that changes the characteristics according to the speed V is not limited to the gain compensation, and the vehicle control device 500 sets the phase compensation characteristics to the speed V when, for example, phase compensation is performed to obtain the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd. It is possible to change the responsiveness of the steering angle control amount by changing it accordingly. Further, the vehicle control device 500 may change the characteristics of a part of the compensators instead of the process of changing the characteristics of all the compensators used to obtain the lateral acceleration command Ygcmd according to the speed V. , The degree of change can be different for each compensator.
- FIG. 12 shows, when switching from the second control method to the first control method at the timing when the speed V becomes larger than the predetermined threshold value Vth, in other words, when switching from the second steering angle control command to the first steering angle control command. It is a time chart showing the change of the steering angle control command due to the switching timing and the switching.
- the second control method is a control method for a low-speed running state with a lower response than the first control method
- the first control method is a medium- and high-speed running with a higher response than the second control method. It is a control method for states.
- the second control method with low response includes a control method for obtaining a steering angle command for pointing the wheel to the target point.
- the vehicle control device 500 changes from the second control method with a low response to the first with a high response.
- the switching timing is determined for the control method, and the second control method with a low response is switched to the first control method with a high response at time t2.
- the vehicle control device 500 switches from the second steering angle control command by the second control method to the first steering angle control command by the first control method at the timing of switching from the low speed running state to the medium / high speed running state. ..
- the vehicle control device 500 switches from the first control method to the second control method at the timing when the speed V reaches the predetermined threshold value Vth in the medium / high speed running state in which the first control method is selected. Can be done.
- the vehicle control device 500 can switch the control method at the timing determined by comparing the speed V and the predetermined threshold value Vth, and the switching determination is a comparison process between the speed V and the predetermined threshold value Vth. Therefore, the calculation load of the vehicle control device 500 is low.
- the control method is switched by comparing the speed V and the predetermined threshold value Vth, depending on the switching timing, the rudder angle control amount in the rudder angle control command by the control method before switching and the rudder angle control command by the control method after switching are used. In some cases, the difference from the control amount of the rudder angle becomes large and the rudder angle is suddenly changed.
- FIG. 13 is a time chart showing a state of switching at the timing when the magnitudes of the steering angle control amounts intersect, and shows a case of switching from the second control method to the first control method.
- the control method before and after the switching If there is a deviation of the steering angle control amount by the steering angle control command by more than a predetermined value, the control method is not switched and the vehicle stands by.
- the vehicle control device 500 found that the difference in the steering angle control amount in the steering angle control command by the control method before and after switching was less than the predetermined value, in other words, the steering angle by both control methods.
- the second control method is switched to the first control method, in other words, the transfer from the second rudder angle control command to the first rudder angle control command is carried out.
- the difference in the rudder angle control amount due to the difference in the control method is performed. Since the switching is performed in a state where there is almost no such thing, it is possible to suppress a sudden change in the steering angle due to the switching of the control method.
- FIG. 13 shows the switching from the second control method to the first control method, but the vehicle control device 500 also switches from the first control method to the second control method after the condition of the speed V is satisfied.
- the vehicle control device 500 switches from the second control method to the first control method. In other words, the transfer from the second steering angle control command to the first steering angle control command is carried out. In this way, even when the magnitudes of the steering angle control amounts by both control methods do not intersect, the vehicle control device 500 switches the control method under the condition of the vehicle speed V, so that the followability to the target trajectory is lowered. It can be deterred.
- the vehicle control device 500 switches from the first control method to the second control method as the speed V decreases, but the second control method is used only when the vehicle 200 starts, and the speed V decreases.
- the switching from the first control method to the second control method is not carried out.
- the switching process of the control method will be described as the seventh embodiment.
- the speed V of the vehicle 200 becomes larger than the predetermined threshold value Vth, and the steering angle control command is issued from the second steering angle control command to the first steering angle control command.
- the speed V is a predetermined threshold value until the vehicle 200 stops. Even if it becomes smaller than Vth or a predetermined threshold value Vth, the output of the first rudder angle control command (in other words, the selection of the first control method with high response) is continued.
- the vehicle control device 500 performs steering angle control using the second steering angle control command by the second control method with low response when the vehicle 200 starts, and the vehicle 200 controls the steering angle.
- the steering angle control is performed by using the first steering angle control command by the first control method with high response.
- FIG. 14 is a time chart showing selection of a control method (in other words, a steering angle control command) when the vehicle 200 is stopped.
- the vehicle control device 500 selects the second control method having a low response in the low speed traveling state from the start of the vehicle 200 until the speed V becomes higher than the predetermined threshold value Vth, and the speed in the state where the second control method is selected.
- V becomes higher than the predetermined threshold value Vth the first control method with high response is switched to.
- FIG. 14 shows a state after the vehicle control device 500 switches to the first control method having a high response as the vehicle 200 starts and accelerates.
- the vehicle 200 starts decelerating from time t1 and stops at time t3, and the speed V crosses a predetermined threshold value Vth at time t2 during deceleration.
- the vehicle control device 500 does not return to the low-response second control method and does not return to the high-response first control. Selection of the method, in other words, the output of the first steering angle control command by the first control method is continued, and the steering angle control is performed by the first control method with high response in the process until the vehicle stops.
- the vehicle control device 500 switches to a second control method having a low response when the vehicle 200 starts after the vehicle has stopped, and has a low response from the start of the vehicle 200 until the speed V increases across a predetermined threshold value Vth.
- the steering angle is controlled by the second control method of.
- the steering angle control is performed by the first control method with high response, so that the vehicle 200 is stopped. It is possible to increase the follow-up response to the target track at the time of making the vehicle stop, and the vehicle 200 can be stopped safely. Further, when the vehicle 200 starts after stopping, the vehicle control device 500 suppresses the occurrence of overshoot of the steering angle control by selecting the second control method having a low response, and the steering angle swing occurs. Suppress doing.
- the vehicle control device 500 uniformly maintains the first control method having a high response when the vehicle 200 is stopped after the speed V rises across a predetermined threshold value Vth, but the speed V. It is possible to switch to the second control method with low response according to the rate of decrease, that is, the negative acceleration. Specifically, in the vehicle control device 500, when the vehicle is in a low-speed running state in which the first control method with high response is maintained, the decrease speed of the speed V is a slow deceleration smaller than the threshold value, or the decrease speed of the speed V is the threshold value. Determine if the deceleration is greater.
- the vehicle control device 500 returns from the high response second control method to the low response first control method at the time of slow deceleration, and maintains the selection of the high response second control method at the time of sudden deceleration.
- the vehicle control device 500 when the vehicle 200 suddenly stops, the follow-up response to the target track can be maintained, the vehicle 200 can be safely stopped, and the steering angle is maintained when the vehicle 200 continues to run at a low speed after deceleration. It is possible to prevent the occurrence of runout.
- the vehicle control device 500 can change the predetermined threshold value Vth to be compared with the speed V in order to determine the switching of the control method according to the acceleration or the negative acceleration of the vehicle 200. Specifically, the vehicle control device 500 is used when the acceleration in the start acceleration is large when the vehicle 200 suddenly starts, when the negative acceleration is large when the vehicle 200 suddenly stops, and when the acceleration or the negative acceleration is small.
- the predetermined threshold Vth can be changed lower than that of the above.
- the predetermined threshold value Vth is changed according to the acceleration or the negative acceleration, when the vehicle 200 suddenly starts, the first control method with high response is quickly switched to, and when the vehicle 200 suddenly stops. Can continue the highly responsive first control method. Therefore, the first control method with high response can be widely applied as much as possible while suppressing the fluctuation of the steering angle due to the overshoot of the steering angle control.
- the process of changing the predetermined threshold value Vth to a low value includes setting the predetermined threshold value Vth to zero.
- the vehicle control device 500 selects a control method for directing the wheels to the target point when the vehicle 200 is in a low-speed traveling state and the target track is far or not, and the target even when the vehicle 200 is in a low-speed traveling state.
- select a control method that obtains a lateral acceleration command according to the deviation and is set to a low response and when running at medium or high speed, issue a lateral acceleration command according to the deviation. It is possible to select a control method that is desired and is set to have a high response.
- the vehicle control device 500 corrects the deviation data used for obtaining the lateral acceleration command to be smaller than the detected value of the deviation in the control method for obtaining the lateral acceleration command according to the deviation, thereby controlling the low response. It can be a method.
