Conventionally, there are clothing having pleats for the purpose of enhancing design or functionality. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a skirt having pleats such as tack pleats and box pleats. By having pleats, it is possible to express a spacious three-dimensional effect and to improve the ease of movement.

Clothes with pleats can express a three-dimensional and deep silhouette by repeatedly folding the fabric inward. However, depending on the movement of the wearer, this folded shape may not be maintained, and the three-dimensional shape peculiar to pleats may be impaired.

An object of the present invention is to provide clothing that can express a silhouette that is more three-dimensional and has a sense of depth.

One aspect of the present invention is clothing (1) having pleats (2). The pleats (2) include a pleated portion (21) in which a portion of the fabric (3) covering the wearer is folded inward. Hereinafter, embodiments of the garment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The configuration described below is an embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited thereto.

The garment of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it has pleats, and examples thereof include garments having pleats such as skirts, dresses, shirts, suits, and coats. Hereinafter, an example of a skirt having pleats will be described.

In the explanation, the upper part means the direction Y1 in the drawing, and the lower part means the direction Y2 in the drawing. The right means the direction X1 in the drawing, and the left means the direction X2 in the drawing. The inside means the side in contact with the wearer, and the outside means the side opposite to the inside.

The skirt 1 of the present embodiment is configured to include a fabric 3 that covers the lower part from the waist of the wearer. The length of the skirt 1 is not particularly limited, but for example, the skirt 1 has a length from the wearer's waist to the ankle.

Skirt 1 has a plurality of pleats 2. The pleats 2 are formed by folding the fabric 3 inward.

The fabric 3 of the present embodiment includes a plurality of first fabrics 31 and a plurality of second fabrics 32. By adding the second fabric 32 to the first fabric 31, the amount of fabric of the skirt 1 can be increased to form beautiful drape-shaped pleats 2.

The first fabric 31 has a length from the upper end to the lower end of the skirt 1. The first fabric 31 has a quadrangular shape.

The second fabric 32 is shorter than the first fabric 31 and has a length from a position separated from the upper end of the skirt 1 to the lower end by a certain distance. The positions of the lower ends of the first fabric 31 and the second fabric 32 are the same. The second fabric 32 has a triangular shape having a base on the lower side.

The first fabric 31 and the second fabric 32 are alternately connected to form the skirt 1. Specifically, a plurality of first fabrics 31 are arranged side by side in the waist circumference direction of the wearer (rotational direction around the Y1-Y2 axis), and a plurality of first fabrics 31 are arranged between the first fabrics 31 on the hem side. Two fabrics 32 are arranged and the ends on both sides in the girth direction of each other are sewn.

The pleats 2 of the present embodiment are provided at a position separated downward by a certain distance from the upper end of the skirt 1 by increasing the amount of fabric in the lower part of the skirt 1 by using the second fabric 32.

When the upper end of the pleats 2 is located above the wearer's knees, a mermaid-shaped three-dimensional shape with a wide hem can be formed. It is possible to provide a skirt 1 having a high design and being easy for the wearer to move.

When forming the fixing portion 22, the second fabric 32 is folded inward along a vertical line 43 extending from the apex 41 of the triangle indicated by the diagonal line toward the bottom of the triangle. At this time, the second fabrics 32 that are folded and the outer surfaces face each other are overlapped so that the positions of the two sides 42 of the triangle extending diagonally downward from the apex 41 are aligned.

The stacked second fabrics 32 are sewn in the middle at the positions of the two sides 42, and the stitch 35 is provided. Middle stitching means sewing on the middle table. In other words, the fabric is folded with the outer surfaces facing each other and sewn from the inner surface.

The length d1 of the stitch 35, that is, the constant distance d1 for sewing the second fabrics 32 to each other is not particularly limited, but is preferably about 2.5 to 4.0 cm, for example. When d1 is 2.5 to 4.0 cm, it is easy to maintain the inwardly folded shape of the pleats 2, and it is easy to maintain the sense of depth of the pleats 2.

When the position of the upper end of the stitch 35, that is, the position of the apex 41 is a position separated downward by a certain distance d2 from the upper end 321 of the triangular second fabric 32, the second fabric 32 can be easily sewn. preferable.

The distance d2 from the upper end 321 of the second fabric 32 to the apex 41 is preferably about 1.5 to 3.0 cm, for example, from the viewpoint of maintaining the inwardly folded shape of the pleats 2.

The distance d3 from the end of the second fabric 32 to the stitch 35 is not particularly limited, but can be, for example, about 0.5 to 1.0 cm. When d3 is 0.5 to 1.0 cm, sewing becomes easy, and a sense of depth of the pleated portion 21 is likely to be formed.

The ratio of the folded portion to the second fabric 32, that is, the ratio of the perpendicular to the length of the perpendicular from the upper end 321 of the second fabric 32 to the bottom of the second fabric 32 is preferably about 1/20. Here, the length of the perpendicular line 43 is set to about 2.4 cm. In this case, it is easy to maintain the inwardly folded shape of the pleats 2, and it is easy to maintain the sense of depth of the pleats 2.

As described above, according to the skirt 1 of the present embodiment, the fixing portion 22 is provided inside the upper portion of the pleated portion 21. In the fixed portion 22, the upper portion of the pleated portion 21 folded inward is further folded inward and sewn together. Since the inward folding shape is fixed, even if the pleated portion 21 is pushed outward by the wearer's movement such as walking, the inward folding shape is less likely to collapse. Therefore, it is possible to maintain the three-dimensional shape of the pleats 2 with a sense of depth.

Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments, and various modifications and changes can be made within the scope of the gist thereof.

For example, in the above embodiment, the cloth 3 of the skirt 1 is composed of the first cloth 31 and the second cloth 32, but three or more kinds of cloths may be used according to the desired shape of the skirt 1. Further, the skirt 1 may be composed of one piece of cloth 3. The pleats 2 can be similarly formed by adjusting the area of one piece of fabric 3.

Further, a natural folded shape can be formed by sewing the second fabric 32 at the positions of the two sides 42 of the triangle as in the above embodiment. However, the sewing position is not limited to this as long as the folded shape can be maintained. For example, the second fabric 32 may be folded so that the positions of two parallel straight lines coincide with each other and sewn at the positions.

The present invention can be applied not only to the pleats 2 of the skirt 1 described above. For example, by providing the above-mentioned fixing portion 22 on the pleats provided on the hem of the dress, the pleats provided on the back side of the shirt, the pleats provided on the cuffs, etc., the three-dimensional shape with a sense of depth of the pleats can be maintained. ..

Further, the present invention may be applied to maintain the three-dimensional shape of the drape in which the folds are formed without folding, instead of the pleats 2 in which the folds are formed by folding the cloth.
