Abstract

An energy recovery system (31) for an aircraft (200) is provided. The energy recovery system (31) is for an aircraft (200). The aircraft (200) comprises a plurality of motors, the plurality of motors comprising at least one driving motor (208), each driving motor (208) being configured to provide drive to a propeller (206) of a propulsion system of the aircraft (200). The energy recovery system (31) comprises a transducer assembly (212) arranged to selectively interact with rotation of the propeller (206) driven by the driving motor (208) to extract energy from the rotation.
