- the frequency resolution is limited to the time width.
- a waveform having a time width of one cycle of the analysis signal is used as a basic waveform, and the analysis signal is expressed by superimposing a basic waveform and a waveform having a constant multiple cycle of the basic waveform. (Received signal) is received, and the mixer 14 mixes the transmitted signal and the received signal to obtain a beat signal.
- the frequency estimation unit 15 convolves the discrete signal value sequence of the beat signal only within the interval of the beat signal to obtain the auto-correlation coefficient, and calculates the auto-regressive coefficient of the autoregressive model using the obtained auto-correlation coefficient. Then, the frequency of the beat signal is estimated using the base frequency based on the poles of the autoregressive model.
- the distance estimation unit 16 estimates the distance to the object 100 based on the frequency of the beat signal.
- the radar device 1 of the present embodiment can estimate the frequency with high accuracy without being limited by the bandwidth B of the frequency chirp signal, so that the measurement accuracy of the radar device 1 is improved.
- the velocity and angle of the object can also be measured by the radar device 1 of the present embodiment as in Non-Patent Document 1.
- the frequency estimation method of the present embodiment is not limited to the FMCW radar, but is a continuous wave that transmits a signal having a constant frequency or a continuous wave signal obtained by modifying the signal. It is commonly applicable to radar.
- Doppler FFT In order to estimate the speed from the continuous wave radar (CW radar), an analysis method called Doppler FFT is used. This is a method of obtaining the velocity by Fourier transform by utilizing the fact that the phase change velocity of the beat signal is proportional to the velocity of the object. By using the frequency estimation method proposed when determining the phase change speed, it is possible to improve the resolution of speed measurement.
- Angle FFT an analysis method used to estimate the angle between the transmitter / receiver and an object using a plurality of transmitting antennas and a plurality of receiving antennas.
- This is a method of obtaining the reflection intensity at various angles by Fourier transforming the phase between the antennas by utilizing the fact that the phase of the beat signal obtained by each receiving antenna differs depending on the direction of the incoming radio wave.
- the angular resolution can be improved by using the frequency estimation method proposed when determining the amount of phase change between antennas.

Description

a0=1とすると以下の関係が成り立つ。
ただし、s[n]=0,(n<0 or N-1<n)とする。
