Definitions
- the embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a foldable display screen, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device.
- a folding screen mobile phone includes a foldable display screen; the foldable display screen can be folded in the middle of the screen, so that the foldable display screen can have two states, a folded state and an unfolded state.
- the foldable display screen When the foldable display screen is in the folded state, the foldable screen mobile phone occupies a small area, which is convenient for carrying and one-handed operation; when the foldable display screen is in the unfolded state, the display area of the foldable screen mobile phone is larger and has better Visual experience and richer functions.
- foldable display screens are generally divided into foldable display screens that are bent inside and foldable display screens that are bent outside.
- Inwardly bent foldable display screen means that the bending direction of the foldable display screen is the light emitting direction of the foldable display screen, so that the light emitting surfaces on both sides of the bending area face each other; the outwardly bent foldable display The screen means that the bending direction of the foldable display screen is opposite to the light-emitting direction of the foldable display screen, so that the light-emitting surfaces on both sides of the bending area are opposite to each other.
- the embodiments of the present disclosure provide a foldable display screen, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device.
- the foldable display screen can not only avoid defects such as cracks in the weakly tolerable film in the foldable display screen, but also reduce or even avoid glue overflow by setting different sizes of optical glue in the bending area and the non-bending area. The occurrence of the phenomenon.
- At least one embodiment of the present disclosure provides a foldable display screen, which includes: a display panel including a bending area and a non-bending area; and an optical adhesive layer on the display panel, the bending area being configured to Bending with an axis extending in a first direction, the non-bending area is located on at least one side of the bending area in a second direction, the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction, and the optical adhesive layer includes The first part and the second part The first part is located in the bending zone, the edge of the first part in the first direction overlaps the edge of the bending zone in the first direction, and the first part The two parts are located in the non-bending area and are spaced apart from the edge of the non-bending area in the first direction.
- the size of the first part in the first direction is the same as the size of the bending area in the first direction, and The size of the two parts in the first direction is smaller than the size of the non-bending area in the first direction.
- the size of the interval in the first direction ranges from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm.
- the size range of the interval in the first direction is 0.15-0.25 mm.
- the planar shape of the optical adhesive layer includes a rectangle and two rectangular protrusions on both sides of the rectangle, and the two rectangular protrusions are respectively located on the curved surface. The two edges of the folding area in the first direction.
- the two rectangular protrusions are mirror-symmetrical about the bisector of the bending area in the second direction.
- the non-bending area is located on both sides of the bending area in the second direction.
- the thickness of the optical adhesive layer ranges from 40 to 60 microns.
