Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système de commande d'un appareil électroménager, notamment une plaque de cuisson. Le procédé comprend l'étape consistant à démarrer un minuteur, soit automatiquement si l'appareil électroménager est laissé sans surveillance, soit manuellement par un utilisateur, par exemple par réglage d'un niveau de puissance. Le temporisateur est arrêté si l'utilisateur est à nouveau présent dans l'environnement de l'appareil électroménager. Si le temporisateur a atteint une valeur seuil, alors un niveau de puissance de l'appareil électroménager est réduit et/ou un signal est délivré.
