Abstract

La présente invention concerne un melon Vital qui est une descendance de première génération du croisement d'un melon oriental sauvage (Cucumis melo var. makuwa Makino) et d'un melon cultivé (Cucumis melo var. reticulatus); une composition anti-obésité comprenant un extrait du melon Vital; une composition pharmaceutique pour prévenir ou traiter l'obésité comprenant la composition anti-obésité ; et un aliment santé fonctionnel anti-obésité comprenant la composition anti-obésité. Le melon Vital de la présente invention, qui est une descendance de première génération du croisement d'un melon oriental sauvage (Cucumis melo var. makuwa Makino) et d'un melon cultivé (Cucumis melo var. reticulatus), présente un excellent effet anti-obésité et a plus de chair que les variétés sauvages existantes de melon oriental, ce qui permet d'obtenir une excellente productivité. De plus, l'extrait du melon Vital est un produit naturel et est donc sain; et sur la base de l'effet anti-obésité du melon Vital, peut être utilisé dans une composition pharmaceutique anti-obésité ou un aliment santé fonctionnel anti-obésité, et peut ainsi être largement utilisé dans les industries pharmaceutiques et d'aliments santé fonctionnels.
