Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif (4) destiné à refroidir séquentiellement des produits larges plats (3) métalliques, comprenant au moins une poutre froide (13) et un équipement d'alimentation destiné à alimenter la poutre froide (13) en un fluide réfrigérant, la poutre froide (13) comportant une chambre de fluide, au moins une rangée d'évacuations de fluide s'étendant le long d'un axe longitudinal de la chambre de fluide et au moins un équipement de variation agencé au moins partiellement à l'intérieur de la chambre de fluide destiné à faire varier une longueur de la rangée d'évacuations de fluide au niveau d'au moins une zone d'extrémité de la chambre de fluide. Le dispositif (4) comporte au moins une électronique de commande et/ou de réglage (14) connectée à l'équipement d'alimentation et à l'équipement de variation, qui sert à commander l'équipement d'alimentation et l'équipement de variation de telle sorte qu'un flux volumique du fluide réfrigérant sortant des évacuations de fluide de la rangée d'évacuations de fluide réduite lorsqu'une rangée d'évacuations de fluide réduite est présente est renforcé, par rapport à un flux volumique du fluide réfrigérant sortant de l'évacuation de fluide respective de la rangée d'évacuations de fluide maximale lorsqu'une rangée d'évacuations de fluide maximale est présente, d'un flux volumique de fluide réfrigérant qui correspond à au moins une partie d'un flux volumique du fluide réfrigérant qui sort des évacuations de fluide respectives de la rangée d'évacuations de fluide maximale, lorsque la rangée d'évacuations de fluide maximale est présente, qui sont fermées au moyen de l'équipement de variation lorsque la rangée d'évacuations de fluide réduite est présente.
