Definitions
- the present invention relates to a photocatalyst body having tungsten oxide particles as nuclei and a photocatalyst member using the same, and more particularly to a photocatalyst body having tungsten oxide particles as nuclei capable of sufficient photocatalytic reaction even in indoor illuminance and a photocatalyst member using the same. ..
- tungsten oxide particles are irradiated with light having an energy equal to or higher than the band gap. Electrons in the valence band are excited in the conduction band, holes are generated in the valence band, and the excited electrons have strong oxidizing power. Since it has a strong reducing power, it is known to exert an oxidative reduction action on the contacted substance. Such a redox action is called a photocatalytic action.
- Patent Document 1 a semiconductor photocatalyst precursor solution is heat-aged in the presence of a peroxide, then dried, and the obtained solid substance is fired to form a secondary structure that traps light.
- the manufacturing method of is disclosed.
- the semiconductor photocatalyst produced by the method for producing a semiconductor photocatalyst disclosed in Patent Document 1 still has some problems.
- the light intensity space in a room is the brightest place in the room with an illuminance of about 1000 lux, which indicates the brightness of light, in a place where an illuminator is located directly above, such as a desk or table for reading and writing.
- Most of the curtains, wallpaper, floors, etc. have an illuminance of only about 500 lux, and even the most active platinum-supported tungsten oxide photocatalyst using the current tungsten oxide, the illuminance at which the photocatalytic effect can be obtained. Is not effective enough without 1000 lux.
