Definitions
- the present invention relates to a 5'-modified nucleoside and a nucleotide using the same. More specifically, it relates to a 5'-modified nucleoside that has good nuclease resistance and can be efficiently produced, and a nucleotide using the same.
- antisense method inhibits the translation process of pathogenic RNA by introducing an oligonucleotide (antisense strand) complementary to mRNA involved in disease from the outside to form a double strand, thereby treating disease. It is a method to prevent and prevent. Similar to this, siRNA inhibits translation of mRNA into protein by double-stranded RNA administered to the living body.
- the antigene method suppresses transcription from DNA to RNA by externally introducing a triplex-forming oligonucleotide corresponding to a DNA site that transcribes pathogenic RNA. Since an aptamer is a short nucleic acid molecule (oligonucleotide), it exhibits a function by binding to a biological component such as a protein that causes a disease.
