Abstract
Description
本出願は、2019年2月1日に出願された、日本国特許出願第2019-016589号明細書及び2019年5月24日に出願された、日本国特許出願第2019-097385号明細書(その開示全体が参照により本明細書中に援用される)に基づく優先権を主張する。
本発明は、着色ベース塗膜と、前記着色ベース塗膜の上に形成される光輝ベース塗膜とを備えた複層塗膜に関する。
項1.着色ベース塗膜と、前記着色ベース塗膜の上に形成される光輝ベース塗膜とを備えた複層塗膜であって、
L*C*h表色系色度図の色相角度hの値が30°から70°までの範囲内にあり、
X=[(C*45)2+(C*75)2]1/2とし、
Y=[(L*15)2+(C*15)2]1/2+[(L*25)2+(C*25)2]1/2としたときに、
Xが80以上であり、かつYが140以上である複層塗膜。
(ただし、C*15、C*25、C*45及びC*75は、入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に15度、25度、45度、及び75度の各受光角度における複層塗膜の彩度を表し、h値は入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に45度で受光した複層塗膜の色相を表し、L*15及びL*25は入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に15度、25度の各受光角度における複層塗膜の明度を表す。)
項2.入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に5度の角度で受光したときの分光反射率に基づくXYZ表色系における輝度を示すY値(Y5)と、入射光方向に15度の角度で受光したときの分光反射率に基づくXYZ表色系における輝度を示すY値(Y15)の比(Y5/Y15)が2.4以上である項1に記載の複層塗膜。
項3.粒子感の測定値(HG値)が60以下である項1又は2に記載の複層塗膜。
項4.光輝ベース塗膜が、光輝ベース塗膜100質量部を基準として、固形分で20~70質量部の光干渉性顔料を含有する項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の複層塗膜。
項5.光輝ベース塗膜が、光輝ベース塗膜100質量部を基準として、固形分で15質量部以下の着色顔料を含有する項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の複層塗膜。
項6.光輝ベース塗膜の上にクリヤー塗膜をさらに備える項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の複層塗膜。
項7.項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の複層塗膜を備えた対象物。
項8.下記の工程(1)~(3):
工程(1)被塗物上に着色ベース塗料(X)を塗装して、着色ベース塗膜を形成する工程、
工程(2)前記着色ベース塗膜の上に、光輝ベース塗料(Y)を塗装して、光輝ベース塗膜を形成する工程、及び
工程(3)前記工程(1)で形成された前記着色ベース塗膜及び前記工程(2)で形成された前記光輝ベース塗膜を別々に又は同時に加熱することにより、硬化させる工程
を含む複層塗膜の形成方法であって、前記複層塗膜は、
L*C*h表色系色度図の色相角度hの値が30°から70°までの範囲内にあり、

Y=[(L*15)2+(C*15)2]1/2+[(L*25)2+(C*25)2]1/2としたときに、
Xが80以上であり、かつYが140以上である複層塗膜形成方法。
項9.前記光輝ベース塗料(Y)は、水、光干渉性顔料、表面調整剤、及び粘性調整剤を含有する項8に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
項10.前記光輝ベース塗料(Y)は、光輝ベース塗料固形分100質量部を基準として、光干渉性顔料を固形分で20~70質量部含有する項8又は9に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
項11.前記光輝ベース塗膜の乾燥膜厚が0.2~4.5μmである項8~10のいずれか一項に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
L*C*h表色系色度図の色相角度hの値が30°から70°までの範囲内にあり、
X=[(C*45)2+(C*75)2]1/2 (式1)とし、
Y=[(L*15)2+(C*15)2]1/2+[(L*25)2+(C*25)2]1/2(式2)としたときに、Xが80以上であり、かつYが140以上である複層塗膜である。
次に、本発明の複層塗膜の各塗膜の構成について説明する。
着色ベース塗膜は、通常、樹脂成分及び着色顔料を含有するものであり、着色ベース塗料(X)を塗装し、好ましくは乾燥して形成される。
光輝ベース塗膜は、通常、光干渉性顔料、表面調整剤、及び粘性調整剤を含有することができる。
(Y)の粘度は、真珠光沢感に優れる塗膜を得る観点から、温度20℃においてB型粘度計で測定する60rpmで1分後の粘度(本明細書では「B60値」ということがある)が好ましくは50~900mPa・s、より好ましくは100~800mPa・sである。このとき、使用する粘度計は、デジタル式ビスメトロン粘度計VDA型(芝浦システム社製、B型粘度計)である。

クリヤー塗膜は、通常、クリヤー塗料(Z)を塗装し、好ましくは乾燥して形成される。
クリヤー塗料(Z)は、基体樹脂と硬化剤とを含有する1液型クリヤー塗料であることもできるし、又は水酸基含有樹脂及びポリイソシアネート化合物を有する2液型クリヤー塗料であることもできる。
工程(1)被塗物上に着色ベース塗料(X)を塗装して、着色ベース塗膜を形成する工程、
工程(2)前記着色ベース塗膜の上に、光輝ベース塗料(Y)を塗装して、光輝ベース塗膜を形成する工程、及び
工程(3)前記工程(1)で形成された前記着色ベース塗膜及び前記工程(2)で形成された前記光輝ベース塗膜を別々に又は同時に加熱することにより、硬化させる工程
を含み、好ましくは、下記の工程(1)、(2)、(4)及び(5):
工程(1)被塗物上に着色ベース塗料(X)を塗装して、着色ベース塗膜を形成する工程、
工程(2)前記着色ベース塗膜の上に、光輝ベース塗料(Y)を塗装して、光輝ベース塗膜を形成する工程、
工程(4)前記光輝ベース塗膜の上に、クリヤー塗料(Z)を塗装して、クリヤー塗膜を形成する工程、及び
工程(5)前記工程(1)で形成された前記着色ベース塗膜、前記工程(2)で形成された前記光輝ベース塗膜及び前記工程(4)で形成された前記クリヤー塗膜を別々に又は同時に加熱することにより、硬化させる工程
を含むものである。
製造例1
温度計、サーモスタット、撹拌装置、還流冷却器、窒素導入管及び滴下装置を備えた反応容器に脱イオン水128部、及び「アデカリアソープSR-1025」(商品名、ADEKA製、乳化剤、有効成分25%)2部を仕込み、窒素気流中で撹拌混合し、80℃に昇温させた。
製造例2
温度計、サーモスタット、撹拌装置、還流冷却器、窒素導入管及び滴下装置を備えた反応容器にプロピレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル35部を仕込み85℃に昇温後、メチルメタクリレート30部、2-エチルヘキシルアクリレート20部、n-ブチルアクリレート29部、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート15部、アクリル酸6部、プロピレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル15部及び2,2’-アゾビス(2,4-ジメチルバレロニトリル)2.3部の混合物を4時間かけて滴下し、滴下終了後1時間熟成した。その後さらにプロピレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル10部及び2,2’-アゾビス(2,4-ジメチルバレロニトリル)1部の混合物を1時間かけて滴下し、滴下終了後1時間熟成した。さらにジエタノールアミン7.4部を加え、固形分55%のアクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を得た。得られた水酸基含有アクリル樹脂は酸価が47mgKOH/g、水酸基価が72mgKOH/g、重量平均分子量が58000であった。
製造例3
温度計、サーモスタット、攪拌装置、還流冷却器及び水分離器を備えた反応容器に、トリメチロールプロパン109部、1,6-ヘキサンジオール141部、1,2-シクロヘキサンジカルボン酸無水物126部及びアジピン酸120部を仕込み、160℃から230℃迄3時間かけて昇温させた後、230℃で4時間縮合反応させた。次いで、得られた縮合反応生成物に、カルボキシル基を導入するために、無水トリメリット酸38.3部を加えて、170℃で30分間反応させた後、2-エチル-1-ヘキサノールで希釈し、固形分70%のポリエステル樹脂溶液(R-3)を得た。得られた水酸基含有ポリエステル樹脂は、酸価が46mgKOH/g、水酸基価が150mgKOH/g、数平均分子量が1400であった。
製造例4
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を327部(固形分で180部)、脱イオン水360部、サーフィノール104A(商品名、エアープロダクツ社製消泡剤、固形分50%)6部、及びバリファインBF-20(商品名、堺化学工業社製、硫酸バリウム粉末、平均粒子径0.03μm)250部を、ペイントコンディショナー中に入れ、ガラスビーズ媒体を加えて、室温で1時間混合分散し、固形分44%の体質顔料分散液(P-1)を得た。
製造例5
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を182部(固形分で100部)、「YELLOW 2GLMA」(商品名、DOMINION COLOR CORPORATION社製、バナジウム酸ビスマス顔料)301部及び脱イオン水439部を混合し、2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールでpH8.6に調整した後、ペイントシェーカーで2時間分散して固形分43.0%の黄色顔料分散液(P-2)を得た。
製造例6
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を182部(固形分で100部)、「IRGAZIN RED L3660HD」(商品名、BASF社製、ジケトピロロピロール系顔料)499部及び脱イオン水478部を混合し、2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールでpH7.7に調整した後、ペイントシェーカーで2時間分散して固形分51.4%の赤色顔料分散液(P-3)を得た。
製造例7
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を182部(固形分で100部)、「TITANIX JR-903」(商品名、テイカ株式会社製、酸化チタン)1010部及び脱イオン水479部を混合し、2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールでpH9.0に調整した後、ペイントシェーカーで2時間分散して固形分66.0%の白色顔料分散液(P-4)を得た。
製造例8
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を182部(固形分で100部)、「DAIPYROXIDE TM RED 8270」(商品名、大日精化工業 株式会社製、ベンガラ)152部及び脱イオン水429部を混合し、2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールでpH8.8に調整した後、ペイントシェーカーで2時間分散して固形分32.7%の茶色顔料分散液(P-5)を得た。
製造例9
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を182部(固形分で100部)、「MAROON 179 229-6438」(商品名、SUN CHEMICAL CORPORATION社製、有機ペリレン顔料)150部及び脱イオン水479部を混合し、2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールでpH7.5に調整した後、ペイントシェーカーで2時間分散して固形分30.6%の赤色顔料分散液(P-6)を得た。
製造例10
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を182部(固形分で100部)、「IRGAZIN COSMORAY ORANGE L2950」(商品名、BASF社製、ジケトピロロピロール系顔料)100部及び脱イオン水614部を混合し、2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールでpH7.6に調整した後、ペイントシェーカーで2時間分散して固形分22.2%の橙色顔料分散液(P-7)を得た。
製造例11
アクリル樹脂溶液(R-2)を182部(固形分で100部)、「RUBIN L4025」(商品名、BASF社製、ジケトピロロピロール系赤色顔料)150部及び脱イオン水440部を混合し、2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールでpH7.7に調整した後、ペイントシェーカーで2時間分散して固形分32.2%の赤色顔料分散液(P-8)を得た。

攪拌混合容器に、体質顔料分散液(P-1)を固形分で14部、アクリル樹脂水分散体(R-1)を固形分で40部、ポリエステル樹脂溶液(R-3)を固形分で23部、「ユーコートUX-310」(商品名、三洋化成社製、ウレタン樹脂水分散体、固形分含有率40%)を固形分で10部、及び「サイメル251」(商品名、日本サイテックインダストリーズ社製、メラミン樹脂、固形分含有率80%)を固形分で27部となるように添加して攪拌混合し、透明ベース塗料(W-1)を調製した。
製造例13
攪拌混合容器に、WP522H(商品名、関西ペイント社製、水性中塗り塗料)のエナメルクリヤを入れ、該WP522Hの樹脂固形分100質量部に対して、「YELLOW 2GLMA」が8質量部となるように黄色顔料分散液(P-2)を添加、「IRGAZIN RED L3660HD」が2質量部となるように赤色顔料分散液(P-3)を添加、及び「TITANIX JR-903」が1.1部となるように白色顔料分散液(P-4)を添加して攪拌混合し、着色ベース塗料(X-1)を調製した。
製造例14
攪拌混合容器に、透明ベース塗料(W-1)を入れ、該(W-1)中の樹脂固形分100質量部に対して「YELLOW 2GLMA」が20質量部となるように黄色顔料分散液(P-2)を添加、「IRGAZIN RED L3660HD」が5質量部となるように赤色顔料分散液(P-3)を添加、及び「TITANIX JR-903」が2.7部となるように白色顔料分散液(P-4)を添加して攪拌混合し、着色ベース塗料(X-2)を調製した。
製造例15
攪拌混合容器に、透明ベース塗料(W-1)を入れ、該(W-1)中の樹脂固形分100質量部に対して「TITANIX JR-903」が2.3質量部となるように白色顔料分散液(P-4)を添加、「RUBIN L4025」が7.7質量部となるように赤色顔料分散液(P-8)を添加、「IRGAZIN RED L3660HD」が10.1質量部となるように赤色顔料分散液(P-3)を添加して攪拌混合し、着色ベース塗料(X-3)を調製した。
製造例16
WP522H(商品名、関西ペイント社製、水性中塗り塗料)のエナメルクリヤを入れ、該WP522Hの樹脂固形分100質量部に対して、「TITANIX JR-903」を20部となるように白色顔料分散液(P-3)を添加して攪拌混合し、着色ベース塗料(X-4)を調製した。
製造例17
攪拌混合容器に、蒸留水を78.1部、粘性調整剤(A-1)を18.2部(固形分で0.6部)、光干渉性顔料(B-1)を1.3部(固形分で1.3部)、アクリル樹脂水分散体(R-1)を0.8部(固形分で0.3部)、表面調整剤(C-1)を0.5部(固形分で0.5部)、紫外線吸収剤(D-1)を0.4部(固形分で0.2部)、光安定剤(E-1)を0.3部(0.1部)、ジメチルエタノールアミンを0.01部、及びエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルを0.5部となるように添加して攪拌混合し、光輝ベース塗料(Y-1)を調整した。
(A-1)「レオクリスタ」(商品名、第一工業製薬社製、セルロースナノファイバー、固形分:2%)
(B-1)「Pyrisma(登録商標) M40-58 SW Ambercup Orange」(商品名、メルク社製、酸化鉄/酸化チタン被覆天然マイカ着色オレンジパール、固形分100%)
(C-1)「Dynol604」(商品名、エボニックインダストリーズ社製、アセチレンジオール系表面調整剤、固形分100%)
(D-1)「TINUVIN 479-DW(N)」(商品名、BASF社製、紫外線吸収剤、固形分40%)
(E-1)「TINUVIN 123-DW(N)」(商品名、BASF社製、光安定剤、固形分50%)。
表1に記載の配合とする以外は全て製造例17と同様にして光輝ベース塗料(Y-2)~(Y-14)を得た。
(A-2)「Acrysol ASE-60」(商品名、ダウケミカル社製、ポリアクリル酸系粘性調整剤、固形分:28%)
(B-2)「Colorstream(登録商標) F20-51 SW Lava Red」(商品名、メルク社製、酸化鉄被覆シリカフレーク着色レッドパール、固形分100%)
(B-3)「Xirallic(登録商標) T61-10 Micro Silver」(商品名、メルク社製、酸化チタン被覆アルミナフレーク顔料、固形分100%)
(B-4)「Xirallic(登録商標) T60-10 Crystal Silver」(商品名、メルク社製、酸化チタン被覆アルミナフレーク顔料、固形分100%)
(C-2)「BYK348」(商品名、BYK社製、シリコーン系表面調整剤、固形分100%)
クリヤー塗料(Z-1)
「KINO6510」(商品名:関西ペイント株式会社、水酸基/イソシアネート基硬化型アクリル樹脂・ウレタン樹脂系2液型有機溶剤型塗料)を、クリヤー塗料(Z-1)として用いた。
「マジクロンTC-69」(商品名:関西ペイント株式会社、アクリル及びメラミン樹脂系1液型有機溶剤型塗料)を、クリヤー塗料(Z-2)として用いた。
脱脂及びリン酸亜鉛処理した鋼板(JISG3141、大きさ400×300×0.8mm)にカチオン電着塗料「エレクロン9400HB」(商品名:関西ペイント社製、アミン変性エポキシ樹脂系カチオン樹脂に硬化剤としてブロックポリイソシアネート化合物を使用したもの)を硬化塗膜に基づいて膜厚20μmになるように電着塗装し、170℃で20分加熱して架橋硬化させた後、その上に白色中塗り塗料「TP-65」(商品名、関西ペイント社製、ポリエステル樹脂系溶剤中塗り塗料、得られる塗膜のL*値:85)を回転霧化型のベル型塗装機を用いて、硬化膜厚35μmになるように静電塗装し、140℃で30分加熱して架橋硬化させて被塗物1を得た。
脱脂及びリン酸亜鉛処理した鋼板(JISG3141、大きさ400×300×0.8mm)にカチオン電着塗料「エレクロン9400HB」(商品名:関西ペイント社製、アミン変性エポキシ樹脂系カチオン樹脂に硬化剤としてブロックポリイソシアネート化合物 を使用したもの)を硬化塗膜に基づいて膜厚20μmになるように電着塗装し、170℃ で20分加熱して架橋硬化させて被塗物2を得た。
実施例1
被塗物1上に、着色ベース塗料(X-1)を回転霧化型のベル型塗装機を用いて、硬化膜厚25μmになるように静電塗装し、3分間放置し、着色ベース塗膜を形成した。

表2に記載の被塗物、着色ベース塗料(X)及び乾燥膜厚、光輝ベース塗料(Y)及び乾燥膜厚、クリヤー塗料(Z)とする以外は全て実施例1と同様にして試験板を得た。
被塗物2上に、「WP-523H N-8.0」(商品名:関西ペイント株式会社、水性中塗り塗料)をABB社製ロボットベルを用いて、ブース温度2 3℃、湿度68%の条件で乾燥塗膜として、30μmになるように静電塗装した。3分間放置し、その後、80℃にて3分間プレヒートし、明度L*45が80である中塗り塗膜を形成した。
X、Yの計算
塗膜に対して45度の角度から照射した光を、正反射光に対してそれぞれ15度、25度、45度、75度及び110度で受光した分光反射率からL*C*h*表色系における彩度C*15、C*25、C*45、C*75及びC*110を算出した。測定には、多角度分光光度計(x-rite社製、商品名、MA-68II)を使用した。
X=[(C*45)2+(C*75)2]1/2、
Y=[(L*15)2+(C*15)2]1/2+[(L*25)2+(C*25)2]1/2。
村上色彩研究所製の測色計「ゴニオメーターGCMS-4(商品名)」を用いて、塗膜に45度の角度で照射した光を正反射光に対して入射光方向に5度の角度で受光したときの分光反射率に基づいて、XYZ表色系における輝度Y値(Y5)を計算し、さらに塗膜に45度の角度で照射した光を正反射光に対して入射光方向に15度の角度で受光したときの分光反射率に基づいて、XYZ表色系における輝度Y値(Y15)を計算し、(Y5/Y15)を算出した。
HG値は、Hi-light Graininess値の略称である。HG値は、塗膜面を微視的に観察した場合におけるミクロ光輝感の尺度の一つであり、ハイライトにおける粒子感を表す指標である。HG値は、次のようにして、算出される。先ず、塗膜面を、光の入射角15度/受光角0度にてCCDカメラで撮影し、得られたデジタル画像データ(2次元の輝度分布データ)を2次元フーリエ変換処理して、パワースペクトル画像を得る。次に、このパワースペクトル画像から、粒子感に対応する空間周波数領域のみを抽出して得られた計測パラメータを、更に0~100の数値を取り、且つ粒子感との間に直線的な関係が保たれるように変換した値が、HG値である。HG値は、光輝性顔料の粒子感が全くないものを0とし、光輝性顔料の粒子感が最も大きいものを100とした値である。
塗膜に対して45度から照射した光を正反射光に対して入射光方向に45度で受光したときの分光反射率に基づいて計算されたL*C*h表色系色度図における、色相角度hを表2に示した。測定には、多角度分光光度計(x-rite社製、商品名、MA-68II)を使用した。
Claims (11)
- 着色ベース塗膜と、前記着色ベース塗膜の上に形成される光輝ベース塗膜とを備えた複層塗膜であって、
L*C*h表色系色度図の色相角度hの値が30°から70°までの範囲内にあり、
X=[(C*45)2+(C*75)2]1/2とし、
Y=[(L*15)2+(C*15)2]1/2+[(L*25)2+(C*25)2]1/2としたときに、
Xが80以上であり、かつYが140以上である複層塗膜。
(ただし、C*15、C*25、C*45及びC*75は、入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に15度、25度、45度、及び75度の各受光角度における複層塗膜の彩度を表し、h値は入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に45度で受光した複層塗膜の色相を表し、L*15及びL*25は入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に15度、25度の各受光角度における複層塗膜の明度を表す。) - 入射角度45度で照射した光に対し、正反射光に対して入射光方向に5度の角度で受光したときの分光反射率に基づくXYZ表色系における輝度を示すY値(Y5)と、入射光方向に15度の角度で受光したときの分光反射率に基づくXYZ表色系における輝度を示すY値(Y15)の比(Y5/Y15)が2.4以上である請求項1に記載の複層塗膜。
- 粒子感の測定値(HG値)が60以下である請求項1に記載の複層塗膜。
- 光輝ベース塗膜が、光輝ベース塗膜固形分100質量部を基準として、固形分で20~70質量部の光干渉性顔料を含有する請求項1に記載の複層塗膜。
- 光輝ベース塗膜が、光輝ベース塗膜固形分100質量部を基準として、固形分で15質量部以下の着色顔料を含有する請求項1に記載の複層塗膜。
- 光輝ベース塗膜の上にクリヤー塗膜をさらに備える請求項1に記載の複層塗膜。
- 請求項1に記載の複層塗膜を備えた対象物。
- 下記の工程(1)~(3):
工程(1)被塗物上に着色ベース塗料(X)を塗装して、着色ベース塗膜を形成する工程、
工程(2)前記着色ベース塗膜の上に、光輝ベース塗料(Y)を塗装して、光輝ベース塗膜を形成する工程、及び
工程(3)前記工程(1)で形成された前記着色ベース塗膜及び前記工程(2)で形成された前記光輝ベース塗膜を別々に又は同時に加熱することにより、硬化させる工程
を含む複層塗膜の形成方法であって、前記複層塗膜は、
L*C*h表色系色度図の色相角度hの値が30°から70°までの範囲内にあり、
X=[(C*45)2+(C*75)2]1/2とし、
Y=[(L*15)2+(C*15)2]1/2+[(L*25)2+(C*25)2]1/2としたときに、
Xが80以上であり、かつYが140以上である複層塗膜形成方法。 - 前記光輝ベース塗料(Y)は、水、光干渉性顔料、表面調整剤、及び粘性調整剤を含有する請求項8に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
- 前記光輝ベース塗料(Y)は、光輝ベース塗料固形分100質量部を基準として、光干渉性顔料を固形分で20~70質量部含有する請求項8に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
- 前記光輝ベース塗膜の乾燥膜厚が0.2~4.5μmである請求項8に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
