- This effect is an effect that is also exhibited in the case of the second pattern 120.
- the wiring portion 114 of the first pattern 110 extends 45° or more and 135° or less with respect to the pad 112, specifically, in a direction orthogonal to the pad 112.

- the electromagnetic wave W may not be detected stably. Therefore, in the case of the present embodiment, the pad 112 easily exhibits the function as a monopole antenna that detects the electromagnetic wave W having the wavelength ⁇ . This effect is an effect that is also exhibited in the case of the second pattern 120.
- the electromagnetic wave detection device 30 of the present embodiment arranges a plurality of combinations for detecting polarized waves in two directions linearly by one detection element 60 and the basic pattern 100, and linearly irradiates the electromagnetic wave W having the wavelength ⁇ . However, in the imaging device, the number of SBDs (corresponding to the detection element 60 of the present embodiment) is twice as large as that of the present embodiment.
- the electromagnetic wave detection device 30 of the present embodiment detects polarization in two directions by reducing the number of detection elements 60 by half (or about that) as compared with the imaging devices disclosed in Non-Patent Documents 1 and 2. can do. Accordingly, the electromagnetic wave detection device 30 of the present embodiment has a high degree of freedom in the layout of the detection elements 60 on the wiring board 70.
