 近年、銀行のATM(Automated Teller Machine、現金自動支払機)、携帯電話機、スマートフォン、タブレット、パーソナルコンピュータ(PC)等において、使用者を特定するために、使用者の指紋、静脈、声紋、虹彩等の生体パターンによる個人認証の必要性が増大している。その中でも、指紋は最も歴史が古く、実績のある生体認証方式である。古くから全反射プリズムを用いた指紋認証装置が実用化されているが、現状では小型化が難しいため、ノートパソコン、携帯電話機、スマートフォン、タブレットなどの携帯端末には不向きとされていた。このような状況に鑑み、薄型化および小型化の進んだ様々な指紋認証装置の開発がなされてきている。
 例えば特許文献1には、配線基板上の固体撮像素子の横に照明用光源としてLEDを配置し、当該照明用のLEDから出た光が指内部に入り、散乱光が指紋を通過して固体撮像素子に入り、指紋パターンを認識する方法が開示されている。
 また、特許文献2には、固体撮像素子の横に照明用LEDが配置され、当該照明用LEDから出た光が保護部材を通過して指内部に入り、散乱光が指紋、保護部材を通過して固体撮像素子に入り、指紋パターンを認識する方法が開示されている。
 また、特許文献3および4には、回路基板上にイメージセンサー(固体撮像素子)および保護部材を積層配置し、保護部材表面に指を密着させる方法で、回路基板上で光センサーの横に照明用LEDが配置され、その光を、ライトガイドを通して指に当てる方法が開示されている。
 しかしながら、上記で提案されている各指紋認証装置においては、ヘモグロビン由来の指の赤みを検出してしまい、正確に指紋画像を得ることが困難となっていた。
 この問題を解決するため、特許文献5では特定の波長帯の光を遮断する光学フィルターを用いているが、上記で提案されている装置においては、反射型光学フィルターを用いており、入射角依存的に透過波長、カット波長が変化する。そのため、微少な位置の違いが指紋画像のコントラストに与える影響が大きくなり、センシングの精度が落ちる場合があった。

 本発明は、光学式指紋認証センサーが設けられる機器の低背化に伴い、入射角度が大きくなった場合でも優れた可視光透過率と近赤外線カット性能を両立可能な光学フィルターを提供することを目的とする。
 本発明者らは、前記課題を解決すべく鋭意検討を行った結果、例えば、以下の態様により前記課題を解決できることを見出した。
 [1] 樹脂層を含む基材(i)と、前記基材(i)の少なくとも一方の面に設けられた誘電体多層膜とを有する光学フィルターであって、
 波長570~625nmにおいて、前記光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の透過率が50%となる最も短い波長を(Ya)nmとし、波長600~1000nmにおいて、前記光学フィルターの前記面に対して垂直方向より5°の角度から測定した場合の反射率が50%となる波長を(Yb)nmとしたとき、(Yb)が{(Ya)+80}nm以上であることを特徴とする光学フィルター。
 [2] 前記基材(i)の吸収極大波長が630~800nmの範囲内にあり、かつ、前記基材(i)の面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均透過率が20%以下であることを特徴とする項[1]に記載の光学フィルター。
 [3] 光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長650~1000nmにおける平均透過率が20%以下であることを特徴とする項[1]または[2]に記載の光学フィルター。
 [4] 光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より30°の角度から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均反射率が20%以下であることを特徴とする項[1]~[3]のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
 [5] 前記基材(i)は、波長630~800nmに吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を含有する樹脂製基板(ii)であることを特徴とする項[1]~[4]のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
 [6] 前記基材(i)は、ガラス支持体上に、波長630~800nmに吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を含有する樹脂層が積層された基材であることを特徴とする項[1]~[4]のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
 [7] 前記基材(i)は、樹脂製支持体上に、波長630~800nmに吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を含有する樹脂層が積層された基材であることを特徴とする項[1]~[4]のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
 本発明によれば、垂直方向からの入射光および斜め方向からの入射光の双方に対して、高い可視光透過率と近赤外線カット性能を有し、指紋認証センサー用途として好適に使用できる光学フィルターを提供することができる。このような光学フィルターを用いた光学式指紋認証センサーは、入射光の入射角依存性が小さく、ヘモグロビン由来の静脈模様の影響を抑制することができるとともに、指紋画像の位置依存コントラスト変化の小さい画像を取得することができる。

 以下、本発明の実施の形態を、必要に応じて図面等を参照しながら説明する。但し、本発明は多くの異なる態様で実施することが可能であり、以下に例示する実施の形態の記載内容に限定して解釈されるものではない。図面は説明をより明確にするため、実際の態様に比べ、各部の幅、厚さ、形状等について模式的に表される場合があるが、あくまで一例であって、本発明の解釈を限定するものではない。また、本明細書と各図において、既出の図に関して前述したものと同様の要素には、同一の符号を付し又は類似の符号(数字の後にA、Bなどを付しただけの符号)を付し、詳細な説明を適宜省略することがある。
 本明細書中において「上」とは、支持基板の主面(センサーの受光面)を基準とした相対的な位置を指し、支持基板の主面から離れる方向が「上」である。本願図面では、紙面に向かって上方が「上」となっている。また、「上」には、物体の上に接する場合(つまり「on」の場合)と、物体の上方に位置する場合(つまり「over」の場合)とが含まれる。逆に、「下」とは、支持基板の主面を基準とした相対的な位置を指し、支持基板の主面に近づく方向が「下」である。本願図面では、紙面に向かって下方が「下」となっている。
 本発明の光学フィルターは、後述する構成を有するものであり、その用途は特に限定されないが、光学式指紋認証センサー用途として好適である。本発明の光学式指紋認証センサーは、後述する光学フィルターを具備すれば特に限定されないが、具体的な構成としては、受光面に入射する光により光電流を生成し照度や色温度を測定する光電変換素子と、前記光電変換素子の前記受光面側に配置された光学フィルターとを有する構成が挙げられる。
 なお本明細書において、「(V)~(W)nmにおける平均透過率」は「(V)~(W)nmにおける波長別透過率の平均値」と同義であり、「(V)~(W)nmにおける平均反射率」は「(V)~(W)nmにおける波長別反射率の平均値」と同義である。この場合、VとWはそれぞれ異なる数値とする。
 [光学フィルター]
 本発明に係る光学フィルターは、樹脂層を含む基材(i)と、前記基材(i)の少なくとも一方の面に設けられた誘電体多層膜とを有する光学フィルターであって、波長570~625nmにおいて、該光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の透過率が50%となる最も短い波長を(Ya)nmとし、波長600~1000nmにおいて、前記光学フィルターの前記面に対して垂直方向より5°の角度から測定した場合の反射率が50%となる波長を(Yb)nmとしたとき、(Yb)が{(Ya)+80}nm以上であることを特徴とする。なお、前記(Ya)および(Yb)は光学フィルターの同じ面に対して測定したときの値である。
 前記波長(Yb)は、好ましくは{(Ya)+100}nm以上、より好ましくは{(Ya)+120}nm以上である。
 前記波長(Yb)が{(Ya)+80}nm以上であると、光学フィルターは、垂直方向で透過する波長域と、高入射角で透過する波長域との差が小さくなり、垂直方向でカットする波長域と、高入射角でカットする波長域との差が小さくなる。そのような光学フィルターを携帯電話やタブレットの光学式指紋認証センサーに用いた場合、個人認証の誤作動を防ぐことができる。
 本発明の光学フィルターでは、指紋認証センサーの誤作動防止の観点から、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長650~1000nmにおける平均透過率は、好ましくは20%以下、より好ましくは10%以下、さらに好ましくは5%以下である。また、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より30°の角度から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均透過率は、好ましくは10%以下、より好ましくは7%以下、さらに好ましくは5%以下である。
 光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長650~1000nmにおける平均透過率および光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より30°の角度から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均透過率が高過ぎると、生体を透過する近赤外光が光センサー受光部に入射し、光センサーがサチレーションを起こすため正常に機能しなくなる場合がある。
 本発明の光学フィルターでは、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長430~580nmにおける平均透過率が、好ましくは60%以上、より好ましくは70%以上、さらに好ましくは80%以上である。
 光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長430~580nmにおける平均透過率が低すぎると、光センサーの受光部に入射する光の強度が弱くなり、フィルターを通過する光の強度が充分確保されず、上記用途に好適に用いることができない場合がある。
 本発明の光学フィルターでは、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より30°の角度から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均反射率は、好ましくは20%以下、より好ましくは10%以下、さらに好ましくは5%以下である。また、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より60°の角度から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均反射率は、好ましくは20%以下、より好ましくは15%以下である。
 光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より30°および60°の角度から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均反射率が高過ぎると、光学フィルターと生体組織間での多重反射により、ヘモグロビン由来の660nm吸収起因の静脈模様が浮かびあがり、正確な指紋画像を取得できない場合がある。
 本発明の光学フィルターの厚みは、特に制限されないが、好ましくは40~1000μm、より好ましくは50~800μm、さらに好ましくは80~500μm、特に好ましくは90~250μmである。光学フィルターの厚みが前記範囲にあると、光学フィルターを、小型化および軽量化することができ、光センサー等の種々の用途に好適に用いることができる。特に光学式指紋認証センサーの受光部上面に用いた場合には、センサーモジュールの低背化を実現することができるため好ましい。
 <基材(i)>
 前記基材(i)は、樹脂層を有し、かつ、本発明の光学フィルターが上述した特性を有する限り、特に限定されない。
 本発明では、前記基材(i)の吸収極大波長は、好ましくは630~800nm、より好ましくは635~790nm、さらに好ましくは640~780nmの範囲内にあり、かつ、前記基材(i)の面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均透過率は、好ましくは20%以下、より好ましくは15%以下、さらに好ましくは10%以下である。基材(i)が前記特性を有することにより、ヘモグロビン由来の660nm吸収起因の静脈模様の影響を抑制することができる。前記基材(i)が前記特性を有するために、前記樹脂層は、波長630~800nmの領域に吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を含有することが好ましい。
 前記基材(i)は単層であっても多層であってもよく、基材(i)が単層の場合、例えば、化合物(A)を含む樹脂製基板(ii)からなる基材を挙げることができる。基材(i)が多層の場合、例えば、ガラス支持体やベースとなる樹脂製支持体などの支持体上に化合物(A)を含有する硬化性樹脂等からなるオーバーコート層などの樹脂層が積層された基材、化合物(A)を含む樹脂製基板(ii)上に硬化性樹脂等からなるオーバーコート層などの樹脂層が積層された基材などを挙げることができる。製造コストや光学特性調整の容易性、さらに、樹脂製支持体や樹脂製基板(ii)の傷消し効果を達成できることや基材(i)の耐傷つき性向上等の点から、化合物(A)を含有する樹脂製基板(ii)上に硬化性樹脂からなるオーバーコート層などの樹脂層が積層された基材が特に好ましい。
 <化合物(A)>
 前記化合物(A)は、波長630~800nm、好ましくは635~795nm、より好ましくは640~790nmの領域に吸収極大があれば特に限定されないが、スクアリリウム系化合物、フタロシアニン系化合物、ナフタロシアニン系化合物、クロコニウム系化合物およびシアニン系化合物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の化合物であることが好ましく、特にスクアリリウム系化合物およびフタロシアニン系化合物が好ましい。なお、化合物(A)は、1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 前記化合物(A)は異なる2種以上を組み合わせて用いることが好ましく、異なる3種以上を組み合わせて用いることがさらに好ましい。
 前記化合物(A)が2種以上を組み合わせて用いる場合、少なくとも1種は630~700nmの領域に吸収極大があるスクアリリウム系化合物であり、且つ少なくとも1種は700~800nmに吸収極大があるフタロシアニン系化合物であることが好ましい。
 前記化合物(A)としては、特に国際公開第2017/094672号明細書に記載の化合物(A)を好適に用いることができる。
 化合物(A)の添加量は、所望の特性に応じて適宜選択されるものであるが、前記樹脂層に用いる樹脂100質量部に対して、通常0.01~20.0質量部、好ましくは0.03~10.0質量部であることが望ましい。
 <化合物(S)>
 前記基材(i)は、波長800nm超1200nm以下の領域に吸収極大を有する化合物(S)をさらに含むことができる。前記化合物(S)は、前記化合物(A)と同一の層(樹脂層)に含まれていてもよく、異なる層に含まれていてもよい。
 前記化合物(S)としては、近赤外線を吸収する色素として作用する金属錯体系化合物、染料または顔料を用いることができ、特に国際公開第2017/094672号明細書に記載の化合物(S)を好適に用いることができる。
 前記化合物(S)の吸収極大波長は800nm超1200nm以下であり、好ましくは810nm以上1180nm以下、より好ましくは820nm以上1150nm以下、特に好ましくは840nm以上1120nm以下である。前記化合物(S)の吸収極大波長がこのような範囲にあると、不要な近赤外線を効率よくカットすることができるとともに、入射光の入射角依存性を低くすることができる。
 前記化合物(S)は、一般的に知られている方法で合成すればよく、例えば、特許第4168031号公報、特許第4252961号公報、特表2010-516823号公報、特開昭63-165392号公報等に記載されている方法などを参照して合成することができる。
 前記化合物(S)の市販品としては、S2058(DKSH製)、CIR-108x、CIR-96x、CIR-RL、CIR-1080(日本カーリット製)、T090821、T091021、T89021,T090721、T090122、(トスコ製)、B4360、D4773、D5013、(東京化成工業製)、S4253、S1426、S1445(スペクトラムインフォ製)、Excolor IR1、IR2 、IR3 、IR4(日本触媒製)などを挙げることができる。
 前記化合物(S)の使用量は、所望の特性に応じて適宜選択されるが、前記樹脂層に用いる樹脂100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.01~20.0質量部、より好ましくは0.01~15.0質量部、さらに好ましくは0.01~10.0質量部である。
 前記化合物(S)の使用量が上記範囲より多いと、化合物(S)の特性がより強く表れる光学フィルターを得ることができる場合もあるが、430~580nmの範囲における透過率が光センサーとして好ましい値よりも低下する場合や、光吸収層や光学フィルターの強度が低下する場合がある。
 <樹脂>
 前記樹脂層に用いる樹脂としては、本発明の効果を損なわないものである限り特に制限されないが、例えば、熱安定性およびフィルムへの成形性を確保し、かつ、100℃以上の蒸着温度で行う高温蒸着により誘電体多層膜を形成しうるフィルムとするため、ガラス転移温度(Tg)が、好ましくは110~380℃、より好ましくは110~370℃、さらに好ましくは120~360℃である樹脂が挙げられる。また、前記樹脂のガラス転移温度が140℃以上であると、誘電体多層膜をより高温で蒸着形成しえるフィルムが得られるため、特に好ましい。
 前記樹脂としては、当該樹脂からなる厚さ0.1mmの樹脂板を形成した場合に、この樹脂板の全光線透過率(JIS K7105)が、好ましくは75~95%、さらに好ましくは78~95%、特に好ましくは80~95%となる樹脂を用いることができる。全光線透過率がこのような範囲となる樹脂を用いれば、得られる基板は光学フィルムとして良好な透明性を示す。
 前記樹脂のゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)法により測定される、ポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)は、通常15,000~350,000、好ましくは30,000~250,000であり、数平均分子量(Mn)は、通常10,000~150,000、好ましくは20,000~100,000である。
 前記樹脂としては、例えば、環状ポリオレフィン系樹脂、芳香族ポリエーテル系樹脂、ポリイミド系樹脂、フルオレンポリカーボネート系樹脂、フルオレンポリエステル系樹脂、ポリカーボネート系樹脂、ポリアミド(アラミド)系樹脂、ポリアリレート系樹脂、ポリサルホン系樹脂、ポリエーテルサルホン系樹脂、ポリパラフェニレン系樹脂、ポリアミドイミド系樹脂、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)系樹脂、フッ素化芳香族ポリマー系樹脂、(変性)アクリル系樹脂、エポキシ系樹脂、アリルエステル系硬化型樹脂、シルセスキオキサン系紫外線硬化型樹脂、アクリル系紫外線硬化型樹脂、ビニル系紫外線硬化型樹脂およびゾルゲル法により形成されたシリカを主成分とする樹脂を挙げることができる。これらの内、環状ポリオレフィン樹脂、芳香族ポリエーテル樹脂、フルオレンポリカーボネート系樹脂、フルオレンポリエステル系樹脂、ポリカーボネート系樹脂、ポリアリレート系樹脂を用いることが、透明性(光学特性)、耐熱性等のバランスに優れた光学フィルターを得られる点で好ましい。
 ≪環状ポリオレフィン系樹脂≫
 環状ポリオレフィン系樹脂としては、下記式(X0)で表される単量体および下記式(Y0)で表される単量体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の単量体から得られる樹脂、および当該樹脂を水素添加することで得られる樹脂が好ましい。

 ≪ポリイミド系樹脂≫
 ポリイミド系樹脂としては、特に制限されず、繰り返し単位にイミド結合を含む高分子化合物であればよく、例えば、特開2006-199945号公報や特開2008-163107号公報に記載されている方法で合成することができる。
 ≪フルオレンポリカーボネート系樹脂≫
 フルオレンポリカーボネート系樹脂としては、特に制限されず、フルオレン部位を含むポリカーボネート樹脂であればよく、例えば、特開2008-163194号公報に記載されている方法で合成することができる。
 ≪フルオレンポリエステル系樹脂≫
 フルオレンポリエステル系樹脂としては、特に制限されず、フルオレン部位を含むポリエステル樹脂であればよく、例えば、特開2010-285505号公報や特開2011-197450号公報に記載されている方法で合成することができる。
 ≪フッ素化芳香族ポリマー系樹脂≫
 フッ素化芳香族ポリマー系樹脂としては、特に制限されないが、フッ素原子を少なくとも1つ有する芳香族環と、エーテル結合、ケトン結合、スルホン結合、アミド結合、イミド結合およびエステル結合からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つの結合を含む繰り返し単位とを含有するポリマーであることが好ましく、例えば特開2008-181121号公報に記載されている方法で合成することができる。
 ≪アクリル系紫外線硬化型樹脂≫
 アクリル系紫外線硬化型樹脂としては、特に制限されないが、分子内に一つ以上のアクリル基もしくはメタクリル基を有する化合物と、紫外線によって分解して活性ラジカルを発生させる化合物を含有する樹脂組成物から合成されるものを挙げることができる。アクリル系紫外線硬化型樹脂は、前記基材(i)として、ガラス支持体上やベースとなる樹脂製支持体上に化合物(S)および硬化性樹脂を含む樹脂層(光吸収層)が積層された基材や、化合物(S)を含有する樹脂製基板(ii)上に硬化性樹脂等からなるオーバーコート層などの樹脂層が積層された基材を用いる場合、該硬化性樹脂として特に好適に使用することができる。
 ≪ゾルゲル法により形成されたシリカを主成分とする樹脂≫
 ゾルゲル法によるシリカを主成分とする樹脂としては、テトラメトキシシラン、テトラエトキシシラン、ジメトキシジエトキシシラン、メトキシトリエトキシシランなどのテトラアルコキシシラン、フェニルトリメトキシシラン、フェニルトリエトキシシラン、ジフェニルジメトキシシラン、ジフェニルジエトキシシランなどのフェニルアルコキシシラン等から選ばれる1種以上のシラン類の加水分解によるゾルゲル反応により得られる化合物を樹脂として使用することができる。
 ≪市販品≫
 樹脂の市販品としては、以下の市販品等を挙げることができる。環状ポリオレフィン系樹脂の市販品としては、JSR(株)製アートン、日本ゼオン(株)製ゼオノア、三井化学(株)製APEL、ポリプラスチックス(株)製TOPASなどを挙げることができる。ポリエーテルサルホン系樹脂の市販品としては、住友化学(株)製スミカエクセルPESなどを挙げることができる。ポリイミド系樹脂の市販品としては、三菱ガス化学(株)製ネオプリムLなどを挙げることができる。ポリカーボネート系樹脂の市販品としては、帝人(株)製ピュアエースなどを挙げることができる。フルオレンポリカーボネート系樹脂の市販品としては、三菱ガス化学(株)製ユピゼータEP-5000などを挙げることができる。フルオレンポリエステル系樹脂の市販品としては、大阪ガスケミカル(株)製OKP4HTなどを挙げることができる。アクリル系樹脂の市販品としては、(株)日本触媒製アクリビュアなどを挙げることができる。シルセスキオキサン系紫外線硬化型樹脂の市販品としては、新日鐵化学(株)製シルプラスなどを挙げることができる。
 <その他成分>
 前記基材(i)は、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲において、さらに酸化防止剤、近紫外線吸収剤および蛍光消光剤等の添加剤を含有してもよい。これらその他成分は、1種単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 前記近紫外線吸収剤としては、例えばアゾメチン系化合物、インドール系化合物、ベンゾトリアゾール系化合物、トリアジン系化合物などが挙げられる。
 前記酸化防止剤としては、例えば2,6-ジ-t-ブチル-4-メチルフェノール、2,2'-ジオキシ-3,3'-ジ-t-ブチル-5,5'-ジメチルジフェニルメタン、テトラキス[メチレン-3-(3,5-ジ-t-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]メタン、およびトリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイトなどが挙げられる。
 なお、これら添加剤は、前記樹脂を製造する際に、樹脂などとともに混合してもよいし、樹脂を合成する際に添加してもよい。また、添加量は、所望の特性に応じて適宜選択されるものであるが、前記樹脂100質量部に対して、通常0.01~5.0質量部、好ましくは0.05~2.0質量部である。
 <支持体>
 ≪樹脂製支持体≫
 前記樹脂基板または樹脂製支持体に用いられる樹脂は、前記樹脂層と同様のものを用いることができる。
 ≪ガラス支持体≫
 前記ガラス支持体は、無色透明のガラス基板、CuO含有ガラス基板、またはフツリン酸塩ガラス基板を用いることができる。特に、吸収剤として銅を含むフツリン酸塩ガラス基板は近赤外線カット能を向上させられるため好ましい。
 <基材(i)の製造方法>
 前記基材(i)が、前記樹脂製基板(ii)を含む基材である場合、該樹脂製基板(ii)は、例えば、溶融成形またはキャスト成形により形成することができ、さらに、必要により、成形後に、反射防止剤、ハードコート剤および/または帯電防止剤等のコーティング剤をコーティングすることで、オーバーコート層が積層された基材を製造することができる。
 前記基材(i)が、ガラス支持体やベースとなる樹脂製支持体上に化合物(A)を含有する硬化性樹脂等からなるオーバーコート層などの樹脂層が積層された基材である場合、例えば、ガラス支持体やベースとなる樹脂製支持体に化合物(A)を含む樹脂溶液を溶融成形またはキャスト成形することで、好ましくはスピンコート、スリットコート、インクジェットなどの方法にて塗工した後に溶媒を乾燥除去し、必要に応じてさらに光照射や加熱を行うことで、ガラス支持体やベースとなる樹脂製支持体上に樹脂層が形成された基材を製造することができる。
 ≪溶融成形≫
 前記溶融成形としては、具体的には、樹脂と化合物(A)等とを溶融混練りして得られたペレットを溶融成形する方法;樹脂と化合物(A)とを含有する樹脂組成物を溶融成形する方法;または、化合物(A)、樹脂および溶剤を含む樹脂組成物から溶剤を除去して得られたペレットを溶融成形する方法などが挙げられる。溶融成形方法としては、射出成形、溶融押出成形またはブロー成形などを挙げることができる。
 ≪キャスト成形≫
 前記キャスト成形としては、化合物(A)、樹脂および溶剤を含む樹脂組成物を適当な支持体の上にキャスティングして溶剤を除去する方法;または化合物(A)と、光硬化性樹脂および/または熱硬化性樹脂とを含む硬化性組成物を適当な支持体の上にキャスティングして溶媒を除去した後、紫外線照射や加熱などの適切な手法により硬化させる方法などにより製造することもできる。
 前記基材(i)が、化合物(A)を含有する樹脂製基板(ii)からなる基材である場合には、該基材(i)は、キャスト成形後、支持体から塗膜を剥離することにより得ることができ、また、前記基材(i)が、ガラス支持体やベースとなる樹脂製支持体等の支持体などの上に化合物(A)を含有する硬化性樹脂等からなるオーバーコート層などの樹脂層が積層された基材である場合には、該基材(i)は、キャスト成形後、塗膜を剥離しないことで得ることができる。
 前記支持体としては、例えば、ガラス板、スチールベルト、スチールドラムおよび樹脂(例えば、ポリエステル、環状オレフィン系樹脂)製支持体が挙げられる。
 さらに、ガラス板、石英または透明プラスチック製等の光学部品に、前記樹脂組成物をコーティングして溶剤を乾燥させる方法、または、前記硬化性組成物をコーティングして硬化および乾燥させる方法などにより、光学部品上に樹脂層を形成することもできる。
 前記方法で得られた樹脂層(樹脂製基板(ii))中の残留溶剤量は可能な限り少ない方がよい。具体的には、前記残留溶剤量は、樹脂層(樹脂製基板(ii))の重さに対して、好ましくは3質量%以下、より好ましくは1質量%以下、さらに好ましくは0.5質量%以下である。残留溶剤量が前記範囲にあると、変形や特性が変化しにくい、所望の機能を容易に発揮できる樹脂層(樹脂製基板(ii))が得られる。
 <誘電体多層膜>
 本発明の光学フィルターは、前記基材(i)の少なくとも一方の面に誘電体多層膜を有する。本発明における誘電体多層膜とは、近赤外線を反射する能力を有する膜または可視域における反射防止効果を有する膜であり、誘電体多層膜を有することでより優れた可視光透過率と近赤外線カット特性を達成することができる。
 本発明では、誘電体多層膜は前記基材の片面に設けてもよいし、両面に設けてもよい。片面に設ける場合、製造コストや製造容易性に優れ、両面に設ける場合、高い強度を有し、反りやねじれが生じにくい光学フィルターを得ることができる。光学フィルターを固体撮像素子用途に適用する場合、光学フィルターの反りやねじれが小さい方が好ましいことから、誘電体多層膜を樹脂製基板の両面に設けることが好ましい。
 前記誘電体多層膜は、好ましくは波長700~1100nm、より好ましくは波長700~1150nm、さらに好ましくは700~1200nmの範囲全体にわたって反射特性を有することが望ましい。
 誘電体多層膜としては、高屈折率材料層と低屈折率材料層とを交互に積層したものが挙げられる。高屈折率材料層を構成する材料としては、屈折率が1.7以上の材料を用いることができ、屈折率が通常は1.7~2.5の材料が選択される。このような材料としては、例えば、酸化チタン、酸化ジルコニウム、五酸化タンタル、五酸化ニオブ、酸化ランタン、酸化イットリウム、酸化亜鉛、硫化亜鉛または酸化インジウム等を主成分とし、酸化チタン、酸化錫および/または酸化セリウム等を少量(例えば、主成分に対して0~10質量%)含有させたものが挙げられる。
 低屈折率材料層を構成する材料としては、屈折率が1.6以下の材料を用いることができ、屈折率が通常は1.2~1.6の材料が選択される。このような材料としては、例えば、シリカ、アルミナ、フッ化ランタン、フッ化マグネシウムおよび六フッ化アルミニウムナトリウムが挙げられる。
 高屈折率材料層と低屈折率材料層とを積層する方法については、これらの材料層を積層した誘電体多層膜が形成される限り特に制限はない。例えば、基材(i)上に、直接、CVD法、スパッタ法、真空蒸着法、イオンアシスト蒸着法またはイオンプレーティング法等により、高屈折率材料層と低屈折率材料層とを交互に積層した誘電体多層膜を形成することができる。
 高屈折率材料層および低屈折率材料層の各層の厚さは、通常、遮断しようとする近赤外線波長をλ(nm)とすると、0.1λ~0.5λの厚さが好ましい。λ(nm)の値としては、例えば700~1400nm、好ましくは750~1300nmである。厚さがこの範囲であると、屈折率(n)と膜厚(d)との積(n×d)がλ/4で算出される光学的膜厚と、高屈折率材料層および低屈折率材料層の各層の厚さとがほぼ同じ値となって、反射・屈折の光学的特性の関係から、特定波長の遮断・透過を容易にコントロールできる傾向にある。
 誘電体多層膜における高屈折率材料層と低屈折率材料層との合計の積層数は、光学フィルター全体として16~70層であることが好ましく、20~60層であることがより好ましい。各層の厚み、光学フィルター全体としての誘電体多層膜の厚みや合計の積層数が前記範囲にあると、十分な製造マージンを確保できる上に、光学フィルターの反りや誘電体多層膜のクラックを低減することができる。
 本発明では、化合物(A)や化合物(S)の吸収特性に合わせて高屈折率材料層および低屈折率材料層を構成する材料種、高屈折率材料層および低屈折率材料層の各層の厚さ、積層の順番、積層数を適切に選択することで、可視域に十分な透過率を確保した上で近赤外波長域に十分な光線カット特性を有し、且つ、斜め方向から近赤外線が入射した際の反射率を低減することができる。
 ここで、前記条件を最適化するには、例えば、光学薄膜設計ソフト(例えば、Essential Macleod、Thin Film Center社製)を用い、可視域の反射防止効果と近赤外域の光線カット効果を両立できるようにパラメーターを設定すればよい。上記ソフトの場合、例えば第一光学層の設計にあたっては、波長400~700nmの目標透過率を100%、Target Toleranceの値を1とした上で、波長705~950nmの目標透過率を0%、Target Toleranceの値を0.5にするなどのパラメーター設定方法が挙げられる。これらのパラメーターは基材(i)の各種特性などに合わせて波長範囲をさらに細かく区切ってTarget Toleranceの値を変えることもできる。
 <その他の機能膜>
 本発明の光学フィルターは、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲において、基材(i)と誘電体多層膜との間、基材(i)の誘電体多層膜が設けられた面と反対側の面、または誘電体多層膜の基材(i)が設けられた面と反対側の面に、基材(i)や誘電体多層膜の表面硬度の向上、耐薬品性の向上、帯電防止および傷消しなどの目的で、反射防止膜、ハードコート膜や帯電防止膜などの機能膜を適宜設けることができる。
 本発明の光学フィルターは、前記機能膜からなる層を1層含んでもよく、2層以上含んでもよい。本発明の光学フィルターが前記機能膜からなる層を2層以上含む場合には、同様の層を2層以上含んでもよいし、異なる層を2層以上含んでもよい。
 機能膜を積層する方法としては、特に制限されないが、反射防止剤、ハードコート剤および/または帯電防止剤等のコーティング剤などを基材(i)または誘電体多層膜に、前記と同様に溶融成形またはキャスト成形する方法等を挙げることができる。
 また、前記コーティング剤などを含む硬化性組成物をバーコーター等で基材(i)または誘電体多層膜上に塗布した後、紫外線照射等により硬化することによっても製造することができる。
 前記コーティング剤としては、紫外線(UV)/電子線(EB)硬化型樹脂や熱硬化型樹脂などが挙げられ、具体的には、ビニル化合物類や、ウレタン系、ウレタンアクリレート系、アクリレート系、エポキシ系およびエポキシアクリレート系樹脂などが挙げられる。これらのコーティング剤を含む前記硬化性組成物としては、ビニル系、ウレタン系、ウレタンアクリレート系、アクリレート系、エポキシ系およびエポキシアクリレート系硬化性組成物などが挙げられる。
 また、前記硬化性組成物は重合開始剤を含んでいてもよい。前記重合開始剤としては、公知の光重合開始剤または熱重合開始剤を用いることができ、光重合開始剤と熱重合開始剤を併用してもよい。重合開始剤は、1種単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 前記硬化性組成物中、重合開始剤の配合割合は、硬化性組成物の全量を100質量%とした場合、好ましくは0.1~10質量%、より好ましくは0.5~10質量%、さらに好ましくは1~5質量%である。重合開始剤の配合割合が前記範囲にあると、硬化性組成物の硬化特性および取り扱い性が優れ、所望の硬度を有する反射防止膜、ハードコート膜や帯電防止膜などの機能膜を得ることができる。
 さらに、前記硬化性組成物には溶剤として有機溶剤を加えてもよく、有機溶剤としては、公知のものを使用することができる。有機溶剤の具体例としては、メタノール、エタノール、イソプロパノール、ブタノール、オクタノール等のアルコール類;アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロヘキサノン等のケトン類;酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、乳酸エチル、γ-ブチロラクトン、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート、プロピレングリコールモノエチルエーテルアセテート等のエステル類;エチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル等のエーテル類;ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン等の芳香族炭化水素類;ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミド、N-メチルピロリドン等のアミド類を挙げることができる。
 これら溶剤は、1種単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 前記機能膜の厚さは、好ましくは0.1~30μm、さらに好ましくは0.5~20μm、特に好ましくは0.7~5μmである。
 また、基材(i)と機能膜および/または誘電体多層膜との密着性や、機能膜と誘電体多層膜との密着性を上げる目的で、基材(i)、機能膜または誘電体多層膜の表面にコロナ処理やプラズマ処理等の表面処理をしてもよい。
 <光学フィルターの類型>
 本発明の光学フィルターは、誘電体多層膜(以下「近赤外線反射層」ともいう。)と、樹脂層(以下「近赤外線吸収層」ともいう。)を含む基材(i)とを有するが、その形態として様々な変形が許容される。
 ≪光学フィルター1≫
 図2(A)は、光入射側から、第1近赤外線反射層118a、近赤外線吸収層120、第2近赤外線反射層118bが設けられた光学フィルター104aを示す。第1近赤外線反射層118aは屈折率の異なる誘電体膜が積層された構造を有する。第2近赤外線反射層118bは、第1近赤外線反射層118aと同じ誘電体多層構造を有していてもよいし、異なる誘電体多層構造を有していてもよい。
 近赤外線吸収層120は、透光性の樹脂層の中に近赤外線を吸収する化合物を含む。近赤外線を吸収する化合物としては、例えば、前記化合物(A)および前記化合物(S)等の近赤外線吸収色素が挙げられる。光学フィルター104aでは、前記樹脂層が基材としての機能を兼ね備えていてもよい。近赤外線吸収層120それ自体を構造材として用いることで、光学フィルター104aの薄型化を図ることができる。
 図2(A)で示す光学フィルター104aは、第1近赤外線反射層118a及び第2近赤外線反射層118bとして、誘電体多層膜が形成された構造の中に近赤外線吸収層120を介在させることにより、光学フィルター104aに斜め方向から入射する光に対しても透過光スペクトルの変動を抑制することができる。
 図2(A)は、近赤外線反射層が近赤外線吸収層の両面に設けられる態様を示すが、光学フィルター104aはこの態様に限定されない。近赤外線反射層は、近赤外線吸収層の片面のみに設けられていてもよい。例えば、第1近赤外線反射層118aと近赤外線吸収層120によって光学フィルター104aが構成されていてもよい。このような構成によっても、上述の近赤外線反射層と近赤外線吸収層による相乗効果を発揮することができる。また、第1近赤外線反射層と第2近赤外線反射層のどちらかを反射防止層に代えた構成を用いることもできる。
 ≪光学フィルター2≫
 図2(B)は、第1近赤外線反射層118aと近赤外線吸収層120との間に第1樹脂層122aが設けられ、第2近赤外線反射層118bと近赤外線吸収層120との間に第2樹脂層122bが設けられた光学フィルター104bを示す。近赤外線反射層と近赤外線吸収層との間に樹脂層を設けることで、光学フィルター104bの薄型化を図りつつ強度を高めることが可能となる。近赤外線吸収層120としては、上述の透光性の樹脂層の中に近赤外線を吸収する化合物を含む層を用いることができる。なお、樹脂層122は、第1樹脂層122a及び第2樹脂層122bの一方のみが設けられていてもよい。また、図2(B)は、近赤外線反射層が近赤外線吸収層の両面に設けられる態様を示すが、光学フィルター104bはこの態様に限定されない。近赤外線反射層は、近赤外線吸収層の片面のみに設けられていてもよい。なお、樹脂層122aおよび122bには近赤外線吸収剤が含まれてもよいし、含まれていなくてもよい。また、第1近赤外線反射層と第2近赤外線反射層のどちらかを反射防止層に代えた構成を用いることもできる。
 図2(B)に示す光学フィルター104bは、近赤外線反射層と近赤外線吸収層との組み合わせを有することにより、図2(A)で示す光学フィルター104aと同様の作用効果を奏する。
 ≪光学フィルター3≫
 図3(A)は、透明なガラス基板124を用いて構成される光学フィルター104cを示す。光学フィルター104cは、ガラス基板124の一方の面に近赤外線吸収層120を設け、その上面に第1近赤外線反射層118aが設けられている。近赤外線吸収層120としては、透光性の樹脂層の中に近赤外線を吸収する化合物を含む層が用いられる。また、ガラス基板124の他方の面に第2近赤外線反射層118bが設けられている。透明なガラス基板124は、光学フィルター104の基材(i)の一部(支持体)として用いることができる。ガラス基板124を基材(i)の一部として用いることで、光学フィルター104の剛性を高めることができる。なお、図3(A)において示される第2近赤外線反射層118bを、ガラス基板124と近赤外線吸収層120との間に設けてもよい。
 なお、図3(A)に示す光学フィルター104cにおいて、近赤外線吸収層120をガラス基板124の両面に設けてもよい。また、第1近赤外線反射層118aと近赤外線吸収層120の組を複数段に設けてもよい。さらに、透明なガラス基板124に代えて、近赤外線を吸収する物質を含むガラス基板を用いてもよい。さらに近赤外線反射層は、近赤外線吸収層の片面のみに設けられていてもよい。例えば、第1近赤外線反射層118a、近赤外線吸収層120及びガラス基板124によって光学フィルター104cが構成されていてもよい。また、第1近赤外線反射層と第2近赤外線反射層のどちらかを反射防止層に代えた構成を用いることもできる。
 図3(A)に示す光学フィルター104cは、近赤外線反射層と近赤外線吸収層との組み合わせを有することにより、図2(A)で示す光学フィルター104aと同様の作用効果を奏する。
 ≪光学フィルター4≫
 図3(B)は、透明な樹脂基板125を用いて構成される光学フィルター104dを示す。光学フィルター104dは、樹脂基板125の一方の面に近赤外線吸収層120を設け、その上面に第1近赤外線反射層118aが設けられている。また、樹脂基板125の他方の面に第2近赤外線反射層118bが設けられている。樹脂基板125は、光学フィルター104の基材として用いることができる。樹脂基板125を基材として用いることで、光学フィルター104の加工性、柔軟性を高めることができる。なお、図3(B)において示される第2近赤外線反射層118bを、樹脂基板124と近赤外線吸収層120との間に設けてもよい。近赤外線吸収層120としては、透光性の樹脂層の中に近赤外線を吸収する化合物を含む層が用いられる。
 なお、図3(B)に示す光学フィルター104dにおいて、近赤外線吸収層120を樹脂基板125の両面に設けてもよい。また、第1近赤外線反射層118aと近赤外線吸収層120の組を複数段に設けてもよい。さらに近赤外線反射層は、近赤外線吸収層の片面のみに設けられていてもよい。例えば、第1近赤外線反射層118a、近赤外線吸収層120及び樹脂基板125によって光学フィルター104dが構成されていてもよい。また、第1近赤外線反射層と第2近赤外線反射層のどちらかを反射防止層に代えた構成を用いることもできる。
 図3(B)に示す光学フィルター104dは、近赤外線反射層と近赤外線吸収層との組み合わせを有することにより、図2(A)で示す光学フィルター104aと同様の作用効果を奏する。
 <近赤外線反射層>
 近赤外線反射層118は、少なくとも波長400nm~600nmの帯域の可視光線を透過するとともに、少なくとも波長750nm以上の近赤外線を反射するように設計される。近赤外線反射層118は、可視領域の透過率が高く、少なくとも波長400nm~600nmの波長帯域において90%以上の平均分光透過率を有することが好ましい。また、近赤外線反射層118は、波長750nm以上の近赤外線波長帯域においては2%未満の分光透過率を有していることが好ましい。これは、光電変換素子102に近赤外線が入射されず、一方で可視光線帯域の光を高感度で検知するためである。
 近赤外線反射層118は、分光透過特性において急峻な立ち上がり(又は立ち下がり)特性(カットオフ特性)を有していることが好ましい。近赤外線反射層118は、急峻なカットオフ特性を有していることにより、近赤外線吸収層120との組み合わせにおいて、光学設計上有利に作用するためである。すなわち、近赤外線反射層118への斜め入射光に対して、透過スペクトルが変化する場合でも、カットオフ特性が急峻であると、近赤外線吸収層120の吸収ピークにカットオフ波長を合わせることが容易となるためである。
 近赤外線反射層118は上述した誘電体多層膜で形成される。
 高屈折率材料層および低屈折率材料層の各層の物理膜厚は、それぞれ層の屈折率にもよるが、通常、5~500nmであることが好ましく、誘電体多層膜の物理膜厚の合計値は光学フィルター全体として1.0~8.0μmであることが好ましい。
 本発明の光学フィルターを光学式指紋認証センサーの用途に適用する場合、光学フィルターの反りが小さい方が好ましいことから、誘電体多層膜を基材の両面に設けることが好ましく、両面に設けた誘電体多層膜は分光特性が同じでも異なっていてもよい。両面に設けた誘電体多層膜の分光特性が同じ場合では近赤外波長域において光線阻止帯域ZaおよびZcの透過率を効率よく低減することができ、両面に設けた誘電体多層膜の分光特性が異なる場合では光線阻止帯域Zcをより長波長側まで広げることが容易になる傾向がある。
 <近赤外線吸収層および樹脂基板>
 化合物(A)等の近赤外線吸収色素を含有する樹脂層の厚みは、「光学フィルター1」および「光学フィルター2」のように、該樹脂層を樹脂基板としての機能を兼ね備えさせる場合は、好ましくは10~300μm、より好ましくは20~200μm、さらに好ましくは25~150μm、特に好ましくは30~120μmである。前記樹脂層の厚みが上記範囲にあると、光学フィルターを軽量化および小型化することができ、光学式指紋認証センサーの低背化を達成することができる。樹脂層の厚みが上記範囲より厚い場合には、光学式指紋認証センサーの低背化という本来の目的が達成できない。一方、前記樹脂層の厚みが上記範囲より薄い場合には、光学フィルターの反りが大きくなる問題がある。
 また、「光学フィルター3」および「光学フィルター4」のように、近赤外線吸収色素含有樹脂層を、透明ガラス基板あるいは樹脂基板上に設ける場合、近赤外線吸収色素含有樹脂層の厚みは、好ましくは0.5~150μm、より好ましくは0.7~100μm、さらに好ましくは1~50μm、特に好ましくは2~30μmである。近赤外線吸収色素を含有する樹脂層の厚みが上記範囲にあると、光学フィルターを軽量化および小型化することができ、光学式指紋認証センサーの低背化を達成することができる。樹脂層の厚みが上記範囲より厚い場合には、光学式指紋認証センサーの低背化という本来の目的が達成できない。一方、樹脂層の厚みが上記範囲より薄い場合には、近赤外線吸収色素の樹脂層への溶解性に制限があるため、適用可能な近赤外線吸収色素の種類および含有量が制限され、十分な光学特性を得ることができない。
 「光学フィルター3」に用いられる透明ガラス基板の厚みは、好ましくは20~1000μm、より好ましくは25~500μm、さらに好ましくは30~300μm、特に好ましくは35~210μmである。透明ガラスの厚みが上記範囲にあると、光学フィルターを軽量化および小型化することができ、光学式指紋認証センサーの低背化を達成することができる。透明ガラスの厚みが上記範囲より厚い場合には、光学式指紋認証センサーの低背化という本来の目的が達成できない。一方、透明ガラスの厚みが上記範囲より薄い場合には、反りが大きくなる、ガラス層が脆いため割れる、欠ける等の問題があり使用し難い。なお、透明ガラス基板に代えて、近赤外線を吸収する物質を含むガラス基板を用いる場合の厚みは、好ましくは30~1000μm、より好ましくは35~500μm、さらに好ましくは40~300μm、特に好ましくは45~210μmである。
 上記のように、ガラスは厚みが薄くなると脆くなる問題点があるため、光学式指紋認証センサーの低背化と言う観点からは、「光学フィルター1、2、4」のように樹脂製基板を使用することが好ましい。
 近赤外線吸収色素を含有する樹脂層は、樹脂層そのものをフィルム基板として使用すること、他のフィルム基板上に本樹脂層をコーティングした形で使用すること、あるいは、ガラス基板上に本樹脂層をコーティングした形で使用することができる。樹脂層そのものをフィルム基板として使用する場合、前述した溶液キャスト法や押出成形法によりフィルム基板を作製することができる。
 上記フィルム基板としては、上記樹脂からなる樹脂フィルムを使用することができる。
 上記樹脂層は、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲において、近赤外線吸収色素の他に酸化防止剤、近紫外線吸収剤、蛍光消光剤および金属錯体系化合物等の添加剤を含有してもよい。また、前述したキャスト成形により基材を製造する場合には、レベリング剤や消泡剤を添加することで基材の製造を容易にすることができる。これら成分は、1種単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 前記基材(i)は、単層であっても多層であってもよく、近赤外線吸収色素を含む層は、別々の近赤外吸収色素を含む樹脂層を多層化することもできるし、近赤外線吸収色素を含む層と近赤外線吸収色素を含有しない層を多層化することもできる。また、CuO含有ガラス層に近赤外線吸収色素を含有する樹脂層を積層することもできる。
 また、上記基材(i)上に、硬化性樹脂を含むオーバーコート層などの樹脂層を積層することもできる。この硬化性樹脂層に近赤外線吸収色素を含有させることもできる。
 樹脂層を使用する場合には、製造コストや光学特性調整の容易性、さらに、樹脂製基板の耐傷つき性向上等の点から、近赤外線吸収色素を含有する樹脂製基板上に硬化性樹脂からなるオーバーコート層などの樹脂層が積層された基材を用いることが特に好ましい。
 <近赤外線吸収ガラス>
 前記基材(i)の一部として、銅成分を含む近赤外線吸収ガラス(以下「Cu含有ガラス」ともいう。)を用いることができる。Cu含有ガラスを用いることで、可視光に対する高透過性を有するとともに、近赤外線に対しても高い遮蔽性を有する。なお、リン酸塩ガラスには、ガラス骨格の一部がSiO2で構成されるケイリン酸塩ガラスも含むものとする。Cu含有ガラスとしては、特に国際公開第2017/094672号明細書に記載のCu含有ガラスを好適に用いることができる。
 銅成分を含有するフツリン酸塩系ガラスまたは銅成分を含有するリン酸塩系ガラスの厚みとしては、0.03~5mmの範囲であることが好ましく、強度および軽量化、低背化の観点から0.05~1mmの範囲がより好ましい。
 <ガラス基板>
 吸収の無いガラス基板としては、主成分として、珪酸塩を含む基板であれば、特に限定されるものではなく、結晶構造を有する石英ガラス基板等が挙げられる。ほかに、ホウ珪酸ガラス基板、ソーダガラス基板および色ガラス基板等を用いることができるが、とりわけ、無アルカリガラス基板、低α線ガラス基板等のガラス基板は、センサー素子への影響が少ないため、好ましい。
 <樹脂層(密着層)>
 本発明において、近赤外線吸収層と近赤外線反射膜の間には樹脂層があってもよい。特に、ガラス基板上に近赤外線吸収層を積層する場合には、前記近赤外線吸収層とガラス基板は、互いに化学的な組成、および熱線膨張率が異なるため、近赤外線吸収層とガラス基板との間に密着層を設けて、それらの十分な密着性を確保することが好ましい。前記密着層は近赤外線吸収層とガラス基板との間の密着性を確保できる材料からなれば、特に限定されないが、例えば、(a)(メタ)アクリロイル基含有化合物に由来する構造単位、(b)カルボン酸基含有化合物に由来する構造単位、および(c)エポキシ基含有化合物に由来する構造単位を有すると、近赤外線吸収層とガラス基板との密着性が高くなるため好ましい。
 前記(a)(メタ)アクリロイル基含有化合物に由来する構造単位、(b)カルボン酸基含有化合物に由来する構造単位、および(c)エポキシ基含有化合物に由来する構造単位としては、特に国際公開第2017/094672号明細書に記載の(a)(メタ)アクリロイル基含有化合物に由来する構造単位、(b)カルボン酸基含有化合物に由来する構造単位、および(c)エポキシ基含有化合物に由来する構造単位を好適に用いることができる。
 ≪任意成分≫
 前記密着層には、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲において、酸発生剤、密着助剤、界面活性剤、重合開始剤等の任意成分を添加することができる。これらの添加量は、所望の特性に応じて適宜選択されるが、前記(メタ)アクリロイル基含有化合物、前記カルボン酸基含有化合物および前記エポキシ基含有化合物の合計100質量部に対して、それぞれ通常0.01~15.0質量部、好ましくは0.05~10.0質量部であることが望ましい。
 ≪重合開始剤≫
 前記重合開始剤は、紫外線や電子線等の光線に感応してモノマー成分の重合を開始しうる活性種を生じる成分である。このような重合開始剤としては特に限定されるものではないが、O-アシルオキシム化合物、アセトフェノン化合物、ビイミダゾール化合物、アルキルフェノン化合物、ベンゾフェノン化合物などを挙げることができる。これらの具体例としては、エタノン-1-〔9-エチル-6-(2-メチルベンゾイル)-9H-カルバゾール-3-イル〕-1-(O-アセチルオキシム)、1-〔9-エチル-6-ベンゾイル-9.H.-カルバゾール-3-イル〕-オクタン-1-オンオキシム-O-アセテート、1-〔9-エチル-6-(2-メチルベンゾイル)-9.H.-カルバゾール-3-イル〕-エタン-1-オンオキシム-O-ベンゾエート、1-〔9-n-ブチル-6-(2-エチルベンゾイル)-9.H.-カルバゾール-3-イル〕-エタン-1-オンオキシム-O-ベンゾエート、エタノン-1-[9-エチル-6-(2-メチル-4-テトラヒドロフラニルベンゾイル)-9.H.-カルバゾール-3-イル]-1-(O-アセチルオキシム)、1,2-オクタンジオン-1-[4-(フェニルチオ)-2-(O-ベンゾイルオキシム)]、エタノン-1-〔9-エチル-6-(2-メチル-4-テトラヒドロピラニルベンゾイル)-9.H.-カルバゾール-3-イル〕-1-(O-アセチルオキシム)、エタノン-1-〔9-エチル-6-(2-メチル-5-テトラヒドロフラニルベンゾイル)-9.H.-カルバゾール-3-イル〕-1-(O-アセチルオキシム)、エタノン-1-〔9-エチル-6-{2-メチル-4-(2,2-ジメチル-1,3-ジオキソラニル)メトキシベンゾイル}-9.H.-カルバゾール-3-イル〕-1-(O-アセチルオキシム)、2-ベンジル-2-ジメチルアミノ-1-(4-モルホリノフェニル)-ブタン-1-オン、2-ジメチルアミノ-2-(4-メチルベンジル)-1-(4-モルフォリン-4-イル-フェニル)-ブタン-1-オン、2-メチル-1-(4-メチルチオフェニル)-2-モルフォリノプロパン-1-オン、1-フェニル-2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチルプロパン-1-オン、1-(4-i-プロピルフェニル)-2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチルプロパン-1-オン、4-(2-ヒドロキシエトキシ)フェニル-2-ヒドロキシ-2-プロピル)ケトン、1-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルベンゾフェノン、1-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトンなどを挙げることができる。これらの重合開始剤は単独で、または2種以上を混合して使用することができる。
 前記密着層は、例えば、前記(メタ)アクリロイル基含有化合物、前記カルボン酸基含有化合物、前記エポキシ基含有化合物および必要により前記任意成分を含む組成物(G)を溶融混練りして得られたペレットを溶融成形する方法、該組成物(G)および溶剤を含む液状組成物から溶剤を除去して得られたペレットを溶融成形する方法、または、上述の液状組成物をキャスティング(キャスト成形)する方法により製造することができる。溶融成形する方法およびキャスト成形する方法としては、前記と同様の方法等が挙げられる。
 前記(メタ)アクリロイル基含有化合物の配合量は、組成物(G)100質量部あたり、好ましくは30~70質量部、さらに好ましくは40~60質量部であり、前記カルボン酸基含有化合物の配合量は、組成物(G)100質量部あたり、好ましくは5~30質量部、さらに好ましくは10~25質量部であり、前記エポキシ基含有化合物の配合量は、組成物(G)100質量部あたり、好ましくは15~50質量部、さらに好ましくは20~40質量部である。
 また、任意成分の配合量は、所望の特性に応じて適宜選択されるが、組成物(G)100質量部あたり、好ましくは0.01~15.0質量部、さらに好ましくは0.05~10.0質量部である。
 密着層の厚みは、本発明の効果を損なわない限り特に制限されないが、好ましくは0.1~5.0μm、さらに好ましくは0.2~3.0μmである。
 [光学フィルターの用途]
 本発明の光学フィルターは、入射角度が大きい場合においても優れた可視透過率と近赤外線カット能を有する。したがって、光学式指紋認証センサー用として有用である。特に、デジタルスチルカメラ、スマートフォン、タブレット端末、携帯電話、ウェアラブルデバイス、自動車、テレビ、ゲーム機等に搭載される光学式指紋認証センサー用として有用である。
 [光学式指紋認証センサー]
 上述した本発明の光学フィルターと、光電変換素子を組み合わせて光学式指紋認証センサーとして用いることができる。ここで、光学式指紋認証センサーとは、指紋画像を取得して個人識別を行うためのセンサーであり、スマートフォンやタブレット、PC等において認証を行うことが可能である。
 <光学式指紋認証センサー1>
 図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る光学式指紋認証センサー100aを示す。光学式指紋認証センサー100aは、光学フィルター104及び光電変換素子102を備える。光電変換素子102は、受光部に光が入射すると光起電力効果により電流や電圧を発生する。図1は、一例として、第1電極106、光電変換層108、第2電極114を有する光電変換素子102を示す。光電変換層108は光電効果を発現する半導体で形成される。例えば、光電変換層108は、シリコン半導体を用いて形成される。光学フィルター104は光電変換素子102の受光面側に設けられている。光電変換素子102の受光面には光学フィルター104を通過した光が照射される。
 光学フィルター104により、光電変換素子102の受光面に入射する光は可視光線帯域の光となり、650nm~1200nmの光は遮断される。光学式指紋認証センサー100aは可視光線帯域の光に感応し、より正確な指紋画像を取得できる。
 光学フィルター104は、近赤外線反射層118と近赤外線吸収層120とを含む。光学フィルター104に入射した光は、近赤外線反射層118及び近赤外線吸収層120の作用を受け、近赤外線帯域の光強度が十分に低減される。光学フィルター104において、近赤外線反射層118と近赤外線吸収層120とは、重ねて設けられる。すなわち、近赤外線反射層118と近赤外線吸収層120とは入射光の光軸上に直列に配置される。このような配置により、光学フィルター104に対して垂直方向から入射する光はもとより、斜め方向から入射した光に対しても、近赤外線帯域の光を遮断することが可能となる。すなわち、光学フィルター104に斜め方向から光が入射する場合でも、透過光のスペクトル変化が抑制される。
 光学式指紋認証センサー100aは、光学フィルター104を備えることにより、広角で光を受光することができ、その場合でも視感度に合った外光強度を検知することが可能となる。
 なお、光学式指紋認証センサー100aにおいて光学フィルター104と光電変換素子102との間には他の透光性の層が介在していてもよい。例えば、光学フィルター104と光電変換素子102との間に、封止材として透光性を有する樹脂層が設けられていてもよい。
 <光学式指紋認証センサー2>
 図4は、指紋認証センサー受光素子102aおよび光学フィルター104を備えた光学式指紋認証センサー100aの断面構造の一例を示す。光学式指紋認証センサー100aは、受光素子102aで外光の強度を検知する。受光素子102aの上面には、光学フィルター104が設けられる。光学フィルター104により、受光素子102aの受光面に入射する光から、近赤外線波長領域の光が遮断され、可視光線帯域の光に感応し、より正確な指紋画像を取得できる。
 近赤外線反射層118と近赤外線吸収層120からなる光学フィルター104を使用することにより、光学式指紋認証センサー受光素子102aの受光面に入射する光から、近赤外線波長領域の光が遮断され、可視光線帯域の光に感応し、誤作動が少ない光学式指紋認証センサーを得ることができる。
 [センサーモジュール]
 本発明の光学フィルター、他の光学フィルター、レンズ、および光電変換素子等を組み合わせてセンサーモジュールとすることができる。
 [電子機器]
 本発明の電子機器は上述した本発明の光学式指紋認証センサーを含む。以下、図面を参照しながら、本発明の電子機器について説明する。
 図5(A)~(C)は電子機器136の一例を示す。なお、図5(A)は電子機器136の正面図、図5(B)は平面図、図5(C)は、図5(B)において点線で囲む領域の詳細を示す断面図である。電子機器136は、筐体138、表示パネル140、マイクロホン部142、スピーカ部144を含み、さらに光学式指紋認証センサー100(「光学式指紋認証センサー1」として説明される光学式指紋認証センサー100a又は「光学式指紋認証センサー2」として説明される光学式指紋認証センサー100b)を含む。光学式指紋認証センサー100は、光学フィルター104及び光電変換素子102を含んで構成される。表示パネル140はタッチパネルが採用され、表示機能に加え入力機能を兼ね備えている。
 光学式指紋認証センサー100には、筐体138に設けられる光学窓145を通して光が入射する。光学式指紋認証センサー100は、光学窓を介して可視光線帯域の光に感応し、指紋画像を検知する。
 電子機器136は、外観のデザイン性が重視され、光学式指紋認証センサー100に外光を入射させるために開孔を設けるのではなく、筐体138の光学窓145を透過させて、光学式指紋認証センサー100に光が当たる構造が採用されるようになっている。光学窓145は、例えば、電子機器136の表面パネルとして用いられる部材そのもの、またはその一部であり透光性を有している。しかし、表面パネルは電子機器136の外観を構成する部材であるので、色彩が施されているのが通常である。この場合、光学窓145は、可視光線の透過光量が低下し、近赤外線の情報に埋もれてしまうという問題が生じる。しかしながら、本実施形態によれば、光学式指紋認証センサー100に光学フィルター104が設けられていることにより、近赤外線のノイズを除外して、可視光線を検知することができる。
 本実施形態によれば、光学式指紋認証センサー100において、光学フィルター104が光電変換素子102の受光面に近接して設けられていることにより、広角で入射する光に対しても正確に可視透過光を測定することができる。
 以下、本発明を実施例により説明するが、本発明は、この実施例により何ら限定されるものではない。なお、「部」および「% 」は、特に断りのない限り「質量部」および「質量% 」を意味する。また、各物性値の測定方法および物性の評価方法は以下のとおりである。
 <分子量>
 樹脂の分子量は、各樹脂の溶剤への溶解性等を考慮し、下記の(a)、(b)または(c)の方法にて測定を行った。
 (a)ウオターズ(WATERS)社製のゲルパーミエ-ションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)装置(150C型、カラム:東ソー社製Hタイプカラム、展開溶剤:o-ジクロロベンゼン)を用い、標準ポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)および数平均分子量(Mn)を測定した。
 (b)東ソー社製GPC装置(HLC-8220型、カラム:TSKgelα‐M、展開溶剤:THF)を用い、標準ポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)および数平均分子量(Mn)を測定した。
 (c)ポリイミド樹脂溶液の一部を無水メタノールに投入してポリイミド樹脂を析出させ、ろ過して未反応単量体から分離した。80℃で12時間真空乾燥して得られたポリイミド0.1gをN-メチル-2-ピロリドン20mLに溶解し、キャノン-フェンスケ粘度計を使用して30℃における対数粘度(μ)を下記式により求めた。

 <ガラス転移温度(Tg)>
 エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジーズ株式会社製の示差走査熱量計(DSC6200)を用いて、昇温速度:毎分20℃、窒素気流下で測定した。
 <飽和吸水率>
 ASTM D570に準拠し、試験片を23℃の水中に1週間浸漬させた後、試験片の質量変化より吸水率を測定した。
 <分光透過率>
 各種透過率および波長等は、日本分光株式会社製の分光光度計(V-7200)を用いて測定した。
 ここで、光学フィルターの垂直方向から測定した場合の透過率では、図6(A)のように光学フィルター3に対して垂直に透過した光1を分光光度計8で測定し、光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して30°の角度から測定した場合の透過率では、図6(B)のように光学フィルター3の垂直方向に対して30°の角度で透過した光1'を分光光度計8で測定した。
 また、光学フィルターの面と同じ面に対して垂直方向より5°の角度から測定した場合の反射率は、図7(C)のように光学フィルター3の垂直方向に対して5°の角度で入射する光が反射した光11を分光光度計8で測定し、光学フィルターの面と同じ面に対して垂直方向より30°の角度から測定した場合の反射率は、図7(D)のように光学フィルター3の垂直方向に対して30°の角度で入射する光が反射した光12を分光光度計8で測定し、光学フィルターの面と同じ面に対して垂直方向より60°の角度から測定した場合の反射率は、図7(E)のように光学フィルター3の垂直方向に対して60°の角度で入射する光が反射した光13を分光光度計8で測定した。
 なお、この透過率は、「光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して30°の角度から測定した場合の平均透過率」、「光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して5°の角度から測定した場合の平均反射率」、「光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して30°の角度から測定した場合の平均反射率」、「光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して60°の角度から測定した場合の平均反射率」を測定する場合を除き、光が基板およびフィルターに対して垂直に入射する条件で、該分光光度計を使用して測定したものである。「光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して60°の角度から測定した場合の平均反射率」を測定する場合には、光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して60°の角度で入射する条件で該分光光度計を使用して測定したものである。「光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して30°の角度から測定した場合の平均透過率」および「光学フィルターの垂直方向に対して30°の角度から測定した場合の平均反射率」を測定する場合には、光がフィルターの垂直方向に対して30°の角度で入射する条件で該分光光度計を使用して測定したものである。
 <指紋認証センサー感度特性>
 光学フィルターの光学特性(光学フィルターを透過する光の光学特性)と指紋認証センサー、との比較を行い、図4と同様の構成の指紋認証センサーを作成した場合の指紋認証センサー感度特性の評価を行った。評価判断は下記の基準に基づいて行った。
 ○:入射角度によらず指紋認証センサーに入射する赤色光、近赤外光を遮断でき、高いセンサー感度特性が得られた。
 ×:入射角度により指紋認証センサーへの入射光の光学特性が変化するため、指紋画像のコントラストが低く、センサー感度特性が低いものであった。
 ××:入射角度により指紋認証センサーへの入射光の光学特性が変化し、センサー感度特性が低く、更に、得られた光学フィルターは650~1000nmの透過率が高いため、光学フィルターによる赤色光カットと近赤外線カットが不十分であり、指紋画像が不鮮明であり、指紋認証センサーの誤作動を招いた。
 [合成例]
 下記実施例および比較例で用いた化合物(A)は、一般的に知られている方法で合成した。一般的合成方法としては、例えば、特許第3366697号公報、特許第2846091号公報、特許第2864475号公報、特許第3703869号公報、特開昭60-228448号公報、特開平1-146846号公報、特開平1-228960号公報、特許第4081149号公報、特開昭63-124054号公報、「フタロシアニン -化学と機能―」(アイピーシー、1997年)、特開2007-169315号公報、特開2009-108267号公報、特開2010-241873号公報、特許第3699464号公報、特許第4740631号公報などに記載されている方法を挙げることができる。
 <樹脂合成例1>
 下記式(2)で表される8-メチル-8-メトキシカルボニルテトラシクロ[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]ドデカ-3-エン(以下「DNM」ともいう。)100部と、1-ヘキセン(分子量調節剤)18部と、トルエン(開環重合反応用溶媒)300部とを、窒素置換した反応容器に仕込み、この溶液を80℃に加熱した。次いで、反応容器内の溶液に、重合触媒として、トリエチルアルミニウムのトルエン溶液(0.6mol/リットル)0.2部と、メタノール変性の六塩化タングステンのトルエン溶液(濃度0.025mol/リットル)0.9部とを添加し、この溶液を80℃で3時間加熱攪拌することにより開環重合反応させて開環重合体溶液を得た。この重合反応における重合転化率は97%であった。

 このようにして得られた開環重合体溶液1,000部をオートクレーブに仕込み、この開環重合体溶液に、RuHCl(CO)[P(C6533を0.12部添加し、水素ガス圧100kg/cm2、反応温度165℃の条件下で、3時間加熱撹拌して水素添加反応を行った。
 得られた反応溶液(水素添加重合体溶液)を冷却した後、水素ガスを放圧した。この反応溶液を大量のメタノール中に注いで凝固物を分離回収し、これを乾燥して、水素添加重合体(以下「樹脂A」ともいう。)を得た。樹脂Aの分子量は数平均分子量(Mn)が32,000、重量平均分子量(Mw)が137,000であり、ガラス転移温度(Tg)は165℃であった。
 <樹脂合成例2>
 十分に乾燥し、窒素置換した1リットルのステンレス製オートクレーブに、水分6ppmの脱水されたシクロヘキサン;420.4g、p-キシレン;180.2g、5-トリメトキシシリル-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタ-2-エン;48.75ミリモル(10.43g)、ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタ-2-エン;1,425ミリモル(134.1g)を仕込み、ガス状のエチレンをオートクレーブ内圧が0.1MPaになるように仕込んだ。
 オートクレーブを75℃に加温して、触媒成分である2-エチルヘキサン酸パラジウム(Pd原子として);0.003ミリグラム原子とトリシクロヘキシルホスフィン;0.0015ミリモルとをトルエン;10ml中25℃で1時間反応させた溶液全量、トリフェニルカルベニウムペンタフルオロフェニルボレート;0.00315ミリモル、の順に添加して重合を開始した。
 重合開始90分後に5-トリメトキシトキシシリル-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタ-2-エン;11.25ミリモル(2.41g)、その後30分毎に7.5ミリモル(1.61g)、3.75ミリモル(0.80g)、3.75ミリモルと計4回添加した。
 重合反応を75℃で4時間行った後、トリブチルアミン;1mlを添加して重合を停止し、固形分19.9質量%の付加重合体Bの溶液を得た。付加重合体Bの溶液の一部をイソプロパノールに入れ、凝固し、さらに乾燥することにより、付加重合体B(以下「樹脂B」ともいう。)を得た。
 この重合体Bの270MHz-核磁気共鳴分析(1H-NMR分析)の結果、重合体B中の5-トリメトキシシリル-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタ-2-エン由来の構造単位の割合は4.8モル%で、分子量は数平均分子量(Mn)が74,000、重量平均分子量(Mw)が185,000であり、ガラス転移温度(Tg)は360℃、飽和吸水率は0.35%であった。
 <樹脂合成例3>
 温度計、撹拌器、窒素導入管、側管付き滴下ロート、ディーンスターク、冷却管を備えた500mLの5つ口フラスコに、窒素気流下、4,4'-ジアミノジフェニルエーテル 10.0質量部(0.05モル)と、溶剤としてN-メチル-2-ピロリドン 85質量部を仕込んで溶解させた後、1,2,4,5-シクロヘキサンテトラカルボン酸二無水物 11.2質量部(0.05モル)を室温にて固体のまま1時間かけて分割投入し、室温下2時間撹拌した。
 次に、共沸脱水溶剤としてキシレン 30.0質量部を添加して180℃に昇温して3時間反応を行い、ディーンスタークでキシレンを還流させて、共沸してくる生成水を分離した。3時間後、水の留出が終わったことを確認し、1時間かけて190℃に昇温しながらキシレンを留去し29.0質量部を回収した後、内温が60℃になるまで空冷してポリイミドのN-メチル-2-ピロリドン溶液(以下「ポリイミド溶液C」という。)105.4質量部を得た。
 <樹脂合成例4>
 3Lの4つ口フラスコに2,6-ジフルオロベンゾニトリル35.12g(0.253mol)、9,9-ビス(4-ヒドロキシフェニル)フルオレン87.60g(0.250mol)、炭酸カリウム41.46g(0.300mol)、N,N-ジメチルアセトアミド(以下「DMAc」ともいう。)443gおよびトルエン111gを添加した。続いて、4つ口フラスコに温度計、撹拌機、窒素導入管付き三方コック、ディーンスターク管および冷却管を取り付けた。次いで、フラスコ内を窒素置換した後、得られた溶液を140℃で3時間反応させ、生成する水をディーンスターク管から随時取り除いた。水の生成が認められなくなったところで、徐々に温度を160℃まで上昇させ、そのままの温度で6時間反応させた。室温(25℃)まで冷却後、生成した塩をろ紙で除去し、ろ液をメタノールに投じて再沈殿させ、ろ別によりろ物(残渣)を単離した。得られたろ物を60℃で一晩真空乾燥し、白色粉末(以下「樹脂D」ともいう。)を得た(収率95%)。得られた樹脂Dは、数平均分子量(Mn)が75,000、重量平均分子量(Mw)が188,000であり、ガラス転移温度(Tg)が285℃であった。
 <樹脂合成例5>
 温度計、撹拌器、窒素導入管、側管付き滴下ロート、ディーンスターク管および冷却管を備えた500mLの5つ口フラスコに、窒素気流下、1,4-ビス(4-アミノ-α,α-ジメチルベンジル)ベンゼン27.66g(0.08モル)および4,4'-ビス(4-アミノフェノキシ)ビフェニル7.38g(0.02モル)を入れて、γ―ブチロラクトン68.65g及びN,N-ジメチルアセトアミド17.16gに溶解させた。得られた溶液を、氷水バスを用いて5℃に冷却し、同温に保ちながら1,2,4,5-シクロヘキサンテトラカルボン酸二無水物22.62g(0.1モル)およびイミド化触媒としてトリエチルアミン0.50g(0.005モル)を一括添加した。添加終了後、180℃に昇温し、随時留出液を留去させながら、6時間還流させた。反応終了後、内温が100℃になるまで空冷した後、N,N-ジメチルアセトアミド143.6gを加えて希釈し、攪拌しながら冷却し、固形分濃度20質量%のポリイミド樹脂溶液264.16gを得た。このポリイミド樹脂溶液の一部を1Lのメタノール中に注ぎいれてポリイミドを沈殿させた。濾別したポリイミドをメタノールで洗浄した後、100℃の真空乾燥機中で24時間乾燥させて白色粉末(以下「樹脂E」ともいう。)を得た。得られた樹脂EのIRスペクトルを測定したところ、イミド基に特有の1704cm-1、1770cm-1の吸収が見られた。樹脂Eはガラス転移温度(Tg)が310℃であり、対数粘度を測定したところ、0.87であった。
 [実施例1]
 樹脂合成例1で得た樹脂Aを100質量部に、化合物(A)として、化合物(b-38)(吸収極大波長;710nm)0.1質量部、化合物(a-2)(吸収極大波長;647nm)0.07質量部、および化合物(a-8)(吸収極大波長;685nm)0.10質量部を加え、さらにトルエンを加えて溶解し、固形分が30質量%の溶液を得た。得られた溶液を平滑なガラス板上にキャストし、60℃で8時間、次いで100℃で8時間乾燥した後、ガラス板から剥離した。剥離した樹脂をさらに減圧下100℃で8時間乾燥して、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得た。
 得られた基材の面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の、吸収極大波長は648nm、650~670nmにおける平均透過率は0%であった。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 続いて、得られた基材に、蒸着温度150℃で近赤外線を反射する多層蒸着膜〔シリカ(SiO2)層とチタニア(TiO2)層とが交互に積層されてなるもの〕を表1のような設計で形成し、厚さ0.105mmの光学フィルターを得た。

 得られた光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の、430~580nmにおける平均透過率は83%、650~1000nmにおける平均透過率は0%、波長570~625nmにおいて透過率が50%となる最も短い波長(Ya)は581nmであった。また、前記光学フィルターの前記測定面に対して垂直方向より5°の角度から測定した場合の反射率が50%となる波長(Yb)は744nmであった。それゆえ、YbとYaの差(Yb-Ya)は163nmであった。また、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より30°の角度から測定した場合(入射角30°)の、650~670nmにおける平均透過率は0%、650~670nmにおける平均反射率は0%であった。さらに、光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より60°の角度から測定した場合(入射角60°)の、650~670nmにおける平均反射率は6%であった。この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの感度特性は○であった。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [実施例2]
 化合物(A)として、化合物(b-37)(吸収極大波長;710nm)0.06質量部および化合物(c-20)(吸収極大波長;685nm)0.07質量部を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得て光学特性を評価した。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.105mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [実施例3]
 化合物(A)として、化合物(b-38)(吸収極大波長;710nm)0.10質量部、化合物(a-22)(吸収極大波長;670nm)0.04質量部および化合物(a-8)(吸収極大波長;685nm)0.02質量部を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得て光学特性を評価した。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.105mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [実施例4]
 樹脂合成例3で得たポリイミド溶液C100質量部に、化合物(A)として、化合物(b-11)0.04質量部および化合物(c-2)0.18質量部を加え、固形分が20質量%の溶液を得た。得られた溶液を平滑なガラス板上にキャストし、60℃で4時間、次いで80℃で4時間乾燥した後、ガラス板から剥離した。剥離した樹脂をさらに減圧下120℃で8時間乾燥して、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得た。得られた基材の分光透過率を実施例1と同様に測定し、光学特性を評価した。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.115mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
  [実施例5]
 日本ゼオン株式会社製のノルボルネン系樹脂「ゼオノア1400R」(樹脂F)100質量部に、化合物(A)として、化合物(b-39)(吸収極大波長;747nm)0.31質量部および化合物(a-17)0.11質量部を加え、さらにシクロヘキサンとキシレンの7:3混合溶液を加えて溶解し、固形分が20質量%の溶液を得た。得られた溶液を平滑なガラス板上にキャストし、60℃で8時間、次いで80℃で8時間乾燥した後、ガラス板から剥離した。剥離した樹脂をさらに減圧下100℃で24時間乾燥して、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得た。得られた基材の分光透過率を実施例1と同様に測定し、光学特性を評価した。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.105mmの近赤外線カットフィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [実施例6]
 容器に、樹脂合成例1で得られた樹脂A100質量部、化合物(A)として化合物(a-22)(吸収極大波長;670nm)2.00質量部、およびトルエンを加えて樹脂濃度が20質量%の溶液を調製した。得られた溶液を、縦60mm、横60mmの大きさにカットした松浪硝子工業(株)製近赤外線吸収ガラス基板「BS-6」(厚み210μm)上にキャストし、20℃で8時間乾燥した後、さらに減圧下100℃で8時間乾燥して、厚さ0.22mm、縦60mm、横60mmの樹脂層とガラス支持体とからなる基材を得た。得られた基材の分光透過率を実施例1と同様に測定し、光学特性を評価した。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.225mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [実施例7]
 縦60mm、横60mmの大きさにカットした日本電気硝子(株)製透明ガラス基板「OA-10G」(厚み200um)上に、下記組成の樹脂組成物(H)をバーコーターで塗布し、オーブン中70℃で2分間加熱し、溶剤を揮発除去した。この際、乾燥後の厚みが4μmとなるように、バーコーターの塗布条件を調整した。次に、コンベア式露光機を用いて露光(露光量500mJ/cm2,200mW)を行い、樹脂組成物(H)を硬化させ、ガラス支持体上に樹脂層を形成した。得られた基材の分光透過率を実施例1と同様に測定し、光学特性を評価した。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.109mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 樹脂組成物(H):トリシクロデカンジメタノールアクリレート60質量部、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレート40質量部、1-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン5質量部、化合物(b-38)2.00質量部、化合物(a-22)2.00質量部、化合物(c-20)0.30質量部、およびメチルエチルケトン(溶剤、固形分濃度(TSC):30質量%)。
 [実施例8]
 日本ゼオン株式会社製のノルボルネン系樹脂「ゼオノア1400R」(樹脂F)100質量部をシクロヘキサンで溶解し、固形分が20質量%の溶液を得た。得られた溶液を平滑なガラス板上にキャストし、60℃で8時間、次いで80℃で8時間乾燥した後、ガラス板から剥離した。剥離した樹脂をさらに減圧下100℃で24時間乾燥して、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの樹脂製支持体を得た。別容器に、樹脂合成例1で得られた樹脂Aを100質量部、化合物(a-2)0.5質量部、化合物(a-8)1.5質量部、およびトルエンを加えて樹脂濃度が20質量%の溶液を調製した。得られた溶液を上記樹脂製支持体上にキャストし、60℃で8時間、次いで100℃で8時間乾燥して、厚さ0.11mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得た。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.115mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [比較例1]
 樹脂合成例1で得た樹脂A100質量部に、化合物(b-39)0.09質量部を加え、さらにトルエンを加えて溶解し、固形分が30質量%の溶液を得た。得られた溶液を平滑なガラス板上にキャストし、60℃で8時間、次いで100℃で8時間乾燥した後、ガラス板から剥離した。剥離した樹脂をさらに減圧下100℃で8時間乾燥して、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得た。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.115mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [比較例2]
 化合物(A)を用いなかったこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.1mm、一辺が60mmの基材を得た。さらに、得られた基材を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ0.105mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。
 [比較例3]
 多層蒸着膜を表3のようにしたこと以外は比較例2と同様にして、厚さ0.106mmの光学フィルターを得て光学特性を評価した。次いで、この光学フィルターを具備した指紋認証センサーの性能評価を実施例1と同様に行った。これらの結果を表3に示す。

Claims (7)

  1.  樹脂層を含む基材(i)と、前記基材(i)の少なくとも一方の面に設けられた誘電体多層膜とを有する光学フィルターであって、
     波長570~625nmにおいて、前記光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の透過率が50%となる最も短い波長を(Ya)nmとし、波長600~1000nmにおいて、前記光学フィルターの前記面に対して垂直方向より5°の角度から測定した場合の反射率が50%となる波長を(Yb)nmとしたとき、(Yb)が{(Ya)+80}nm以上であることを特徴とする光学フィルター。
  2.  前記基材(i)の吸収極大波長が630~800nmの範囲内にあり、かつ、前記基材(i)の面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均透過率が20%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学フィルター。
  3.  光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向から測定した場合の波長650~1000nmにおける平均透過率が20%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光学フィルター。
  4.  光学フィルターの面に対して垂直方向より30°の角度から測定した場合の波長650~670nmにおける平均反射率が20%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
  5.  前記基材(i)は、波長630~800nmに吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を含有する樹脂製基板(ii)であることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
  6.  前記基材(i)は、ガラス支持体上に、波長630~800nmに吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を含有する樹脂層が積層された基材であることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
  7.  前記基材(i)は、樹脂製支持体上に、波長630~800nmに吸収極大を有する化合物(A)を含有する樹脂層が積層された基材であることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルター。
