Definitions
- the present invention relates to an absorbent article including an absorbent body having a compressed part.
- Absorbent articles such as disposable diapers have an absorber that absorbs liquid such as urine.
- liquid such as urine.
- lattice-shaped compressed grooves are formed in the absorber. It is said that by forming a compression groove in the absorber, its bending rigidity is increased, and the shape retention of the absorber is maintained.
- the rigidity of the absorber is increased by the pressing part (emboss). Therefore, when the lattice-shaped squeezed portion is formed in the absorber, the shape retention of the absorber is easily maintained. However, on the other hand, the rigidity of the absorber may increase, and the touch may decrease.
- the absorbent article has an absorber and a compressed part that squeezes the absorber.
- the absorber has an absorbent core and a core wrap that surrounds the absorbent core.

- a ratio of a maximum thickness of the absorption core to a maximum length of the cell is 0.16 or less.
- the absorbent core of the cell does not swell too much, so that the core wrap on the non-skin side can be prevented from coming off the absorbent core. Thereby, the core wrap on the non-skin side is firmly joined to the absorbent core, so that the effect of suppressing the shape loss of the absorbent body is enhanced.
- a non-bonding region between the core wrap and the absorbent core closer to the skin surface than the absorbent core is a non-bonding region between the core wrap and the absorbent core closer to the non-skin surface than the absorbent core. Greater than.
- the non-joining area between the core wrap and the absorbent core on the non-skin side is smaller than the absorbent core, that is, the joining area is large, the core wrap on the non-skin side and the absorbent core are firmly joined. Therefore, the shape retention of the absorber is easily maintained.

- At least a part of the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side than the absorbent core 40a is joined to the absorbent core 40a. At least a part of the core wrap 40b on the skin side with respect to the skin 40a is not joined to the absorbent core 40a.
- at least a part of the non-joined portion 36a where the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the skin surface side than the absorbent core 40a are not joined is formed on the non-skin surface side of the absorbent core 40a.
- the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a are provided so as to face the joint 35b where the core 40a is joined.
- the lattice-shaped squeezed portion 80 is formed in the absorber 40, the bending rigidity of the absorber 40 is increased, and the shape retention of the absorber 40 is easily maintained.
- a joint 35b is provided so as to overlap with the compressed portion 80 in plan view, and at least a part of the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side than the absorbent core 40a is joined to the absorbent core 40a.
- the lattice-shaped squeezed portion 80 makes it easier to maintain the shape retention of the absorber 40, and suppresses the shape loss of the absorber 40.
- the non-joined portion 36a is provided in a region overlapping the compressed portion 80 in a plan view, and at least a part of the core wrap 40b on the skin surface side of the absorbent core 40a is not joined to the absorbent core 40a. Accordingly, the core wrap 40b and the surface sheet 50 on the skin side thereof are less likely to be uneven by the pressed part 80 on the skin side because the core wrap 40b and the surface sheet 50 on the skin side are less likely to be felt, so that the feel to the touch can be improved.
- a second non-joined portion in which the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side than the absorbent core 40a is not joined to the absorbent core 40a may be provided in a region overlapping the compressed portion 80 in plan view. It is preferable that a non-joining region between the core wrap 40b on the skin surface side of the absorbent core 40a and the absorbent core 40a is larger than a non-joining region between the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the non-skin surface side of the absorbent core 40a.
- the non-joined area between the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the skin surface side with respect to the absorbent core 40a is an area where the non-joined portion 36a between the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the skin surface side with respect to the absorbent core 40a is arranged.
- the non-joining region between the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side with respect to the absorbent core 40a and the absorbent core 40a has a second non-joined portion where the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side with respect to the absorbent core 40a is not joined with the absorbent core 40a. This is the area in which they are arranged.
- the area of the non-joining area between the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the non-skin side than the absorbent core 40a is small, that is, the area of the joining area between the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the non-skin side than the absorbent core 40a is small. Since it is large, the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side and the absorbent core 40a are firmly joined. Therefore, the shape retention of the absorber is easily maintained.
- the non-bonding region between the core wrap 40b on the skin side of the absorbent core 40a and the absorbent core 40a is large, the core wrap 40b and the surface sheet 50 on the skin side are easily lifted up from the squeezed portion 80, and the skin side is Since the unevenness due to the squeezing portion 80 is less likely to be felt, the touch can be further improved.
- the second non-joined portion in which the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side than the absorbent core 40a is not joined to the absorbent core 40a may not be provided.
- the depth of the skin-side pressing part 80a is larger than the depth of the non-skin-side pressing part 80b.
- the core wrap 40b on the skin surface side is stretched deeply, so that a force for returning to the original state is more likely to work. Thereby, the core wrap 40b on the skin side tends to be non-bonded to the absorbent core 40a. For this reason, the core wrap 40b on the skin surface side easily returns to the top sheet 50 side, so that the core wrap 40b is more easily lifted from the compressed portion 80, and the unevenness due to the compressed portion 80 on the skin surface side is not easily felt.
- the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side is not stretched much when forming the compressed portion 80 in the absorbent body 40, so that it is easy to maintain the state of being joined to the absorbent core 40a.
- the elongation of the core wrap 40b on the skin side of the absorbent core 40a is smaller than the elongation of the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 40a. Since the elongation of the skin-side core wrap 40b is smaller than the elongation of the non-skin-side core wrap 40b of the absorbent core 40a, the skin-side core wrap 40b tends to return to its original state even if it is once extended. That is, when pressing the absorbent core 40a and the core wrap 40b in the thickness direction when forming the compressed portion 80 in the absorber 40, the core wrap 40b on the skin surface side easily returns to the original state.
- the skin-side core wrap 40b is likely to be non-bonded to the absorbent core 40a. Furthermore, since the core wrap 40b on the skin surface side easily returns to the top sheet 50 side, the core wrap 40b is more easily lifted from the compressed portion 80, and the unevenness due to the compressed portion 80 on the skin surface side is not easily felt. On the other hand, since the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side has a relatively high elongation, the core wrap 40b deforms together with the absorbent core 40a when forming the squeezed portion 80 in the absorber 40, and maintains the state of being joined to the absorbent core 40a. easy.
- the elongation of the core wrap 40b can be measured by the following method.
- the core wrap 40b is cut out from the absorbent article 10 to obtain a measurement sample.
- the measurement sample may be a strip-shaped test piece having a length of 150 mm and a width of 25 mm.
- a tensile tester manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation, Autograph, model AGS-1kNG
- the measurement samples were measured for 100 mm of three measurement samples.
- the tensile elongation is measured under the conditions of a distance between chucks and a tensile speed of 100 mm / min.
- the average value of the tensile elongations of the three measurement samples is defined as the tensile elongation.
- the basis weight of the adhesive 30a on the skin side of the absorbent core 40a is preferably smaller than the basis weight of the adhesive 30b on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 40a. Since the basis weight of the adhesive that can adhere to the skin-side core wrap 40b is small, the skin-side core wrap 40b tends to be non-bonded to the absorbent core 40a, and the absorbent body 40 is less likely to be hard on the skin side. . Therefore, the touch of the absorber 40 can be further improved. On the other hand, since the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the non-skin side are firmly joined by the adhesive 30b having a large basis weight, the shape retention of the absorber 40 is easily maintained.
- the basis weight of the adhesive is calculated by dividing the application amount (mass) of the adhesive applied to a predetermined area of the absorbent core 40a or the core wrap 40b by the predetermined area.
- the basis weight of the adhesive may be defined by a value obtained by dividing the total weight of the adhesive applied to the entire absorbent core 40a or the core wrap 40b by the area of the absorbent core 40a or the core wrap 40b.
- the non-skin side compressed portion 80b it is preferable that at least a part of the non-skin side back sheets 60 and 62 of the absorbent core 40a are joined to the core wrap 40b. In the present embodiment, at least a portion of the leak-proof sheet 62 as the back sheet is joined to the core wrap 40b in the region of the non-skin-side compressed portion 80b.
- the lattice-shaped squeezed part 80 is firmly formed on the non-skin side. Thereby, the shape retention of the absorber 40 is more easily maintained, and the shape loss of the absorber 40 is further suppressed.
- the leak-proof sheet 62 is joined to the core wrap 40b in the region of the non-skin-side compressed portion 80b.
- the leak-proof sheet 62 may be constituted by a sheet having a higher rigidity than a nonwoven fabric, such as a liquid-impermeable film.
- a nonwoven fabric such as a liquid-impermeable film.
- the topsheet 50 does not have to be joined to the core wrap 40b at least in the region of the pressing portion 80. In this case, since the topsheet 50 is easily lifted from the absorbent core 40a, the unevenness due to the squeezing portion 80 on the skin surface side is not easily felt, so that the touch can be further improved.
- the ratio of the maximum thickness of the absorbent core 40a to the maximum length of the cell 46 is preferably 0.09 or more.
- the lattice-shaped squeezed portion 80 is firmly formed, and the shape retention of the absorber 40 is easily maintained.
- the thickness of the absorbent core 40a can be measured, for example, by cutting the absorber with a cutter in a state where the absorber is solidified with liquid nitrogen, and observing the cut cross section of the absorber with an electron microscope.
- the ratio of the maximum thickness of the absorbent core 40a to the maximum length of the cell 46 is preferably 0.16 or less.
- the ratio of the maximum thickness of the absorbent core 40a to the maximum length of the cell 46 in the width direction W is preferably 0.16 or less, more preferably 0.15 or less.
- the absorbent core 40a of the cell 46 does not swell too much, so that the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side can be prevented from coming off the absorbent core 40a. Thereby, the core wrap 40b on the non-skin side is firmly joined to the absorbent core 40a, so that the effect of suppressing the shape loss of the absorber 40 is enhanced.
- Table 1 shows the size of the cells 46 partitioned by the compressed parts 80 and the measurement results of the bonding property between the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a at the non-skin-side compressed parts 80b.
- Examples 1 to 5 shown in Table 1 the size and thickness of the cell 46 formed by the squeezed portion 80 are different.
- the maximum length W1 in the width direction of the cell 46 and the maximum thickness T1 of the cell 46 are shown in Table 1.
- the bonding property between the non-skin side core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a was confirmed by an electron microscope.
- the evaluation of the joining property is indicated by “ ⁇ ”.
- the bondability between the core wrap 40b and the absorbent core 40a on the non-skin side is reduced, that is, when a non-bonded region is observed, the evaluation of the bondability is indicated by “x”.
- the ratio of the maximum thickness T1 of the absorbent core to the maximum length W1 in the width direction W of the cell 46 is preferably 0.16 or less, more preferably 0.15 or less, and further preferably 0.14 or less. May be.
- Table 1 also shows the results of evaluating the visibility of the lattice-shaped squeezed portion 80 in each example. Visibility was measured by sensory evaluation by multiple users. “O” in Table 1 indicates that all the users among the plurality of users were able to recognize the squeezing line EL of the absorber 40 via the topsheet 50 when viewed from the skin side, and the result that the visibility was determined to be high. Is shown. “X” in Table 1 indicates a case where some of the plurality of users could not recognize the squeezed line EL of the absorber 40 via the topsheet 50 when viewed from the skin side, and determined that the visibility was low. The results are shown. From Table 1, the ratio of the maximum thickness T1 of the absorbent core 40a to the maximum length W1 in the width direction of the cell 46 is preferably 0.09 or more, and more preferably 0.10 or more.
- FIG. 5 is a view showing a pattern of a squeezed portion of the absorber according to the second embodiment. Some squeezed portions of the plurality of squeezed portions 80 are inclined with respect to other squeezed portions of the plurality of squeezed lines to form a grid. In the present embodiment, each pressing portion 80 is formed intermittently by the intermittent portion 86. Thus, the pressing unit 80 may extend intermittently so as to draw a broken line.
- the pressing unit 80 may extend continuously in one direction.
- the pressing unit 80 is formed so as to divide the absorber into a number of substantially square sections.
- FIG. 6 is a view showing a pattern of a squeezed portion of the absorber according to the third embodiment. Some squeezed portions of the plurality of squeezed portions 80 are inclined with respect to other squeezed portions of the plurality of squeezed portions 80 so as to form a lattice. Each pressing part 80 extends in one direction while being curved in a wave shape.
