In typical printing, an upper end of a document is usually first discharged. Thus, in order that a bottom end of a document transmitted to the image forming apparatus 200 is output first, rendering is performed after turning upside down the document requested to be printed.
  • the synchronization processor 113 may synchronize an operation in which a document that is transmitted to the image forming apparatus 200 is output from the image forming apparatus 200 with an operation in which a preview image of the document disappears from a screen of the user interface device 120, based on time information of time taken in each stage of a printing process with respect to the document rendered by the rendering processor 111.
  • the synchronization processor 113 may perform a time calculation regarding synchronization by using a lookup table that stores information on measured time needed for a printing processor in each stage to synchronize the two operations.
  • the synchronization processor 113 may read a lookup table from the memory 140.
  • the lookup table may include information on measured periods of time that have been taken according to a model of the image forming apparatus 200, options regarding a printing job, printing content, or the like, wherein valid statistics may be reflected in the information of the lookup table.
  • Valid data may be collected and reflected in the lookup table by performing time prediction using machine learning for printing under various conditions.
  • Examples of time information of time taken in each step of a printing process may include maintenance time needed for preparation, such as pre-rendering time, remaining spooling time, warm-up time for alignment of a head and preheating, detecting ink or toner status, head cleaning, trial operations, or the like, and time information about pre-processing such as first data transfer time needed to transmit initial area data of an initial printing product.
  • examples of time information may include time information having values that vary according to printing job options, such as processing time according to printing quality options, processing time according to the ratio of images and characters of a document, processing time according to printing options such as double-sided or right-side up printing, or the like.
  • examples of time information may include time information related to post-processing such as a delay time due to a finisher, or the like, and a standby time according to printing jobs queued in a spooler, or the like.
  • the printing processor 115 may be connected to the device interface 130 or a communication interface such that a document may be transmitted to the image forming apparatus 200.
  • the printing processor 115 may check a status of the image forming apparatus 200.
  • the printing processor 115 may include a module such as a printing process controller, a spooler, a port monitor, or the like.
  • the processor 110 may execute instructions and synchronize an operation in which a document transmitted to the image forming apparatus 200 via the device interface 130 is output from the image forming apparatus 200 with an operation in which a preview image of the document disappears from a screen of the user interface device 120. Based on the synchronization, the processor 110 may control the preview image such that the preview image disappears from the screen of the user interface device 120 in accordance with outputting of the document. The processor 110 may control a portion of the preview image corresponding to an output portion of the document such that the portion of the preview image corresponding to the output portion of the document disappears from the screen of the user interface device 120. In an example, a proportion of the preview image corresponding to a proportion of the document output from the image forming apparatus 200 may disappear from the screen of the user interface device 120.
  • the processor 110 may determine a point in time, corresponding to a point in time of a start of outputting of a document from the image forming apparatus 200, when a preview image of the document starts disappearing from the screen of the user interface device 120.
  • the processor 110 may determine a position of a preview image on the screen of the user interface device 120 while the document is being output from the image forming apparatus 200.
  • the processor 110 may generate synchronization data about a position of a preview image of the document on a screen from a point in time when the preview image of the document starts disappearing from the screen of the user interface device 120 to a point in time when the preview image of the document disappears from the screen of the user interface device 120.
  • the processor 110 may move the preview image within the screen of the user interface device 120 based on synchronization data.
  • the image forming apparatus 200 is located behind the user interface device 120 of the electronic device 100.
  • a user may identify a document on the user interface device 120 and request to print the document.
  • the document is printed from the image forming apparatus 200 behind the user interface device 120, and thus the user may see a printing operation in a single working space.
  • an initial position of a preview image on the screen of the user interface device 120 may be determined according to a position of the outlet.
  • the processor 110 of the electronic device 100 may determine an initial position of a preview image on the screen of the user interface device 120 according to the position of the outlet of the image forming apparatus 200 by considering a position of the image forming apparatus 200 with respect to the user interface device 120. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 3, when an outlet through which a document is output from the image forming apparatus 200 is located at a bottom center portion of the screen of the user interface device 120, a preview image of the document may be located at a center of the screen of the user interface device 120.
  • an order of preview images may be changed to place a preview image of a document corresponding to a printing order at a front position or preview images of the document may be controlled such that the preview images of the document disappear one by one while only a preview image of the document corresponding to a printing order is separated from other preview images.
  • the processor 110 may include an image acquisition processor 112, a synchronization processor 113, a documentation task processor 116, and a graphics processor 117. While FIG. 8 illustrates that the processor 110 includes separate modules for each of particular functions, unlike FIG. 8, some or all of the modules may also be integrated into a single module.
  • the image acquisition processor 112 may scan a document in response to a request to scan the document.
  • the image acquisition processor 112 may include a camera controller and an image capturing module.
  • the image acquisition processor 112 may operate a wide angle camera provided in the electronic device 100 or the user interface device 120 to capture an image of a document in front of the electronic device 100 or the user interface device 120.
  • the wide angle camera may be operated several times to increase an image quality by capturing several images of the document.
  • the image acquisition processor 112 may obtain the scanned document.
  • the processor 110 may include a connection processor 114, a synchronization processor 113, a graphics processor 117, and a document sharing processor 118.   • the electronic device 100 may control the preview image such that the preview image disappears from the screen of the user interface device 120 in accordance with outputting of the document based on the synchronization.
