정보화 시대에는 각종 정보통신기기를 통해 다양하고 유용한 정보를 실시간으로 수집 및 활용하는 고부가가치 산업이 주도하고 있으며, 이러한 시스템의 신뢰성 확보를 위해서는 안정적인 에너지의 공급이 중요한 요소로 인식되고 있다.
안정적인 에너지 확보의 일환으로서, 전기에너지를 화학에너지로 변환하여 저장하였다가 필요시 다시 전기에너지로 변환하여 쓸 수 있는 전기화학 에너지 저장장치(electrochemical energy storage device)가 사용되고 있다.
가장 일반적인 전기화학 에너지 저장장치인 배터리는 비교적 작은 부피와 중량으로 상당히 많은 에너지를 저장할 수 있고, 여러 용도에서 적당한 출력을 내어 줄 수 있기 때문에 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 배터리는 종류에 무관하게 저장특성 및 사이클 수명이 낮은 공통적인 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이는 배터리에 내포되어 있는 화학물질의 자연적인 열화현상 또는 사용에 따른 열화현상 때문이다. 이러한 배터리의 단점은 자연적인 현상이기 때문에 별다른 대안이 제시되지 못하고 있는 실정이다.
한편, 전기이중층 커패시터(electric double-layer capacitor, EDLC)는 화학반응을 이용하는 배터리와는 달리 전극과 전해액 사이에 형성되는 전기 이중층을 이용한 에너지 저장장치이다.
전기이중층 커패시터의 기본구조는 전극(electrode), 전해액(electrolyte), 집전체(current collector), 분리막(separator) 및 집전체와 연결되어 외부로 노출되는 단자로 이루어져 있으며, 단위 셀 전극의 양단에 수 볼트의 전압을 가해 전해액 내의 이온들이 전기장을 따라 이동하여 전극표면에 흡착되는 일련의 전기 화학적 메커니즘을 작동원리로 한다.
한편 집전체는 양극 집전체 및 음극 집전체로 구분되어 있으며, 활물질의 전기화학 반응으로 생성된 전자를 축적하여 단자를 통해 외부 회로로 전달하는 역할을 한다.
여기서 전기이중층 커패시터는 단자의 전위가 집전체의 전위보다 높기 때문에 내부 전해액과 단자가 반응하여 내부 전해액이 누액되는 현상이 발생될 수 있다.

본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장 장치용 집전체는 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 화성 처리하여 외부면에 피막이 형성되고, 상기 피막이 형성된 외부면에 전극 단자가 접합되는 부분을 제외한 나머지 영역에 전극 재료가 도포되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장 장치용 집전체에 있어서, 상기 유기 또는 무기 약산은 붕산, 인산 및 아다핀산 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장 장치용 집전체에 있어서, 상기 용액은 상기 유기 또는 무기 약산에 알칼리 첨가물이 첨가된 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장 장치용 집전체에 있어서, 상기 악칼리 첨가물은 암모니아수, 카세이소다, 붕사, 붕산암모늄, 인산암모늄, 아다핀산암모늄 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장 장치용 집전체의 제조 방법은 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 집전체의 표면에 피막을 형성하는 단계, 상기 피막이 형성된 집전체의 표면을 세척하는 단계, 상기 세척된 피막이 형성된 집전체를 건조하는 단계, 상기 피막이 형성된 집전체의 표면에 전극 단자가 접합되는 부분을 제외한 나머지 영역에 전극 재료를 도포하는 단계를 포함한다.
본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체는 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 화성 처리하여 외부면에 피막을 형성함으로써, 집전체의 전위를 단자의 전위와 대비하여 같거나 높도록 형성하여, 단자의 전위가 집전체의 전위보다 높을 경우 발생되는 전해액의 누액 현상을 억제시킬 수 있다.
또한 본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체는 피막이 형성된 외부면에 전극 단자가 접합되는 부분을 제외한 나머지 영역에 전극 재료를 도포함으로써, 집전체의 단자 접촉 부분에 전극 재료를 도포하는 과정에서 물리적 손상이 가해지는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
또한 본 발명에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체는 전극 단자와 전극 재료를 통해 접촉되지 않고 직접적으로 접촉되도록 함으로써, 에너지 효율을 극대화 시킬 수 있다.

하기의 설명에서는 본 발명의 실시예를 이해하는데 필요한 부분만이 설명되며, 그 이외 부분의 설명은 본 발명의 요지를 흩트리지 않도록 생략될 것이라는 것을 유의하여야 한다.
이하에서 설명되는 본 명세서 및 청구범위에 사용된 용어나 단어는 통상적이거나 사전적인 의미로 한정해서 해석되어서는 아니 되며, 발명자는 그 자신의 발명을 가장 최선의 방법으로 설명하기 위해 용어의 개념으로 적절하게 정의할 수 있다는 원칙에 입각하여 본 발명의 기술적 사상에 부합하는 의미와 개념으로 해석되어야만 한다. 따라서 본 명세서에 기재된 실시예와 도면에 도시된 구성은 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 불과할 뿐이고, 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 모두 대변하는 것은 아니므로, 본 출원시점에 있어서 이들을 대체할 수 있는 다양한 균등물과 변형예들이 있을 수 있음을 이해하여야 한다.
이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 실시예를 보다 상세하게 설명하고자 한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치의 사시도이고, 도 2는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치의 분해사시도이고, 도 3은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체의 단면을 나타낸 도면이다.
도 1 및 도 2를 참조하면, 전기화학 에너지 저장장치(100)는 전극 소자(10), 전극 단자(20), 케이스(50), 러버캡(60) 및 고분자 수지(70)를 포함한다.
전극 소자(10)는 전기화학 에너지를 저장하며, 전기 에너지를 화학 에너지 또는 화학 에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환한다. 전극 소자(10)는 양극(11), 음극(13), 전해액(미도시) 및 분리막(15)을 포함한다.
양극(11) 및 음극(13)은 집전체(90) 및 집전체(90) 양면 또는 일면에 구비된 슬러리로 만들어진 전극재료를 포함한다.
집전체(90)는 전극 소자(10)에서 활물질의 전기화학 반응으로 생성된 전자를 축적하여 외부회로로 전달하는 역할을 한다. 집전체(90)는 폴리카보네이트(polycarbonate, PC), 알루미늄, 니켈, 티타늄, 동, 금, 은, 백금, 코발트 등의 단체, 합금 혹은 화학물이 사용될 수 있고, 도전성 카본, 폴리아닐린, 폴리티오펜, 폴리프리필 등의 도전성 폴리머 등이 사용될 수 있다. 특히, 슬러리로 만들어진 양극 재료(11a) 및 음극 재료(13a)를 포함하는 전극 재료에는 전극 활물질, 도전재 및 바인더가 사용된다.
여기서 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 집전체(90)는 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 화성 처리하여 외부면에 피막(80)을 형성할 수 있다. 바람직하게는 음극 에 구비된 집전체의 외부면에 피막(80)을 형성할 수 있다.
용액에 포함된 유기 또는 무기 약산은 붕산, 인산 및 아다핀산 중 적어도 하나를 포함한다.
여기서 적당량의 알칼리를 첨가하여 중성염의 수용액으로 집전체(90)에 피막(80)을 형성할 경우, 효과적으로 집전체(90)의 전위를 높일 수 있다.
따라서 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 집전체(90)는 유기 또는 무기 약산이 포함된 용액에 알칼리 첨가물을 첨가하여 집전체 표면에 피막(80)을 형성하도록 할 수 있다.
여기서 알칼리 첨가물은 암모니아수, 카세이소다, 붕사, 붕산암모늄, 인산암모늄, 아다핀산암모늄 중 적어도 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
전극 활물질로는 전해액 내 염(salt)의 양이온 또는 음이온이 집전체(90)에 흡착되거나 탈착이 가능한 물질이 사용될 수 있다. 즉, 전극 활물질로 활성탄이 사용될 수 있는데, 활성탄은 높은 전기전도성, 열전도성, 낮은 밀도, 적합한 내부식성, 낮은 열팽창율 그리고 높은 순도를 지닌 다공성 탄소계 물질이 이용될수 있다. 예를 들어, 활성 탄소분말(activated carbon powder, ACP), 탄소나노튜브(carbon nano tube,CNT), 흑연, 기상 성장 탄소섬유(vapor grown carbon fiber, VGCF), 탄소 에어로겔(carbon aerogel), 폴리아크릴로나이트릴(poly acrylonitrile, PAN) 및 폴리비닐리덴플로라이드(polyvinylidenefluoride, PVdF)와 같은 고분자를 탄화하여 제조하는 탄소나노섬유(carbon nano fiber, CNF) 등이 사용될 수 있다.
도전재는 전극에 도전성을 부여하기 위한 물질로서, 카본 블랙(carbon black, CB), 아세틸렌 블랙(acetylene black), 캐첸 블랙(ketjen black), 흑연 또는 슈퍼-피(super-p) 등이 사용될 수 있다.
바인더는 전극 활물질과 도전재의 결합 및 전극 활물질과 집전체(90) 결착을 위한 가교역할을 한다. 바인더로 사용될 수 있는 물질로는 CMC(carboxy methyl cellulose), 폴리비닐피롤리돈(polyvinylpyrrolidone, PVP), 불소계의 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌(poly tetra fluoroethylene, PTFE) 분말이나 에멀젼 및 고무계의 스티렌 부타디엔 러버(styrene butadienerubber,SBR) 등이 사용될 수 있고, 이와 같은 물질이 적어도 하나 이상이 혼합된 형태로 사용될 수 있다.
CMC는 전극 슬러리의 점도를 풀과 비슷한 상태로 유지하면서 집전체(90)와 결착력을 높이는 역할을 한다. CMC는 결착력을 높이지만 전극 슬러리가 캐스팅(casting)된 후에는 전극물질층의 취성(embrittlement)을 증가시킨다. CMC는 집전체와 전극 슬러리의 결착력을 얻기 위해 사용될 수 있다.
폴리비닐피롤리돈은 분산제로 작용하며 전극 슬러리를 이루고 있는 입자들의 분산을 도와주는 역할을 한다. 폴리비닐피롤리돈은 첨가량이 적고 분산에 도움을 줄 수 있는 다른 물질이 있다면 대체 가능하다.
폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌은 전극 슬러리 내부에서 에멀젼 상태로 포진하고 있다가 용융점 이상에서 용융되면 거미줄과 같이 폴리머가 입자들을 감싸 안게 된다. 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌은 입자간의 결합력을 안정적으로 높여줄 수 있다.
고무계의 스티렌 부타디엔 러버는 입자들의 표면을 코팅하여 표면을 보호하는 역할을 한다.
추가적으로, 바인더는 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드, 카르복시메틸셀룰로오즈, 하이드로프로필메틸셀룰로오즈 및 폴리비닐알콜로 등을 더 포함할 수 있다.
여기서 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전극 재료는 피막이 형성된 집전체(90)의 외부면에 전극 단자(30, 40)가 접합되는 부분을 제외한 나머지 영역에 전극 재료가 도포될 수 있다.
즉 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 집전체(90)의 표면에 피막(80)을 형성하고, 피막의 상부에 음극 재료(80)를 도포하되, 음극 단자(40)가 접합되는 부분이 제외되도록 패턴을 형성할 수 있다.
이에 따라 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체(90)는 전극 재료를 도포하는 과정에서 집전체(90)에 물리적 손상이 가해지는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
이에 따라 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체(90)는 전극 단자가 전극 재료를 통해 집전체(90)와 맞닿지 않고 직접적으로 접촉되도록 함으로써, 에너지 효율을 극대화 시킬 수 있다.
전해액은 양극 및 음극에서 발생하는 전하가 원할하게 이동하게 할 수 있으며, 액체 상태의 용매로 양이온과 음이온으로 이루어진 염으로 구성할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 전해액으로는 염산, 황산, 질산, 초산을 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 선택하여 증류수와 혼합하여 사용될 수 있다. 또한, Li2SO4, Na2SO4, K2SO4, (NH4)2SO4, LiOH, NaOH, KOH, NH4OH을 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 선택하여 증류수와 혼합하여 사용될 수 있다.
또한, 전해액으로는 환형 카보네이트, 선형 카보네이트, 락톤, 에테르, 에스테르, 케톤, 및/또는 물을 사용할 수 있다.
환형 카보네이트의 예로는 에틸렌 카보네이트(EC), 프로필렌 카보네이트(PC), 부틸렌 카보네이트(BC) 등이 있고, 선형 카보네이트의 예로는 디에틸 카보네이트(DEC), 디메틸 카보네이트(DMC), 디프로필 카보네이트(DPC), 에틸메틸카보네이트(EMC), 및 메틸 프로필 카보네이트(MPC) 등이 있다. 락톤의 예로는 감마부티로락톤(GBL)이 있으며, 에테르의 예로는 디부틸에테르, 테트라히드로푸란, 2-메틸테트라히드로푸란, 1,4-디옥산, 1,2-디메톡시에탄 등이 있다. 또한 에스테르의 예로는 메틸 아세테이트, 에틸 아세테이트, 메틸 프로피오네이트, 메틸 피발레이트 등이 있으며, 케톤으로는 폴리메틸비닐 케톤이 있으나, 이에 한정하지 않는다. 이와 같은 용매는 단독으로 또는 2종 이상을 혼합하여 사용할 수 있다.
이 뿐만 아니라, 전해액으로 Li+, Na+, K+와 같은 알칼리 금속 양이온이나 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 이온을 포함하고, PF6

-, N(CF3SO2)2
-, C(CF2SO2)3
-와 같은 음이온이나 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 이온을 포함하는 염인 프로필렌 카보네이트(PC), 에틸렌 카보네이트(EC), 디에틸카보네이트(DEC), 디메틸카보네이트(DMC), 디프로필카보네이트(DPC), 디메틸설폭사이드, 아세토니트릴(AN), 디메톡시에탄, 디에톡시에탄, 테트라하이드로퓨란, N-메틸-2-피롤리돈(NMP), 에틸메틸카보네이트(EMC), 감마 부티로락톤 또는 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 유기 용매를 사용할 수 있고, 이와 같은 유기 용매에 TEABF4(tetraethylammonium tetrafluorborate), TEMABF4(triethylmethylammonium tetrafluorborate), LiCl04(lithium perchlorate), LiPF6(lithium hexafluorophosphate), LiAsF6(lithium hexafluoroarsenate), LiBF4(lithium tetraflouroborate)으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 단독으로 또는 2종 이상의 염을 혼합하여 사용할 수 있다.
이와 같은 전해액은 분리막(15)에 함침 또는 코팅되도록 사용될 수 있다.
분리막(15)은 양극(11)과 음극(13) 사이에 위치하여 이들을 전기적으로 절연시켜주는 역할을 한다. 분리막(15)은 특정 형태로 한정되는 것은 아니지만, 다공성 분리막을 사용하는 것이 바람직하며, 일 예로서 펄프계, 폴리프로필렌계, 폴리에틸렌계, 또는 폴리올레핀계 다공성 분리막 등이 이용될 수 있다.
전극 소자(10)는 양극(11), 음극(13), 양극(11)과 음극(13) 사이 또는 양극(11)과 음극(13) 양면에 분리막(15)을 적층하고, 권취하여 형성이 된다. 즉, 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따른 전극 소자(10)는 권취되어 원통형으로 형성될 수 있다.
전극 소자(10)는 전극 소자(10) 상부에 각각 돌출 형성된 한 쌍의 전극 단자(20)를 포함한다. 한 쌍의 전극 단자(20)는 제1 전극 단자(30) 및 제2 전극단자(40)로 구분할 수 있으며, 각각 양극(11) 및 음극(12)과 연결되어, 전극 소자(10)를 외부전력과 연결해주는 역할을 한다.
제1 전극 단자(30)는 양극(11)과 접속하는 제1 접속부(31), 제1 접속부(31)와 연결된 제1 환봉부(33)로 이루어지는 제1 전극탭(35) 및 제1 환봉부(33)에 용접된 제1 외부 접속부(37)를 포함한다. 제2 전극 단자(40)는 음극(13)과 접속하는 제2 접속부(41), 제2 접속부(41)와 연결된 제2 환봉부(43)로 이루지는 제2 전극탭(45) 및 제2 환봉부(43)에 용접된 제2 외부 접속부(47)를 포함한다.
이 때, 제1 전극 단자(30) 및 제2 전극 단자(40)는 알루미늄 스틸 또는 스테인레스 스틸 중 하나의 재질로 사용될 수 있으며, 표면은 니켈 또는 주석에 의해 코팅될 수 있다.
케이스(50)는 상부에 개방부가 형성되고, 개방부를 통하여 전극 소자(10)가 내장된다. 케이스(50) 내부에는 전극 소자(10) 뿐만 아니라 전극 소자(10)에서 발생되는 가스 등도 함께 존재하게 되므로, 케이스(50)의 소재로는 가벼우면서도 가스 등에 의한 부식의 영향이 적은 알루미늄 또는 알루미늄 합금이 사용될 수 있다.
케이스(50)는 후술되는 러버캡(60)과 접하는 측면이 외부의 압력에 의해 눌려 오목하게 형성되는 고정부(51)를 포함한다. 고정부(51)는 러버캡(60)이 케이스(50)의 개방부를 통해 삽입된 후, 외부의 압력에 의해 안쪽 방향으로 오목하게 변형되는 부분이며, 이를 통해 케이스(50)와 러버캡(60)을 밀착시켜 1차 밀봉을 한다. 또한 케이스(50)는 러버캡(60)이 삽입된 후, 케이스 끝단(53)을 갈고리 형상으로 변형을 하며, 이 때 갈고리 형상은 러버캡(60)과 이격되게 형성될 수 있다.
케이스(5)는 원통형으로 형성될 수 있으며, 이 때, 최대지름(Φ1)이 18.1mm±0.1이고, 고정부(51)가 형성된 부분의 지름(Φ2)이 16.3mm±0.1이며, 높이(H1)는 40.7mm±0.05이고, 고정부(51)에서 케이스의 상부까지의 높이(H2)는 3.8mm±0.1이다.
하지만 케이스(50)는 원통형으로 한정되지 않고, 전극 소자(10)의 형상에 대응하는 형상으로 이루어질 수 있다. 달리 말하면, 전극 소자(10)가 원통형일 경우 케이스(50)도 원통형이 되며, 전극 소자(10)가 다각형 형상일 경우 케이스(50)도 다각형 형상일 수 있다. 하지만, 본 발명의 기술적 사상은 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 전극 소자(10)가 원통형일 때, 케이스(50)가 다각형 형상일 수 있고, 전극 소자(10)가 다각형 형상일 때, 케이스(20)가 원통형일 수 있다.
러버캡(60)은 개방부 상부에 내측에 결합하여 케이스(20)를 밀봉한다. 즉, 러버캡(60)은 케이스(20)의 내부가 밀봉된 상태로 만들어, 전극 소자(10)의 내부와 외부를 차단시킬 수 있다.
러버캡(60)은 탄성이 있는 고무 소재가 사용될 수 있다. 예컨대, 고무 소재로는 에틸렌프로필렌 공중합체(EPT), 에틸렌프로필렌디엔 공중합체(EPDM) 등의 올레핀계 합성 고무, 실리콘계 고무, 불소계 고무, 부틸계 고무 등이 사용될 수 있다.
러버캡(60)에는 제1 관통구(61) 및 제2 관통구(63)가 형성되어 각각 제1 전극 단자(30) 및 제2 전극 단자(40)와 끼움 결합을 할 수 있다. 즉, 러버캡(60)은 제1 관통구(61) 및 제2 관통구(63)를 통해 전극 소자(10)의 상부에 이격되어 설치될 수 있다. 따라서, 러버캡(60)과 전극 소자(10) 사이에 0.4mm 내지 10mm의 이격거리를 두고 설치될 수 있다. 이를 통해, 러버캡(60)은 표면에 이물질의 발생을 억제시킬 수 있다.
즉, 전기화학 에너지 저장장치(100)는 러버캡(60)과 전극 소자(10) 사이에 이격거리를 두고 설치함으로서, 장시간 사용하여도 이물질이 발생하지 않아 수명이 증가될 수 있다.
전술된 바와 같이, 전기화학 에너지 저장장치(100)는 러버캡(60)과 전극 소자(10) 사이에 0.4mm 내지 10mm의 이격거리를 두고 설치하며, 만일 이격거리가 0.4mm 보다 짧아지면, 전기화학 에너지 저장장치(100)를 장시간 사용시 러버캡(60)의 표면에 이물질이 생성되거나 수명이 빨리 단축되고, 이격거리가 10mm보다 멀어지면, 전기화학 에너지 저장장치(100)의 에너지밀도가 낮아지게 된다.
고분자 수지(70)는 러버캡(60) 상부면에 개방부 끝단(53)이 잠기도록 형성된다. 따라서, 고분자 수지(70)는 케이스(50)를 2차 밀봉을 함으로써, 전해액이 외부로 누출되는 누액 현상을 방지할 수 있다. 특히, 고분자 수지(70)는 개방부 끝단(53)이 덮어지도록 형성하여 케이스 끝단(53)에 대한 마감처리도 동시에 할 수 있다.
고분자 수지(70)는 기계적 성질 및 내열성이 우수한 고분자 수지로 이루어진 것일 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 에폭시 수지로 이루어질 수 있다.
에폭시 수지는 분자 내에 에폭시기를 갖는 수지상 물질 및 에폭시기의 중합에 의해서 생긴 열경화성 수지로서, 굽힘강도 및 굳기 등 기계적 성질이 우수하고, 경화 시에 휘발성 물질의 발생 및 부피의 수축이 없고, 경화할 때는 재료면에 큰 접착력을 가지는 특징을 지닌다.
특히, 고분자 수지(70)는 비스페놀 A형 에폭시 수지, 비스페놀 F형 에폭시 수지, 페놀 노볼락형 에폭시 수지, 크레졸 노볼락형 에폭시 수지, 하이드로제네이티드 비스페놀 A형 에폭시 수지, 브로민에이티드 에폭시 수지, BPA-노볼락형 에폭시 수지, 시클로알리파틱형 에폭시 수지 또는 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 군 중 적어도 어느 하나 이상을 포함할 수 있다.
이하 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체의 제조 방법에 대하여 설명하도록 한다.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체의 제조 방법을 나타낸 순서도이다.
도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 집전체의 제조 방법은 먼저 S10 단계에서 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 집전체의 표면에 피막을 형성할 수 있다.
용액에 포함된 유기 또는 무기 약산은 붕산, 인산 및 아다핀산 중 적어도 하나를 포함한다.
여기서 적당량의 알칼리를 첨가하여 중성염의 수용액으로 양극 집전체 및 음극 집전체에 피막을 형성할 경우, 효과적으로 집전체의 전위를 높일 수 있다.
따라서 유기 또는 무기 약산이 포함된 용액에 알칼리 첨가물을 첨가하여 집전체 표면에 피막을 형성하도록 할 수 있다.
여기서 알칼리 첨가물은 암모니아수, 카세이소다, 붕사, 붕산암모늄, 인산암모늄, 아다핀산암모늄 중 적어도 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
다음으로 S20 단계에서 피막이 형성된 집전체의 표면을 세척할 수 있다.
그리고 S30 단계에서 세척된 피막이 형성된 집전체를 건조하여 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체를 제조할 수 있다.
여기서 S30 단계 이후에, 피막이 형성된 집전체의 표면에 전극 단자가 접합되는 부분을 제외한 나머지 영역에 전극 재료를 도포한다. 집전체의 표면에 피막을 형성하고, 피막의 상부에 전극 재료를 도포하되, 전극 단자가 접합되는 부분이 제외되도록 패턴을 형성할 수 있다.
이와 같이, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체는 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 화성 처리하여 외부면에 피막을 형성함으로써, 집전체의 전위를 단자의 전위와 대비하여 같거나 높도록 형성하여, 단자의 전위가 집전체의 전위보다 높을 경우 발생되는 전해액의 누액 현상을 억제시킬 수 있다.
한편, 본 도면에 개시된 실시예는 이해를 돕기 위해 특정 예를 제시한 것에 지나지 않으며, 본 발명의 범위를 한정하고자 하는 것은 아니다. 여기에 개시된 실시예 이외에도 본 발명의 기술적 사상에 바탕을 둔 다른 변형예들이 실시 가능하다는 것은, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게는 자명한 것이다.

- 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 화성 처리하여 외부면에 피막이 형성되고, 상기 피막이 형성된 외부면에 전극 단자가 접합되는 부분을 제외한 나머지 영역에 전극 재료가 도포되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유기 또는 무기 약산은 붕산, 인산 및 아다핀산 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 용액은 상기 유기 또는 무기 약산에 알칼리 첨가물이 첨가된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 악칼리 첨가물은 암모니아수, 카세이소다, 붕사, 붕산암모늄, 인산암모늄, 아다핀산암모늄 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학 에너지 저장장치용 집전체.
- 유기 또는 무기 약산을 포함하는 용액을 통해 집전체의 표면에 피막을 형성하는 단계;상기 피막이 형성된 집전체의 표면을 세척하는 단계;상기 세척된 피막이 형성된 집전체를 건조하는 단계;상기 피막이 형성된 집전체의 표면에 전극 단자가 접합되는 부분을 제외한 나머지 영역에 전극 재료를 도포하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화확 에너지 저장장치용 집전체의 제조 방법.
