Staphylococcus aureus , Staphylococcus epidermidis , E. coli O157: H7 , and fungoides ( Pseudomonas aeruginosa ), which are commonly detected in the skin, , Acne bacteria ( Propionibacterium acnes ) were used. All five species were distributed at the Korea Biotechnology Research Center. Table 1 shows the details of the strain number, culture medium, culture temperature and incubation time for each strain.

대조군으로는 MRS 액체배지를 동결건조하여 분말화한 후 0.5 g/mL 농도로 멸균된 증류수를 첨가하여 제조한 물질을 사용하였다. 시험군으로는 락토바실러스 플란타룸 CJLP133 배양물을 멸균된 증류수에 0.1g/mL, 0.5g/mL, 2.5g/mL의 농도로 각각 첨가하여 제조한 물질을 사용하였다. 각각의 피부 유해균 균주를 배지(TSA; BD Difco, Tryptic Soy Agar, RCM; BD Difco Reinforced Clostridial Medium)에 1.0 * 106 CFU/mL로 도말하였다. 각 균주가 도말된 플레이트(plate)에 멸균한 원형여과지(paper disc, ADVANTEC, 8mm)를 올리고, 시험물질 및 대조물질을 50μL씩 가하였다. 각 균주의 배양조건에 맞게 배양한 후(표 1), 디스크(disc) 주위의 억제환(clear zone, 지시균 사멸지역)의 직경을 측정하였다. 이 환이 크면 클수록 항균 활성이 높음을 나타내며, 항균 활성이 없으면 억제환이 생성되지 않는다. 실험결과, 대조군에서는 억제환이 생성되지 않았고 락토바실러스 플란타룸 CJLP133 배양물을 사용한 시험군에서는 균주 5종 모두에서 억제환이 형성되어, 락토바실러스 플란타룸 CJLP133 배양물이 피부 유해균에 대하여 항균 활성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 락토바실러스 플란타룸 CJLP133 배양물의 농도가 증가할수록 억제환의 크기가 증가하여 농도 의존적으로 항균 활성의 증가를 확인할 수 있었다. 실험결과는 표 2 및 도 1에 나타내었다.As a result, no inhibitory ring was produced in the control group, and in the test group using the Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP133 culture, inhibitory rings were formed in all five strains, and the lactobacillus plantarum CJLP133 culture had antimicrobial activity against skin harmful bacteria .
