A game image transmitted from the content distribution server 111 according to the first embodiment of the present disclosure to the player terminal 121 and the viewer terminals 131a and 131b and displayed will be described with reference to FIGS. The player terminal 121 and the viewer terminals 131a and 131b are smartphones.
In FIG. 2, the smartphone display screen 201 displays a game character 211 operable by the player, a tank 212 as a display icon, and a flower 213. When the game character moves, the game character does not move in the display area of the smartphone display screen 201, and the display background of the tank 212, the flower 213, or the like moves to express the movement of the game character. However, the game character itself may move.
FIG. 3 is a game image displayed when the player requests the viewer's opinion on the progress of the game and wishes to encourage participation. A grid-like option frame 202 is displayed around the game character 211. The option frames are arranged in eight directions, and numbers 1 to 8 are displayed on each frame. Further, at the lower part of the game image, a display time 203 indicating a selectable time limit of options is arranged. The game image is transmitted from the content distribution server 111 to the viewer terminals 131a and 131b, and the viewer of each viewer terminal taps the option frame in the direction in which the user wants to move the game character 211.
In FIG. 4, the percentage at which each choice frame is selected is displayed superimposed on the game image after the time limit is over. Up to this point, in the content distribution system 1, the viewer terminals are described as being represented by two viewer terminals 131a and 131b for convenience, but more viewer terminals can be used. Therefore, based on the selection information from a plurality of viewer terminals, the tabulated results of the number (selection result) in which each option frame is selected are displayed in proportion. In FIG. 4, the option frame of “8” is selected at a rate of 24.4%. Therefore, the game character 211 moves in the direction of the option frame of “8”. That is, the control unit 113 determines the moving direction of the game character 211 by majority. By performing control to move the background in the reverse direction of the option frame “8”, the control unit 113 can show the player and the viewer that the game character 211 is moving in the direction of “8”.
In FIG. 5, the smartphone display screen 201 displays a game character 211 operable by the player, an obstacle 214, and a wall 215. The game character 211 can not move in the direction in which the obstacle 214 or the wall 215 is present.
FIG. 6 is a game image displayed when the player asks the viewer's opinion on the progress of the game and wishes to encourage participation. A grid-like option frame 202 is displayed around the game character 211. Since the obstacle 214 is in the upper right frame and the upper left frame and the wall 215 in the left frame of the game character 211, the game character 211 can not move in those directions (the movement is not made. Possible). Therefore, the options of the moving direction of the game character 211 are assigned to the other operable frames with numbers 1 to 5.
In FIG. 7, after the time limit is over, the rate at which each of the option frames 1 to 5 is selected is displayed superimposed on the game image. In FIG. 7, the option frame of "4" is selected at a rate of 39.6%. Therefore, the game character 211 moves in the direction of the option frame of “4”. By performing control to move the background in the reverse direction of the option frame “4”, the control unit 113 can show the player and the viewer as if the game character 211 is moving in the direction of “4”.

As a result, the viewer can view the game content being played on the player terminal 121 in real time on each of the viewer terminals 131a and 131b.
Next, the player asks for the opinion of the viewer about the progress of the game, and explains the operation when he / she wishes to encourage participation. In step S108, the player transmits an option request signal from the player terminal 121 to the content distribution server 111.
In step S109, the control unit 113 determines the progressing state of the game, and determines the direction in which the game character can move as the option display area.
In step S110, the control unit 113 superimposes and displays an option indicating the moving direction of the game character on the game screen based on the option display area determined in step S109 (corresponding to FIGS. 3 and 6). The communication unit 112 transmits the game screen on which the option is superimposed to the player terminal 121 and the viewer terminals 131a and 131b.
In step S111, the viewer A selects an option on the viewer terminal 131a. The viewer terminal 131a transmits the selected option to the content distribution server 111. Similarly, in step S112, the viewer B selects an option on the viewer terminal 131b. The viewer terminal 131 b transmits the selected option to the content distribution server 111.
In step S113, the control unit 113 counts the options transmitted from the viewer terminals 131a and 131b. The control unit 113 calculates, for each option, a ratio indicating how many viewers have made a selection as an aggregation result. The control unit 113 determines the moving direction of the game character from the counting result. Further, the control unit 113 superimposes and displays the counting result on the game screen (corresponding to FIGS. 4 and 7). The communication unit 112 transmits the game screen on which the counting result is superimposed to the player terminal 121 and the viewer terminals 131a and 131b.
In step S114, the player terminal 121 superimposes and displays the counting result transmitted in step S113 on the game screen. Further, in step S115, the viewer terminal 131a superimposes and displays the counting result transmitted in step S113 on the game screen. Furthermore, in step S116, the viewer terminal 131b superimposes and displays the counting result transmitted in step S113 on the game screen. The tabulated results may be updated and displayed in real time each time the selected option is transmitted from the viewer terminals 131a and 131b to the content distribution server 111 in steps S111 and S112. The viewer can refer to the choice by looking at the updated result.
In step S117, the control unit 113 performs control to move the game character in the direction determined in step S113. In the movement of the game character, the position of the game character itself is fixed, and relative movement may be expressed by movement of the background.
In step S118, the content distribution server 111 loops with the step S102 until the player finishes playing the game on the player terminal 121. The operations of the player terminal 121 and the viewer terminals 131a and 131b also continue while the content distribution server 111 performs the loop.
<Description of effect>
As described above, according to the content distribution system 1 according to the first embodiment of the present disclosure, an option indicating the moving direction is superimposed and displayed on the game character 211 displayed in the game screen. Opinions about the direction of movement can be sought. The viewer can intuitively recognize the moving direction of the game character 211 and select an option of the moving direction.
In the above description, the moving direction of the game character 211 is determined by the majority of the options selected by the viewer, but the determination may be performed by another method. It does not matter if the decision is made in the direction of fewer options, that is, by minority decision. In addition, within the time limit, the decision may be made in the direction of the option selected earliest, or the priority for deciding the weight of the option selected earlier may be increased. Conversely, within the time limit, the decision may be made in the direction of the slowest selected option, or the weighting of the late selected option may be weighted and the priority may be increased to make the decision. . By doing this, the viewer becomes aware of other viewers, and it is possible to enhance participation in the game content and to enliven the game content.
Furthermore, when the viewer is a paid member (payable service subscriber) of the content distribution system 1, the option selected by the free member may be determined by giving priority to the option selected by the paid member. Also, it is possible to randomly make a decision from among the transmitted options.
Further, the options displayed around the game character 211 are not limited to eight directions, and may be more or less. Further, the directions indicated by the options do not have to be uniform. For example, the options may be arbitrarily assigned, for example, five in the right direction and two in the left direction.
When the object is not a game character 211 but a piece constituting a sliding block puzzle, the control unit 113 first determines a movable piece. The control unit 113 may transmit movable pieces to the viewer terminals 131a and 131b as options, and each viewer may select a piece of options.
Also, the time limit may be set by the player as desired.
Second Embodiment
Description will be given of a content distribution system 1 according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure, which displays options on a screen of a personal computer which is a viewer terminal and performs an operation with an object based on a selected result. The second embodiment will be described using the content distribution system 1 according to the first embodiment.
<Game image>
A game image transmitted and displayed from the content distribution server 111 to the player terminal 121 and the viewer terminals 131a and 131b according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to FIGS. 9 to 11. The player terminal 121 and the viewer terminals 131a and 131b are personal computers.
In FIG. 9, on the display display screen 301 of the personal computer, the game character 311 which can be operated by the player and the game character 311 can stand, the ground 312, 313, and the earth pipe 314 and the tunnel 315 as structures are displayed. FIG. 10 is a game image displayed when the player requests the viewer's opinion on the progress of the game and wishes to encourage participation. A grid-like option frame 302 is displayed around the game character 311. The option frames are arranged in eight directions. In the option frame, an arrow mark indicating the moving direction is displayed in the direction in which the game character 311 can move. Because the game character 311 stands on the ground 313, it can not move in the direction of the ground 313, that is, downward. Therefore, arrow marks are not displayed in the lower three frames of the option frame. Further, at the upper part of the game image, a display time 303 indicating a selectable time limit of the option is arranged. The game image is transmitted from the content distribution server 111 to the viewer terminals 131a and 131b, and the viewer of each viewer terminal can click the option frame in the direction in which the user wishes to move the game character 311. .
FIG. 11 shows a state in which the game content has advanced and the game character 311 has moved to the right end of the game screen. The lower left of the game character 311 has a hole between the ground 312 and the ground 313, so the game character 311 can move in that direction. Therefore, the control unit 113 displays an arrow mark in the lower left direction in the lower left frame of the option frame. The viewer of each viewer terminal can click the option frame in the direction in which the user wants to move the game character 311. In addition, when the movement to the right is selected among the options and the game character 311 moves to the right, the game screen may be scrolled to the right and displayed.
