본 발명은 자석을 포함하는 마그네틱 마스카라에 관한 것이다.　더 상세하게는 마스카라 솔대에 자석이 내장되어 동양인의 짧은 속눈썹에도 탁월한 컬링, 롱래쉬 및 볼륨 효과를 갖는 새로운 마그네틱 마스카라 및 그 제조 기술을 제공한다.
마스카라는 속눈썹 화장에 이용되는 도구이다. 속눈썹 화장은 마스카라 용액을 바른 브러쉬모를 사용하여 속눈썹을 말아 올리는 방법으로 진행된다.

본 발명은 마스카라 솔대에 자석이 내장되면서도 동시에 동양인의 짧은 속눈썹에 적합하고, 탁월한 컬링, 롱래쉬 및 볼륨 효과를 갖는 새로운 마그네틱 마스카라 및 그 제조 기술을 제공한다.
본 발명의 일 관점은 손잡이로 이용되는 뚜껑; 상기 뚜껑의 내측 중심부로부터 연장되는 솔대; 및 마스카라 용액을 담는 내부 공간을 포함하는 용기를 포함하는 마스카라에 있어서, 상기 솔대의 자유단은 브러쉬모가 없는 마스카라 도포헤드를 포함하고, 상기 도포헤드의 내부 공간은 자석을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스카라에 관한 것이다.
자석 및 도포헤드를 포함하는 솔대
본 발명자들은 일반적인 마스카라의 모습과 같이 마스카라 도포헤드에 브러쉬모가 형성된 경우, 헤드 내부에 자석이 포함되어 있다고 하더라도 브러쉬모로 인한 자력 손실이 많고, 따라서 마스카라 용액에 작용할 수 있을 만큼 충분하고 지속적인 자력 공급이 불가능하다는 사실에 주목하였다. 그리하여, 브러쉬모가 없는 마스카라 도포헤드를 제작하고, 이를 이용하는 경우 안정적이고 균일한 자력 에너지가 지속적으로 공급될 수 있음을 확인하였다.
본 발명의 마스카라 도포헤드는 브러쉬모가 없기 때문에 솔대를 세척하여 사용할 수 있고, 따라서 하나의 마그네틱 내장 솔대를 이용하여 다양한 컬러의 마스카라 용액을 속눈썹에 적용할 수 있다. 세척 수단은 물, 헝겊, 티슈, 물티슈, 클렌징티슈, 클렌징 용액, 알코올 등을 포함하나 이에 제한되지 아니한다.
본 발명의 마스카라 도포헤드의 내부 공간에는 자석, 바람직하게는 막대형 영구 자석을 내장시킬 수 있다. 이로 인해 도포헤드가 마스카라 용액에 함유된 산화철(FeO)과 반응하여 자기장에 의해 속눈썹에 컬링 효과, 롱래쉬 효과 및 볼륨감 증대 효과를 제공할 수 있다.
상기 도포헤드에 내장되는 자석은 소결 및 주조자석, 반경질자석, AlNiCo-9, AlNiCo-5 등과 같은 알니코(AlNiCo) 자석; 산화물자석, 소결자석, Ba-Ferrite, Sr-Ferrtie 등과 같은 페라이트 자석; 소결자석, Sm-Co, Nd-Fe-B, Yt-Co 등과 같은 희토류 자석; 수지자석 또는 고무 성형 자석 등과 같은 고무 자석; 및 사출 성형 자석과 같은 플라스틱 자석 등을 포함하지만 반드시 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다.
또한, 상기 자석은 일 방향으로 강하게 자화된 이방성 자석 또는 여러 방향으로 자화된 등방성 자석일 수 있다. 본 발명에 사용되는 자석이 이방성 자석인 경우, 자석의 양극은 솔대의 상하 또는 좌우 방향으로 형성될 수도 있지만, 자석의 양극이 솔대의 상하로 형성되는 경우 마스카라 도포헤드 끝부분에만 집중적으로 자력이 공급되기 때문에, 자석의 양극이 솔대의 좌우 방향으로 형성되는 자석을 사용하는 것이 더 바람직하다.
일 구현예에서, 본 발명의 마스카라 도포헤드에 내장되는 자석의 직경은 2 내지 3 mm일 수 있다.
자력의 손실을 최소화하기 위하여 브러쉬모를 제거한 도포헤드를 사용한다고 하더라도 안정적이고 균일한 자력 에너지 확보를 위해서는 일정 굵기 이상의 막대 자석이 요구되며, 이 경우 도포헤드가 굵어져서 동양인의 짧은 속눈썹에는 적당하지 않은 문제가 있다. 한편, 강한 자력을 갖는 희토류 자석을 내장하는 경우 도포헤드의 직경을 감소시킬 수 있지만, 희토류 자석의 높은 가격으로 인하여 제품의 단가가 높아지는 문제가 있다.
이에 본 발명자들은 마스카라 도포헤드가 헤드 몸체 및 상기 헤드 몸체보다 작은 직경을 갖는 헤드 말단을 포함하고, 헤드 몸체 내부 공간은 자석을 포함하지만 헤드 말단은 자석을 포함하지 않도록 솔대를 제조하여 상기 문제를 해결하였다. 이때 헤드 말단은 비록 자석을 포함하지 않지만, 헤드 몸체에 내장된 자석으로부터 유래한 자성이 헤드 말단에까지 간접적으로 발현될 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 구현예에서, 상기 헤드 몸체는 원통형이고, 상기 헤드 말단은 점점 가늘어지는 원뿔형의 팁이거나 또는 헤드 몸체보다 작은 직경을 갖는 원통형의 팁일 수 있다.
상기 헤드 몸체 및 말단을 포함하는 마스카라 도포헤드는 금속 재질, 바람직하게는 스테인레스 스틸 또는 SUS(Steel Use Stainless) 재질, 더 바람직하게는 자화 유지력이 있는 페라이트계 스테인리스 스틸일 수 있고, 또는 자성 또는 자화성 파우더를 포함하는 수지 재질로 형성된 것일 수도 있다.
상기 수지 재질로는 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리비닐클로라이드, 아크릴로니트릴-부타디엔-스티렌 코폴리머(ABS), 나일론6, 나일론66, 폴리에틸렌섬유, 폴리프로필렌섬유, 폴리테트라플루오르에틸렌, 폴리클로로트리플루오로에틸렌, 테트라플루오르에틸렌, 폴리불화비닐리덴, 초산비닐, 아크릴아마이드, 메타크릴산에스테르, 아크릴산에스테르와 같은 합성수지 재질; 또는 천연고무, 스티렌-부타디엔 고무(SBR), 아크릴로니트릴-부타디엔 고무(NBR), 폴리부타디엔 고무(BR), 폴리클로로프렌 고무(CR), 에틸렌-프로필렌 고무(EPR), 에틸렌-프로필렌-디엔 고무(EPDM), 티오콜, 클로로부틸 고무(CIIR), 이소부틸-이소프렌 고무(IIR), 에틸렌비닐아세테이트(EVA), 실리콘 고무 등과 같은 고무재질을 사용할 수 있으나 반드시 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다.
본 발명의 마스카라 도포헤드에는 홈이 형성되어 있을 수 있으며, 상기 홈의 모양은 사각형 또는 삼각형일 수 있고, 특히 홈의 모양이 삼각형인 경우에 마스카라 용액이 뭉침없이 더욱 섬세하게 속눈썹에 적용될 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 구현예에서, 상기 도포헤드 몸체의 직경은 5 내지 6 mm일 수 있고, 도포헤드에 형성되어 있는 상기 홈의 깊이는 0.2 내지 0.5 mm이며, 홈의 간격은 0.5 내지 0.75 mm일 수 있다.
패킹
본 발명의 바람직한 구현예에서, 마스카라 용액을 담는 내부 공간의 상단 입구에는 패킹이 포함되어 있는데, 상기 패킹은 조리개(aperture) 형태를 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다.
마스카라 용기에서 패킹은 솔대 및 브러쉬에 과하게 묻은 마스카라 용액을 닦아 내고 소량의 용액만을 섬세하게 속눈썹에 적용할 수 있게 하기 위하여 솔대를 긁어주는 부품을 일컫는다.
본 발명의 마스카라 용기에서, 상기 패킹은 탄성을 지닌 소재, 예를 들어 실리콘 패킹일 수 있는데 솔대 끝까지 훑어 주기 위하여 탄성을 지닌 소재로 제조되는 것이 바람직하다.
일반적인 패킹은 솔대가 내부 용기에 들어가고 나가는 방식에 의해서 영향을 받지 않게 하기 위하여 원형의 모양을 갖는다. 그러나, 솔대보다 도포헤드의 굵기가 더 가느다란 경우에는, 원형의 모양을 갖는 일반적인 마스카라 패킹으로는 도포헤드를 충분히 긁어줄 수가 없는 문제가 있다.
그리하여, 솔대보다 직경이 가는 도포헤드를 구비한 마스카라의 경우, 도포헤드를 솔대 안으로 움직일 수 있는 액추에이터를 구비하고 도포헤드가 들어가는 솔대 말단 입구에 추가의 패킹을 구비하여, 액추에이터를 작동시키어 솔대 내부로 도포헤드가 후퇴할 때 도포헤드를 다시 한번 긁어주는 복잡한 구조를 채택하기도 한다. 그러나 이 경우, 마스카라 잔여 용액이 솔대 내부에 끼고 굳는 문제가 발생하고, 청소가 어려워 비위생적이며, 구조가 복잡하여 생산 단가를 높이고 액추에이터에 고장이 발생하는 등의 문제가 발생한다.
본 발명자들은 마스카라 용액을 담는 내부 공간의 상단 입구에 설치된 패킹을 조리개(aperture) 형태로 구성함으로써 상기 문제를 해결해내었다.
조리개 형태란 외력이 없을 때는 중앙에 위치한 점으로 수렴하여 닫힌 모양을 취하다가 외력이 가해지는 경우 카메라 렌즈와 같이 중앙으로부터 사방으로 점차 열리는 형태를 의미한다. 본 발명의 마스카라에서 패킹이 가질 수 있는 조리개 형태의 예시를 도 4에 도시하였다.
이와 같이 패킹이 조리개 모양을 가지는 경우, 솔대나 헤드의 모양에 구애받지 않으며, 솔대가 내부 용기에 들어가고 나가는 방식에 의해서도 영향을 받지 않는다. 또한 솔대 및 도포헤드의 굵기에도 영향을 받지 않기 때문에, 2이상의 직경을 포함하여 섬세하게 눈썹을 다듬을 수 있는 마스카라 도포헤드를 제공할 수 있다.
일 구현예에서, 본 발명의 마스카라가 일정 굵기를 갖는 솔대, 솔대보다 가는 도포헤드 몸체, 도포헤드 몸체보다 더 가느다란 도포헤드 말단을 구비하는 경우에도, 용기의 상단 입구에 조리개 형태의 패킹을 구비하는 경우, 굵기에 관계없이 솔대, 헤드 몸체 및 헤드 말단 모두가 충분하게 긁혀지고 닦일 수 있다.
마스카라 용액
본 발명의 마그네틱 마스카라 용기에 담지되는 마스카라 용액은 산화철 성분을 포함할 수 있다. 이 경우 자석을 내장한 도포헤드로 속눈썹을 빗질하면서 마스카라 용액을 묻힐 때, 도포헤드의 자성으로 인해 산화철 성분이 정렬되며 속눈썹 연장 효과를 가질 수 있다.
바람직한 구현예에서, 본 발명의 마그네틱 마스카라 용기에 담지되는 마스카라 용액은 산화철 성분과 함께, 속눈썹을 당기는 식물성 왁스 성분을 포함할 수 있다.
일반 마스카라 용액에서 식물성 왁스는 동물성, 광물성 또는 합성 왁스와 그 기능에 특별한 차별점이 없으며, 균등물로 당업계에 알려져 있었다. 그러나, 본 발명자들은 왁싱 젤 성분에 포함되는 제모 기능이 있는 식물성 왁스 성분이 속눈썹을 당기는 역할을 하며, 따라서 이들이 마그네틱 마스카라와 만났을 때, 자력에 의하여 산화철을 포함하는 용액이 당겨진 눈썹 상에 정렬되는 것을 도우며, 그 결과 현저하게 향상된 컬링 및 롱래쉬 효과를 달성할 수 있음을 밝혀내었다.
상기 속눈썹을 당기는 식물성 왁스 성분은 바람직하게는 카나우바 왁스, 살겨왁스 및 검양옻나무열매왁스로 이루어진 것일 수 있다.
일반적으로 마스카라에 포함되는 식물성 왁스로는　카나우바　왁스, 칸데릴라납, 슈거왁스, 해바라기씨 왁스 및 목납 등이 있으나, 칸데릴라납, 슈거왁스, 해바라기씨 왁스 및 목납과 같은 다른 일반적인 식물성 왁스는 속눈썹을 당기는 기능이 없기 때문에, 이들을 사용해서는 자력 및 산화철의 작용에 의한 현저한 컬링 및 롱래쉬 효과를 달성할 수가 없다.
바람직한 구현예에서, 상기 속눈썹을 당기는 식물성 왁스 성분은 마스카라 용액에 다량으로 포함되는데 예컨대 적어도 1 %(v/v), 적어도 2 %(v/v), 적어도 3 %(v/v), 적어도 4 %(v/v), 적어도 5 %(v/v), 적어도 6 %(v/v), 적어도 7 %(v/v), 적어도 8 %(v/v), 적어도 9 %(v/v), 또는 적어도 10 %(v/v)의 함량으로 포함될 수 있다.
본 발명에서는 전술한 성분 이외에도, 동물성, 광물성 또는 합성 왁스 성분, 유화제, 점증제, 필름 형성제, 색소, 증류수, 보습제 및 방부제 등으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 성분을 추가로 포함할 수 있다.
동물성왁스로는 밀납 및 라놀린 왁스 등을 사용할 수 있으며, 광물성왁스로는 파라핀, 세레신, 마이크로크리스탈린 납 및 오조케라이트 등을 사용할 수 있고, 또한, 합성왁스로는 폴리에틸렌왁스 및 피셔-트롭시 합성법을 통해 만들어진 왁스 등을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 유화제로는 당업계에서 사용되는 일반적인 유화제를 사용할 수 있고, 상기 점증제로는 아카시아검, 산탄검, 카르기닌, 마그네슘 알루미늄 실리케이트, 히드록시에칠셀룰로오즈, 히드록시프로필셀룰로오즈, 카르복시메틸셀룰로오즈 및 셀룰로오즈유도체로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 필름 형성제로는 폴리비닐알콜, 폴리비닐아세테이트, 폴리비닐피롤리돈, 암모늄 아크릴레이트 공중합체, 피브이피/에이코신 공중합체, 아크릴릭/아크릴레이트 공중합체, 아크릴레이트 공중합체, 알킬아크릴레이트 공중합체 에멀젼 및 하이드록시에틸셀룰로즈 디메틸디알릴암모늄 클로라이드 코폴리머(Hydroxyethylcellulose Dimethyldiallyammonium Chloride Compolymer, 상품명: 폴리쿼터늄-4)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 색소로는 무기 색소, 유기 색소 또는 펄 색소 등을 사용할 수 있으며, 목적하는 색과 색의 농도에 따라 색소 1종 또는 1종 이상을 혼합하여 사용할 수 있다.
상기 보습제로는 마스카라 용액에 통상적으로 이용되는 여러 종류의 보습제를 사용할 수 있으며, 예를 들어, 글리세린, 1,3-부틸렌글리콜, 프로필렌글리콜, DL-판테놀, 솔비톨, 글리콜 디스테아레이트 및 솔비톨 히드록시 스테아레이트 등으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 방부제로는 통상적으로　마스카라　용액에 사용되는 것을 사용할 수 있으며, 예를 들어, 이미다졸리디닐우레아, 디아졸리디닐우레아, 퀴터늄-15, 페녹시에탄올, 에탄올, 소르비산칼륨, 파라옥시안식향산메칠, 파라옥시안식향산부틸, 파라옥시안식향산프로필 및 파라옥시안식향산에틸로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상을 사용할 수 있다
또한, 본 발명에 따른　마스카라　용액은 본 발명에 따른 목적을 저해하지 않는 범위 내에서 위한 pH 조정제, 침투 보조제 및 제품의 제형화를 위한 안정화제, 계면활성제, 컨디셔닝제, 피부유연화제, 외관향상제, 향료, 안료, 금속이온 봉쇄제 등의 다양한 화장품 제형화제를 또한 추가적으로 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 관점은 (i) 1개의 마스카라 솔대; 및 (ii) 뚜껑으로 개폐되는 내부 공간을 포함하는 2이상의 용기를 포함하는 마스카라를 제공한다. 여기서, 상기 솔대의 자유단은 브러쉬모가 없는 마스카라 도포헤드를 포함하고, 상기 도포헤드의 내부 공간은 자석을 포함하며, 상기 2이상의 용기는 서로 상이한 컬러의 2이상의 마스카라 용액을 각각 포함한다.
이와 같이 상기 마스카라 도포헤드는 브러쉬모가 없기 때문에 솔대를 세척하여 사용할 수 있고, 따라서 하나의 마그네틱 내장 솔대를 이용하여 다양한 컬러의 마스카라 용액을 속눈썹에 적용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 마스카라는 속눈썹 뿌리부터 지그재그로 위로 올려주듯 발라주는 방법으로 사용하여, 속눈썹을 당기는(제모 기능이 있는) 식물성 왁스 성분이 다량 함유된 마스카라 용액이 눈썹 사이사이에 균일하게 도포되도록 한다. 그러면, 마스카라 성분 속 산화철이 자력에 의해 속눈썹 끝에 자동적으로 달라 붙어 산화철이 같은 방향으로 정렬하면서 연장된다. 따라서, 물리적인 힘으로 내용물을 속눈썹에 바르는 일반 마스카라와는 달리, 자력에 의한 현저한 컬링 효과를 나타내며 또한 속눈썹 끝에 묻은 산화철이 계속해서 이어 붙기 때문에 보다 더 깔끔한 롱래쉬 효과를 구현할 수 있다.
본 발명의 마스카라는 브러쉬모가 없는 마스카라 도포헤드를 포함하여 세척 사용이 가능하고, 자석을 내장하고 있음에도 불구하고 동양인의 짧은 속눈썹까지 정밀하게 다듬을 수 있는 효과를 갖는다.

이하, 실시예를 통하여 본 발명을 더욱 상세히 설명 하고자 한다. 이들 실시예는 오로지 본 발명을 보다 구체적으로 설명하기 위한 것으로서, 본 발명의 범위가 이들 실시예에 의해 제한되지 않는다는 것은 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 있어서 자명할 것이다.

제조예
하기 표 1의 성분 및 함량(v/v%)으로　마스카라　용액을 제조하였다. 이때, 식물성 왁스 성분으로는 카나우바 왁스, 살겨왁스, 검양옻나무열매왁스를 사용하였다.

실험예
브러쉬모가 없는 마스카라 도포헤드를 포함하고 도포헤드 내부 공간에 자석을 포함하는 본 발명의 마그네틱 마스카라 기구를 제작하고, 20~40대 여성 20명에게 속눈썹 화장을 수행하게 하고, 속눈썹 연장 길이 및 컬의 곡률을 평가하였다.
컬의 곡률은 하기의 평가 기준을 사용하였다.
- J 컬:　사람의 속눈썹과 가까운 완만한 컬링.
- JC 컬:　J컬과 C컬의 중간 정도의 곡률로 자연스러운 컬링 효과를 주며, 꼬리 부분에서부터 강하게 컬링이 있는 타입.
- C 컬: 뷰러로 집은 듯한 컬.
-　CC컬: C컬보다 강한 컬.
하기 표 2에서, 실시예는 상기 제조예에서 제조한 산화철 및 카나우바 왁스를 함께 포함하는 마스카라 용액을 사용한 경우의 실험결과이다. 비교예 1~2은 식물성 왁스 성분으로 카나우바 왁스, 살겨왁스, 검양옻나무열매왁스 대신에 각각 칸델리나납(비교예 1), 카나우바 왁스 및 해바라기씨 왁스의 동량 혼합물(비교예 2) 또는 슈거왁스(비교예 3)을 사용한 것을 제외하고는 상기 제조예에서와 동일하게 제조한 마스카라 용액을 사용한 경우의 실험결과를 나타낸 것이다.

실험결과 실시예의 마스카라 용액을 자석을 적용하는 경우 가장 현저한 롱래쉬 효과를 나타내며, 꼬리 부분에서부터 강하게 컬링이 있는 JC컬 내지 뷰러로 집은 듯한 C컬이 형성되는 반면에, 다른 식물성 왁스 성분을 사용한 비교예 1~3의 경우 컬링 및 롱래쉬 효과가 적은 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 카나우바 왁스에 제모기능이 있어서 속눈썹이 잡아 당겨진 상태에서 자력이 작용하여 속눈썹 끝에 묻은 산화철이 계속해서 이어 붙기 때문이다.

  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 마스카라 용액은 산화철을 포함하는 것을 것을 특징으로 하는 마스카라.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 마스카라 용액은 산화철 및 속눈썹을 당기는 식물성 왁스를 함께 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스카라.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 속눈썹을 당기는 식물성 왁스는 카바우바 왁스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스카라.
  15. (i) 1개의 마스카라 솔대; 및 (ii) 뚜껑으로 개폐되는 내부 공간을 포함하는 2이상의 용기를 포함하는 마스카라 세트로서,
    상기 솔대의 자유단은 브러쉬모가 없는 마스카라 도포헤드를 포함하고, 상기 도포헤드의 내부 공간은 자석을 포함하며,
    상기 2이상의 용기는 서로 상이한 컬러의 2이상의 마스카라 용액을 각각 포함하고,
    상기 솔대는 세척하여 사용할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스카라 세트.
