Description

MASCARA BRUSH
The present invention relates to a mascara brush made from rubber, and more particularly to a structure of a reinforcement insertion member which is insert-molded into a supporting member of the rubber brush.
According to the present invention, the structure of the reinforcement insertion member is improved so that the reinforcement insertion member may be assembled tightly without separation from the supporting member, thereby credibility of a rubber brush containing rubber fur is increased.
Mascara is a kind of cosmetic equipments for makeup eyelashes to look longer and thicker than it is. Mascara is used to make eyelashes, which stretches straightly upward or downward, waved so that it may look beautiful.
To make up upper eyelash, the brush with an appropriate amount of mascara solution brushes the upper eyelash downward from the root of the upper eyelash with a soft touch and then brushes the upper eyelash upward with a stroke while eyes are kept being turned down. A batter makeup can be achieved when the brush is stroked up in zigzag.
To makeup lower eyelash, the brush is set to stand lengthwise, brushes the lower eyelash from side to side and then brushes the lower eyelash along the texture of the lower eyelash to paste mascara solution little by little.
A shape of eyes can be expressed more clearly and apparently when mascara solution is applied to eyelash finely one by one.
General structure of typical mascara includes a container to contain mascara solution and a cap with a brush to open/close the container.
It is usual that the brush is rotated to use after an appropriate amount of mascara solution is applied thereto.
Those mascaras can be classified into two types; one is a nylon brush having two twisted strands of steel wires with nylon fur and the other is a rubber brush having molded rubber fur.
A rubber brush is used more frequently because it stimulates eyes less than the nylon brush and satisfies a sense of usage of customers.
Rubber brushes can be classified into two types; one is a disk type having a number of rubber disks and the other is a radial type having a number of rubber furs extending outward in radial direction.
Exemplary embodiment of the radial type is presented by a published korean patent No. 2002-0095018, titled "application brush for liquid or pasty means, especially for decorative cosmetics such as mascara and method for producing same". Exemplary embodiment of the disk type is presented by registered korean patent No. 10-0080781, titled "Method to manufacture reinforcement insertion type mascara brush and manufacturing for transfer mold"
A brush according to the published korean patent No. 2002-0095018 is made from elastomeric synthetic material and it includes a supporting member where a number of fingers extending outward in radial direction are provided on its outer surface and a reinforcement insertion member which is inserted inside of the supporting member,
The brush according to the published korean patent No. 2002-0095018 is preferred by customers because it doesn't stimulate eyes when makeup and it ensures stability in use.
However the brush according to the published korean patent No. 2002-0095018 has a shortage in that the reinforcement insertion member, which is insert-molded, is separated easily from the supporting member.
One of representative reasons of separation is heat disinfection for sanitary usage.
Because thermal expansion coefficients of the supporting member of rubber and the reinforcement insertion member of metal are different from each other, a gap is generated in heat disinfection process so that binding force between the supporting member and the reinforcement insertion member is decreased largely.
Due to the problem, conventional rubber brushes comes forward without heat disinfection. Accordingly, conventional rubber brushes cannot ensure the sanitary of consumer safely.
Chemical reaction with mascara solution or repeated processes to pull out the rubber brush from the container can cause the separation, for the rubber brush is used in the state that it is dipped into mascara solution of the container and force to pull out the brush from the container is applied repetitively. .
To solve the problem, a reinforcement insertion type mascara brush according to the registered korean patent No. 10-0080781 was suggested. According to a reinforcement insertion type mascara brush, not only an applicator but also a portion to be connected to a brush stick is applied by rubber. Although the problem that the reinforcement insertion member is separated from applicator can be solved a little, there is another problem that a connecting portion protruded from the applicator cannot be connected to the brush stick tightly because rubber covering the connecting portion act as a cushion.
Further rubber can be broken easily when deflection is occurred at the connecting portion because rubber covering the connection portion is very thin.
The problem that the reinforcement insertion member is separated from the applicator due to the difference of heat expansion coefficients cannot be solved completely by the reinforcement insertion type mascara brush according to the registered korean patent No. 10-0080781. Even further, it is occurred that rubber is broken when great deflection is occurred,
An object of the present invention is to provide a brush capable of ensuring stability in accordance with heat disinfection process.
In a mascara brush made by rubber so as to makeup eyelash softly without stimulation of eyes, the mascara brush according to the present invention is characterized in that a freezing member 112 of a reinforcement insertion member 110 insert-molded inside of supporting member 121 constituting the rubber brush member 120 is shaped on the supporting member 121.
According to the present invention, a freezing member 112 is provided on a reinforcement insertion member 110, which is inserted into a supporting member 121 constituting a rubber brush member 120. Because the freezing member 112 is frozen to the supporting member 121 of the rubber brush member 120, the phenomena that the reinforcement insertion member 110 is separated from the rubber brush member 120 by the gap between the reinforcement insertion member 110 and the rubber brush member 120 caused by the difference in heat expansion coefficients in the heat disinfection process for sanitary usage can be solved. Robust freezing can increase credibility of the rubber brush 100 with rubber fur 122 so that market competiveness can be ensured. Stability according to the heat disinfection process can be achieved so that sanitary rubber brush can be supplied to customers.
The above and other features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing in detail preferred embodiments thereof with reference to the attached drawings in which;
FIG. 1 is an extracted view illustrating a cap of the mascara container according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
FIG. 2 is an extracted perspective view illustrating the mascara rubber brush according to the present invention; and
FIG. 3 is an extracted sectional view illustrating the mascara rubber brush according to the present invention.

A mascara rubber brush according to the present invention is a rubber brush made from rubber for makeup eyelash without stimulation of eyes, as shown in FIG. 1 through FIG. 3.
The rubber brush member 120 includes a supporting member 121 where a reinforcement insertion member 110 is inserted and a number of rubber fur 122 extending outward in radial direction are provided on the outer surface of the supporting member 121.
A freezing member 112 is provided on the reinforcement insertion member 110 which is inserted into the supporting member 121 of the rubber brush member 120.
The reinforcement insertion member 110 including the freezing member 112 is composed by two twisted strands of steel wire 111 and a bundle of the freezing member 112 are placed between steel wire 111 in the lengthy direction.
The end portion of the freezing member 111 is melted, combined each other and smelted in the supporting member 121 due to the temperature of smelted rubber which is inserted in the injection process and then frozen to the supporting member 121.
The freezing member 112 is made from synthetic resin fur which can be smelted.
The mascara rubber brush 100 according to the present invention can be applied to a manual mascara and an electric mascara.
The reinforcement insertion member 110 with the freezing member 112 is supplied to a mold in a pre-processing process automatically, rubber which is a row material of the rubber brush member 120 is supplied, and the rubber brush 100 having the reinforcement insertion member 110 with the freezing member 112 can be shaped.
The freezing member 112 of the reinforcement insertion member 110 which is inserted into the supporting member 121 of the rubber brush member 120 is frozen to the supporting member 121 of the rubber brush member 120.
The reinforcement insertion member 110 cannot be separated from the rubber brush member 120 because the freezing member 112 is frozen to the supporting member 121 of the rubber brush member 120.
The rubber brush 100 comes forward after heat disinfection process. Robust freezing to overcome separation due to the temperature of the heat disinfection process by the difference of heat expansion coefficients of rubber and metal is performed through the process where the end portion of the freezing member 112 is melted, combined each other and frozen frozen by the temperature of frozen rubber which is injected in the injection process.
Robust freezing is performed because smelting is generated at the end of freezing member 112 in a heat disinfection process.
A number of rubber fur 122 extending outward in radical direction are provided on the outer surface of the supporting member 121 of the rubber brush member 120.
When connecting the rubber brush 100 to the brush stick 110 which is extended from the cap 10, a protruded portion of the reinforcement insertion member 110 which is protruded from the supporting member 121 of the rubber brush member 120 is inserted into a connecting aperture(its reference number is not shown in drawings) which is provided at the front end of the brush stick 11.
When makeup with the brush 100, the rubber brush member 120 with an amount of mascara solution is pulled out from a container (not shown).
When the rubber brush member 120 is pulled out from the container, the rubber fur 122 is brushed by a wiper which is provided at the aperture of the container so that an appropriate amount of mascara solution is remained among a number of the rubber fur 122.
Makeup of eyelash is performed by using the rubber brush 100 containing mascara solution. Makeup of upper eyelash is performed first and then makeup of lower eyelash is performed.
If the brush with an appropriate amount of mascara solution brushes the upper eyelash downward from the root of the upper eyelash with a soft touch to make up upper eyelash while eyes are kept being turned down, mascara solution among a number of the rubber fur 122 is applied on the eyelash. After that, the brush brushes the upper eyelash upward to apply mascara solution to the upper eyelash.
Eyelash is waved when the rubber brush member 120 brushes eyelash with rotation in the state that mascara solution is applied evenly to the upper eyelash.
After makeup of upper eyelash was performed, makeup of lower eyelash is performed.
To makeup lower eyelash, the rubber brush member 120 is set to stand lengthwise, brushes the lower eyelash from side to side and then brushes the lower eyelash along its texture to paste mascara solution little by little.
The rubber brush 100 according to the present invention can keep stable state without separation of the rubber brush member 120 and the reinforcement insertion member 110 due to the tension generated when the rubber brush member 120 is inserted into the container or pulled out from the container.
