Abstract

이차전지가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따르면, 이차전지가 발화하는 경우 이차전지 내부의 가스 및 물질 등이 원활하게 배출되도록 하여 이차전지의 발화시 안전성이 향상될 수 있다. 상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 일 측면에 따르면, 전극 조립체; 상기 전극 조립체를 수용하기 위한 전지 캔; 및 상기 전지 캔에 도포되는 도포부를 포함하고, 상기 전지 캔은, 상기 전지 캔의 다른 영역에 비해 상대적으로 얇은 두께를 갖는 슬림부를 포함하며, 상기 도포부는 상기 슬림부 상에 도포되고, 상기 도포부의 인장 강도는 상기 슬림부의 인장 강도보다 낮은 이차전지가 제공된다.
