Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition cosmétique et une composition d'aliment fonctionnel de santé pour réduire les rides cutanées, améliorer l'élasticité de la peau, favoriser l'hydratation de la peau, exfolier la peau, inhiber les érythème ou réduire le photovieillissement de la peau, la composition cosmétique et la composition d'aliment fonctionnel de santé contenant de l'ionol ou un sel de celui-ci en tant que principe actif. Plus spécifiquement, l'ionol, selon la présente invention, présente un effet d'accroissement de la quantité de sécrétion de procollagène, favorise la biosynthèse du collagène, réduit l'expression génique MMP, augmente l'expression du gène de l'élastine, inhibe les érythèmes ou inhibe l'hyperplasie épidermique, et est donc efficace pour réduire les rides cutanées, améliorer l'élasticité de la peau, favoriser l'hydratation de la peau, exfolier la peau, inhiber les érythèmes ou réduire le photovieillissement de la peau.
