- IEEE 802.11 Since IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.11 supports the initial wireless LAN technology using the 2.4GHz frequency, various standards of technology are being put into practice or being developed.
- IEEE 802.11b supports communication speeds up to 11Mbps while using frequencies in the 2.4GHz band.
- IEEE 802.11a commercialized after IEEE 802.11b, reduces the impact of interference compared to the frequency of the congested 2.4 GHz band by using the frequency of the 5 GHz band instead of the 2.4 GHz band. Up to 54Mbps.
- IEEE 802.11a has a shorter communication distance than IEEE 802.11b.
- IEEE 802.11g like IEEE 802.11b, uses a frequency of 2.4 GHz band to realize a communication speed of up to 54 Mbps and satisfies backward compatibility, which has received considerable attention. Is in the lead.
- IEEE 802.11n is a technical standard established to overcome the limitation of communication speed, which has been pointed out as a weak point in WLAN. IEEE 802.11n aims to increase the speed and reliability of networks and to extend the operating range of wireless networks. More specifically, IEEE 802.11n supports High Throughput (HT) with data throughput of up to 540 Mbps and also uses multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver to minimize transmission errors and optimize data rates. It is based on Multiple Inputs and Multiple Outputs (MIMO) technology. In addition, the specification may use a coding scheme that transmits multiple duplicate copies to increase data reliability.

- IEEE 802.11ac supports a wide bandwidth (80MHz to 160MHz) at 5GHz frequency.
- the IEEE 802.11ac standard is defined only in the 5GHz band, but for backwards compatibility with existing 2.4GHz band products, early 11ac chipsets will also support operation in the 2.4GHz band. Theoretically, this specification allows multiple stations to have a minimum WLAN speed of 1 Gbps and a maximum single link speed of at least 500 Mbps.
- IEEE 802.11ad is a method of transmitting data using a 60 GHz band instead of the existing 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz.
- IEEE 802.11ad is a transmission standard that uses beamforming technology to provide speeds of up to 7Gbps, and is suitable for streaming high bitrate video such as large amounts of data or uncompressed HD video.
- the 60 GHz frequency band is difficult to pass through obstacles, and thus can be used only between devices in a short space.

- FIG. 6 illustrates an embodiment of a MAC Protocol Data Unit (MPDU) aggregation method of a WLAN packet.
- MPDU MAC Protocol Data Unit
- An aggregate MPDU as shown in FIG. 6 may be used to solve such a problem and to increase data transmission efficiency of terminals.
- An A-MPDU consists of one or more A-MPDU subframes and a variable amount of End of Frame (EOF) padding.
- Each A-MPDU subframe includes an MPDU delimiter and may optionally include an MPDU following it.
- the MPDU identifier indicates information on the MPDU included in the corresponding A-MPDU subframe. More specifically, the MPDU identifier includes an end of frame (EOF) field, an MPDU length field, a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) field, and an MPDU signature field.
- the EOF Length field indicates the length of the MPDU.
- the MPDU Length field is set to zero.
- the CRC field is used to detect an error of the MPDU delimiter
- the MPDU signature field represents a pattern that the receiver can use to detect the MPDU delimiter.
- MPDU may also be used as a term indicating an A-MPDU subframe composed of the MPDU for convenience.
- an MPDU in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 may indicate an A-MPDU subframe in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1, or an MPDU constituting the A-MPDU subframe.
- the MPDU having the value of the EOF field set to 1 may indicate an A-MPDU subframe including the MPDU identifier having the value of the EOF field set to 1 or an MPDU constituting the A-MPDU subframe.
- the receiver may be used as a term indicating a terminal that receives an A-MPDU and transmits a response frame thereto.
- the A-MPDU may include one or more A-MPDU subframes (ie, pre-EOF padding) and an EOF padding.
- A-MPDU subframes ie, pre-EOF padding
- EOF padding ie, pre-EOF padding
- a plurality of data frames may be transmitted together through one A-MPDU.
- the value of the EOF field is set to 0, and the value of the MPDU length field is set to a non-zero value.
- a plurality of data MPDUs belonging to TID2 are transmitted through one A-MPDU.
- one or more EOF separators in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 and the MPDU length field value is set to 0 are transmitted to indicate the end of the A-MPDU transmission.
- FIG. 6 (b) shows an embodiment of the configuration of a single MPDU (S-MPDU).
- S-MPDU single MPDU
- the above-described configuration of A-MPDU may be inefficient when the sender wants to transmit one MPDU. More specifically, when A-MPDU is used, an MPDU delimiter should be inserted in every MPDU, and a BlockAck based response including a BA bitmap may be requested. Meanwhile, in an 802.11ac WLAN system, all data transmitted in a PHY Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) format of a VHT PPDU is defined to be transmitted through an MPDU format of an A-MPDU. Therefore, in order to improve an inefficient transmission structure in the above situation, the S-MPDU format may be used when only one MPDU is transmitted in the PPDU.
- PPDU PHY Protocol Data Unit
- the value of the EOF field is set to 1, and the value of the MPDU length field is set to a non-zero value.
- EOF padding may be used in the S-MPDU format.
- FIG. 7 illustrates an embodiment of an MPDU aggregation method of WLAN packets in a non-legacy WLAN system.
- the non-legacy wireless LAN system may indicate a wireless LAN system conforming to the IEEE 802.11ax standard, and the non-legacy wireless LAN packet may indicate a high efficiency (HE) PPDU conforming to the standard.
- HE high efficiency
- the present invention is not limited thereto.
- the receiver includes the corresponding data MPDU in the A-MPDU. Identified as the only MPDU that was specified. Accordingly, the receiver may regard the A-MPDU as an S-MPDU and respond with a general Ack.
- A-MPDUs including MPDUs of a plurality of TIDs may be transmitted in multi-user (MU) transmission or single-user (SU) transmission satisfying a specific condition.
- MU multi-user
- SU single-user
- an A-MPDU in which MPDUs of a plurality of TIDs are aggregated is called a multi-TID A-MPDU.
- the multi-TID A-MPDU of the non-legacy WLAN system may include one or more A-MPDU subframes in which the value of the EOF field is set to one.
- Each MPDU of one or more A-MPDU subframes with the value of the EOF field set to 1 must belong to a different TID and must be the only MPDU of the corresponding TID within the A-MPDU. That is, the A-MPDU subframe including the MPDU identifier having the value of the EOF field set to 1 is composed of an MPDU or an action frame requesting a response of the general Ack. As shown in FIG. 7A, the value of the EOF field of the MPDU identifier that precedes the only MPDU of the specific TID (that is, the MPDU of TID1 and the MPDU of TID 3) in the A-MPDU may be set to 1.
- FIG. 7A the value of the EOF field of the MPDU identifier that precedes the only MPDU of the specific TID (that is, the MPDU of TID1 and the MPDU of TID 3) in the A-MPDU may be set to 1.
- the EOF field value of the MPDU identifier is set to 1 in the case of the only MPDU of the TID in the A-MPDU.
- an action frame for requesting a general Ack response may also be aggregated with other data MPDUs. In this case, at most one action frame may be aggregated in the A-MPDU, and the EOF field value of the MPDU identifier preceding the action frame may be set to 1.
- data MPDUs of TIDs for which no block response agreement is performed may also be aggregated together with data MPDUs of other TIDs by setting the value of the EOF field of the corresponding MPDU identifier to 1. If the block response agreement is not performed, frames of the TID basically do not support the response of BlockAck. However, since the multi-STA BlockAck (hereinafter M-BA) supports the Ack context, the response to the MPDU of the TID can be performed using the M-BA. When a data MPDU of a TID for which a block response agreement is not performed is transmitted through the A-MPDU, it is obvious that the MPDU is the only MPDU of the TID.
- M-BA multi-STA BlockAck
- the value of the EOF field of the corresponding MPDU identifier may be set to zero.
- the response to the MPDU of the corresponding TID may be performed using the M-BA.
- one or more MPDUs of the TIDs for which the block response agreement is performed may be aggregated in the same A-MPDU by setting the value of the EOF field of the corresponding MPDU identifier to 0.
- the MPDU of the corresponding A-MPDU subframe may be regarded as the only MPDU transmitted through the A-MPDU. That is, the received A-MPDU could be regarded as the S-MPDU shown in FIG.
- the non-legacy WLAN system after identifying other MPDU identifiers and MPDUs, it is determined whether the corresponding A-MPDU is an S-MPDU, a (single-TID) A-MPDU, or a multi-TID A-MPDU. Can be.
- the receiver of the aforementioned S-MPDU, A-MPDU, or multi-TID A-MPDU may send a response based on an acknowledgment context.
- the response context may include a BlockAck context, an Ack context, an All Ack context, and the like, which will be described later.
- an A-MPDU subframe in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 may indicate an Ack context. If the MPDU of the A-MPDU subframe having the value of the EOF field is 1 is transmitted alone through the A-MPDU, the response to the corresponding MPDU may be performed using the Ack frame. However, when the MPDUs of an A-MPDU subframe having an EOF field value of 1 are aggregated and transmitted together with other frames requesting an immediate response, the response to the corresponding MPDU may be performed using the M-BA frame.
- the response to the MPDU of the A-MPDU subframe having the value of the EOF field is 1 is performed using the M-BA frame
- the response to the MPDU is per AID TID information in which the BA bitmap is omitted in the M-BA frame. It is received through the field. More specifically, the response context included in each per AID TID information in the M-BA frame may be indicated through an Ack type subfield of the per AID TID information field.
- the value 1 of the Ack type subfield may indicate the Ack context
- the value 0 of the Ack type subfield may indicate the BlockAck context.
- the response to the MPDU of the A-MPDU subframe having the value of the EOF field is 1 is performed using the M-BA frame
- FIG. 8 illustrates another embodiment of an MPDU aggregation method of WLAN packets in a non-legacy WLAN system.
- a maximum of one A-MPDU subframe in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 in one A-MPDU is one for each TID. May exist. That is, in one A-MPDU, an A-MPDU subframe in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 and a plurality of A-MPDU subframes in which the value of the EOF field is set to 0 may coexist.
- a method of arranging a plurality of MPDUs in a multi-TID A-MPDU may be set to comply with existing MPDU placement rules in A-MPDUs.
- the A-MPDU subframe in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 may be set to be positioned between the A-MPDU subframe in which the value of the EOF field is set to 0 and EOF padding.
- the arrangement of the MPDU identifiers (or A-MPDU subframes) in the A-MPDU may be set in the following order.
- MPDU identifiers with the value of the EOF field set to 0 and the value of the MPDU length field set to a non-zero value (in the embodiment of FIG. 8, the MPDU identifiers for the MPDUs of TID2).
- Second group MPDU identifier (s) in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 and the value of the MPDU length field is set to a non-zero value (in the embodiment of FIG. 8, the MPDU identifier for the MPDU of TID1, the MPDU for the MPDU of TID3).
- Delimiter, and MPDU delimiter for action frames in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 and the value of the MPDU length field is set to a non-zero value (in the embodiment of FIG. 8, the MPDU identifier for the MPDU of TID1, the MPDU for the MPDU of TID3).
- Delimiter, and MPDU delimiter for action frames in the embodiment of FIG. 8, the MPDU identifier for the MPDU of TID1, the MPDU for the MPDU of TID3.
- Third group MPDU delimiter (s) in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 and the value of the MPDU length field is set to 0 (in the embodiment of FIG. 8, the EOF padding section).
- the arrangement of the MPDU identifiers in the A-MPDU may be set in the order of the first group, the second group, and the third group. According to an embodiment, there may be no restriction on the arrangement order of the MPDUs in the first group and / or the arrangement order of the MPDUs in the second group. That is, the arrangement of a plurality of MPDUs belonging to the same group may not be contiguous with the same TIDs, and there may be no limitation in the order between the TIDs.
- the A-MPDU may aggregate multiple MPDUs into one PHY Service Data Unit (PSDU).
- PSDU PHY Service Data Unit
- MPDUs of various types of frames may be aggregated into A-MPDUs. More specifically, a QoS data frame, a QoS null frame, an action frame, an action no ack frame, a control frame, etc. may be aggregated into one A-MPDU.
- the A-MPDU including the QoS data frame may be classified into a data enabled immediate response (DEIR) context and a data enabled no immediate response (DENIR) context according to whether the data frame requests an immediate response.
- DEIR data enabled immediate response
- DENIR data enabled no immediate response
- Whether the data frame requests an immediate response may be indicated through an Ack policy subfield of the QoS control field of the MAC header.
- the response policy subfield may indicate a response policy for data through four different field values.
- the receiver responds to the data frame with a generic Ack or an implicit BlockAck. If the response policy is a generic Ack or an implicit BlockAck, an immediate response to the data frame is requested. That is, the receiver transmits an Ack frame or BlockAck frame after SIFS from the PPDU carrying the data frame. In this case, the BlockAck frame may be transmitted individually or may be transmitted as part of the A-MPDU.
- the response policy subfield when the response policy subfield is set to the second value, a response to the corresponding data frame is not requested. That is, when the response policy subfield is set to the second value, the response policy may be identified as No Ack.
- a non-explicit Ack is requested. If the response policy is a non-explicit Ack, the response to the data frame is performed but the response is not an Ack frame.
- an HTP (HE TB PPDU) Ack may be requested. If a data frame is sent over a PPDU requesting a HE TB (high efficiency trigger-based) PPDU and the response policy of the data frame is HTP Ack, the receiver responds to the data frame via a HE TB PPDU.
- BlockAck is requested. If the response policy is BlockAck, the receiver takes no action except to record its status upon receipt of the frame. The receiver may perform a response when a BlockAck request frame is received.
- the information on whether the data frame requests an immediate response is designated in the form of QoSAck or QosNoAck through a TID-specific service class in a MAC Service Access Point (SAP) that is part of a higher layer of the MAC.
- SAP MAC Service Access Point
- the block response agreement is not performed on the TID in which the service class is designated as QoSNoAck, and the value of the response policy subfield of the frame of the TID is set to indicate a second value, that is, No Ack.
- a legacy WLAN system only one TDU's MPDUs could be transmitted through one A-MPDU. Therefore, when a QoS data frame or QoS null frame of a TID requesting an immediate response is aggregated, the corresponding A-MPDU is automatically divided into a DEIR context. In addition, when a QoS data frame or QoS null frame of a TID that does not request an immediate response is aggregated, the corresponding A-MPDU is automatically divided into a DENIR context. Therefore, in a legacy WLAN system, frames of a TID having a service class of QoSAck and a frame of another TID having a service class of QoSNoAck could not be aggregated into one A-MPDU.
- FIG. 9A illustrates an A-MPDU of a DEIR context according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- An A-MPDU in which a frame of a TID having a service class of QoSAck and a frame of another TID having a service class of QoSNoAck is aggregated, may be classified into a DEIR context because an immediate response is requested by the TID having a service class of QoSAck.
- a frame having a response policy of No Ack is at least one of a frame having a response policy of Ack (or implicit BlockAck), a frame having a response policy of HTP Ack, a frame having a response policy of BlockAck, and an action frame. Can be selectively aggregated in the A-MPDU of the DEIR context only if is present.
- FIG. 9B shows an A-MPDU in a DENIR context according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- frames of a plurality of TIDs having a response policy of No Ack may be aggregated together in an A-MPDU of a DENIR context.
- one or more frames of TID having a response policy of No Ack and an action No Ack frame may be aggregated together.
- FIG. 10 illustrates an embodiment of a response method according to a format of an A-MPDU.
- A-MPDUs having the following formats may be used. i) A-MPDU in which multiple MPDUs belonging to different TIDs are aggregated (the embodiment of FIG. 10 (a)). ii) an A-MPDU in which multiple MPDUs belonging to one TID are aggregated (an embodiment of FIG. 10 (b)). iii) an A-MPDU containing one MPDU (an embodiment of FIG. 10 (c)).
- the structure of the response frame may vary depending on the format of the A-MPDU received by the receiver. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the following response frame may be transmitted for each A-MPDU format.
- Ack frame When there is only one MPDU whose EOF field is set to 1 in the received A-MPDU. Or if there is only one MPDU requesting an immediate response within the received A-MPDU.
- C-BA Compressed BlockAck
- All MPDUs requesting an immediate response from the received A-MPDU belong to the same TID.
- the received A-MPDU consists of MPDUs of only one TID requesting an immediate response and frames not requesting an immediate response other than the TID.
- the frame that does not request an immediate response may include an action No Ack frame, a QoS data frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, a QoS null frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, and the like.
- Multi-STA BlockAck (M-BA) frame The received A-MPDU consists of MPDUs of two or more TIDs requesting an immediate response. Or the received A-MPDU is configured to include an action frame and MPDUs of one or more TIDs requesting an immediate response.
- the response When a response is transmitted in an M-BA frame, the response may be performed through an independent per AID TID information field for each TID. If the MPDU in which the EOF field is set to 1 exists in the received A-MPDU, the value of the Ack type subfield of the per AID TID information field corresponding to the MPDU is set to 1 so that the BA bitmap may be omitted. have.
- a sender may transmit a multi-TID A-MPDU, and different response policies may be specified for each TID in one A-MPDU.
- the receiver may transmit a response using any one of an Ack frame, a BlockAck frame, and an M-BA frame based on the format of the received A-MPDU.
- the non-AP STA may not simultaneously receive data from multiple terminals. Accordingly, the STA may perform a response to the A-MPDU based on information included in the received A-MPDU, presence or absence of uplink multi-user trigger information in the A-MPDU, and the like.
- FIG. 11 illustrates embodiments of a method of responding to an STA when there is no MPDU in which a response policy is set to HTP Ack in the received A-MPDU.
- the A-MPDU transmitted by the AP may be carried in a high efficiency single-user (HE SU) PPDU or a high efficiency multi-user (HE MU) PPDU, and the STA receives it. If the response policy of the MPDU included in the received A-MPDU is set to HTP Ack, the receiver should perform the response in the HE TB PPDU format. However, if there is no MPDU in which the response policy is set to HTP Ack in the received A-MPDU, the STA may perform a response in the HE SU PPDU format.
- HE SU high efficiency single-user
- HE MU high efficiency multi-user
- the STA may respond to any one of an Ack frame, a BlockAck frame, and an M-BA frame carried in the HE SU PPDU based on the format of the received A-MPDU.
- the STA may determine the format of the response frame in consideration of the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response among the successfully received MPDU (s) of the A-MPDU, the MPDU identifier information of the A-MPDU, and the like. More specifically, the STA may determine the format of the response frame based on a combination of at least one of the following information included in the MPDU (s) of the successfully received A-MPDU.
- FIG. 11 (a) shows an embodiment in which an STA responds to an A-MPDU with an Ack frame carried in a HE SU PPDU.

That is, when the successfully received MPDU (s) among the A-MPDUs contain only one MPDU requesting an immediate response, the STA responds with an Ack frame.
- the MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context may include an action frame, a QoS data frame in which the response policy is a general Ack, and a QoS null frame in which the response policy is a general Ack.
- an MPDU requesting an immediate response of an Ack context may follow an MPDU delimiter whose value of the EOF field is 1 and the value of the MPDU length field is not zero.
- the MPDU that does not request an immediate response may include an action No Ack frame, a QoS data frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, a QoS null frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, and the like.
- the STA may respond with an M-BA frame if it is identified that the received A-MPDU contains only one MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context.
- the STA may perform response of the Ack context by inserting only one per AID TID information field into the M-BA frame.
- the STA can transmit the M-BA frame only when transmission is possible using a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) according to a specified rule within a duration indicated by the received MPDU.
- MCS modulation and coding scheme

- C-BA compressed BlockAck
- the STA responds with a compressed BlockAck (C-BA) frame. That is, if the successfully received MPDU (s) among the A-MPDUs include one or more MPDUs of only one TID requesting an immediate response, the STA responds with a C-BA frame.

- a frame whose response policy is an implicit BlockAck may request an immediate response of the BlockAck context.
- the MPDU requesting an immediate response from the BlockAck context may follow an MPDU delimiter having a value of the EOF field of 0 and a value of the MPDU length field not equal to zero.
- the MPDU that does not request an immediate response may include an action No Ack frame, a QoS data frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, a QoS null frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, and the like.

- the MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context may include an action frame, a QoS data frame in which the response policy is a general Ack, a QoS null frame in which the response policy is a general Ack, and the like.
- an MPDU requesting an immediate response of an Ack context may follow an MPDU delimiter whose value of the EOF field is 1 and the value of the MPDU length field is not zero.
- the response When a response is transmitted in an M-BA frame, the response may be performed through an independent per AID TID information field for each TID.

In this case, the STA that receives the MPDU with the response policy set to the HTP Ack may respond in the HE TB PPDU format only in the following cases.
- HE SU high efficiency single-user
- HE MU high efficiency multi-user

If the terminal responds in batches of M-BA frames, the implementation is simple and eliminates the possibility of the sender receiving a response frame of an unintended format. However, if it is clear that the S-MPDU is transmitted, there is a disadvantage that a response should be performed in an M-BA frame having a larger data amount than an Ack frame.
- FIGS. 15 to 19 illustrate an operation method of a terminal when transmission of at least some MPDUs among A-MPDUs has failed.
- the same or corresponding parts as those of the previous drawings will be omitted.
- the terminal may generate an A-MPDU including one or more MPDU (s) requesting an immediate response and transmit the generated A-MPDU.
- the receiver of the A-MPDU determines the format of the response frame based on the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response among the successfully received MPDU (s), and transmits the response frame of the determined format. That is, the response frame of the A-MPDU may be generated based on the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response among MPDU (s) successfully received by the receiver.
- the action frames included among the successfully received MPDU (s) may be considered individual TIDs.
- the terminal receives a response frame of a receiver corresponding to the A-MPDU, and determines whether the transmission of the MPDU (s) included in the A-MPDU is successful based on the received response frame.
- the terminal may determine whether the transmission of each MPDU is successful based on the response information for each MPDU included in the response frame. .
- the receiver may fail to receive at least some MPDUs among the transmitted A-MPDUs. If reception of at least some MPDUs fails, the receiver may be unable to determine which of the S-MPDU, single-TID A-MPDU, and multi-TID A-MPDU has been received.

Therefore, subsequent methods of operation of communication terminals in the reception failure situation of some MPDU should be defined.
- the terminal may determine whether the transmission of the MPDU (s) included in the A-MPDU is successful by comparing the format of the response frame actually transmitted from the intended response frame with respect to the transmitted A-MPDU. Can be.

- the UE considers at least one of the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response among the one or more MPDU (s) constituting the A-MPDU and the MPDU identifier information, and the response frame transmitted in response to the A-MPDU. It is possible to determine whether the transmission of the MPDU (s) included in the success.
- FIG. 15 illustrates a method of transmitting an A-MPDU and a response frame according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 15A illustrates an embodiment in which a UE transmits an S-MPDU and a receiver fails to receive some EOF padding units included in the S-MPDU.
- Figure 15 (b) shows an embodiment in which the terminal transmits a multi-TID A-MPDU, the receiver failed to receive the MPDU of some TID (ie, TID3).
- the receiver receives the S-MPDU transmitted by the terminal and transmits an Ack frame correspondingly. Since the response to the S-MPDU is expected to be an Ack frame, the terminal may determine that the transmission of the S-MPDU is successful.
- the receiver successfully receives only some of the MPDU of the multi-TID A-MPDU transmitted by the terminal.
- the A-MPDU transmitted by the UE includes MPDUs of two different TIDs (ie, TID2 and TID 3) requesting an immediate response of the Ack context, but the receiver successfully receives only one of the MPDUs. It was.
- the MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context may follow an MPDU delimiter whose value of the EOF field is 1 and the value of the MPDU length field is not zero.

- the receiver since the receiver successfully receives only one MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context among the multi-TID A-MPDUs transmitted by the UE, the receiver may determine that the S-MPDU has been received. have. Thus, the receiver responds with an Ack frame to the multi-TID A-MPDU.
- the terminal receives the Ack frame transmitted in response.
- the terminal transmitting the multi-TID A-MPDU receives a response of the Ack frame
- the transmitted A-MPDU is composed of a plurality of TDU MPDUs requesting an immediate response
- the response frame transmitted in response to the A-MPDU is an Ack frame
- the MPDU included in the A-MPDU Is determined to have failed. Accordingly, the terminal may retransmit the MPDU (s) included in the A-MPDU determined as transmission failure.
- the UE apart from being determined that the transmission of the MPDU (s) included in the A-MPDU has failed, since the response of the Ack frame to the A-MPDU has been received, the UE performs the A-MPDU transmission. It can be determined that the channel access for the channel is successful. Accordingly, the terminal may reset at least one of the EDCA parameters of the access category used for channel access for A-MPDU transmission.
- the EDCA parameter may include a contention window, a QoS short retry counter (QSRC), a QoS long retry counter (QLRC), and the like.
- FIG. 16 illustrates a method of transmitting an A-MPDU and a response frame according to another embodiment of the present invention. More specifically, FIG. 16 (a) illustrates a method for transmitting a response frame of an A-MPDU according to the above-described embodiments, and FIG. 16 (b) shows a method of transmitting a response frame of an A-MPDU according to an additional embodiment of the present invention. The method is shown.
- the receiver when the receiver successfully receives only one MPDU requesting immediate response of the Ack context among the multi-TID A-MPDUs transmitted by the UE, the receiver responds with an Ack frame. However, since the Ack frame does not include the block response information field or the TID information field indicating the TID of the response information, the terminal cannot determine for which MPDU the received Ack frame is a response.
- the receiver may determine the format of the response frame based on the reception state of each MPDU of the A-MPDU.
- each MPDU follows the MPDU delimiter, and the MPDU delimiter indicates length information of the MPDU. Since each MPDU delimiter indicates length information of the MPDU, the receiver can determine whether each MPDU and the MPDU delimiter included in the A-MPDU have been successfully received. If the recipient successfully receives only one MPDU requesting an immediate response and at least some MPDUs have not been successfully received, it is possible that another data requesting an immediate response was present in the MPDU that was not successfully received. .
- the receiver may respond with an M-BA frame. For example, if at least one MPDU or MPDU delimiter is not successfully received in the A-MPDU, the receiver may respond with an M-BA frame. More specifically, if at least one MPDU or MPDU delimiter is not successfully received before the first received EOF padding in the A-MPDU, the MPDU that was not successfully received may be an MPDU requesting an immediate response. Thus, the receiver can respond with an M-BA frame.
- the receiver will receive an Ack. Answer with an M-BA frame, not a frame.
- the value of the TID subfield may be set to the TID of the successfully received MPDU, and the value of the Ack type subfield may be set to 1 so that the BA bitmap may be omitted. . That is, if an A-MPDU that is seen as an S-MPDU is received and it is identified as an incomplete A-MPDU, the receiver may respond with an M-BA frame rather than an Ack frame.
- the part not successfully received may be another EOF padding.
- the recipient's response may not be forced into the M-BA frame.
- the response to the M-BA frame is forced when the receiver needs to respond with a C-BA frame. It may not be.
- a receiver may respond with an M-BA frame only if it can transmit an M-BA frame within a duration indicated by a duration indicated by a successfully received MPDU or a trigger frame received in an A-MPDU. Can be.
- the receiver may respond with the M-BA frame only when the M-BA frame can be transmitted within the duration or length using the MCS according to the designated rule.
- the receiver when an A-MPDU, which is viewed as an S-MPDU, is received and at least a portion of the A-MPDU has not been successfully received, the receiver sends the A-MPDU to the multi-TID A-MPDU. Can be regarded as. Since the response to the multi-TID A-MPDU is performed through the M-BA frame, the receiver may respond with the M-BA frame to the A-MPDU.
- the use of the M-BA frame as a response to the HE PPDU can be extended.
- the M-BA frame may respond to the A-MPDU having the most various configurations, and may change its shape to perform an efficient response.
- the M-BA frame can be used universally as a response frame in situations other than the situation in which the Ack frame is sent in response.
- the non-legacy WLAN terminal may respond with an M-BA frame when at least some MPDUs of the A-MPDU are not successfully received and one or more successfully received MPDUs request an immediate response.
- the non-legacy WLAN terminal if the non-legacy WLAN terminal does not successfully receive at least some MPDUs of the A-MPDUs, and the successfully received one or more MPDUs request an immediate response, the non-legacy WLAN terminal converts the A-MPDUs into a multi-TID A-MPDU. Can be considered. Accordingly, the non-legacy WLAN terminal responds with an M-BA frame according to the response procedure for the multi-TID A-MPDU.
- FIG. 17 shows a method of transmitting an A-MPDU and a response frame according to another embodiment of the present invention.
- a response frame transmission method that does not change the operation of an existing receiving terminal may be used.
- the terminal may consider that the enhanced distributed channel access function (EDCAF) of the access category used for channel access in the transmission of the previous A-MPDU has not failed.
- EDCAF enhanced distributed channel access function
- the UE may resume the backoff operation while maintaining EDCA parameters such as a contention window, a QSS (QoS short retry counter), and a QLC (QoS long retry counter) of the access category at a previous value.
- the terminal since the response of the Ack frame to the A-MPDU has been received, the terminal may determine that the channel access (ie, EDCAF) for A-MPDU transmission is successful. Accordingly, the terminal may reset at least one EDCA parameter of the access category used for channel access for A-MPDU transmission.
- FIGS. 18 and 19 illustrate a method of transmitting an S-MPDU and a response frame in a non-legacy WLAN system according to an additional embodiment of the present invention.
- the configuration of the multi-TID A-MPDU is not allowed in the legacy WLAN system.
- the A-MPDU subframe in which the value of the EOF field is set to 1 is the only A-MPDU in the A-MPDU. Obviously it was an MPDU subframe. Thus, the receiver could respond with an Ack frame, excluding other possibilities.
- the configuration of multi-TID A-MPDU is allowed.
- the MPDU of another TID requesting an immediate response from the Ack context multiple MPDUs with the EOF field set to 0, action frames, QoS data that does not request an immediate response. Null frames, Action No Ack frames, etc. are allowed to be aggregated and transmitted together.
- a received A-MPDU when a received A-MPDU includes only one MPDU and the MPDU requests an immediate response of the Ack context, it may be classified as an S-MPDU. Thus, the receiver could respond with an Ack frame.
- the A-MPDU is not an S-MPDU.
- the MPDU that does not request an immediate response may be an action No Ack frame, a QoS data frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, a QoS null frame with a response policy of BlockAck or No Ack, or a control response (for example, Ack, BlockAck). And the like. Therefore, in such a situation, the receiver cannot respond with an Ack frame.
- the A-MPDU is regarded as a single-TID A-MPDU, since the receiver should respond with a C-BA frame, it may be inefficient to omit a BA bitmap through the setting of an Ack type subfield.
- the received A-MPDU includes only one MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context and one or more other MPDUs not requesting an immediate response. If so, the STA may regard the A-MPDU as a multi-TID A-MPDU. Thus, the receiver responds with an M-BA frame. However, the value of the Ack type subfield of the per AID TID information field corresponding to the MPDU requesting an immediate response may be set to 1 so that the BA bitmap may be omitted.
- FIG. 19 illustrates an S-MPDU and response frame transmission method in a non-legacy wireless LAN system according to another embodiment of the present invention.
- trigger information When the A-MPDU is carried in the downlink HE MU PPDU, trigger information must be transmitted with the exception of the MPDU whose response policy is the normal Ack in order for the receiver to respond.
- the trigger information may be transmitted through a UMRS control field included in a trigger frame or a MAC header.
- the terminal that cannot receive the UMRS control field may respond only after receiving an MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context with a trigger frame.
- the receiver may S-MPDU the A-MPDU even if a trigger frame is aggregated together. Can be regarded as. Thus, the receiver responds with an Ack frame.
- the STA may regard the A-MPDU as an S-MPDU. Can be.
- the received A-MPDU includes only one MPDU requesting an immediate response of the Ack context, one or more other MPDUs not requesting an immediate response, and a trigger frame.
- the STA may regard the A-MPDU as an S-MPDU.
- the receiver responds with an Ack frame to the received A-MPDU.
- the receiver regards the A-MPDU as a multi-STA A-MPDU. can do.
- the receiver responds with an M-BA frame.
- the value of the Ack type subfield of the per AID TID information field corresponding to the MPDU requesting an immediate response may be set to 1 so that the BA bitmap may be omitted.
- the AP may indicate the maximum number of TIDs that an A-MPDU each of wireless communication terminals may have using the trigger information.
- the trigger information may be transmitted through at least one of the UMRS control field included in the trigger frame and the MAC header. 20 to 24, an operation in which an AP indicates a maximum number of TIDs that an A-MPDU each transmits may be transmitted by a wireless communication terminal using a trigger frame.
- 20 is a diagram illustrating an operation of transmitting, by a wireless communication terminal, an A-MPDU based on maximum number information of TIDs according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the AP may indicate information on the type of MPDU included in the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by the wireless communication terminal. As described above, the AP may indicate the maximum number of TIDs that the A-MPDU can transmit to the AP by the wireless communication terminal using a trigger frame. In more detail, the AP may indicate a maximum TID to be transmitted by the wireless communication terminal corresponding to the user info field using the user info field of the trigger frame. In a specific embodiment, the AP may indicate the maximum TID to be transmitted by the wireless communication terminal corresponding to the User Info field using the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field of the trigger frame.
- the wireless communication terminal receiving the trigger frame may set the number of TIDs that the A-MPDU may have based on the trigger frame.
- the wireless communication terminal receiving the trigger frame may set the number of TIDs of the MPDU included in the A-MPDU based on the maximum number of TIDs indicated by the trigger frame, and transmit the A-MPDU to the AP.
- the wireless communication terminal receiving the trigger frame may set the number of TIDs of the MPDU included in the A-MPDU so as not to exceed the maximum number of TIDs indicated by the trigger frame, and transmit the corresponding A-MPDU to the AP. This allows the AP to manage the scoreboard efficiently.
- the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field may indicate the maximum number of TIDs that an A-MPDU that a wireless communication terminal receiving a trigger frame transmits to an AP.
- the TID Aggregation Limit field is a 3-bit field having a value from 0 to 7, each of the values from 0 to 7 has a maximum number of 1 to 8 TIDs that an A-MPDU transmitting to the AP can have. It may indicate that any one of the above.
- the AP may indicate that the wireless communication terminal indicated by the trigger frame cannot generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating the MPDU having the TID using the trigger frame.
- the AP may set the TID Aggregation Limit field to 0 to indicate that a wireless communication terminal indicated by a trigger frame cannot generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating MPDUs having a TID.
- the A-MPDU includes an MPDU requesting an immediate response even if the MPDU does not have a TID
- the size of the BA frame transmitted by the receiver in response to the A-MPDU may be increased.
- the score board management burden of the receiver may be large.
- the immediate response may indicate that the receiver transmits the response to the sender within a predetermined period within the same Transmission Opportunity (TXOP).
- the predetermined period may be a short inter-frame space (SIFS).
- the AP may use the trigger frame to indicate that the wireless communication terminal indicated by the trigger frame cannot aggregate an MPDU requesting an immediate response to generate an A-MPDU to send to the AP.
- the MPDU requesting an immediate response may include an MPDU including Quality of Service (QoS) data having a TID.
- the MPDU requesting an immediate response may include a Management MPDU (MMPDU) requesting an immediate response.
- MMPDU Management MPDU
- the MPDU requesting an immediate response may include an action frame.
- the AP cannot generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating MPDUs requesting an immediate response by the wireless communication terminal corresponding to the User Info field by setting the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the user info field of the trigger frame to 0. Can be indicated.
- the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field indicates a value other than 0, it may indicate the maximum number of TIDs that the A-MPDU to transmit to the AP can be transmitted by the wireless communication terminal indicated by the trigger frame.
- the trigger frame indicates that the wireless communication terminal cannot aggregate an MPDU requesting an immediate response to generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP
- the wireless communication terminal aggregates an MPDU that does not request an immediate response to the AP.
- the wireless communication terminal may generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating MPDUs that do not request an immediate response.
- the MPDU not requesting an immediate response may include an MPDU including QoS data in which a response policy is set to No Ack. If the response policy is set to No Ack, it may mean that an ACK for the corresponding frame is not requested.
- MPDUs that do not request an immediate response may include QoS null frames.
- the QoS null frame may be a QoS null frame in which a response policy is set to No Ack.
- an MPDU that does not request an immediate response may include a No Ack action frame.
- the AP may indicate that the wireless communication terminal indicated by the trigger frame may generate an A-MPDU by collecting MPDUs without limiting the number of TIDs, and transmit the generated A-MPDU to the AP using the trigger frame. Specifically, the AP sets the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field of the trigger frame to 7 to generate an A-MPDU by aggregating MPDUs without limiting the number of TIDs. It may indicate that the MPDU can be transmitted to the AP.
- the AP may set the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame to 3 so that the A-MPDU that the third station STA3 transmits to the AP may have. It indicates that the maximum number of TIDs is three.
- the third station STA3 determines the number of TIDs of the A-MPDUs to be transmitted to the AP based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame.
- the third station STA3 determines that the number of TIDs of the A-MPDUs to be transmitted to the AP is 3 based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame.
- the third station STA3 generates an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating an MPDU having a TID of 1, an MPDU having a TID of 2, an MPDU having a TID of 3, an action frame, and a QoS null frame.
- the third station STA3 transmits the generated A-MPDU to the AP.
- the AP transmits an M-BA frame to the plurality of wireless communication terminals including the third station STA3 based on the A-MPDU received from the third station SAT3.
- the AP adjusts the duration of the M-BA frame.
- the third station STA3 processes all MPDUs having no TID, such as QoS null frames and action frames, not to be included in the number of TIDs indicated by the maximum number of TIDs.
- the response to the MPDU having the corresponding TID may not affect the M-BA frame.
- even an MPDU that does not correspond to a specific TID may request an immediate response. Therefore, a specific embodiment of comparing the maximum number of TIDs and the number of TIDs of the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by the wireless communication terminal is required. This will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 21 to 24.
- 21 illustrates an operation of transmitting, by the wireless communication terminal, the A-MPDU based on the maximum number information of the TID according to another embodiment of the present invention.
- the AP may indicate the maximum number of TIDs with a block response agreement that the A-MPDU may transmit using the trigger frame.
- the wireless communication terminal may calculate the number of TIDs of the A-MPDU based on the number of TIDs with the block response agreement. In the above-described embodiments, when the wireless communication terminal compares the maximum number of TIDs with the TID number of the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP, the wireless communication terminal may compare the number of TIDs with the block response agreement with the maximum number of TIDs. have.
- the wireless communication terminal may not calculate the TID without the block response agreement as the TID number of the A-MPDUs. This is because receiving the data corresponding to the TID without the block response agreement may not affect the scoreboard management because the receiver forwards the data corresponding to the TID without the block response agreement to the upper layer immediately. . Also, when the wireless communication terminal calculates the TID without the block response agreement as the number of TIDs, the buffer management and the A-MPDU configuration may be limited.
- the wireless communication terminal when the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field is 1 to 6, the wireless communication terminal generates an A-MPDU in which the number of TIDs with the block response agreement is equal to or less than the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field, and generates the A-MPDU generated to the AP. Can transmit In this case, the wireless communication terminal may add the MPDU corresponding to the TID without the block response agreement to the A-MPDU regardless of the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field. In addition, the AP sets the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the Per User Info of the trigger frame trigger frame to 0 to request an immediate response regardless of whether the wireless communication terminal corresponding to the Per User Info field is a TID with a block response agreement.
- MP-DDUs may be generated to generate A-MPDUs, and may be transmitted to the AP.
- the wireless communication terminal may generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating MPDUs that do not request an immediate response. .
- the AP may set the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame to 3 so that the third station STA3 may have an A-MPDU to transmit to the AP.
- the third station STA3 determines the number of TIDs with the block response agreement of the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame.
- the third station STA3 determines that the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP has three TIDs with a block response agreement based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame. There is a block response agreement for TIDs 1, 2, and 4, and no block response agreement for TID 5. Therefore, the third station STA3 aggregates an MPDU having a TID of 1, an MPDU having a TID of 2, an MPDU having a TID of 3, an MPDU having a TID of 5, an Action No Ack frame, and a QoS Null frame to collect an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP.
- Create The third station STA3 transmits the generated A-MPDU to the AP.
- the AP transmits an M-BA frame to the plurality of wireless communication terminals including the third station STA3 based on the A-MPDU received from the third station SAT3. In this embodiment, the AP adjusts the duration of the M-BA frame.
- Data corresponding to a TID without a block response agreement may also request ACK frame transmission.
- the receiver may transmit the M-BA frame including the Per AID TID field not including the BA bitmap in response to the MPDU corresponding to the TID without the block response agreement. Therefore, even the MPDU corresponding to the TID without the block response agreement may affect the duration of the M-BA frame. Therefore, the maximum number of TIDs that an A-MPDU may have may be calculated based on the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response and the number of frames without a TID requesting an immediate response. This will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 22.
- FIG. 22 is a diagram illustrating an operation of transmitting, by a wireless communication terminal, an A-MPDU based on maximum number information of TIDs according to another embodiment of the present invention.
- the AP may use the trigger frame to limit the number of MPDUs requesting an immediate response that the A-MPDU may have to transmit.
- the AP may indicate the number of TIDs for requesting an immediate response that an A-MPDU to transmit from the wireless communication terminal may have using a trigger frame.
- the wireless communication terminal may calculate the number of TIDs of the A-MPDU based on the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response. In the above-described embodiments, when the wireless communication terminal compares the maximum number of TIDs with the TID number of the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP, the wireless communication terminal determines the number of TIDs for requesting an immediate response of the A-MPDU. It can be compared with the maximum number.
- the wireless communication terminal may calculate the number of TIDs of the A-MPDUs without considering an MPDU that does not request an immediate response. Accordingly, the wireless communication terminal may aggregate MPDUs corresponding to TIDs that do not request an immediate response regardless of the maximum number of TIDs. In addition, the wireless communication terminal may aggregate frames without a TID that do not request an immediate response regardless of the maximum number of TIDs. In addition, the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response may be the sum of the number of frames without a TID requesting an immediate response included in the A-MPDU and the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response included in the A-MPDU.
- the number of frames without a TID may indicate the type of a frame without a TID.
- the action frame in which the TID is 15 in the per AID TID field of the M-BA frame may be one of frames without a TID requesting an immediate response.
- the MPDU corresponding to the TID not requesting an immediate response may be the MPDU corresponding to the TID for which the response policy is set to No Ack.
- the MPDU corresponding to the TID not requesting an immediate response may be a QoS null frame. At this time, the response policy of the QoS null frame may be No Ack.
- the frame without the TID that does not request an immediate response may be an action No Ack frame.
- the AP sets the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the Per User Info of the trigger frame trigger frame to 0 to immediately respond regardless of whether the wireless communication terminal corresponding to the Per User Info field is a TID with a block response agreement.
- MPDUs not requesting may be aggregated to generate A-MPDUs and may be transmitted to the AP.
- the wireless communication terminal may generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating MPDUs that do not request an immediate response. .
- the AP sets the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame to 3, so that the A-MPDU that the third station STA3 transmits to the AP may have. It indicates that the maximum value of the sum of the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response and the number of frames without a TID requesting an immediate response included in the A-MPDU is three.
- the third station STA3 requests an immediate response and the number of TIDs that request an immediate response of the A-MPDU to transmit to the AP based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame. The sum of the sum of the number of frames without a TID is determined.
- the third station STA3 has an immediate TID that does not have a TID and a TID requesting an immediate response included in the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame.
- the sum of the number of frames requesting a response is determined to be three.
- TIDs 1 and 2 request an immediate response, while TIDs 4 and 5 have a response policy set to No Ack.
- Action frames also request an immediate response.
- the third station STA1 aggregates an MPDU having a TID of 1, an MPDU having a TID of 2, an MPDU having a TID of 4, an MPDU having a TID of 5, an action frame, an action no ack frame, and a QoS null frame, and transmits them to the AP.
- Create an MPDU The third station STA3 transmits the generated A-MPDU to the AP.
- the AP transmits an M-BA frame to the plurality of wireless communication terminals including the third station STA3 based on the A-MPDU received from the third station SAT3. In this embodiment, the AP adjusts the duration of the M-BA frame.
- FIG. 23 is a diagram illustrating an operation of transmitting, by a wireless communication terminal, an A-MPDU based on maximum number information of TIDs according to another embodiment of the present invention.
- the plurality of TID A-MPDUs may not include a plurality of action frames. Accordingly, the plurality of TID A-MPDUs may include only one action frame.
- the A-MPDU further includes an action frame
- the length of the M-BA frame is about 2 octets long. Therefore, the change in M-BA duration that occurs as the action frame is added to the A-MPDU is minimal.
- the action frame is more important than the QoS data frame.
- the wireless communication terminal may not calculate the number of action frames as the number of TIDs of the A-MPDUs.
- the wireless communication terminal may generate an A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP by aggregating action frames regardless of the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field.
- the wireless communication terminal may not calculate the number of action frames as the number of TIDs of the A-MPDU.
- the AP may set the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame to 2 so that the third station STA3 may have an A-MPDU to transmit to the AP. It indicates that the maximum value of the sum of the number of TIDs requesting an immediate response and the number of frames without a TID requesting an immediate response included in the A-MPDU except for action frames is three. At this time, the action frame is excluded from the maximum value calculation.
- the third station STA3 excludes the number of TIDs and action frames for requesting an immediate response of the A-MPDU to be transmitted to the AP based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame. Determine the number of sum of the number of frames without TID requesting an immediate response included in the A-MPDU.
- the third station STA3 determines that the A-MPDU to transmit to the AP has two TIDs that request an immediate response based on the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field corresponding to the third station of the trigger frame. TIDs 1 and 2 request an immediate response, while TIDs 4 and 5 have a response policy set to No Ack. Also, action frames are excluded from the counting.
- the AP may instruct the wireless communication terminal that transmits the response to the trigger information to perform channel sensing before transmitting the response using the trigger information.
- the AP may instruct the wireless communication terminal that transmits the response to the trigger information to perform channel sensing before transmitting the response by setting the CS Required field value of the trigger information.
- the CS Required field indicates whether channel sensing is necessary when the wireless communication terminal transmits a response to the corresponding trigger information. In this case, when the value of the CS Required field is 1, the CS Required field may represent that channel sensing is required.
- the wireless communication terminal may determine whether to sense the channel based on the CS Required field of the trigger information when transmitting a response to the trigger information.
- the wireless communication terminal receiving the trigger information may perform channel sensing when transmitting a response to the trigger information.
- the channel sensing may indicate whether the channel for transmitting the response to the trigger information is idle.
- channel sensing may indicate CCA operation.
- FIG. 24 illustrates an operation of setting, by the wireless communication terminal, the maximum number of TIDs of a trigger frame according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the AP may use the trigger information to indicate that channel sensing is not necessary when the wireless communication terminal transmits a response to the trigger information.
- the AP uses the trigger information so that the wireless communication terminal may use the trigger information for the trigger information.
- the length field indicates information about the length of the trigger-based PPDU.
- the length field may indicate information about the length of the trigger-based PPDU.
- the predetermined value may be 418 bytes.
- the AP may prevent the wireless communication terminal transmitting the response to the trigger information from transmitting an immediate response because of channel sensing.
- the operation of the wireless communication terminal to send a response to the trigger information and the data together is a problem. This is because, when the wireless communication terminal operating with EDCA transmits data, the wireless communication terminal can transmit data after performing channel sensing. Also, when the wireless communication terminal transmitting the response to the trigger information transmits an MPDU requesting an immediate response, an additional transmission sequence is required.
- the wireless communication terminal If channel sensing is not required when the wireless communication terminal indicated by the trigger frame transmits a response to the trigger information, the wireless communication terminal generates an A-MPDU by collecting only the MPDUs that do not request an immediate response, and generates the generated A-. MPDU may be transmitted.
- the AP sets the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the user info field of the trigger frame to 0 to the user info field.
- the wireless communication terminal indicated by may indicate that the A-MPDU cannot be generated by aggregating MPDUs requesting an immediate response.
- the wireless communication terminal indicated by the trigger frame requests an immediate response.
- the MPDU may be aggregated to generate an A-MPDU and may indicate that the generated A-MPDU cannot be transmitted.
- the wireless communication terminal may aggregate the MPDUs that do not request an immediate response to generate an A-MPDU and send the generated A-MPDU to the AP.
- the AP transmits a plurality of station HE MU PPDUs.
- the HE MU PPDU includes a trigger frame for requesting an immediate response to the data MPDU included in the HE MU PPDU.
- the value of the length field of the Common Info field of the trigger frame is 418.
- the CS required bit of the trigger frame is set to zero. Therefore, the AP sets the value of the TID Aggregation Limit field of the User Info field of the trigger frame to zero.
- the wireless communication terminal receiving the trigger frame in which the CS required bit is set to 0 may transmit an A-MPDU including a response to the data MPDU included in the HE MU PPDU and an MPDU not requesting an immediate response.
- the length of the length field of the trigger frame triggering the HE TB PPDU including the A-MPDU is less than or equal to 418. Therefore, the first station transmits an A-MPDU including an MPDU including a BA frame and data in which the response policy is No Ack.
- the second station transmits an A-MPDU including a BA frame and an action no ack frame.
- the third station and the fourth station transmit A-MPDUs including a BA frame and a QoS null frame.
