Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vision training device for recognizing power correction.
- Cognitive power in human visual function refers to the ability to recognize a specific image through the left and right eyes. This perception is generally not identical between the left and right eyes. Among the left eye and the right eye, the less cognitive eye is called the weak eye, and the more cognitive eye is called the weak eye. Due to the difference in cognition between the left eye and the right eye, non-weak eyes are used more than weak eyes, and relatively weak eyes are used. As a result of the continuous use of weak eyesight, corrected visual acuity may decrease, and fatigue is added to non-weak eyes, resulting in a vicious cycle that is easily fatigued and the difference in cognition of both eyes becomes larger.
- the so-called blind eye method has been generally used to correct the difference in the cognitive power of both eyes through the method of blocking the non-weak vision and recognizing the object only through the weak vision.

- the suppressed image IMG_S is overlapped and displayed (S120).
- the overlapped recognition suppression image IMG_S has a density value of 100% that completely blocks recognition of the recognition image IMG_R, or a concentration value of 0% that completely permits recognition of the recognition image IMG_R. It can be set to have.
- 4A illustrates an image displayed on the left display 131 when the concentration value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S is 100%.
- the controller 190 controls the left display 131 to sequentially change the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S (S130). For example, the controller 190 controls the left display 131 to decrease the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S having a density of 100% at a set interval, for example, at a 1% interval. Alternatively, the controller 190 controls the left display 131 to continuously decrease the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S.
- the controller 190 checks whether the visibility change confirmation input is input from the user input unit 160 while the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S is changing (S140).
- the visibility change confirmation input is input by pressing the user confirmation button 162 of the user input unit 160 when the user recognizes the recognition image IMG_R while the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S is changing.
- 4B illustrates an example of a screen displayed on the left display 131 at the time of changing the visibility.
- the visibility change point is a time when the recognition image IMG_R is recognized when the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S decreases from 100% sequentially, and the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S is sequentially at 0%. In the case of increasing, it means a time when the recognition image IMG_R is not recognized. However, it is more preferable in view of the accuracy of the time of changing the visibility to decrease the concentration value of the recognition suppression image (IMG_S) sequentially from 100%.
- the controller 190 When receiving the visibility change confirmation input from the user input unit 160, the controller 190 stores information corresponding to the density value of the recognition suppression image IMG_S at that time point as the recognition level information (S150).
- FIG. 5 is a reference diagram for explaining another exemplary embodiment of the measurement mode of FIG. 3. For the sake of clarity, the same parts as those in the above-described measurement mode will be omitted.
- the measurement mode may be performed by adjusting the density value of the recognition image IMG_R without adjusting the density value of the recognition suppression image.
- FIG. 5A shows that the recognition image IMG_R is displayed with a density value of 0% on the left display 131.
- the recognition suppression image is a white background, and the recognition image IMG_R is also white so that the user may not recognize the recognition image IMG_R.
- the controller 190 gradually increases the density value of the recognition image IMG_R so that the recognition image gradually changes from white to gray.
- the user may recognize the recognition image IMG_R that was not recognized at any moment.
- the user inputs the visibility change confirmation input through the user confirmation button 162 of the user input unit 160.
- the controller 190 stores the density value of the recognition image IMG_R at the time when the visibility change confirmation input is input as the recognition information.
- the above-described measurement mode may be performed in the same manner for the right eye of the user.
- the visual acuity training apparatus can measure and confirm user's own recognition level information.
- the recognition information may be used as an important parameter for evaluating the visual acuity of the user as a factor related to the recognition ability among the visual functions of the user.
- it is possible to maximize the effect of improving the user's vision by identifying the visual characteristics of the user through the measurement mode and by providing a customized vision training in consideration of the identified visual characteristics.
- the visual acuity training apparatus provides a left eye recognition image and a right eye recognition image separately through two separate display devices, respectively.
- a vision training device may be used as a mountable device that can be mounted on the user's head.
- the vision training apparatus may be implemented using a single display apparatus. If the vision training device is implemented as a single display device, it may be implemented including a filter for recognition separation. Such a filter for separating recognition enables the left eye and the right eye to separately recognize the recognition image displayed on the single display device.
- the controller 190 controls the color of the recognition suppression image displayed on the single display device as red and green. Can be distinguished. In this case, the left eye of the user will recognize the recognition image only through the red recognition suppression image, and the right eye will recognize the recognition image only through the green recognition suppression image.
- the vision training apparatus When the above-described vision training apparatus is implemented as a single display, the vision training apparatus may be implemented in simple configurations such as a display and buttons and a red rust filter of a smartphone. Therefore, the training mode can be performed using the measured recognition level information and the recognition level information of the user regardless of time or place with a simple configuration.
- FIG. 6 is a flowchart illustrating an example of a training mode operation using a vision training apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
- the controller 190 determines a weak eye among the left eye and the right eye using the stored recognition information of the left eye and the right eye (S220).
- Amblyopia is determined using the recognition information of the left and right eyes measured in the measurement mode, and the eye with the lower density value of the recognition suppression image is determined as the amblyopian eye among the left and right eyes.
- the visibility change confirmation input is input in the measurement mode, when the density value of the recognition suppression image of the left eye is 75% and the concentration value of the recognition suppression image of the right eye is 60%, the user's right eye is determined to be weak eye. do.
- the controller 190 sets a concentration section of the recognition suppression image for the recognition degree training for the determined weak eyes (S230).
- the concentration range may be set to have a predetermined range, for example, 55% to 65%, based on 60%, which is the density value of the recognition suppression image determined in the measurement mode. This range may be automatically set by the controller 190 or set by a user.
- the controller 190 changes the density value of the recognition suppression image within the set concentration section (S240). That is, the controller controls the right display 132 so that the density values of the recognition inhibited images displayed on the right display 132 are sequentially changed within a set range.
- the controller 190 may change the density value of the recognition suppression image displayed on the left display 131 so that the non-blind left eye can clearly recognize the recognition image. This is to prevent the deterioration of the perception of the left eye by securing the field of view of the non-weak eye on the left eye during the training for the right eye.
- the concentration value of the recognition image is in the training range instead of the concentration value of the recognition inhibition image. Except for changing from, it can be performed through the same operation as the operation of the training mode shown in FIG.
- the user's weak vision can be alternately changed between the recognition and non-recognition states of the recognition image, thereby improving the recognition power of the user and correcting the difference between the left and right eyes.
- the above-described training mode described a method of changing the density value of the recognition suppression image in order to display the recognition images in both eyes of the user and to change the recognition degree of any one recognition image. It may be performed by changing the density value of the recognition suppression image only for the weak eye.
- the controller 190 may block the field of view of the non weak field by turning off the power of the display corresponding to the non weak field.
