La présente invention porte sur un dispositif portable de sauvetage en eau qui comporte un corps principal de cadre (10) et un panneau de protection (20), ledit corps principal de cadre (10) comprenant de multiples supports en forme de barre (11) disposés en parallèle sur le même plan, une structure d'extension et de rétraction (12) et de multiples flotteurs de support (13) fixés sur les supports en forme de barre ; des supports en forme de barre adjacents (11) sont tous reliés les uns aux autres au moyen d'une structure d'extension et de rétraction (12) ; la structure d'extension et de rétraction (12) comprend une première tige de liaison (121) et une seconde tige de liaison (122) ; une extrémité de la première tige de liaison (121) est reliée de façon rotative à une extrémité de la seconde tige de liaison (122) ; une autre extrémité de la première tige de liaison (121) et une autre extrémité de la seconde tige de liaison (122) sont chacune reliées de manière rotative à un support en forme de barre différent (11) de deux supports en forme de barre adjacents (11) ; le panneau de protection (20) est disposé à une extrémité du corps principal de cadre (10) et est relié de façon coulissante aux supports en forme de barre (11). Le présent dispositif, au moyen de multiples unités de support reliées en séquence de manière à former un support en forme de barre, permet à l'ensemble du dispositif de se contracter dans la direction du raccord entre les unités de support lors du stockage, de diminuer les exigences d'espace de stockage, et, lors de l'utilisation, s'ouvre de sorte que davantage de passagers peuvent utiliser le dispositif.
