It is also possible to make the trajectory information correction unit 23B correct the plurality of trajectory information C21, C22, and C23 that have been corrected. In FIG. 4, for convenience of explanation, only the traveling lane L2 is shown.
- the travel track generation device is the same as the road definition information for defining the road itself including the travel lane divided by one or more lanes and the road definition information.
- a storage unit 11 for storing node information and link information for each traveling lane traveling in a direction, and a determination unit 23 for determining track information on a traveling route for each traveling lane based on the node information and the link information
- the determination unit 23 refers to the road definition information to determine whether or not a plurality of traveling lanes exist on the road corresponding to the track information, and the plurality of traveling lanes exist in the determination unit 23A.
- a track information correction unit 23B that corrects the track information for each traveling lane based on the road definition information, the node information, and the link information when it is determined that By providing, to provide an optimum running path for each lane.
- the storage unit 11 travels in the same direction according to road definition information (information defining the road itself including the guard rail R etc.) including one or more lanes (white line etc.) in advance (right-turn lane etc. are not controlled) It is assumed that the latest road information including node information and link information for each of the travel lanes L1, L2 and L3 is stored (step S1). In addition, information such as the current position at the time of traveling and the vehicle speed is sequentially acquired.
- Step S1 As described above, in step S1, the control unit 10 stores road information in the storage unit 11 (including updating and the like), and shifts to step S2.
- Step S2 the control unit 10 receives the setting input to the destination from the input operation of the input unit 12 by the user, and proceeds to step S3.
- step S3 the control unit 10 acquires the current position of the vehicle from the position information acquisition unit 15, and proceeds to step S4.
- the current position of the vehicle may be performed before step S2.
- Step S4 the control unit 10 causes the searching unit 21 to search for a guide route from the current position to the destination, and the process proceeds to step S5.
- Step S5 the control unit 10 determines whether or not the change of the guide route or the selection operation has been performed by the input operation of the input unit 12 by the user.
- the control unit 10 has changed the guidance route, for example, a selection operation when searching and guiding a plurality of traveling routes and a re-searching operation for searching for a route different from the recommended traveling route. If it is determined, the process loops to step S4 to search for another guidance route.
- the control unit 10 proceeds to step S6 when it is not determined that the guidance route has been changed, such as when there is an input operation related to the determination of the guidance route.
- Step S6 the control unit 10 determines, for example, whether or not the advanced driving support section set in advance in a predetermined area of the expressway or the like is included in the guidance route. If the control unit 10 determines that the advanced driving support section is included in the guidance route, the control unit 10 proceeds to step S7 in order to utilize the track information for each traveling lane by the determination unit 23. When it is not determined that the advanced driving assistance section is included in the guidance route, the control unit 10 skips to step S8.
- Step S7 the control unit 10 causes the determination unit 23 to execute a trajectory information determination routine including determination of trajectory information, and when this routine ends, the process proceeds to step S8.
- the track information is determined based on the width center of the one-lane. If the road width is narrow (for example, 4 m or less) even if it is a one-way road or a bidirectional road, track information is determined centering on the road width.
- track information is determined for each traveling lane centered on the lane width of each traveling lane.
- the control unit 10 determines the track information. Accordingly, when determining the track information, the control unit 10 (determination unit 23) acquires the road width and the lane width from the road definition information. At this time, when the node information and the link information are at the road width center or the lane width center, the control unit 10 (determination unit 23) does not use the road definition information as the essential information.
- Step S8 the control unit 10 performs a routine including a display information generation step of causing the monitor 22 to display map information and route guidance information based on the position of the vehicle currently traveling on the basis of the determined guidance route, for example. Execute until the destination is reached and end this routine.
- Step S71 the determination unit 23 determines track information on the traveling route for each traveling lane in the guidance route based on the node information and the link information stored in the storage unit 11, and the determination unit 23A It is determined whether or not a plurality of traveling lanes exist on the road corresponding to the track information determined with reference to the stored road definition information, and the process proceeds to step S72. If the determination unit 23A determines that there are a plurality of traveling lanes, the process proceeds to step S72. If the determination unit 23A does not determine that there are a plurality of traveling lanes, the routine ends and correction of the track information is not performed.
- step S72 the determination unit 23 causes the determination unit 23A to determine whether there is a curve road with reference to the node information and link information stored in the storage unit 11. If the determination unit 23 determines that the curved road is present, the determination unit 23 proceeds to step S73. If the determination unit 23 determines that the curve road is not present, the determination unit 23A ends this routine and does not correct the trajectory information.
- step S73 the determination unit 23 refers to, for example, the node information and link information stored in the storage unit 11, and acquires the curvature of the curved road, and proceeds to step S74.
- the determination unit 23 may calculate the curvature of the curve road with reference to the node information and the link information stored in the storage unit 11, or the curvature of the curve is included in the road definition information in units of traveling lanes. You may refer to it.
- the determination unit 23A not only acquires the presence or absence of the curve or the curvature, but also from the traveling lane (including the traveling lane for oncoming vehicles) adjacent on the same road based on the node information and the link information. It may be determined at the same time whether the vehicle is a curve that easily protrudes, that is, whether the curvature of the curved road is large (a sharp curve with a small radius of curvature).
- step S74 the determination unit 23 causes the trajectory information correction unit 23B to correct the trajectory information for each traveling lane based on the road definition information, the node information, and the link information stored in the storage unit 11, and ends this routine.
- the correction includes the case where the correction is not made due to the surrounding environment or the like.
- the track information correction unit 23B determines that the curve road is present by the determination unit 23A in step S72, the track information for each traveling lane is displayed at the entry point and exit point of the curve road (right • Left-hand) It can be corrected in consideration of the vehicle position and curvature.
- the track information correction unit 23B can correct the track position so as to be the entry point and exit point where the curvature of the curve track in the same traveling lane L1, L2, L3 with respect to the curve road is changed.
- the entry point and exit point, and the middle point (curve peak) are indicated by black points in FIGS. 2 and 3.
- the other vehicle may move the curvature of the curve track in the same traveling lane L1, L2, L3 with respect to the curve road. Trajectory information can be corrected so that the entry point and exit point are changed so as not to go to the easy lane side.
- the track information correction unit 23B does not overlap the corrected track information in the safe travel area set in advance according to the road definition information corresponding to the travel lanes L1, L2, L3 on both sides of each travel lane L1, L2, L3. Based on the limit value, it is possible to correct the track position so as to be the entry point and exit point where the curvature of the curve track in the same traveling lane L1, L2, L3 for the curve road is changed.
- the safe travel area does not, of course, extend beyond the travel lane in which the host vehicle is traveling, but, for example, the host vehicle has a lane width according to the direction of the curve (right turn, left turn). It can be determined in consideration of various surrounding environments when approaching from the center to one side. Specifically, when the vehicle approaches one side from the center of the lane width, the surrounding environment existing on the approach side is the traveling lane in which the other vehicle travels in the same direction, and the other opposite in the opposite direction. It is assumed that the space is like a traveling lane on which a vehicle travels and a road shoulder. In addition to such spaces, it is assumed that there are objects such as guardrails, median dividers, walls such as private houses, and parks.
- the safe travel area for example, by the distance between the door mirror of the own vehicle and the surrounding environment, etc. .
- the separation distances do not have to be the same.
- other vehicles are traveling in parallel in the traveling lane adjacent to the traveling lane where the own vehicle travels in the safe traveling region, or traveling adjacent to the traveling lane where the own vehicle travels
- an oncoming vehicle is traveling in reverse on the lane, for example, a direction in which the distance from the other vehicle is greater than when the presence of the other vehicle is confirmed by the real-time image acquired from the on-vehicle camera
- working area can be included.
- the track information correction unit 23B stores the corrected track information in the storage unit 11 as part of the road information, so that it is not necessary to correct the track information after the next time.
- the track information correction unit 23B performs track information based on the width center of the travel lanes L1, L2, and L3 set in advance for each of a plurality of travel lanes L1, L2, and L3 on the same curved road from the same or different entry points.
- a plurality of trajectory information corrected so as to be a plurality of trajectory positions leading to the exit point is generated, and each of the corrected plurality of trajectory information is a part of road information corresponding to the same traveling lane L1, L2, L3. May be stored in the storage unit 11 as
- the traveling track generation device has the effect of being able to provide an optimum traveling track for each traveling lane, and determines a traveling route based on node information and link information. It is useful to traveling track generation devices in general.

Abstract
