Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verkehrssystem mit einer Flotte von selbstfahrenden Fahrzeugen zum Transport von Personen und/oder Paketen innerhalb eines abgegrenzten Gebietes, ein selbstfahrendes Fahrzeug zum Einsatz innerhalb eines solchen Verkehrssystems sowie ein Steuerungsverfahren eines Verkehrssystems mit einer Flotte von selbstfahrenden Fahrzeugen. Um ein Verkehrssystem zu schaffen, das insbesondere im Stadtverkehr eine kostengünstige und individuelle Mobilität für Personen und/oder Pakete ermöglicht, wird erfindungsgemäß eine Fahrzeugsteuerung mit einer dem einzelnen Fahrzeug zugeordneten Onboard-Einheit und einem Zentralrechner vorgeschlagen, der mit allen Fahrzeugen der Flotte verbunden ist, wobei die Fahrzeugdynamik eines einzelnen Fahrzeugs durch die Onboard-Einheit geregelt wird und die Navigation sowie die Integration eines einzelnen Fahrzeugs in den Verkehrs sowohl von der Onboard-Einheit als auch von dem Zentralrechner gesteuert wird.
