Abstract

본 발명은 다양한 방향과 크기에 전기적으로 감지하여 측정할 수 있으면서 인쇄 가능한 변형 센서용 소재 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 탄성중합체 및 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 포함하며, 상기그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체는 아민기로 표면 기능화된 탄소나노튜브의 아민기에 그래핀 산화물이 결합된 것을 특징으로 한다.

Description

인쇄가 가능한 변형 센서용 소재
본 발명은 변형 센서용 소재에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 인쇄가 가능하고, 다양한 방향과 크기를 전기적으로 감지하여 측정할 수 있으면서 인쇄 가능한 변형 센서용 소재 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
변형 센서(strain sensor)는 센서에 가해지는 인장, 굽힘 또는 뒤틀림 등의 물리적 변화를 감지하는 센서를 말한다. 이는 물리적 변화를 감지하는 특성을 이용하는 다양한 분야에 적용이 가능하다. 일예로, 손가락 및 발가락의 움직임 변화를 감지하는 모션 센서에서 운동 중 신체 관절 및 근육의 이완과 수축 정도, 운동량 등을 체크할 수 있는 스마트 운동복에 이르기까지 다양한 형태로 활용될 수 있다. 또한, 인간의 움직임을 감지하는 것에 제한되지 않고, 대면적의 변형 센서 집합체부터 설비 장치의 미세 균열 감지기 등에 다양한 분야에서 활용이 가능하다.
종래의 변형 센서로는 금속 박막을 이용한 센서가 있다. 이는 금속에 가해지는 물리적 변화에 의해 발생하는 저항변화를 측정하여 변형을 감지할 수 있는 센서이다. 하지만, 금속 박막을 이용한 변형 센서는 특성상 대면적 구현이 어렵고, 압력 또는 변형의 크기를 감지할 수 있는 감도가 매우 낮아 성능에 한계가 있다.
한편, 고분자와 탄소나노튜브를 결합시킨 복합체 형태로 고분자 매트릭스 내 탄소나노튜브의 네트워크 전도 특성을 이용하여 압력 또는 변형 등의 외부 변화로 인한 전도도 변화를 활용하는 연구가 진행되고 있지만 탄소나노튜브 네트워크를 통한 전도도의 형성이 불안정하고, 압력 또는 변형의 크기를 감지하는 감도가 매우 낮은 문제점이 있다.
상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 발명은 유연성이 뛰어나고, 압력 및 변형 등의 물리적인 변화에 민감하게 반응하면서도 안정적인 전기전도도를 구현할 수 있는 인쇄 가능한 저항변화 기반의 변형센서용 소재 및 이의 제조방법을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명의 일 양태는 탄성중합체 및 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 포함하며, 상기 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체는 아민기로 표면 기능화된 탄소나노튜브의 아민기에 그래핀 산화물이 결합된 것을 특징으로 하는 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 일 양태는 유연성 기재 및 상기 유연성 기재의 적어도 일면에 탄성중합체 및 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 포함하는 페이스트 조성물을 도포하여 형성되는 변형센서용 복합소재에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 일 양태는 (a) 아민화 탄소나노튜브를 함유한 수분산액을 초음파 처리한 후 그래핀 산화물 용액과 혼합하는 단계,
(b) 아민화 탄소나노튜브 및 그래핀 산화물 혼합물을 원심분리를 이용하여 수득한 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 건조시키는 단계,
(c) 건조시킨 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 분말화한 후, 탄성중합체를 유기용매에 녹인 용액에 넣고 혼합하는 단계
를 포함하는 변형소재용 페이스트 조성물의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 변형소재용 페이스트 조성물은 탄성중합체와 특정 성분이 결합된 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 혼합하여 사용함으로써 탄성중합체 내 전도성 물질이 균질하게 분산되며, 변형의 크기 및 방향성 전기적으로 감지하는 민감성을 획기적으로 향상시킬 수 있는 이점이 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 변형소재용 페이스트 조성물은 인쇄가 용이하여 3차원 프린팅을 이용한 성형에도 적용이 가능하므로 다양한 분야에 활용이 높은 이점이 있다.
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 실시예 1에서 제조된 필름의 연신율에 따른 저항 변화를 나타낸 것이다.
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 실시예 1에서 제조된 필름의 50% 연신율의 반복형태변형시 저항 변화를 나타낸 것이다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 실시예 3에서 제조된 페이스트 조성물을 이용하여 제조된 3차원 프린팅 구조물의 이미지를 나타낸 것이다.

상기 표 1에서 볼 수 있는 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 실시예들은 저항변화율이 우수하며, 이는 변형에 대한 감도가 뛰어남을 확인할 수 있다. 반면, 비교예들은 필름 자체가 균열이 발생하여 저항측정이 불가하였다.
또한, 도 1은 실시예 1에 따른 필름의 연신율에 따른 저항 변화를 나타낸 것으로서, 변형의 크기에 따른 민감성이 획기적으로 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 50% 연신율의 반복 형태 변형시에도 도 2에서 볼 수 있는 바와 같이, 안정적인 저항변화를 나타내 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.
또한, 도 3은 실시예 3에서 제조된 페이스트 조성물을 이용하여 제조된 3차원 프린팅 구조물을 나타낸 것으로, 형태에 제한없이 복잡한 구조 형상도 인쇄가 가능한 것을 확인하였다.
이상에서 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 설명하였으나, 본 발명은 다양한 변화와 변경 및 균등물을 사용할 수 있으며, 상기 실시예를 적절히 변형하여 동일하게 응용할 수 있음이 명확하다. 따라서 상기 기재 내용은 하기 특허청구범위의 한계에 의해 정해지는 본 발명의 범위를 한정하는 것이 아니다.

Claims (11)

  1. 탄성중합체 및 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 포함하며,
    상기 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체는 아민기로 표면 기능화된 탄소나노튜브의 아민기에 그래핀 산화물이 결합된 것을 특징으로 하는 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체는 그래핀이 0.01 내지 0.2중량% 포함되는 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 조성물은 탄성중합체 100중량부에 대하여 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체가 20 내지 60 중량부 포함되는 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 아민기로 표면 기능화된 탄소나노튜브는 질소/탄소의 중량비가 0.005 내지 0.045인 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물.
  5. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 탄성중합체는 스티렌계 블록 공중합체는 스티렌-부틸렌-스티렌(SBS)계 블록 공중합체, 스티렌-이소프렌-스티렌(SIS)계 블록 공중합체, 스티렌-에틸렌-부틸렌-스티렌(SEBS)계 블록 공중합체, 스티렌-에틸렌-부틸렌-스티렌-그래프트-말레산무수물(SEBSm)계 블록 공중합체 및 스티렌-에틸렌-프로필렌-스티렌(SEPS)계 블록 공중합체로 이루어진 스티렌계 블록 공중합체 중에서 선택되는 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상인 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물.
  6. 유연성 기재 및 상기 유연성 기재의 적어도 일면에 탄성중합체 및 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 포함하는 페이스트 조성물을 도포하여 형성되는 변형센서용 복합소재.
  7. (a) 아민화 탄소나노튜브를 함유한 수분산액을 초음파 처리한 후 그래핀 산화물 용액과 혼합하는 단계,
    (b) 아민화 탄소나노튜브 및 그래핀 산화물 혼합물을 원심분리를 이용하여 수득한 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 건조시키는 단계,
    (c) 건조시킨 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체를 분말화한 후, 탄성중합체를 유기용매에 녹인 용액에 넣고 혼합하는 단계
    를 포함하는 변형소재용 페이스트 조성물의 제조방법.
  8. 제 7항에 있어서,
    상기 아민화 탄소나노튜브는 탄소나노튜브, 아민계 화합물 및 산무수물을 포함하는 탄소나노튜브 함유 용액을 반응시켜 아민기로 표면이 기능화된 것을 특징으로 하는 변형소재용 페이스트 조성물의 제조방법.
  9. 제 8항에 있어서,
    산무수물은 다환 방향족 고리형 산무수물인 것을 특징으로 하는 연성전극용 페이스트 조성물의 제조방법.
  10. 제 7항에 있어서,
    상기 (b) 아민화 탄소나노튜브 및 그래핀 산화물 혼합물은 그래핀 산화물이 0.01 내지 10중량% 포함되는 것인 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물의 제조방법.
  11. 제 7항에 있어서,
    상기 그래핀-아민화 탄소나노튜브 복합체는 평균입경이 0.1 내지 30㎛인 것으로 분말화를 실시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 변형센서용 페이스트 조성물의 제조방법.
