- the strain sensor refers to a sensor that senses a physical change such as tension, bending, or distortion applied to the sensor, and is applicable to various industries using the characteristic of detecting the physical change. It can be used as a motion sensor that detects changes in movement of fingers and toes, and smart sportswear that can check the degree of relaxation and contraction of the body joints and muscles, and the amount of exercise during exercise. In addition to detecting human movements, it can be used in various fields such as manufacturing large-area strain sensor arrays and micro crack detectors in equipment facilities by adjusting sensitivity and specifications.

- a metal resistive wire with high resistivity is fixed on the insulator substrate with an adhesive, and the lead wire is connected to the terminal with adhesive on one or both sides of the object to be measured, and the strain of the object is measured and converted into electrical resistance.
- resistive foils are made of the same type of alloy instead of a resistive wire, which is called a metal resistive strain gage.
- Deformation sensor using a metal thin film is difficult to realize a large area due to its characteristics, and it is difficult to be used as a sensor for detecting human movement because of low sensitivity.
- the conventional deformation sensor has a disadvantage that the error of the detection result according to the speed at which deformation occurs.
- the deformation sensor using the metal thin film can be used only in the deformation range of about 3% or less, and the gauge constant (G) value indicating the sensitivity is about 2 degrees.
- the maximum elbow and knee deformation of the human body is about 50%, the wrist, ankle or neck part up to about 20%, the finger joints up to about 30% deformation. Since the deformation sensor using the conventional metal thin film has a detection range of 3% or less, there is a limit to use it in a device worn or attached to the body.

- the most essential part of the present invention is to form a concave-convex structure on the surface of the second elastic layer 130 to form a different thickness of the strain detection sensor along the deformation direction. Therefore, even when the first elastic layer 110 is absent, it is possible to operate as the deformation sensor.
- the second elastic layer 130 may be formed of a ridge 131 and a valley 132 to form an unevenness.

- the planar strain sensor which has the same thickness as that of the bone part, when the same strain is present, the planar strain sensor generally performs the same deformation, whereas the uneven deformation sensor concentrates the deformation on the bone part. Therefore, the deformation amount of the planar deformation sensor of the same thickness is greater than the deformation amount, and thus the resistance change amount is increased, and the sensor detecting the deformation amount by using the same may increase its sensitivity.

- the object of the present invention is to form the unevenness on the surface of the elastic layer, and when the deformation occurs in the lateral direction to use the principle that the amount of deformation increases than the planar deformation sensor without the unevenness in the present embodiment the electrodes 221, 222 ) Is attached to the upper and lower portions of the uneven portion to achieve the above object of the present invention. That is, when the deformation in the lateral direction is made, the degree of deformation of the measurement object may be measured by measuring a change in resistance or a change in capacitance between the electrodes 221 and 222. Unlike the previous embodiment, the deformation detection sensor 200 can omit a process of forming a separate layer, so manufacturing is simple.
- the deformation sensor 200 is basically an elastic body in which a conductive material is evenly distributed therein, and irregularities are formed on one surface of the electrode 210 and the electrodes 221 and 222 attached to the side of the surface on which the irregularities are formed. It includes.
- the deformation sensor 200 measures a change in resistance or capacitance between the electrodes 221 and 222 before and after deformation, thereby measuring the change of the measurement target. Detect the degree of deformation.
- the key point in this embodiment is to form a concave-convex structure on the surface of the body 210 to form a different thickness of the strain detection sensor along the deformation direction.
- One surface of the body 210 may be formed of a floor 211 and a valley 212 to form an unevenness.
- the floor portion 211 corresponds to a thick portion of the deformation sensor and the valley portion 212 corresponds to a thin portion of the deformation sensor.
- the planar strain sensor which has the same thickness as the thickness of the valley portion 212, when the same strain is present, the planar strain sensor generally undergoes the same deformation, whereas the uneven deformation sensor has Because the concentration is concentrated in the portion is more than the amount of deformation of the planar deformation sensor of the same thickness and the resistance change is increased accordingly, the sensor for detecting the amount of deformation using this can increase the sensitivity.

- the height (H 1 ) of the upper portion of the conductive layer is 50 ⁇ m.
- a strain detecting sensor having an uneven structure was manufactured as an example of the invention.

- the PDMS was again prepared by spin coating.
- the thickness of the illustrated conductive layer is slightly exaggerated to indicate this, and the actual thickness is about a sub micro unit.
- the strain and strain acting on the strain sensor were measured while varying the width and height of the valleys and floors of the strain sensor thus manufactured. Tensile tests were performed on the planar strain sensor and the uneven strain sensor so that the strain rate of the total strain sensor was 28%. At this time, the strain and stress were measured by changing the heights of the floors and valleys of the uneven strain sensor. The results are shown in Table 1 below. At this time, the ratio of the width of the valley part and the floor part of the deformation sensor is 1: 2.5.
- the strain rate is constant at 28%, so the resistance change rate is determined accordingly.
- the uneven strain sensor is measured at this time even if the strain is 28% because the strain concentrates on the bone part. Is larger than the resistance change rate of the planar strain sensor. As the resistance change rate is largely measured in the same deformation range, the sensitivity of the deformation sensor is improved.
- the width of the floor of the strain sensor was measured the stress acting on the strain. Tensile tests were performed on the planar strain sensor and the uneven strain sensor so that the strain of the overall strain sensor was 28%. At this time, the strain and the stress were measured by varying the widths of the floors and valleys of the uneven strain sensor. Is shown in Table 2 below.
