 従来、異なる周波数帯域を利用した複数の通信信号を共通アンテナで送受信する、複数の通過帯域を有するフィルタ装置が各種提案されている。例えば、下記の特許文献1には、ラダー型フィルタを有するフィルタ装置の一例が記載されている。ラダー型フィルタは、信号端子と直列腕共振子との間に接続されたインダクタを有する。他方、アンテナ端子とグラウンド電位との間には、1つのインダクタが接続されている。アンテナ端子に接続されたインダクタと、ラダー型フィルタのインダクタとは、電磁界結合している。これにより、阻止帯域における減衰量が大きくされている。
特開2014-180060号公報
 しかし、特許文献1に記載のフィルタ装置では、インダクタを含むラダー型フィルタを複数有する場合には十分対応することができなかった。すなわち、複数のラダー型フィルタが有する複数のインダクタと、アンテナ端子に接続されたインダクタとを電磁界結合すると、アンテナ端子に接続されたインダクタを介して、複数のラダー型フィルタのインダクタ間で不要な結合が生じ、アイソレーション特性が劣化するおそれがある。さらに、アンテナ端子に接続されたインダクタと、各インダクタとの結合係数を調整することが困難となる。
 本発明の目的は、アイソレーション特性を改善することができ、かつ結合係数を容易に調整することができる、フィルタ装置を提供することにある。
 本発明に係るフィルタ装置は、アンテナに接続されるアンテナ端子と、前記アンテナ端子とグラウンド電位との間に接続されており、かつ並列分割された複数のインダクタである、複数の第1のインダクタと、前記アンテナ端子に共通接続されており、かつそれぞれ第2のインダクタを有する複数の帯域通過型フィルタとを備え、前記複数の第1のインダクタと前記複数の第2のインダクタとが、それぞれ主に1対1で電磁界結合している。
 本発明に係るフィルタ装置のある特定の局面では、前記複数の第1のインダクタの間が電磁シールドされている。この場合には、並列分割された第1のインダクタが互いに電磁界結合することを効果的に抑制することができる。よって、アイソレーション特性をより一層改善することができる。
 本発明に係るフィルタ装置の他の特定の局面では、少なくとも1つの前記第2のインダクタが、グラウンド電位に接続されている。この場合には、アイソレーション特性を効果的に改善することができる。
 本発明に係るフィルタ装置のさらに他の特定の局面では、少なくとも1つの前記第2のインダクタが、グラウンド電位に接続されていないインダクタを含む。この場合には、アイソレーション特性を効果的に改善することができる。
 本発明に係るフィルタ装置の別の特定の局面では、少なくとも1つの前記帯域通過型フィルタが、ラダー型フィルタである。
 本発明に係るフィルタ装置のさらに別の特定の局面では、少なくとも1つの前記帯域通過型フィルタが、縦結合共振子型弾性波フィルタである。
 本発明に係るフィルタ装置のさらに別の特定の局面では、複数の前記帯域通過型フィルタを含む3つ以上の帯域通過型フィルタが、前記アンテナ端子に共通接続されている。この場合には、アイソレーション特性を効果的に改善することができる。
 本発明によれば、アイソレーション特性を改善することができ、かつ結合係数を容易に調整することができる、フィルタ装置を提供することができる。

 以下、図面を参照しつつ、本発明の具体的な実施形態を説明することにより、本発明を明らかにする。
 なお、本明細書に記載の各実施形態は、例示的なものであり、異なる実施形態間において、構成の部分的な置換または組み合わせが可能であることを指摘しておく。
 図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係るフィルタ装置の模式的回路図である。
 フィルタ装置1は、アンテナに接続されるアンテナ端子3を有する。フィルタ装置1は、アンテナ端子3に共通接続されている第1~第4の弾性波フィルタ2a~2dを有する。アンテナ端子3とグラウンド電位との間には、並列分割された、第1のインダクタL1a及び第1のインダクタL1bが接続されている。第1のインダクタL1a,L1bは、インピーダンス整合用のインダクタである。
 本実施形態では、第1の弾性波フィルタ2aは、Band3の送信帯域である1710MHz以上、1785MHz以下の通過帯域を有する送信フィルタである。第2の弾性波フィルタ2bは、Band1の受信帯域である2110MHz以上、2170MHz以下の通過帯域を有する受信フィルタである。第3の弾性波フィルタ2cは、Band1の送信帯域である1920MHz以上、1980MHz以下の通過帯域を有する送信フィルタである。第4の弾性波フィルタ2dは、Band3の受信帯域である1805MHz以上、1880MHz以下の通過帯域を有する受信フィルタである。なお、第1~第4の弾性波フィルタ2a~2dの通過帯域は、上記に限定されない。
 第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bは、ラダー型フィルタである。図1においてブロック図で示す第3,第4の弾性波フィルタ2c,2dの構成は特に限定されない。
 第1の弾性波フィルタ2aは入力端子4を有する。第1の弾性波フィルタ2aは、入力端子4とアンテナ端子3との間に互いに直列に接続された直列腕共振子S1~S4及びグラウンド電位に接続された並列腕共振子P1~P4を有する。第1の弾性波フィルタ2aは、並列腕共振子P1とグラウンド電位との間に接続された第2のインダクタL2aを有する。図1中の破線で示すように、第2のインダクタL2aは、第1のインダクタL1aと電磁界結合されている。
 第2の弾性波フィルタ2bは、出力端子5を有する。第2の弾性波フィルタ2bは、アンテナ端子3と出力端子5との間に互いに直列に接続された直列腕共振子S11~S15及びグラウンド電位に接続された並列腕共振子P11~P15を有する。第2の弾性波フィルタ2bは、並列腕共振子P15とグラウンド電位との間に接続された第2のインダクタL12bを有する。図1中の破線で示すように、第2のインダクタL12bは、第1のインダクタL1bと電磁界結合されている。本実施形態のように、第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとの間が電磁シールドされていることが好ましい。第1のインダクタL1aのインダクタンスは、特に限定されないが、3.24nHである。第1のインダクタL1bのインダクタンスは、特に限定されないが、3.24nHである。なお、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bの回路構成の詳細は後述する。
 本実施形態の特徴は、以下のように構成されていることにある。1)第1のインダクタL1a,L1bが並列分割されている。2)第1のインダクタL1aが第2のインダクタL2aに主に電磁界結合されており、かつ第1のインダクタL1bが第2のインダクタL12bに主に電磁界結合されている。それによって、アイソレーション特性を改善することができ、かつ結合係数を容易に調整することができる。これを、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bの構成の詳細と共に説明する。
 第1の弾性波フィルタ2aにおいては、入力端子4と直列腕共振子S1との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P1が接続されている。直列腕共振子S1と直列腕共振子S2との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P2が接続されている。直列腕共振子S2と直列腕共振子S3との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P3が接続されている。直列腕共振子S3と直列腕共振子S4との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P4が接続されている。
 並列腕共振子P1とグラウンド電位との間には、上記第2のインダクタL2aが接続されている。並列腕共振子P2とグラウンド電位との間には、第3のインダクタL3aが接続されている。並列腕共振子P3とグラウンド電位との間には、第3のインダクタL3bが接続されている。並列腕共振子P4とグラウンド電位との間には、第3のインダクタL3cが接続されている。
 第2の弾性波フィルタ2bにおいては、直列腕共振子S11と直列腕共振子S12との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P11が接続されている。直列腕共振子S12と直列腕共振子S13との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P12が接続されている。直列腕共振子S13と直列腕共振子S14との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P13が接続されている。直列腕共振子S14と直列腕共振子S15との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P14が接続されている。直列腕共振子S15と出力端子5との間の接続点とグラウンド電位との間に、並列腕共振子P15が接続されている。
 並列腕共振子P11とグラウンド電位との間には、第3のインダクタL13aが接続されている。並列腕共振子P12とグラウンド電位との間には、第3のインダクタL13bが接続されている。並列腕共振子P13,P14のグラウンド電位側の端部は、第3のインダクタL13cに共通接続されている。第3のインダクタL13cはグラウンド電位に接続されている。並列腕共振子P15とグラウンド電位との間には、上記第2のインダクタL12bが接続されている。
 ここで、本実施形態においては、上述したように、第1のインダクタL1aが第2のインダクタL2aに主に電磁界結合されている。それによって、アンテナ端子3に不要な信号が伝達されることを抑制することができる。他方、第1のインダクタL1bが第2のインダクタL12bに主に電磁界結合されている。それによって、出力端子5から不要な信号が出力されることを抑制することができる。従って、アイソレーション特性を効果的に改善することができる。
 なお、第1のインダクタL1aが第2のインダクタL2に主に電磁界結合されている旨の表現における主には、第1のインダクタL1aが、第2のインダクタL2aと電磁界結合されているが、他の第2のインダクタにも第2のインダクタL2aとの電磁界結合よりも弱いが電磁界結合されている構成を含むものである。すなわち、本発明においては、複数の第1のインダクタと複数の第2のインダクタとが、それぞれ主に1対1で電磁界結合しているが、この主に1対1で電磁界結合しているとは、第1のインダクタが、1対1で電磁界結合している第2のインダクタ以外の第2のインダクタとも1対1で電磁界結合している該当の第2のインダクタよりも弱く電磁界結合している構成をも含むものである。言い換えれば、主に1対1で電磁界結合しているとは、複数の第1のインダクタのそれぞれが、複数の第2のインダクタと最も強く電磁界結合する一組の組み合わせを有し、複数の第1のインダクタのそれぞれが、最も強く電磁界結合している第2のインダクタ以外の第2のインダクタと電磁界結合していてもよいことを意味する。
 さらに、第1のインダクタL1a,L1bが並列分割されている。それによって、第1のインダクタL1a,L1bの合計のインダクタンスを最適な値とした状態において、第1のインダクタL1a及び第1のインダクタL1bのインダクタンスをそれぞれ調整することができる。よって、上記の最適な状態において、第1のインダクタL1aと第2のインダクタL2aとの結合係数を調整することができ、かつ第1のインダクタL1bと第2のインダクタL12bとの結合係数を調整することもできる。
 本実施形態では、第1のインダクタL1aと第2のインダクタL2aとの結合係数は、-0.0017である。第1のインダクタL1bと第2のインダクタL12bとの結合係数は、-0.0037である。このように、フィルタ装置1において、結合係数を容易に、かつ好適に調整することができる。
 第1の弾性波フィルタ2aは、第1のインダクタL1aと電磁界結合している第2のインダクタL2aを有していればよく、回路構成は特に限定されない。同様に、第2の弾性波フィルタ2bは、第1のインダクタL1bと電磁界結合している第2のインダクタL12bを有していればよく、回路構成は特に限定されない。
 本実施形態の効果を、比較例と比較することにより、より詳細に説明する。
 図2は、比較例のフィルタ装置の模式的回路図である。
 比較例のフィルタ装置101は、アンテナ端子3とグラウンド電位に接続されたインダクタL101を1つのみ有する点で、第1の実施形態と異なる。インダクタL101は、第1の弾性波フィルタ2aの第2のインダクタL2aと電磁界結合している。
 図3は、第1の実施形態及び比較例における第1,第4の弾性波フィルタのアイソレーション特性を示す図である。図4は、第1の実施形態及び比較例における第2,第3の弾性波フィルタのアイソレーション特性を示す図である。図5は、第1の実施形態及び比較例における第3,第4の弾性波フィルタのクロス-アイソレーション特性を示す図である。図6は、第1の実施形態及び比較例における第1,第2の弾性波フィルタのクロス-アイソレーション特性を示す図である。実線は第1の実施形態の結果を示し、破線は比較例の結果を示す。なお、クロス-アイソレーション特性とは、異なるBand間のアイソレーション特性を指す。
 図3に示すように、第1,第4の弾性波フィルタにおけるアイソレーション特性は、比較例と比較して、第1の実施形態において改善されていることがわかる。図4に示すように、第2,第3の弾性波フィルタにおけるアイソレーション特性も、第1の実施形態において改善されていることがわかる。図5に示すように、第3,第4の弾性波フィルタにおけるクロス-アイソレーション特性は、第1の実施形態及び比較例において同等である。図6に示すように、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタにおけるクロス-アイソレーション特性は、比較例と比較して、第1の実施形態において改善されていることがわかる。
 比較例では、図2に示すように、電磁界結合しているインダクタが第1の弾性波フィルタ2aにおける第2のインダクタL2a及びインダクタL101のみであるため、アイソレーション特性を十分に高めることができていない。
 これに対して、本実施形態では、図1に示すように、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bにおける第2のインダクタL2a,L12bが、第1のインダクタL1a,L1bとそれぞれ1対1で電磁界結合している。それによって、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bにおいて帯域外減衰量を大きくすることでき、アイソレーション特性を効果的に改善することができる。
 なお、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bにおいては、電磁界結合を用いることにより、特に通過帯域の高域側において、帯域外減衰量をより一層大きくすることができる。
 図5及び図6に示したように、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bと、第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2b以外の弾性波フィルタとにおけるアイソレーション特性を改善することができる。よって、本発明は、弾性波フィルタを3つ以上有する場合において、特に好適に適用することができる。
 本実施形態のように、通過帯域が互いに異なるBandである第1,第2の弾性波フィルタ2a,2bが、上記のように電磁界結合している第2のインダクタL2a,L12bを有することが好ましい。それによって、クロス-アイソレーション特性を効果的に改善することができる。
 送信フィルタにおいては、第2のインダクタL2aは、入力端子4とグラウンド電位との間に接続されたインダクタであることが好ましい。それによって、インピーダンス整合を効果的に改善することができる。受信フィルタにおいては、第2のインダクタL12bは、出力端子5とグラウンド電位との間に接続されたインダクタであることが好ましい。それによって、インピーダンス整合を効果的に改善することができる。
 なお、第1のインダクタL1a,L1bと電磁界結合されている第2のインダクタL2a,L12bの配置は、上記に限定されない。
 第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとの間は、電磁シールドされていることが好ましい。それによって、第1のインダクタL1a,L1bが電磁界結合することを効果的に抑制することができる。よって、アイソレーション特性をより一層改善することができる。
 第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとの間が電磁シールドされている構成は、特に限定されない。例えば、図7に示すように、第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとが同じ基板上に設けられている場合には、第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとの間に、配線7を配置することにより、電磁シールドしてもよい。図8に示すように、フィルタ装置が素子8と、素子8が搭載された積層体とを有する場合には、第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとを異なる層に配置することにより、電磁シールドしてもよい。このとき、第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとの間に金属層9が設けられていることが好ましい。それによって、第1のインダクタL1aと第1のインダクタL1bとを、より一層確実に電磁シールドすることができる。
 なお、3つ以上の弾性波フィルタが第2のインダクタを有していてもよい。各第2のインダクタが、3つ以上に並列分割された各第1のインダクタと1対1で電磁界結合していてもよい。この場合においても、アイソレーション特性を効果的に高めることができる。
 もっとも、本実施形態においては、2つの第1のインダクタL1a,L1bを有していればよいため、上記の効果を得ることができ、かつ小型化を図ることもできる。
 図9に示す第1の実施形態の第1の変形例のように、第1の弾性波フィルタにおいては、第2のインダクタL22aは、直列腕共振子S1と入力端子4との間に接続されたインダクタであってもよい。このように、フィルタ装置における複数の第2のインダクタは、グラウンド電位に直接接続されていない第2のインダクタL22aを含んでいてもよい。
 図10に示す第1の実施形態の第2の変形例のように、第1の弾性波フィルタ32aは、縦結合共振子型弾性波フィルタ36を有していてもよい。この場合においても、第1のインダクタL1aと第2のインダクタL2aとが電磁界結合していればよい。なお、図10においては、第1の弾性波フィルタ32aの一部をブロック図で示す。
 フィルタ装置は、弾性波フィルタ以外の複数のフィルタにより構成されていてもよい。この場合においても、並列分割された複数の第1のインダクタと複数の第2のインダクタとが、それぞれ主に1対1で電磁界結合していればよい。

Claims (7)

  1.  アンテナに接続されるアンテナ端子と、
     前記アンテナ端子とグラウンド電位との間に接続されており、かつ並列分割された複数のインダクタである、複数の第1のインダクタと、
     前記アンテナ端子に共通接続されており、かつそれぞれ第2のインダクタを有する複数の帯域通過型フィルタと、
    を備え、
     前記複数の第1のインダクタと前記複数の第2のインダクタとが、それぞれ主に1対1で電磁界結合している、フィルタ装置。
  2.  前記複数の第1のインダクタの間が電磁シールドされている、請求項1に記載のフィルタ装置。
  3.  少なくとも1つの前記第2のインダクタが、グラウンド電位に接続されている、請求項1または2に記載のフィルタ装置。
  4.  少なくとも1つの前記第2のインダクタが、グラウンド電位に接続されていないインダクタを含む、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のフィルタ装置。
  5.  少なくとも1つの前記帯域通過型フィルタが、ラダー型フィルタである、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のフィルタ装置。
  6.  少なくとも1つの前記帯域通過型フィルタが、縦結合共振子型弾性波フィルタである、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のフィルタ装置。
  7.  複数の前記帯域通過型フィルタを含む3つ以上の帯域通過型フィルタが、前記アンテナ端子に共通接続されている、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のフィルタ装置。
