Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Hologrammen zur Kodierung in einer räumlichen Lichtmodulationseinrichtung für ein holographisches Display zur Darstellung einer zwei und/oder dreidimensionalen Szene. Die zwei und/oder dreidimensionale Szene wird dabei in Objektpunkte zerlegt und in einem in Subhologramme unterteilten Hologramm in der räumlichen Lichtmodulationseinrichtung kodiert. Die Objektpunkte der Szene werden in Kodierbereichen auf der räumlichen Lichtmodulationseinrichtung kodiert. Eine Größe und/oder eine Form des Kodierbereichs wird derart im Vergleich zu einer Größe und/oder Form eines, dem Kodierbereich zugeordneten Subhologramms gewählt, dass ein Übersprechen von höheren Beugungsordnungen in einem virtuellen Sichtbarkeitsbereich verringert wird.
