Description

A process of production of new plants from leaves called leaf culture
Leaf culture is a new method in the propagation of plants using leaves of the plants. The customer seedlings/ clonal plantlets are being produced from seeds, cuttings, ground layers, air layer and tissue culture.
The present invention relates to clonal propagation of plants using leaves. CLONING.
1. Cloning is a method of probagation by which 100% exact yield could be obtained from mother plant.

2. Selection be made of mother plant with all possible superior charters.
3. Poly bags filled with river-silt or ordinary soil and sand, mixed in the ratio of 1 : 2 are to be prepared.
4. Poly bags are arrange in the Poly tunnel mist-chamber and to be wetted properly.
5. The leaves obtained from the plant to be treated with rooting hormone IBA (please expand) or tender coconut water for about 10 minutes.
6. Then leaves to be planted in Poly bas and the chamber should be closed airtight and a tempertature of 30 Deree Celsius and Humidity of about 60% should be maintained.
7. Rooting will be seen within 4 weeks times and a new plant would be sprouted from the soil.
8. Secondary hardening should be done by keeping them in open area under sun for two months.
Advantageous.
The clonal plants are better in yield than the customary production of plants from seeds.
The clonal plants are disease tolerance.

Claims

We claim.
1. Select mother plant with all possible superior characters.
2. Poly bags filled with the riversilt or ordinary soil and sand mixed in the ratio of 1: 2.
3. Arrange the Poly tunnel mist chambers as shown in the picture/ drawings.
4. The poly bas to be wetted properly.
5. The selected leaves are to be treated with rooting hormone IBA (please expand IBA) or tender coconut water for about 10 minutes.
6. Then Plantation of the leaves to be done in the Poly bags in the chamber which should be closed airtight.
7. Maintain temperature around 30 degree Celsius.
8. Maintain humidity about 60% .
