As shown in FIG. 2, a bending spring 45 is arranged so as to cross the opening 43. The bending spring 45 is composed of a metal rod formed in a substantially M shape, and the horn plate 4 is slidable in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2 by a projection 44a and a hook 44b provided on the horn plate 4. Is held in.
A snap-in structure is formed by the opening 43 and the bending spring 45. When the claw portion 33 of the airbag module 3 is inserted into the opening 43, the bending spring 45 is pushed away in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2 and slides, and when the return portion of the claw portion 33 exceeds the bending spring 45, the bending spring 45 45 is restored, and the claw 33 is engaged with the bending spring 45. Thereby, the airbag module 3 is fixed to the horn plate 4.
The damper unit 5 includes a protector 47 made of synthetic resin that engages with a damper unit engagement opening 41 of the horn plate 4, a resin supporter 53 that is externally fitted to the shaft member 21, and a rubber bush that is externally fitted to the supporter 53. 50 etc.
As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the protector 47 includes a ring-shaped flange portion 47a that overlaps the surface of the horn plate 4 (the surface on the airbag module 3 side), an annular wall portion 47b that rises from the outer periphery of the flange portion 47a, A plurality of projecting pieces 47c, leg pieces 47d, and the like rise from the inner peripheral edge of the flange portion 47a in the opposite direction to the annular wall portion 47b.
In this embodiment, the projecting piece portions 47c and the leg piece portions 47d are provided in three pieces, and are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction along the inner peripheral edge of the flange portion 47a. Three each of the convex portions 50 a and 50 b are provided at intervals in the outer circumferential direction of the rubber bush 50.
When the rubber bush 50 is inserted into the protector 47, as shown in FIG. 3, the first convex portion 50a engages with the tip of the projecting piece portion 47c of the protector 47, and the convex portion 50b on the other end side engages with the flange portion 47a. To do. As a result, the rubber bush 50 is integrated with the protector 47 so as not to move in the axial direction. In addition, since the 1st convex part 50a is located between leg piece parts 47d and 47d, rotation to the circumferential direction of the rubber bush 50 is blocked | prevented.
The resin supporter 53 has a ring-shaped flange portion 53a, three long protruding piece portions 53b and a long leg piece portion 53c that rise from the front inner periphery of the flange portion 53a. In this embodiment, the long protrusion pieces 53b and the long leg pieces 53c are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction along the inner peripheral edge of the flange portion 53a. A claw portion 53d is erected in the radial direction from the front end side in the standing direction of the long leg piece portion 53c. Three small protrusions 53t are provided on the rear surface of the flange portion 53a.
The resin supporter 53 is inserted into the rubber bush 50 from the second convex portion 50b side (rear end side) toward the convex portion 50a side (front end side). The resin supporter 53 and the rubber bush 50 are integrated by engaging the claw portion 53d with the front end surface of the rubber bush 50 and sandwiching the rubber bush 50 between the claw portion 53d and the flange portion 53a. The long projecting piece 53b abuts against the inner peripheral surface of the rubber bush 50 and prevents the resin supporter 53 from moving in the radial direction.
The three convex parts 53e protrude from the outer periphery of the flange part 53a to the horn plate 4 side. When each convex part 53e enters between the convex parts 50b and 50b of the rubber bush 50, rotation of the resin supporter 53 in the circumferential direction is prevented.
As shown in FIG. 3, the horn plate 4 is urged in a direction away from the cored bar part 2 by a coil spring 46 disposed in an accumulated state between the horn plate 4 and the cored bar part 2. One end of the coil spring 46 is in contact with the convex portion 22 of the cored bar 2, and the other end is in contact with the notch step 47 k at the tip of the leg piece 47 d of the protector 47.
The cored bar portion 2 is formed with a convex portion 22 at a position where the shaft member 21 is fixed, and the convex portion 22 is formed with a bolt hole 23 having a female screw. The convex portion 22 is formed to ensure the length of the bolt hole 23. When the core metal part 2 has a sufficient thickness, the convex part 22 may be omitted.
The shaft member 21 includes a columnar portion 21a, a flange-shaped head portion 21b provided at one end of the columnar portion 21a, and a bolt portion 21c protruding from the other end of the columnar portion 21a. The shaft member 21 is erected on the cored bar part 2 by screwing the bolt part 21c into the bolt hole 23. The shaft member 21 is disposed so as to pass through the damper unit 5 attached to the opening 41 of the horn plate 4. The coil spring 46 surrounds the columnar portion 21 a and is disposed between the convex portion 22 of the core metal portion 2 and the leg piece portion 47 d of the protector 47 as described above. The coil spring 46 urges the horn plate 4 via the protector 47 in a direction away from the cored bar 2 (upward direction in FIG. 3). When the horn plate 4 is pushed by the coil spring 46, the small protrusion 53t of the resin supporter 53 comes into contact with the head 21b.
The horn switch mechanism 6 is constituted by the movable contact 61 arranged on the horn plate 4 and the fixed contact 62 arranged on the cored bar 2. The fixed contact 62 is fixed to, for example, the top of the convex portion 24 formed on the cored bar portion 2, and is disposed at a height that can contact the movable contact 61 by the vertical movement of the horn plate 4. The arrangement of the movable contact 61 and the fixed contact 62 is not limited to the illustrated configuration. For example, the fixed contact 62 is fixed to the surface of the cored bar 2 and the movable contact 61 is extended downward from the rear surface of the horn plate 4. You may arrange.
The rubber bush 50 is made of rubber having a hardness according to a JIS K 6253 type A durometer of preferably 20 to 40, particularly about 25 to 35. As the rubber, for example, a synthetic rubber such as ethylene propylene diene rubber or chloroprene rubber is suitable.
The resin supporter 53 prevents the rubber bush 50 from coming into contact with the shaft member 21 and suppresses the abrasion of the rubber bush 50.
By depressing the airbag module 3, the horn plate 4 moves along the shaft member 21 in the direction of the cored bar 2 (downward), and the movable contact 61 and the fixed contact 62 come into contact with each other. Blow. At this time, the damper unit 5 disposed in the opening 41 also moves along the shaft member 21 together with the horn plate 4. When the pressing force of the airbag module 3 is released, the horn plate 4 is returned to the original position by the action of the coil spring 46.
The damper unit 5 is a dynamic damper that adjusts the vibration frequency of the airbag module 3, which is a mass body fixed to the horn plate 4, and cancels the vibration transmitted from the vehicle body side by the resonance of the airbag module 3. Function.
It is preferable that the three damper units 5 are arranged on the same circumference. Here, the arrangement position of the damper unit 5 refers to the center position of the substantially cylindrical rubber bush 50 of the damper unit 5, and corresponds to the center position of the shaft member 21. In a state where the steering wheel 1 is viewed facing the steering wheel 1, the center of the circle is located in the vicinity of the center of the annular wheel portion 11, in the vicinity of the center of gravity of the airbag module 3, or in an area between them. Is preferred. When the center of the wheel part 11 and the center of gravity of the airbag module 3 coincide, it is preferable that the center of the circle is located in the vicinity thereof. The arrangement interval (distance in the circumferential direction) of the damper unit 5 on the circumference of one circle may be the same or different.
In this embodiment, the diameter of this circle is preferably 80 mm or more and 110 mm or less, and particularly preferably 100 mm or less.
In general, the diameter (width) of the airbag module 3 of the steering wheel 1 is about 160 mm, and the damper unit 5 is located on the inner side (center side) from the middle point from the center of the airbag module 3 to the end of the airbag module 3. When arranged, the air bag module 3 is likely to rattle during horn operation, which may impair comfort. Therefore, it is preferable that the damper unit 5 is disposed outside (end side) from the middle point from the center of the airbag module 3 to the end of the airbag module 3, and the diameter of the circle is the diameter of the airbag module 3 ( Preferably, it is at least half of the width), that is, at least 80 mm.
As described above, the damper unit 5 functions as a dynamic damper that cancels the vibration transmitted from the vehicle body side by the resonance of the airbag module 3 and suppresses the vibration. The frequency of vibration transmitted from the vehicle body has a large component of 37 to 38 Hz, and the resonance frequency of the steering wheel 1 is preferably in this band.
According to the present embodiment, the damper unit 5 is configured by three points, that is, the protector 47, the resin supporter 53, and the rubber bush 50. Since the number of parts is small, the damper unit 5 can be reduced in size and the cost can be reduced. In addition, one-way assembly is possible, and it is only necessary to push in each part, and management of a fastening angle such as rotational fastening becomes unnecessary, and man-hours can be reduced.
A damper unit 5A according to another embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.
6 and 7, the damper unit mounting opening 41A of the horn plate 4A is not provided with a notch 41d but is a perfect circle. The horn plate 4A is provided with a small hole 41i in the vicinity of the opening 41A. The other configuration of the horn plate 4A is the same as that of the horn plate 4.
The protector 47A is provided with a rod 47i that enters the small hole 41i. The rod 47i extends from the annular wall portion 47b toward the small hole 41i.
The leg piece portion 47d and the projecting piece portion 47c have their outer peripheral surfaces positioned at an equal radius with respect to the axis of the protector 47A. Other configurations of the protector 47A are the same as those of the protector 47, and the same reference numerals denote the same parts.
The rubber bush 50A is provided with a flange portion 50d on the rear end side, that is, on the rear end side in the insertion direction of the opening 41A, and a convex portion 50e is projected from the peripheral edge portion of the flange portion 50d. This convex part 50e is arrange | positioned in the circumferential direction 3 equal position of the periphery of the flange part 50d. The convex portion 50e protrudes in the radial direction from the flange portion 50d and protrudes rearward from the rear surface of the flange portion 50d.
On the outer peripheral surface of the rubber bush 50A between the flange portion 50d and the first convex portion 50a, a ridge 50c extending in a direction parallel to the axial center line direction of the rubber bush 50A is provided.
Other configurations of the rubber bush 50A are the same as those of the rubber bush 50, and the same reference numerals indicate the same parts.
The resin supporter 53A is not provided with the long protruding piece portion 53b, and only the long leg piece portion 53c is erected from the inner peripheral edge of the flange portion 53a. On the outer peripheral edge of the flange portion 53a, a convex portion 53f protruding only in the radial direction is provided at a position equally divided into three in the circumferential direction.
The other structure of the resin supporter 53A is the same as that of the resin supporter 53, and the same reference numerals indicate the same parts.
Similarly to the damper unit 5, the damper unit 5A has a leg piece 53c of the resin supporter 53A inserted in the rubber bush 50A, the claw 53d engages with the tip end surface of the rubber bush 50A, and the claw 53d and the flange. The rubber bush 50A is sandwiched between the portions 53a. The protrusion 53f enters between the protrusions 50e and 50e, thereby preventing the resin supporter 53A from rotating in the circumferential direction.
The rubber bush 50A is inserted into the protector 47A in the same manner as the rubber bush 50, and the convex portion 50a is engaged with the tip of the protruding piece portion 47c. Further, the flange portion 50 d overlaps the flange portion 47 a of the protector 47. Thereby, the rubber bush 50A and the protector 47A are integrated.
The protector 47A is inserted into the opening 41A. At this time, the rod 47i is inserted into the small hole 41i, and the rotation of the protector 47A in the circumferential direction is prevented.
The shaft member 21 is inserted into the resin supporter 53A in the same manner as in FIG. 3, and a male screw-shaped tip 21a (not shown in FIGS. 6 and 7) is inserted into the bolt hole 23 (see FIG. 3) of the cored bar 2. Screwed. A coil spring 46 is interposed between the leg piece portion 47 d and the convex portion 22 of the cored bar portion 2.
Also in this embodiment, the damper unit 5A is composed of the protector 47A, the rubber bush 50A, and the resin supporter 53A, and the number of parts is small. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the size.
In the above embodiment, a configuration in which the damper unit 5 is mounted in the opening 41 provided in the horn plate 4 and the bolt portion 21 c at the tip of the shaft member 21 is screwed into the bolt hole 23 of the core metal portion 2 is described. However, as shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, the airbag module 3 is attached to the steering wheel body 10 by a snap-in method, and an opening 141 (FIG. 10) provided in the retainer 104 of the airbag module 3 is provided. The damper unit 5 may be mounted.
The metal core part 2 has an insertion hole 2b of the shaft member 21, a lock spring 127, a steering shaft mounting hole 128, and the like. The lock spring 127 is substantially U-shaped, and is arranged so that one side crosses the insertion hole 2b in the chord direction. The lock spring 127 is inserted into the tunnel-shaped spring holder 130, positioned in contact with the stoppers 131 and 132, and attached to the core metal part 2.
An inflator 142 and an airbag (not shown) are attached to the retainer 104, and the airbag is attached to the retainer 104 with a bolt 146 together with the inflator 142.
The tip end of the shaft member 21 is a tapered tapered portion 21d, and a groove 21e is provided around the outer peripheral surface adjacent to the tapered portion 21d. The rear end side of the groove 21e is a straight shape portion 21f, and a flange portion 21g is provided on the rear end side of the straight shape portion 21f.
In order to attach the airbag module 3 to the steering wheel body 10, the shaft member 21 is inserted into the insertion hole 2b. When the shaft member 21 moves forward, the lock spring 127 comes into contact with the tapered portion 21d. When the lock spring 127 passes through the tapered portion 21d, the lock spring 127 engages with the groove 21e, and the flange portion 21g abuts on the peripheral portion on the inlet side of the insertion hole 2b. Thereby, the shaft member 21 is fixed to the cored bar part 2, and the airbag module 3 can be attached to the steering wheel body 10.
