Abstract
Description
本願は、2015年12月24日に出願された特願2015-251539号について優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
図1に示すように、本実施形態の汚泥焼却プラント1は、下水汚泥などの汚泥Sを焼却する焼却炉2と、焼却炉2から排出される排ガスEGの廃熱(焼却熱)を用いて発電を行う発電装置3と、制御装置4と、を備えている。本実施形態の汚泥焼却プラント1は、汚泥Sを焼却処理するとともに、焼却に伴って発生する熱を回収して発電を行う廃熱発電システムである。発電装置3は、熱媒体としてプラントを循環する熱媒油HOを用いている。
焼却炉2には、燃焼空気ライン13(図1で一点鎖線を用いて示す)を介して燃焼空気A1(流動空気)が導入される。焼却炉2からは、第一排ガスライン5aを介して排ガスEGが排出される。焼却炉2から排出される排ガスEGの温度は、例えば850℃である。
他方の第二排ガスライン5b2は、空気予熱器7に接続されている。空気予熱器7は、第二排ガスライン5b2を流れる高温の排ガスEGの熱を回収して燃焼空気ライン13を流れる燃焼空気A1を加熱(予熱)する熱交換器である。
第一熱交換器6と空気予熱器7とは、排ガスライン5において並列に設けられている。
第二熱交換器8の下流側に設けられている集塵装置14は、耐熱性を有するろ布などを用いて排ガスEG中の煤塵・灰などの固形成分をろ過捕集する装置である。即ち、第二熱交換器8から排出され第四排ガスライン5dを介して集塵装置14に導入された排ガスEGからは煤塵等が取り除かれる。
集塵装置14には、導入される排ガスEGの温度に対して耐熱温度が設定されている。集塵装置14の耐熱温度は、例えば、220℃である。
これにより、伝熱管の金属表面の腐食が抑制されて、低温腐食が防止される。白煙防止器15を低温腐食防止型とするための処理は、上記したテフロンに限ることはなく、例えば、樹脂等の非金属材料の採用も可能である。また、伝熱管自体をセラミック等の耐腐食材で形成することも可能である。
排ガスライン5中の排ガスEGは、誘引ブロワ(図示せず)によって吸引されて、煙突17を介して排出される。
発電装置本体11は、焼却炉2の廃熱を熱源として利用し、有機作動媒体Mを加熱・蒸発させて、その蒸気で蒸気タービン23を回転させることにより発電を行う、所謂バイナリ廃熱発電システム(有機ランキンサイクル廃熱発電システム)を採用している。
熱媒油循環経路12は、発電装置本体11と第二熱交換器8とを接続する第一循環経路12aと、第二熱交換器8と第一熱交換器6とを接続する第二循環経路12bと、第一熱交換器6と発電装置本体11とを接続する第三循環経路12cと、を有している。
第一循環経路12aを介して第二熱交換器8に導入された熱媒油HOは、第三排ガスライン5cを流れる排ガスEGによって加熱される。第二循環経路12bを介して第一熱交換器6に導入された熱媒油HOは、第二排ガスライン5b1を流れる排ガスEGによって加熱される。第二熱交換器8及び第一熱交換器6にて加熱された熱媒油HOは第三循環経路12cを介して発電装置本体11の蒸発器22に導入される。
第一循環経路12aに設けられたバイパス経路27bの分岐点28と第二熱交換器8との間には、熱媒油HOの流量を調整する第一流量調整バルブ29が設けられている。バイパス経路27bには、熱媒油HOの流量を調整する第二流量調整バルブ30が設けられている。
第一循環経路12aの分岐点28よりも下流側である主経路27aを流れる熱媒油HOの流量をO1、バイパス経路27bを流れる熱媒油HOの流量をO2とすると、制御装置4は、通常は、O1:O2=4:1程度となるように、第一及び第二流量調整バルブ29,30を制御する。即ち、制御装置4は、主流である主経路27aを流れる熱媒油HOの流量が、バイパス経路27bを流れる熱媒油HOの流量よりも十分に多くなるように、第一及び第二流量調整バルブ29,30を制御する。
制御装置4は、排ガスEGの温度が設定された第一の閾値(例えば、220℃)よりも大きくなった場合に、第一循環経路12aの主経路27a(分岐点28の下流側)を流れる熱媒油HOの流量が多くなるように、第一及び第二流量調整バルブ29,30を制御する。具体的には、制御装置4は、バイパス経路27bを流れる熱媒油HOの流量が少なくなるように第二流量調整バルブ30を操作するとともに、主経路27aを流れる熱媒油HOの流量が多くなるように第一流量調整バルブ29を操作する。
制御装置4は、熱媒油HOの温度が設定された第二の閾値(例えば、280℃)よりも大きくなった場合に、熱媒油循環経路12の全体を流れる熱媒油HOの流速が多くなるように、熱媒油ポンプ31を制御する。
熱媒油循環経路12全体における熱媒油HOの流速が増加することによって、熱媒油HOの温度が低下する。
汚泥Sが焼却炉2に投入されて、焼却される。焼却に伴い生成された排ガスEG(例えば、850℃)は、第一熱交換器6にて熱媒油HOの加熱源として利用される。また、排ガスEGは、空気予熱器7にて燃焼空気A1の加熱源として利用される。
第一熱交換器6及び空気予熱器7を通過した排ガスEGの温度は、例えば300℃にまで低下する。即ち、排ガスEGは、850℃から300℃まで急冷される。
第二熱交換器8を通過した排ガスEGは、集塵装置14に導入されて集塵処理が施される。
熱媒油循環経路12を循環する熱媒油HOは、第二熱交換器8及び第一熱交換器6にて排ガスEGと熱交換することにより例えば、280℃まで昇温される。昇温された熱媒油HOは、発電装置本体11の蒸発器22内の有機作動媒体Mを加熱するために用いられる。有機作動媒体Mは蒸発器22にて蒸気となり、蒸気タービン23に導入されて、発電機24を駆動する。蒸気タービン23を出た蒸気は、凝縮器25において、冷却されて凝縮される。凝縮された有機作動媒体Mは、蒸発器22に戻される。
第一の制御方法は、第二熱交換器8から排出される排ガスEGの温度が第一の閾値より大きいかどうかを判定する排ガス温度判定工程P11と、第二熱交換器8に導入される排ガスEGの温度が第一の閾値より大きい場合に、第一循環経路12aの主経路27aを流れる熱媒油HOの流量を増加させる、主経路流量増加工程P12と、を有している。
排ガスEGの温度が220℃よりも大きい場合は、制御装置4は主経路流量増加工程P12を実行する。主経路流量増加工程P12では、制御装置4は、バルブ29,30の開度を調整して、主経路27aを流れる熱媒油HOの流量を増加させる。これにより、排ガスEGと熱媒油HOとの間の熱交換量が増加し、排ガスEGの温度が低下する。
一方、排ガスEGの温度が低い場合、制御装置4は、第一及び第二流量調整バルブ29,30の開度を調整して、主経路27aを流れる熱媒油HOの流量を減少させる制御を実施しても良い。
第二の制御方法は、第一熱交換器6から排出される熱媒油HOの温度が第二の閾値より大きいかどうかを判定する熱媒油温度判定工程P21と、熱媒油HOの温度が第二の閾値より大きい場合に、熱媒油循環経路12全体を流れる熱媒油HOの流速を増加させる、熱媒油流量増加工程P22と、を有している。
一方、熱媒油HOの温度が低い場合、制御装置4は、熱媒油ポンプ31の吐出流量を調整して、熱媒油HOの流速を低下させる制御を実施しても良い。
また、発電装置3として、バイナリ廃熱発電システムを採用したことによって、プラントの規模が小さい(例えば、汚泥処理量100t/日)場合においても効率よく発電を行うことができる。
例えば、煙突17から排出される煙が白煙でもよい場合は、白煙防止器15を省略してもよい。
また、制御装置4は、第一の制御方法と第二の制御方法を同時に実行してもよい。排ガス温度と熱媒温度を同時に制御することで、相乗効果により互いの応答性を早めることが可能となり、結果として収束する速度を速めることができる。

Claims (5)
- 焼却炉と、
前記焼却炉から排出される排ガスが流通する排ガスラインと、
熱媒油を熱源として発電する発電装置と、
前記排ガスと前記発電装置に供給される熱媒油とを熱交換する第一熱交換器と、
前記排ガスラインにおいて前記第一熱交換器と並列に設けられて前記排ガスと前記焼却炉へ供給される空気とを熱交換する空気予熱器と、
前記第一熱交換器及び前記空気予熱器にて熱交換された前記排ガスから固形成分を除去する集塵装置と、
前記排ガスラインにおいて前記集塵装置の上流側に設けられ、前記第一熱交換器及び前記空気予熱器にて熱交換された前記排ガスと前記第一熱交換器に供給される前記熱媒油との間で熱交換する第二熱交換器と、を有する廃熱発電システム。 - 前記第二熱交換器から排出された前記排ガスの温度に基づいて前記第二熱交換器で熱交換される熱媒油の流量を調整する制御装置を備えている請求項1に記載の廃熱発電システム。
- 熱媒油が循環する熱媒油循環経路と、
前記熱媒油循環経路において前記第二熱交換器の上流側と前記第二熱交換器の下流側とを前記第二熱交換器を迂回して接続するバイパス経路と、を備え、
前記制御装置は、前記バイパス経路を流れる熱媒油の流量を調整する請求項2に記載の廃熱発電システム。 - 前記第一熱交換器で熱交換された前記熱媒油の温度に基づいて前記発電装置へ供給される熱媒油の流速を調整する請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の廃熱発電システム。
- 前記第二熱交換器から排出されて前記集塵装置を通過した前記排ガスにより外気を加熱して煙突へ供給する白煙防止器を備えている請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の廃熱発電システム。
