Abstract
Description
1対の回転体は、エンジンのクランクシャフトから変速機の変速機構に通じる、前記エンジンの出力トルクの伝達経路における、前記エンジンの回転変動を吸収する為のダンパと、前記変速機のクラッチ機構の断接部との間部分に、前記伝達経路に沿って互いに直列に設けられる。
前記連結部材は、前記1対の回転体同士をトルク伝達を可能に同軸上に連結している。この様な連結部材としては、例えば、外径寸法が前記1対の回転体のそれぞれの外径寸法よりも小さく、前記1対の回転体の中心部同士を、トルク伝達を可能に同軸上に連結した連結軸を採用する事ができる。
前記第一エンコーダは、前記1対の回転体の一方に固定され、被検出部の特性を円周方向に関して交互に変化させている。
前記第二エンコーダは、前記1対の回転体の他方に固定され、被検出部の特性を円周方向に関して交互に変化させている。
前記第一センサは、前記第一エンコーダの被検出部に自身の検出部を対向させた状態で、使用時にも回転しない部分に支持され、前記第一エンコーダの被検出部における前記自身の検出部を対向させた部分の特性変化に対応して出力信号を変化させる。
前記第二センサは、前記第二エンコーダの被検出部に自身の検出部を対向させた状態で、使用時にも回転しない部分に支持され、前記第二エンコーダの被検出部における前記自身の検出部を対向させた部分の特性変化に対応して出力信号を変化させる。
更に、本発明のトルク測定装置付回転伝達装置は、前記第一センサと前記第二センサとの出力信号同士の間の位相差に基づいて、前記エンジンの出力トルクを測定可能としている。
即ち、本発明の場合には、エンジンのクランクシャフトから変速機の変速機構に通じる、エンジンの出力トルクの伝達経路における、エンジンの回転変動を吸収する為のダンパと、変速機のクラッチ機構の断接部との間部分に、伝達経路に沿って互いに直列に設けられる1対の回転体に対し、第一、第二エンコーダを固定する。そして、第一センサの検出部を第一エンコーダの被検出部に、第二センサの検出部を第二エンコーダの被検出部に、それぞれ対向させる。1対の回転体の周辺の部品の密集度は、変速機構を構成する部品の密集度に比べて低い(又は、低くする事が容易である)。この為、本発明の場合には、前述した従来構造の様に、第一、第二エンコーダ及び第一、第二センサを変速機構に設置する場合に比べて、これら第一、第二エンコーダ及び第一、第二センサの設置を容易に行える(設置の自由度を高くできる)。更に、本発明の場合には、エンジンの出力トルクを、変速機構に入力される前に測定する事ができる。従って、変速機がデュアルクラッチトランスミッションである場合の様に、走行時の速段(1速、2速等の別)によって、変速機構の内部でのトルクの伝達経路が変わると共に、走行時の速段の切り換え(シフトチェンジ)が行われる際に、変速機構の内部でトルクの伝達経路が分岐する様な場合でも、この様な事象が起こる前に、前記エンジンの出力トルクの大きさを測定する事ができる。従って、本発明の場合には、変速機の種類に拘わらず、前記エンジンの出力トルクの大きさを容易に求める事ができる。
本発明の実施の形態の第1例について、図1を参照しつつ説明する。
本例のトルク測定装置付回転伝達装置1は、自動車用の変速機2に組み込んだ状態で使用されるもので、ドライブプレート3と、クラッチカバー4と、連結軸5と、第一エンコーダ6と、第二エンコーダ7と、第一センサ8と、第二センサ9とを備える。
エンジンが始動した後、図示しない制御装置は、自動車の運転状態(アクセル開度、エンジンの回転速度、車速等)に応じて、クラッチ機構20、及び、第一~第三シンクロメッシュ機構41~43を作動させ、速段(ギヤ段)を適宜切り換える。
エンジンが始動した後の自動車の停車状態では、クラッチ機構20を構成するクラッチカバー4と第一、第二クラッチ板22、23との接続は、ともに断たれており、第一~第三シンクロメッシュ機構41~43は、それぞれ中立状態になっている。

- エンジンのクランクシャフトから変速機の変速機構に通じる、前記エンジンの出力トルクの伝達経路における、前記エンジンの回転変動を吸収する為のダンパと、前記変速機のクラッチ機構の断接部との間部分に、前記伝達経路に沿って互いに直列に設けられる1対の回転体と、
前記1対の回転体同士をトルク伝達を可能に同軸上に連結した連結部材と、
前記1対の回転体の一方に固定され、被検出部の特性を円周方向に関して交互に変化させた第一エンコーダと、
前記1対の回転体の他方に固定され、被検出部の特性を円周方向に関して交互に変化させた第二エンコーダと、
前記第一エンコーダの被検出部に自身の検出部を対向させた状態で使用時にも回転しない部分に支持され、前記第一エンコーダの被検出部の前記自身の検出部を対向させた部分の特性変化に対応して出力信号を変化させる第一センサと、
前記第二エンコーダの被検出部に自身の検出部を対向させた状態で使用時にも回転しない部分に支持され、前記第二エンコーダの被検出部の前記自身の検出部を対向させた部分の特性変化に対応して出力信号を変化させる第二センサと、を備え、
前記第一センサと前記第二センサとの出力信号同士の間の位相差に基づいて、前記エンジンの出力トルクを測定可能とした
